I feel like there's this untapped potential of headcanoning Tony with ocd in the same way there's untapped potential for horror MC's having ocd. Because you have to think about it from that pov: whether or not you've learned to cope with it and quell your intrusive thoughts and live with the paranoia it gives you, to be put in a horrific or extremely traumatizing situation like that, the only way to acknowledge and save yourself from it would be to look at a seemingly paranoid sense of fear and say "this time it isn't paranoid. This time it's actually founded. It's real it was real all along and the doom and dread that's followed me all my life is Real and it's Here and it's going to kill me" . How much would that undo... even if you escape with your life, how would you ever go back to not accounting for every wrong move, every failure every outcome every paranoid possibility no matter how far fetched or traumatic. How would you look at your past life and not see yourself as naive, to think you were the crazy one, rather than the world around you.

“You almost got us caught,” Tomura gripes, tugging his hoodie low over his eyes to hide the distinctive scars around his eyes. Toga giggles at his side, her elbow jabbing him in the ribs. Fuck, he hates being this close to people. 

“That was fun, Tomura-kun!” she whispers conspiratorially, her grin wide and excited. “We definitely need to do more infiltration missions!”

“Say it louder, why don’t you,” Spinner grumbles from Tomura’s other side. “We already beefed stealth today, what’s one more fumble?”

Loss: From chapter 5 of "180 Degrees"

He’d spent so many years of his life hiding his identity from everyone, particularly at this point in his life. No one knew he was Endeavor’s son in the present except for Keigo and now… the Commission. The same Commission that had helped Endeavor smooth over the loss of his son as if it’d never happened. Dabi felt his mouth go dry and his hackles rise in an automatic response to danger. Deception. Because what Hawks was offering couldn’t be anything but a lie. A supportive hand disguising the knife he would drive into Dabi’s back. “No,” he said quietly. Then, because he wanted to twist the knife in return. “I’ve had enough of liars and fake heroes, thanks.”

Smirk: From chapter 2 of "a hero and a villain walk into a bar" (NSFW)

She’s thinking of how Dabi had bent her in half, his hot hands pressing the backs of her knees until they’d framed her face. That’d been nice. So few guys were ever willing to test her flexibility, but fuck if she can’t feel it in her hamstrings now.

“I thought Kamui said the fight was easy yesterday?” Ryukyu asks as they both change into their complimentary robes. Rumi smirks at the hero over her bare shoulder, not at all being subtle about the faint handprint visiblely wrapping around her deltoid.  “Oh. Oh!” Ryuku follows Rumi’s red eyes and her own golden ones widen. “So that’s what happened after the fight. Nice.”

Laugh: From chapter 5 of "When the wolf is at your door (invite him to dinner)"

“Man, you should see your face right now,” Hawks laughs, his scar bunching up under his eye. “I honestly thought you’d figured it out with the witness protection bit you brought up at our date.”

“It wasn’t a date,” Touya denies automatically. Then he scowls. “How do I factor in?”
