yes i doooooo!!!!

hm i mean for starters we've the same personality type and i tend to interact with the world very similarly. he's like gojo to me in the sense that the way i relate to him is a bit difficult for me to talk about since it's something i don't particularly think about bc sometimes it causes an identity crisis LMFAO /lh

but i relate very heavily to the way howl wears a mask of composure while hiding the fact that he still, in a way, feels like a child. he's immature but is always acting like he's mature and he has difficulting showing his real self. howl is constantly running from his regrets as well as his mistakes and tends to take things a little too far. i do a lot of those things as well.

he's also someone who is very confident in what he can do, is used to excelling in those things, and then becomes very upset when it doesn't go his way (ie; failing at a task). i'm very VERY similar, as i set high standards for myself when it comes to the things i'm good at and become disproportionally disappointed when they don't pan out as i thought they would. this also extends to my looks, which is a vain thing to say, but it's true (ie; my personal journey with self love, loathing, and obsession).

howl also has an eye for the dramatic and he likes to be the center of attention, but only when he's wearing the mask / when it suits him. idk i just... i see a lot of myself in his behavior, especially when it comes to his sense of grandiose as well as the way he as a character has to learn about what it means to let someone else in.

this makes me sound like such a terrible person LMFAO i promise I'm not awful. or at least i try not to be LOL. howl (like gojo) is just someone i see a lot of my flaws in, as well as certain things i rly like abt myself.

also i, like him, am very hot and sexy.

Hiii! It’s Momo hereeee, how are you all doing?? Okay, so, let’s just say last TOH chapter made me SADASFUCK and as a Hunter lover/kinnie, I wanted to write a little about him These may have spelling errors and make no sense in general, please, be patient with me. I haven’t write anything in a long time, and English isn’t my first language! Okay, off we gooo ~

✩ Having Hunter as your boyfriend was truly something. It was like having two boyfriends with one same body, and it all depended if you were hanging out with “Hunter”, or “The Golden Guard”.

✩ With The Golden Guard, you would see him as someone dominant, wary, and, to others, even a little cold and harsh. He has a reputation to maintain, and he can’t allow himself to change too much when he’s with you around.

✩ However, you both knew that was just a half-truth. Sure, he did his best to keep acting all mighty and efficient, but that wouldn’t last long.

✩ While on a mission, you both would work on completely different things a second, and the next he would be all over you.

✩ Really, it was funny for the recruits; when they least expect it, he stopped bossing them around to just be closer to you, talking about anything while touching you somewhere (not in a kinky way, of course, more like a hand around your waist, or simply taking your hand).

✩ Damn them if they dared to speak to either of you once he decided to be alongside you.

✩ “Um, Golden guard-“ “What do you want?” “Uh… We can’t pass this trap here and-“ “Then find a way to do it. Can’t you see I’m busy here?”

✩ But do not expect that he will act the same way if he’s around a coven leader, Kikimora, or worse, Belos himself. Even if it hurt him, he would treat you as harshly as the other recruits, being the Golden Guard everyone knew.

✩ Dates would be kept short, if they happened at all, as he had a busy schedule. Being the right hand of the Emperor was not an easy job, sadly.

✩ Also, he would be a bit of a flirt; if he fell, he will take the opportunity to pose and say something as stupid as “seems like I fell for you, Y/N”. If you complimented him in any way, he would be a bit cocky, or easily say something nice back.

✩ “Oh, I already know I’m great, thank you for repeating that anyway”

✩ “Yes, my uniform looks great, but I believe you look better on yours” “Hunter, sweetie, all the recruits wear the same uniform…” “…well, yours look cooler anyway”

✩ Hunter was tender and warmer. You could never have enough of those gorgeous magenta eyes, or his cute gap tooth, or his little rebel hair, or…

✩ Well, anything really. For you, Hunter was the most beautiful person in the whole Boiling Isles.

✩ Likes to cuddle as much as you both can, and will take the chance to show you he loves you so, so much. And by that, I mean lots of hugs, kisses and words of affirmation.

✩ Remember I said that if he was around someone important he would treat you like if you were another simple recruit? Well, he will apologize so, so much. No matter how many times you tell him it’s fine, he won’t let go. He truly feels bad about it.

✩ Dates will be either big or simple. No in-between.

✩ Taking you to a classy restaurant (he can afford it, after all), on a short trip, or little dates on the library, maybe just hang around in his room (he likes his room best because that way he can hug you to his heart joy).

✩ Really, he just wants to spend time with you :)

✩ Never, NEVER forgets a special day. Anniversary? He’s been planning that since the last one. Your birthday? He has your gift and a secret date for you both on the way. Heck, he will even remember dumb things like “every Saturday, it’s burgers day”.

✩ Either as The Golden Guard or as Hunter, he will be possessive and jealous.

✩ Not in a toxic way, but rather in a sad way. He has some self-esteem issues, so he’s afraid you might find someone better than him. He might or might not sulk around whenever he’s feeling especially jealous, and, as the Golden Guard, he can be a little bit harsher than usual.

✩ This boy lost so much, he can’t afford to lose you too :(

✩Overall, no matter if he has his mask or not on, this boy loves you too much, please shower him with even more love!

It seemed sooner or later, Osamu Dazai ruined things. It was just what he did. Somehow, someway, he would find a way to ruin a good thing for himself; and maybe he deserved it. Maybe all he deserved was the relief of finally feeling safe before he went and wrecked it all. He was a hurricane on a leash. Now it seemed he had drowned you.

You had been broken once, like him. Perhaps you still were, just like him. But you had found one another somewhere amidst the darkness of the city you both seemed to roam, two pairs of glowing eyes meeting across an inky street. You had walked till dawn that night, then again and again until you realized you were falling in love. You followed each other from desolation on the edges of a thousand buildings, reaching for the horizon as though wishing you could hold it in your hands would be enough to fold it up pretty like a paper swan and place it in your palm. Because of you, he had had somewhere to go when he had vanished from the world. Because of him, you had found the agency. You still flirted back and forth like the kisses you threw back and forth meant nothing despite every graze of his skin against yours meaning everything. He was everything; you were more. Everyone else was simply looking in on color and light exploding from you, fireworks flaring up, sparks searing the air whenever you were close. You had found each other. And you loved each other.

He was hoping you still loved him after this.

The still raw memory of your face, your eyes widening after what he had said cut deep and hard; he had promised you once he would never make you feel that way- stupid promise for him to make; he already knew he was destined to loose you from the day he'd realized how far he'd fallen. But maybe he had deluded himself again, tricked himself into thinking maybe you could be the good thing that didn't decay. That maybe, despite all he'd done, all he was and had been, you could be someone who stayed. And now he was walking the streets alone like he had so long ago, before you had known him and far before he'd ever had the chance to hurt you at all, because no matter how hard he wished it wasn't true, he had hurt you. The eerie quiet swallowed him more and more the further he ventured from the glowing windows of the agency where the others watched his retreat. In the door, Atsushi watched, halfway to following Dazai but choosing not to. There was nothing he could do for either of you.

So Dazai walked, the scent of sweet wine and smoke following him, seeping out into the air in tendrils, the low whispers of water growing nearer the closer he got to the bay.

And there you were.

Sitting on a dock, feet bare and just barely touching the dark surface of the lapping water. Your jacket was off, your hair was messy; the night cast your skin in silver until you glowed like the full moon, who illuminated the shinning patterns your tears had left behind on your wind-kissed cheeks.

You didn't turn as he walked up to you; you barely moved as he sat beside you, your eyes still gazing off to nothing as he struggled to find a way to get you to see him.

"I'm sorry."

It was all he could say, really. There were no other words for the way he felt now; no other words for the cold remorse he so rarely felt. And you said nothing. Still and quiet, the only movement in the silhouette of your strong body the slight fluttering of your hair in the breeze and the smooth lowering of your eye as they closed. You stayed that way, all silver and breaths that sent clouds of smoke billowing from your lips as you released them.

"You're like me, Dazai. You know that. And people like us...well, we hurt people. It's just how it goes." Still, you did not look at him. And you didn't need to; the cold honesty in your voice the almost bitter detachment- it hurt without seeing the look in your eyes.

"That doesn't change the fact that I regret ever saying it. It doesn't matter if we were made to hurt people; not now. What matters is even if I hurt you, even if I've ruined us this time, I will always regret it.

Maybe we can't help but hurt people. That doesn't mean we enjoy it. It doesn't mean I enjoy it. Especially not when it comes to you." You didn't pull away when you felt the smoothness of his palm on the back of your hand. It meant everything in the world that still, you did not move an inch. Not towards him, but not away either. And you were both quiet for a moment there. You were silent and beside each other, the world just as reverent to your rapt vigil over the bay while your mind warred with itself.

When you turned to him, it felt like the world stopped; the breeze stilled, the waves murmur faded into the background of awareness; everything was washed out, colorless, gilded in liquid silver save for the darkening glitter of your eyes. Those eyes he loved, that he could drown and be safe forever. They were finally on him.

"I know you, Osamu. I have for longer than most who are still alive. And I love you; I'm doomed to love you. I've accepted that means you may hurt me and I don't fault you if you do. We're learning how to do this together, you and I."

The way his arms found their way around you then was every apology he couldn't say. Forgiveness was the way you let your head fall against his chest, the rhythm of his heart beating thudding gently against your ear as you lifted his fingers to press gently against your neck. You found your breath slowing, your eyes closing as the warmth of him enveloped you, your own pulse matching his after a time.

ok so like. yeah the thing about this ship 2 me is it NEEDS the angst. like my favorite thing abt the ship is how fucked up it is i love that regulus is extremely morally ambiguous and drags james who tries so hard to cling to his moral compass into that. like 2 me it is one of the most interesting ships to explore james's flaws as a character in that his personal loyalty can really blind him to the bigger picture around him. and also the fact that like...he can be a bit of a bully like truly i think when james cares about someone he can be the nicest person in the universe but he also gets these blinders on and just crashes around and smashes into people if he isn't being careful and regulus encourages that!! and of course i love all the opportunity in jegulus fics to explore the fucked-up relationship dynamic between regulus + sirius + the effect that has on both their relationships w james and each other. like my love for jegulus has...less to do with regulus himself i think and more to do with his character as a vehicle for exploring incredibly angsty stories lmao

buckle up! so i mean looking above OBVIOUSLY i want jegulus to be pretty unhealthy + fucked up in most scenarios like i like the ship bc of the way these two characters highlight each others flaws so i am sorry but i cannot STAND the uwuification of jegulus. i feel like so much of the jegulus fandom is very soft and fluffy because regulus has just become the character that all u kinnies project onto which...well i mean i have already written an essay on why i think that happened so i will not go on lol. but YEAH regulus is kind of evil to me SORRY and james is a bit of a cunt too and i think they make each other a bit worse in many ways.
