This all started with me trying to justify why I named Lightfury Lightfury in my storyboard for TxL.

(For context on the TxL part, I’ve had that series on my YouTube for years and people keep requesting more from it. TxL stands for Toothless X Lightfury, but if I’m being honest that’s not even what my series is about. There’s literally no chemistry between these two characters, I just wanted to draw dragons when I first made my YouTube and naming it TxL gets me views.)

Been reading the Sadeian woman after @normalbrothers mentioned it in relation to Diana Mitford, many thoughts but tumblr (and no computer on holidays) is. Poor format for those thoughts

That said, in a(n unrelated?) tangent, the books framing of the written pornographer’s role in reinforcing sexual dynamics/norms (and that this is why de Sade was at least worthy of analysis because he challenged sexual/gender/power dynamic norms) makes me wonder regarding the propensity (call it the dominance; the dominant minority) of readerfic these days (writ by women for women and using the 'self insert' motif to tackle first person POV) and how it’s recolonised fannish spaces back to a particular model of acceptable pornography through sheer flooding quantity .

Meine Fotos von den Passagierbrücken sind alle unscharf. Die Frau hatte eine superenergische, laute Stimme. Und dafür verschwende ich meine Zeit und fahre hier hin! Und jetzt werde ich auch von Securityleuten angekackt, weil ich Fotos mache von dem Tunnel, durch den ich nach meiner ersten Corona-Impfung gegangen bin, was für mich ein ganz besonderer Moment war. Ich kann gar nicht richtig heulen. Jetzt wird schon wieder alles knapp! Ich muss noch Futter kaufen und wenn ich um 18:00 Uhr im Meeting sein will, weil ich denke, Meeting tut mir gut, dann muss ich mich total beeilen. Am liebsten würde ich Ludwig anrufen und ihn vollheulen, weil er ja gesagt hat: Du kannst mich jederzeit anrufen.

Der Neue, 32 Tage trocken, kam gestern auf mich zu und hat gefragt wie das denn ist, warum man denn stationär oder ambulant geht, wie das bei mir war. Und das fand ich stark von ihm. Er möchte trocken bleiben. Man merkt wie er damit zu tun hat.

Wer oder was hat mich denn so schlecht drauf gemacht? Die Arbeit oder die Tatsache, dass ich die Tablette nehme oder kommt halt jetzt einfach die Trauer hoch mit dem Kinderwunsch? Was war denn der Auslöser? Der Lärm zu Hause? Die Baustelle? Die Fehler, die ich gemacht habe? Ludwig sagte: Na, dann hast du eben zwei Fehlerchen gemacht. Der gibt der Sache eine ganz andere Wertigkeit. Und ich fühl mich fünf Köpfe kürzer.
