4. which cryptid being do you believe in?

As someone who has been to the international museum of cryptozoology- actually most of them. I don’t think any of them are supernatural in anyways I think they are just animals we don’t understand yet!

23. how do you feel about chilly weather?

I don’t particularly like chilly but I’ll take being cold over being hot. I don’t mind layering (flannels are my best friend). And my body just cannot deal with heat. Plus I’m super used to chilly up until pretty recently I lived in Ohio so I’m acclimated.

34. is there a song you know every word to by heart?

So many songs. There’s way too much headspace dedicated to song lyrics. I still know all the lyrics to The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny for some ungodly reason.

H. HEY. HEY. i dont wanna LOL JKFLDJKFLDS truth be told i dont actually HATE hate many characters. it's usually only ones that are like. token creep characters or REALLY super nasty and i dont WANNA talk about those so im gonna CHEAT and just do what i suspect im baited into doing and talk about a character i. hmm. Used To Strongly Dislike. i was a hater but i dont know that i ever really FULLY hated him. but i def disliked him for a while at first lol

and in terms of twst there are at least four characters this could be describing but i have to do leona bc ive had the most character development with my feelings about him kljsdklfjdsklfjklsdj

he really is so smart and perceptive. it's super interesting when i go back and reread stories and how he's shown to either directly or maybe heavily implied to know/suspect something that's going on far before most of the other characters do. he doesnt always. say anything about it to people 🧍 JKFLSDJFKLDS but it IS cool how you can see he's like, paying attention. he's got experience!

it's kinda sweet when he actually does, sometimes, show his care for the younger students. like in rook's lab coat story when epel accidentally bumps into him, and the npc talking to rook is like OH GOD!!! but rooks like nono, it's okay, leona knows not to just pick a fight with a random student for no reason. <- me calling it sweet when leona doesnt bitch at someone i guess LOL but!!! jfkdsjflds it is. and then in book 6 at the start when everyones getting ROBOT KIDNAPPED, this goes hand in hand with my first point - leona recognized the charon soldiers, clocked that they were dangerous, fighting was futile and risky, and just surrendered himself and told ruggie to not start a fight and to just look after the dorm while he was gone, if he ever came back. i was sooooo grumpy at that scene for so long bc of how COOL he was and i did not like admitting leona was being cool ever LOL JFKLSJDFKLDSJLJ but he was 😔 ive come to terms with it. AND in the jpn server's halloween event playful land, [mild beginning of event spoilers to anyone reading this i guess lol] the fact that he showed up late at night to bring everyone back so they wouldnt get in themselves trouble.... like he SAID it's bc he just didnt wanna get blamed for it later, but like, iirc he aimed his lecture at the ENTIRE GROUP, not just jack who he's dorm responsible for. he showed up early morning/middle of the night to do it too, when hes the king of I Love Sleeping. he probably coulda sent ruggie to do it but it was his turn to be in the event so he came and did it himself;;; dskfjdlsjfk listen i think leona is pretty straightforward and a bitch but i do think he still has some sense of care for people even though he'd rather die than admit it KFJSDKLFJSELJ

this might be cheating but i listed like three separate examples in the prev point so whatever. he's funny when he fights with vil and malleus JKLFJDSKLFJDSLFJ and i like when characters bitch at each other for comedic purposes. that is a positive point in my book i like LAUGHING at my SCREEN

I'll answer for Durge!Cyrus, since he is most on my mind right now.

21. What common etiquette do they disagree with? Do they still follow it?

Yiseeril- she thinks most social niceties are arbitrary and should be either used or ignored to get what she wants, depending on the circumstances; and if she has the opportunity to break etiquette and laugh at/humiliate someone, especially a (non-divine) authority figure, she'll take it in a heartbeat, even if it makes things worse (much to Minthara's noble chagrin)

Cyrus- sitting still sucks ass and if he doesn't rock a little bit/fidget/pace he'll die

29. How do they respond when someone doesn’t believe them?

Yiseeril- She has +14 persuasion/deception, it's VERY rare to meet someone who doesn't believe her lmao

Cyrus- Cyrus wears his heart on his sleeve, so someone not believing him is frustrating at best and devastating at worse, esp in situations where he needs someone to trust him for their own safety (i.e., trying to tell everyone about the Dark Urge at the beginning of the game)

56. If they’re scared, who do they want comfort from? Does this answer change depending on the type of fear?

Yiseeril- For Yiseeril, refuge from fear comes not from an person but from her own power (she and Astarion are toxic besties for a reason!). Exploded & drowned? Forsake your god and remake yourself as a warlock-paladin. Might lose her mind again once the Absolute is defeated and the parasite that was holding back unfathomable tides of divine knowledge is gone? Become a mindflayer. Still too much outside of her control? Take over the world and become a goddess!

.....But in a timeline where that impulse slips, Shadowheart. Unequivocally. Especially come Act 3, after Yiseeril has helped Shadowheart through her crisis of faith, Shadowheart wants to do the same for her, helping her work through her relationship with Oghma that she's otherwise refused to process.

Cyrus- Durge!Cyrus is so scared so much of the time but so very very rarely seeks out comfort for it from others. Compared to other versions of Cyrus, he has an easier time letting others take care of his physical form (letting Halsin tend to his wounds & help him trance, letting Astarion clean him up after battle & feed from him, letting Wyll braid & unbraid his hair) because he fucks himself up in battle precisely to try to keep himself from hurting them.

But emotional care? Everyone else has more important things to worry about, and besides, who would want to comfort a monster like him?

I think this might be starting to change for him in Act 2. Sceleritas visiting him again + the arrival at a place steeped with forgotten memories has rattled Cyrus badly, and with Astarion's confession after Araj, they're both really trying to be more honest & vulnerable with one another. Whether they're succeeding is another matter entirely, but Cyrus can't hide how terrified he is of what he might find out about himself. For all of the distance and dissonance Astarion has put between himself and the people he "killed" on Cazador's orders, it's a sentiment he can sympathize with.

Of course, we'll have to check in on Cyrus again after he tries to kill Wyll...

I have a fic idea that I really want to read!! I don't really know it really fits your style but I thought I'd share it anyways so here we go.

- Infinity war AU where when Tony sent Peter down to Earth, instead of following him to space Peter actually went back down

- Maybe one where there has been a bit longer since Homecoming than in canon? I just think that it might work better with slightly aged up characters. Rhodey's POV where he and Peter know eachother pretty well.

- Peter meets up with Rhodey and tells him about what he saw. The Avengers come in. Peter is presented as Spider-man.

- Everything might go wrong so they need to know they have someone left to protect the people if something happens to them and who is better for that than Peter, right? Also, Tony would absolutely kill all of them is something happened to the kid on their watch. So obviously, Rhodey tries to bench Peter, who is very much not happy about it.

- Rhodey tells Peter that Tony would want Peter to be safe and Peter is like: "I live in New York do you really think that I'm safer home than in here" and "He'd want me to help people and I can't do that if all of us are dead"

- Peter sees that the Rogues' battle things are absolutely wrecked and says "I'm good with tech. I can fix things, let me fix something" which leads to everyone else in the room having huge flashbacks because literally who is this kid.

- Peter fixes Redwing!! And channels major Tony Stark energy that leaves the other in shock.

- What I like about this is how The Captain America is in the room and Peter asks permission from Rhodey.

- Maybe we see in the end how Tony and Stephen come back to Earth instead of leaving to Titan. That would have possibilites for a longer fic too.

(I've always wanted to read these kinds of AUs because for me one of the main reasons why the Avengers lost was because they weren't together. Yk, the power of friendship and all.)
