Tyrian "cosplay" attempt in ESO.

One day I was bored and decided to try making Tyrian "cosplay" in ESO. And though the process can be disappointing (since ESO sucks when it comes to colours, costumes and unlocking of those), the result turned out to be unexpectedly more pleasant than I thought it could possibly be. A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

Perhaps not all of us can post here some awesome fanart and fanfics dedicated to the characters we like, but it shouldn't stop us from showing appreciation to the characters who totally deserve it.

Raven: ...

Raven: Uh...

Raven: No.

Cinder: Excellent- Wait, what? What did you just say?

Raven: No.

Cinder: ...What?

Raven: I don't want to be a part of your Inner Circle.

Cinder: I don't think you understand what I'm offering you.

Raven: Oh, I completely understand. I've decided playing villain in this series costs way more than it earns, which is how I got involved in bitcoin-

Cinder: Wait, then how are you in prison?

Raven: I was about to tell you, bitcoin. Kind of ironic, really-

Cinder: Nonono- Listen! You're going to like this! We're taking revenge against Ozpin.

Raven: (Groans) I'm sure you are.

Cinder: We're going to rule Remnant!

Raven: Yes, yes, have fun with that. But I'd rather be here, alone.

Cinder: ...

Cinder: Then I'm afraid if you refuse to join us, then when we're in charge, you will be-

Raven: Are we really doing this?! I have been to prison! I've ambushed and nearly eaten alive! You, your stupid throw-on cosplay outfit, and weak generic villain threats don't scare me!

Raven: I'm not! Interested! Go! Away!

Cinder: We-

Raven: Oh, you're still talking.

Cinder: -are assembling a team of Remnant's most dangerous foes!

Raven: Really? Like who?

Cinder: Adam Taurus...

Raven: Okay, wait, he actually sounds really cool.

Cinder: Well, we, uh, haven't actually asked him yet, so...

Raven: Oh...

Cinder: You know, he might be booked up, or, uh...

Raven: Sure, booked up.

Cinder: He, uh, lives on, like a secluded island really, really far away.

Raven: You sound intimidated.

Cinder: We also have Doctor, uh, Watts.

Raven: I don't- I don't even know who that is.

Cinder: Hazel Rainart.

Raven: The crybaby. (Facepalms) Brothers...

Cinder: We also invited, uh, Tyrian Callows-

Raven: Tyrian Callows?! Really?! Tyrian Callows?!

Cinder: Well, he's done stuff, like, uh, attacking Qrow and poisoning him.

Raven: Oh, you can get into the villain club so easily nowadays!

Raven: Do you know how hard I had to work back in my day when villainy MEANT something?!

Raven: And Tyrian Callows! Really?! What's your plan for him? Just let him loose in the middle of the city until the Huntsmen catch him two seconds later?!

Cinder: We-

Raven: Look, just stop! Just stop! I've already played this damn game too many times already. We team up, we get fancy new weapons, and outfits, and we get a cool secret lair, but it doesn't. Do us. Any. Damn. Good!

Cinder: We can also give you a redesign.

Raven: I'VE HAD SIX REDESIGNS IN THE LAST THREE YEARS! I DON'T WANT ANOTHER DAMN REDESIGN!

Raven: WHY DO YOU EVEN WANT ME?! NO, SERIOUSLY!

Raven: I'm old as fuck! Every plan has blown up in my face! What do you actually think I'll be able to contribute?! I am MARGINALLY stronger than the average person! I can make portals and that's! It! That is it!

Cinder: ...Okay, so, uh... Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all.

Raven: Finally...

Cinder: Salem's not gonna be happy about this.

Raven: FUCKING WHO?!

1) who is/are your comfort character(s)?

Ohman so many,,, obvs Scooby Doo + Co bc they've been long-term comfort characters. But also like, a lot of my Cursed Husbandos lol (Tyrian Callows, Hannibal, Dexter, Kroenen, Krieger, and more-)

And *obviously* Bucky Barnes. Duh.

3) do you leave the window open at night?

Eh, sometimes. Depends on the weather. If there's a nice breeze coming in I will for fresh air.

4) which cryptid being do you believe in?

ME (jkjk I don't believe in myself-) but uh. I'm half awake rn and I'm blanking on which ones I do. I'll come back and edit this if/when I remember to.

11) favorite extracurricular activity?

Sex hmmmm swimming, hiking, being goddamn gremlin, I wanna take up target shooting tbh- I think it'd be fun OwO plus I wanna go hunting (I love game meat,,)

I also love my creative hobbies but need to get back into them lmao (drawing, sculpting, print making esp to make patches, cosplay, etc)

So I’m currently in Canada visiting my husband and during my mandatory quarantine we have been working on his Tyrian Callows cosplay. We were racing to get it done before a convention in may, but it got cancelled so now we can slow down and really make it good. I’m really proud of how this tail is coming along and cant wait to see it fully done. It makes me so happy to see my husband so excited with how its coming along

Although I've made the costume before, I'm remaking my Tyrian Callows from RWBY cosplay. Trouble is that the last few times I worked on previous versions of his outfit, the bracers on his arms stop me. There's a single piece that goes over his middle fingers and I can never do it without eventually tearing the fabric or cutting off circulation to my fingers. Any advice for the new version?

I use elastic (sewing elastic/elastic waistband/flat elastic) to make loops. Then I tack it in place with a couple hand stitches. Since it is a strong material it doesn’t usually break and since it stretches, it moves with your hand so it doesn’t cut off circulation. Sometimes, after a lot of wear, the tacking stitches will get loose. I keep a needle and thread in my cosplay-fix-kit in case this happens.
