Is there a fanfic idea that you're dying to read that doesn't currently exist yet?

I want to see a nice complicated romance where we get to explore the tricky nature of BJ working very closely with an assertive blonde named Margaret, and how that would undoubtedly fuck with him a bit, especially given how often he's turning to booze to blur the world enough for him to be able to tolerate it.

@cuddleswinchester did me a damage the time that a bunch of us were talking about WTK and what a whirlwind it must've been for all parties involved—Frank and Margaret who were excited to have a fresh young surgeon to fuck mold in their vision, that sort of thing—and we were discussing how shitfaced Beej was when he made his first impression, and Kellan said something to the effect of, "He's just had a horrible dream. Thank goodness his wife is here," in regards to him dropping to his knees and clinging to Margaret immediately, and it dealt me such critical damage that I have lingering wounds that continue to flare up every time I remember it.

So yeah, a fic exploring how BJ might relate to her in that initial transition into the camp, how he finds himself in her space more than he should be, leaning on her, teasing her, being fond of her and far far too familiar, and how rapidly that has the potential to spin out of control in an ill-advised situation or two. I would love that.

This is an idea that no one else cares about, but I will die for all of my rare pairs, and you did ask, and so here we are hkffd

you know anon this is something i think about kind of a lot. see on one hand, i genuinely believe them when they say they don't hang out but that they want to get dinner and drinks together. because like why would you lie about that? i think if they did actually meet up then they wouldn't talk about it like that. if that makes sense.

on the other hand, i also feel like there's some conflicting information regarding how often they talk to each other. klopp has said on numerous occasions things like "we have a good relationship without speaking" which seems to imply that they don't really talk to each other outside of professional contexts. but like i just mentioned, pep has told klopp that he wants to get drinks?? pep has told klopp personally how much he admires and respects him?? when liverpool traveled to the etihad in 21/22 it seems like pep knew beforehand that klopp's family would be there?? so like where would they have found the time to say these things if they didn't talk privately at least once in a while?? also klopp has confirmed they have texted eachother before for personal circumstances so what's stopping them from doing it more. nothing really

so yeah. my verdict is basically i don't think that they currently meet up in that manner, but i also think that they might talk to each other more than they let on in public. though tbh mostly it's klopp that denies their closeness. pep to his credit is always happy to say things like "we know each other quite well"

What would u consider a dream/nightmare blunt rotation with the members of the 4077th

I personally would LOVE to pass a blunt around with Hawk, Sidney, and Klinger. There'd be a lot of laughing, meandering, philosophizing, and getting to the heart of some fears and anxieties, and ultimately waking up the next day feeling fed rather than depleted.

I can think of nothing worse than a blunt rotation with Frank, Flagg, and, god, probably someone like Radar, bless him. Any other people in attendance, then maybe I'd have Radar there, but that specific combo would be a den of paranoia, anxiety, suspicion, and I probably would not be allowed to leave the tent until I answered enough questions sufficiently to prove that I was a Patriotic American, while meanwhile Radar is just sitting in the corner and narrating his vivid hallucinations about planes getting shot out of the sky and chickens. Horrible.

#also frank's laugh would probably hit my oversensitive ears and make me strangle him but that's not his fault #ty for this!! #my ramblings

"The stuff dreams are made of, my dear. The stuff… dreams are made of," he answers, catching a couple sitting further off in the distance. They won't hear. “I've heard from a very good friend of mine about an Evelyn Miller," he starts, the last name rolling slow and winding. "Supposedly, he's come lobbying Mayor Lemieux in the aid of the Indians - and who I've heard has made quite the bedfellow with a certain Cornwall, so it goes." The start of that came out with a hard 'k' sound, lingering. Trelawny stops leaning towards her. Someone walks by.

"—And I told her, 'My dear, I would propose'" —he starts, the words lifting bright— "'but we're already married!'"

They walk past them, smiling a laugh, and he watches them disappear. He looks back to Soka, a spark on his face. 

"Cornwall's called demanding he sign some papers in his office," he says, the stars in his eyes. "But you didn't hear it from me."

She has a potential friend in Mr. Miller, maybe some ammunition against Cornwall, both of them right here at this very house. The rosebushes rustle in the breeze, and fireworks pop overtop of her.

Moni, dearest, a humble question if I may - but if the Queen could pick any genre of film to be the hero in would he have a preference? From what little bit he alludes to, it seems like he's been offered some action-adventure roles in the past and perhaps some period pieces (granted, as the villain)

May I ask your thoughts?

While I don't think he'd be opposed to taking action-adventure or even period pieces, I think it's something he'd kind of want to stray from. Even if it's a hero's role. Mostly because Neige dominates those roles. It's been that way for years, the petty side of Vil might accept such a role despite having something different type of hero role in mind simply to prove to everyone that he's more than capable of pulling off a hero role. He'd wanna do it just to show he's probably even overqualified, he's seen this play out so many times. He'd take a hero role even if it's not the most desired genre because it'd be a stepping stone, in his eyes, too. It'd probably be weird to him because again, Neige.

However, suppose a hero role is being offered to him (I like to think after he nails that first hero role even if it is probably not what he originally had in mind). In that case, I think he'd definitely go for that "underdog" hero. One that starts at the bottom. One that everyone is shutting down and denying, who has to go through the judgment of others and prove their worth; prove they're someone worth counting on. Method acting at its core, in this case, yes. But it's probably that role that really gets people to actually stop and think that Vil's really brushing up his skillset (despite him trying for years lol).

Even a hero role that is kind of more subtle, like a "hero" that everyone in the film looks to. Where the characters ask that hero/lead "what do we do now?" and it doesn't resort to him plotting the protagonist's downfall but it's him leading the cast to find a better solution. A hero that says "there's always a way, we just need to find it". Even a cunning hero, one that doesn't strictly play by the old handbook of heroes and kind of bends some rules but ultimately gets out of it with everyone safe

One of Saya’s greatest wishes is for Orre to get an established League of some kind. Doesn’t have to be the traditional eight gyms that most other regions have, but a League of some kind. Something that can put the region on the map, rather than being forcefully kept in the dark and off to the side as if the rest of the world is ashamed over Orre. Even with the dark past of Shadow Pokemon, and the reputation it’s gained as a region full of thugs and ruffians, she still loves Orre and doesn’t want it to fall into further disarray.

She isn’t entirely sure what all goes into it, but she feels that if she can be a Pregymleader at least, similar to Phenac’s Justy, then maybe other folks in the region can take notice and take up positions similar to that in the various colosseums across Orre. She’s willing to throw away her pride and beg at Duking’s feet to allow her to use Pyrite’s Colosseum as a ‘gym’ of sorts. Even without official League sponsorship, and without a badge to hand out, she would be willing to put her own money and savings towards it, if need be. She wouldn’t be type specialist necessarily like most other region’s leaders, but would focus on another battle aspect: Sandstorms.

What has Mags found it hardest to adjust to since she's arrived, culturally?

Picking up social cues and initiating proper conversation were two of the hardest things for her to grasp. Even with the resources she has unlimited access to, Orre is still notorious for its obscurity: what few online resources exist, none quite prepared her for everyday scenarios (speaking to a clerk at the supermarket, asking for directions when her navigational systems are compromised, etc).

For the longest time, she was incredibly awkward (still is, in certain circumstances) when around others, which is why for those first few years she remained tucked within the Deep Colosseum. Communicating and spending time with her Pokemon took precedence, until she slowly began understanding the sensation of loneliness.

Despite the Orretet all being vastly different, it's taken interacting with her tight-knit group to acclimate her to the way humans behave around one another. She's able to keep up these days, thanks to them.
