Yuu is able to understand hareston residence despite their accents.

Yuu:… Wait… Can you guys GENUINELY not understand their accent!?!?!

Yuu: I thought you guys were just being hyperbolic!

Sebek: I BEG YOUR PARDON!? A lot of us aren’t used to harveston ascent or phrases!

Yuu: I… guess???? Although you can usually extrapolate what they are trying to say based on context clues and it also helps that my brother had a similar, albeit not as thick of an accent. So I heard it for a good chunk of my life so…there’s that.

Idia:… wait… how does your brother have a country accent but not you???

Yuu: We’ll he’s my oldest brother and when he was growing up, he lived in the Midwest so he picked it up when he was growing up, same for my sister, but she try’s to hide it.

Yuu: As for me and my other older brother, he and I were born and primarily lived in Burbank California.

so like... correct me if i'm wrong, but the cschool in twst wonderland is supposed to be an all-boys school, correct? but the mc in the game is technically gender-neutral. so, you could be playing as a fem!mc but the narrative just doesn't question it... and *that* makes me think about how the school has so many lil femboys running around that gender lines blurred...

just imagining a fem!mc not hiding that they're a girl but just. never being asked. they never correct anyone's gendered assumptions bc there's a lot more reasons they're not supposed to be at the college than just not being a boy... fem!mc finally getting figured out (think haruhi from ohshc type shenanigans) and everyone just being *bewildered*. and mc's just like "... yeah idk what to tell you guys... nobody asked?"

you could honestly be very visibly fem at the college and no one would question it bc some people look more feminine but that doesn't mean they're not boys. so everyone just assumes you're like that. just the idea of everyone being so caught off guard bc gendered assumptions aren't as prevalent there and their bro, their homie, is actually a *girl*. and then nothing really changing after the initial discovery bc in the end you not using magic is MUCH more odd than you being the only girl

Another Twisted Wonderland theory! Here we go!

Based off the discussion I had with @kurara-black-blog

Crowley is a murderer

So in addition to my “Crowley committing white collar crimes theory”,here’s a new theory based off a discussion I had. Crowley is a murderer and it all ties back into Ramshackle.

When we first get into Ramshackle the ghosts say “Join us in death.” By a stroke of luck, we didn’t die because Grim was there. There’s also a little detail that is hardly noticed or talked about. The gravestones in front of Ramshackle. It sticks out like a sore thumb, but you can tell from the picture of Ramshackle that they have been there for a long time. Now, the ghosts have been in Ramshackle for maybe a century or so. Which means it’s entirely possible that the ghosts of Ramshackle died in the dorm. But that leaves the question of why weren’t their bodies transported back to their families?

If a student died at a boarding school, their bodies would be sent back to the family. Meaning someone(probably Crowley) went through the trouble of burying the ghosts bodies. Which is disturbing in a way, because there’s two gravestones, not three, meaning one of the ghost’s body must have been buried in the same hole as the other ghost. Furthermore, in Book 1 Chapter 24, Crowley says “For as bad as losing him would be, there are scenarios that are far worse…” meaning that there’s a situation worse than death.

And what’s worse than death? What’s worse than death is the person you have killed coming back to haunt the place you have ended their life in. A living reminder, a grudge, of what you’ve done that is now beginning to exact their revenge and steal the life of whomever entered their resting place. Just like you did them.

Crowley has also committed attempted murder if this theory holds up, considering he sent us(MC) to live in Ramshackle knowing that the ghosts were going to try and kill us(even if they’re sweethearts now). Meaning he’d have one less problem to deal with.

I love twisted wonderland! I’m so happy to see you talk about it, and I also really enjoy the concept of like, gender nkt even being questioned, but also there are some instances where it seems the boys just accept that girls would be at there school even if it’s weird, like with Lilia and Epel in the first two books, they assume they’re girls and then get corrected and jsut accept it and I just love that for them.

i'm really loving the new trend (at least in my eyes? maybe it's not new lol) of games going out of their way to make the mc gender-neutral. part of the fun is imagining your own character in the mc's place, and that goes for everyone-- male, female, nonbinary, really anyone on the gender identity and expression spectrums.

it's probably not the *smartest* idea for the twst devs to have made night raven college an all-boys school in that regard, but i like the nonchalance it adds about gender. maybe mc is a girl. maybe mc is a boy. maybe mc is somewhere inbetween. at the end of the day, everyone will respect that-- then tease you for having no magic and being clueless about the world you're in. after all, having no magic is MUCH stranger to them than what's inside your uniform.
