Is there anybody else who’s in a similar place as me??

I’ve been engrossed in the Palestinian genocide for as long as it’s been going on. I know the level with which I’m invested is a little intense but even still this is a very horrific historic world altering event. I’ve been reducing my doom scrolling but I’ve no real outlet for all the emotions I’ve been feeling about this situation. Not just from the genocide itself, but from the truly remarkable way our governments so culpable and complicit. From the rise in McCarthyism and fascism. From the fact that the average person is probably so disinterested or neutral on the situation. Or that if they hear anything it’s from mainstream news and we all know where their bias lays.

There’s just an oppressive air that feels so thick it’s hard not to be bogged down by it. It’s hard to know who you can even reach out too to talk about these things

Well anyway i was in a situation where it came up and I just immediately boiled over with strong emotion and I just stormed out because I knew it would be best to separate myself and now my family thinks I’m off the deep end. Or at least it seems. I don’t think I’ve been able to like process everything. And I’ve been wanting someone this whole time who is on the same page so I don’t feel this way. There are some people actually and I intend to reach out more.

But is there anyone else with these big emotions? Has anyone else been made to feel like their crazy for having them?
