I’ve been seeing some discourse around twitter about the blue lock boys and whether they’d be a loyal bf or not 😭 Curious to know who do you think would be more inclined to cheat or who just wouldn’t at all!!!

I saw someone say sae would 100% cheat like whattt I feel like he wouldn’t even bother looking at anyone else if he already has someone (Cuz I mean dating him would likely mean you actually mean something to him) but I digress

ok anon you had me pulling up a whole argumentative essay here cus WHO TF SAID SAE WOULD 100% CHEAT??? 😔 that mischaracterization is so painfully inaccurate. twitter really took the whole emotionally unavailable itoshi archetype and ran with it. let me just clear the air here because my man deserves some explanation.

sae itoshi would not cheat. as in capital N and capital O. he took nearly an entire decade off his life just to work on his own issues and finally form a functional and healthy relationship with another human being. and you're telling me he's just going to let all that wash down the drain for someone else? 😒 twitter logic really be showing its illogical side here. apparently a man can be loyal to a professional sports career for eighteen years, but he can't be loyal to his significant other.

i think this misunderstanding probably happened cus of shidou. people read the manga and saw that sae dropped rin for a bug-eyed freak and automatically assumed he was disloyal. 😑 let me just say two things here:

(1) sae and shidou's relationship is strictly professional. imagine being stuck in an god awful corporate office with coworkers who bore you with their weaponized incompetence and a boss who annoys the living shit out of you. and then one day, the company hires a new recruit who is probably the most unhinged and debauched creature known to man. you're probably left wondering how he even got hired in the first place. but then you find out...he's useful. he takes risks and gets a high return on what he invests. it's impulsive and stupid, really. but at least it's unconventional and outside-the-box. he has your interest piqued. that's basically sae and shidou in a nutshell.

(2) just because sae gave shidou his number after the u-20 game does NOT mean he would do the same to any other person who would try to encroach on your relationship. and let's be real here. sae would get one text from shidou and block his contact.

anyways, here is my analysis on the bllk boys in general. introducing the anti-cheating to pro-cheating spectrum:

(A) cannot cheat under any circumstance (as in they already hate the fact that they live on a planet with 8.1 billion other people who are not you):

itoshi brothers (atp they don't even have the physical or mental capacity to entertain a third party), ness, reo

(B) cannot cheat due to physical incapability (literally cannot pull anyone within a five-meter radius to cheat with):

ego, igarashi, raichi, bachira (not that he's in any way unattractive...it's just...i feel like he would purposefully act weird to drive off people who aren't you)

(C) could not cheat (basically option A and B but less problematic version)

yukimiya, barou, kunigami, noa, loki, gagamaru, chigiri, niko, hiori, karasu (baby boy literally felt inferior cus his crush was the cutest in his class), kurona (head empty, just you)

(D) would not cheat (on you but everyone else is not included)

isagi (unintentionally a homewrecker to others but would never let anyone homewreck his relationship with you), leonardo (idk why but i just don't trust him entirely)

(E) could cheat (depends on what they get out of it):

kaiser, shidou (honestly what did you expect when you willingly dated a blonde man...)

(F) would cheat (either proven by canon or they accidentally fucked up somehow):

s*mb*cky in retrospect is such a mistake like the one(1) comic everyone clings onto being 😑😒 aside, this pairing (and ship) being shoved together bcuz of fans liking... those 😐🫤actors cracking jokes that are often... weird🙃, just puts a bad taste to it.

But aside from that it'd be one thing if the projects that paired them together were one and done, but no it created a fandom that expects them together and now we get unironic viral tweets about marvel downfall if bucky isn't in the next cap movie, even tho he shouldn't even be required for a cap movie bcuz his character origins have him textually say that he doesn't care for the persona of cap and only shows up in steve's stories bcuz of his connection to him, so he shouldn't even appear in the discussion in the first place and yet

but on top that, then the projects that pair them together also created a mob of samcap vs buckycap (and stevecap) dudebros that complain abt sam not having any powers and bucky going from supersoldier who singlehandedly beat up steve and co in wintersoldier to just a sidekick for a nonpowered sam, which is the worst bcuz i can't even argue fully against that bcuz why did marvel (mis)write Bucky as depowered team muscle filler and also (mis)write him as the "ex evil bad one" and completely miss the point of the wintersoldier and undo the chance for resolution to that plotline

but that's the whole thing with shoving them into a project together for those fans, every discussion becomes v loud and onesided with just a very flat gesturing towards the other side, and that's not even going into how much of the shipperfans are into [redacted] which rlly hammers the point home, so yeah it just leaves an awful aftertaste seeing the aftermath of making a project with them together

i think i went rly hard in august. august was really a turning point for me this year too i think, so maybe my art reflected that haha, but anyhow. i really love these

everyone and their mom has done a religious jakurai art, but i wanted to do one too... the detail i rly like is the blood on his hands. because i like to headcanon that jakurai has vitiligo on his hands. i like how i incorporated that hc in this without making it too busy lol

I'VE BEEN MEANING TO DO AN IBERIA AU FOR JAKUDO FOR SO LONG... probably as long as the koibito AU for hifugen, but i just haven't been able to put it into words... i'm glad i could at least do a bit of this year, and i hope one day i can manage the whole concept!! also this idea's been in my head for so long that arb managed to reveal demon designs for both jakurai and doppo, sparing me the effort of designing them myself FSJKJKKJH

this one is also a set, so i wanted to post them together hehe again this is based off a horror rpg concept me and gianna came up together back in high school that will probably never see the light of day lol this probably doesn't surprise anyone who knows us, but these characters are based on us FKJSKJH

wah... i think my artist wrapped really covers what i have to say! quantity-wise, i'm not too happy with how much i made... it can't really be helped considering how busy and tiresome it's been this year, and i really wish i could say i can do more next year, but it's likely i'll be posting less and less in the future TwT but as much as possible, i'd still like to share my work! i think this might be my time to start focusing on original stuff, but i still wanna do fandom related stuff because there's still a lot of ideas and concepts i wanna see realized!! also i just love my fandom blorbos a lot lol, so i'll find ways to do things for them >w<

quality-wise though, i think i'm pretty pleased! last year i got csp, so i was still figuring it out, but now i think i got a better hang of it! and that means my art looks more confident i think haha. of course, there's still a lot of room for improvement, but it's nice that i can look at my stuff and go "yeah i like this!" i'm excited to see where my artistic journey goes from here!!

but yeah, maybe it wasn't a plentiful year for me re: art, but i made some pretty nice stuff despite that! thank you all for the support, and here's to next year!!

Matt reveals a secret to Roberta (via perchance Mini Scenario Generator)

Caitlin invites Roberta to a sleepover at her Alberta villa with the rest of her Slumber Posse, with Matt as their bouncer throwing any wildlife or riffraff comin’ to crash their party. Robbie hopes her Gargoyle side doesn’t show shud the sun mark he painted on her back gets smudged.

While Cait’s Crew partook in Freaky Stories and shlock movies for the long night, Roberta looks for Matt to reapply the sun mark. She lookd for him in the bathroom doing his business, but sees the tang coyote had snuck off to the kitchen, chugging a whole carton of milk from the fridge. The long-footed Blue-Grey Pinscher jumped on Matt, tweaking him to spit out the 1/4 pint in his muzzle back to the carton. He closed the lid and zipped the carton back in the fridge as he lied flat in defeat, his ears drooped down, pouted in shame as Robbie stone glares him. When he was free, Matt dropped on fours, bashful, facing away from Berta’s glare when she inquired of his midnite snack.

“😠Think you can save a few pints for the sleepover Facials!? 😓 And maybe a fresh Sun glyph on my back? We don’t want Cait and her clique to live out a B-Movie when my stony self kicks in!”

“Uh, sorry.” Matt apologized, but couldn’t stop musing over the drops that touched his tongue in silence as he applied the mark with his kekaishi paints on Roberta’s shoulder. “🤤Minnesota. Fine grown feed. Age 15.”

Robbie darted to Matt, whisping her query while still inking a fresh mark. “😑 Oh great, just wut I need, a milk sommolier. As if you got all that from the swill you just spat back into the jug. 🤔Although, I heard one of Cait’s guests gossip about a milkmaid by the shed. Guess that’s how this estate gets fresh dairy w/o going to a Winn-Dixie. btw, how did you know she was some Fargo Teen? You’d have to be close and personal to their udder and not get kicked back before milking.”

Embarrassed, Matt leared over her ear to share his secret cow whispering prowess, covering with his front paw so the sleepover guests don’t read him four steps away from the main hall.

“😖I always drank straight from the source. 😓For 6 years I’ve tasted and milked every maid that ever lived & come across for a taste of the good stuff, tho I did have to do them favors before they let me squeeze their udders!”

“😰You had milk from every cow in N’Gaia?”

“😞And other cloppy toed ladies. Yaks, Llamas, Moosies, even Goat’s milk. Bit sour goin’ in and out.”

“Do you crawl under their udders and pull them down ur gap when they’re asleep if they didn’t let you?”

“Naw, dat wud b Bad Boi Ed. A Good Boi asks if they need help with chores round their house or run errands. The Deed’s done, and they spritz me a cup or get on all fours n I squeeze a bucket full out back or in a private stable…or down the hatch, like u said. They don’t like it, but forgive me they do, big ol puppy dog Matt here.” Just as the inquiry finished, so was Matt’s seal for Robbie’s grotesque change, and she was ready to come back for the makeover part of Cait’s party.

“Yeah, you’re older and taller than any dog I’ve met, mixed or purebred. And, btw, Caitlin’s Slumber Posse ain’t gonna like a frickin’ kai-oat (coyote) raiding her kitchen of her guests’ snacks and DIY facial mask ingredients.”

“I’m housebroken, and don’t tell her, please! I didn’t spill ur rocky heritage to her or her would-be pals, and I don’t want them thinkin’ I’m some dairy vampire about to suck the Milkmaid dry.”

“Long as Spin the Bottle or Truth or Dare aren’t on the list, we’re In for now.” “Dewclaw swear it?”

“😨😞*sigh* 😒yeah, I Dewclaw swear.” ☺️ Robbie & Matt return to the Middle room where Cait and pals are finishing the movie-thon, none wiser of the kicthen incident.

Man... Nothing reminds me more of how much capitalism sucks ass than when going for surgery so I can WALK PROPERLY and instead of the hospital's home care providing me the equipment I need post op, the surgeons office was going to basically extort me for money AFTER THE SURGERY to have said piece of equipment. I'm on disability and work part time.. Bold of yall to assume I just have extra money laying everywhere for the gas to get places and then be FORCED TO PAY TO RENT NECESSARY EQUIPMENT becsuse u refuse to direct bill my provincially provided insurance... Like wtf.. Money is tight as is, and I have bigger shit to worry about right now like trying to recover from surgery fast enough to make sure I see my Gran before she dies. Ffs.. Capitalism sucks and being disabled is a Fucking curse I wouldn't wish on anyone #disabledindividual #medicalextortion #Ialdeadycantafforstomeoff #fml
