I do still consider this a very Tyler Posey/Scott McCall/ Teen wolf blog, even though I do LUST and reblog many other men constantly lol. I just think Tyler was always a genuine dude who got stuck with horrible, racist, and delusional losers as the majority of fans of his show. Constantly boxing him in while dehumanizing him and Scott McCall from day 1. All for the sake of a crack ship that was created from straws, which then ended up becoming one of the most popular ships in fandom history with 0% homosexuality coming from the source material. It’s honestly insane, but I’m happy he’s living his life without being weighed down by the negative opinions of who people THINK he is as a person.

This is a rant, just fair warning to that.
I was scrolling through the "simon ghost riley" tag and like one post was labeled f!reader but it didn't get filtered via the filtered post-content thing because there was a space between f! and reader. Like I just...
How hard is it to tag your posts "simon ghost riley x female reader"? Or "simon ghost riley x f!reader" or whatever tag for the female reader stuff. But no, most of the time the posts are just tagged "simon ghost riley x you" and/or "simon ghost riley x reader" and most of the posts that get filtered are filtered via words that are in the post. And even then I still get female reader stuff because you don't even specify which reader it is until I read "my girl", "my woman", "she", or, and this is the most common thing, it's afab genitalia.
Please tag your posts correctly. Or at least label them in post. Because reader isn't just female!reader.

i think it’s interesting that the early seasons of tvd explore how hard it is to become a vampire, but after awhile they sort of stop doing that? which i assume is for narrative purposes, because no writer wants to re-hash out the same shit over and over (legacies didn’t have any issue doing that but i digress!)
but it created issues for me because it unintentionally shifted what it meant to be a vampire and how there are also very significant negatives to it.
klaus just turned tyler into a hybrid and the storyline is completely focused on the sire bond, but for some reason every other aspect of being a vampire isn’t an issue to him? and you’d think it would be even worse for him, since he’s also a werewolf. like i get he doesn’t have to turn anymore, so that’s a plus, but i would assume that there’s a lot of shit going on with your body if you’re two supernaturals at once (there’s even a line in legacies where hope confirms this when she’s talking to landon in the pilot).
so why didn’t tyler kill more random people, like caroline killed the carnival guy? i sort’ve get not wanting to be repetitive every time someone turns into a vampire, but this is a vampire show at the end of the day and that’s why people are here. they undermine the world building when they only focus on the negatives of vampirism when it’s convenient

stop, so like Im watching doctor who right now. And as a diehard Back to the Future fan, I can’t help but draw parallels between the two. There’s tons of stuff about Marty returning to 1985 to a new life and feeling wrong. Everything is different, his parents, his siblings, his friends. It’s all wrong.
Well let me remind you that Rose Tyler is trapped in the wrong universe. Obviously there’s the tragedy of her time with the doctor being cut short but the real tragedy is that she’s not in her own world. Not only that, Rose didn’t exist in that world. Ever. So that means all her friends, or at least her mate Shareen, all her neighbors won’t know her. She’s now completely alone not even with the escape the doctor brought her. So she fights and rips a whole in the universe to get back to her life. And the doctor puts her right back.

Are we ever gonna talk about how strange it was for fans to ask sterek questions at comic-con in front of professionals actors that have nothing to do with it? To the point where Dylan and Tyler had to tell a fan to ask another question in exasperation, because it was asked almost every teen wolf panel?

I haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet but Tyler and Wednesday experienced the classic teenage “you’re banned from seeing each other” trope and I think that proves they’re inseparable. No amount of hawk-parenting or “you’re on a campus-only ban” can keep them apart >:)

And like of COURSE we know why people are still insistent that Tyler is Actually Straight. Because the entire justification for a decade of hate for the man hinges on him disliking St*rek. If he hates it as a straight man then he’s Just Homophobic but if he hates it as a queer man then the foundational argument of how Sterek would be So Good for Representation (keep in mind this was 2014) falls apart and they can’t have that! So, naturally, they have to “prove” his Kinsey 0 status at all costs. It’s just impressive that they’re still at it after 9 years.

But when Nevermore hires a new smooth-talking acquisitions editor, Laurel Gates, will everything that Tyler and Wednesday secretly built together be shattered?
