sam and sarah word "sparkling"
Sam beams at the screen of his phone, watching little Cass play a game that involves two plastic buckets and multicolored blocks, the narration for which is a continuous and enthusiastic stream of baby babble.
"He's going to be a sparkling conversationalist, just like his uncle," says Sam, mentally tallying the days until he gets to head down to Delacroix again.
"Just as long as he's not a damn liar like his uncle," says Sarah, "because there is no way that you just bumped into Captain America today on your run."

i was thinking about ep 2 again (and prob should have added this to my original thoughts post but forgot since it was already so long), and i think another reason teh was so mad at oh-aew during the dinner scene was bc he’d just seen that ig story of oh-aew messing around with his friends RIGHT after another failed audition. so here he was at dinner lamenting to his drama club friends about how tough their career path was (all of whom have been working just as hard/even harder than him in order to land roles in something), and then oh-aew comes in to ‘interrupt’ this. to teh, oh-aew already gives up too easily, so to see him just having fun with his friends instead of working hard like he and the rest of his friends are? it’s like the final straw.
the problem with that is, just like any social media post, we’re only seeing a snippet of someone’s life. of course oh-aew is only going to post about him having fun with his friends on ig. we, the audience, know that he’s actually been working hard on his assignment with them as well. however, teh is having such a hard time getting outside of his own head, he doesn’t even try to see things from oh-aew’s perspective (not for the first time). he’s only seeing what he wants to see.
it’s like oh-aew taking that pic of all of them at dinner and posting it to his story too. you generally only show the good/best parts of your day on social media. if anyone else saw that, they would think dinner went well and everything was fine with their relationship. but there’s just so much more to the story than meets the eye bc the post itself is just surface level.
