I think the strongest form of next Ultraman for year 2024 will be debut in movie and Ultra Galaxy Fight, instead of debut in mid episode.
Can't say much for the movie since as I've went through, movies are getting less and less exciting every year.
Z didn't had a movie (exception cause of covid)
Trigger had no new forms + GE was clearly able to easily take out the movie threat, they didnt even had the need to even bring out Truth
Decker had no crossovers, introduced a defunct form and didn't even resort to Dynamic Type, dude clowned the movie boss just in his base Flash Type form lmao
(But of course the origin of Dinus and Decker is a major contribution to the Ultra lore in general, I'm just phrasing the movie this way for comparison purposes in this light only)
Blazar looks to have no crossovers + no new forms even
So from the downwards trend, really not looking forward to see what they'll do (or NOT do) for Arc's Movie
UGF seems to be the answer tbh as I've also went through before, every UGF installment introduces some new form of Zero + a new strongest form for Reiwa Ultras
UGF1:
Zero Beyond (Galaxy Glitter): a temporary, superpowered state but I guess its "technically" a form??? Same concept as Glitter Tiga
Also Ginga got back his access to Ginga Storium from this point on
UGF2: US Zero + Taiga TS Rainbow
UGF3: US Zero (now stronger due to using WB as base) + Deathcium RC
So for UGF4, we can roughly predict what's gonna happen. Recall I shared that the NG's designer posted about a "new form" for Zero which looked very similar to Saga for Zero's 15th Anniversary.
Considering that even the US Zero (WB base) didn't really even do much to AT, TsuPro has to give Zero even more handouts to try and continuously hype up the "rivalry" between the 2.
And looking at the trend of Reiwa Ultras getting new strongest forms, Trigger should be next in line to get an upgrade form. Which tbh its pretty obvious what would be the concept of said form. Recall Trigger Truth was fused by simply imbuing Multi-Type's Key with Trigger Dark's, back in 2021, I alr stated that an obvious upgrade would be to do the same process, but simply replace Multi with the GE Key. And in turn, basically get a GE version of Truth
Following this trend, Decker would get his own strongest form in UGF5, which ngl, I have no idea what it could be since there's not much basis to go off of, so it has to be something totally new but tbh, I think Dyna revealing his own version of Dynamic Type seems more likely that Decker receiving a new form since its just kinda weird that the parent Ultra dosent have (or has yet to reveal) his own version of Dynamic Type when his "child" has
Blazar is actually even more obvious that those above, cause clearly he's an experienced monster hunter as what Taguchi said, and wouldn't be surprised if Firdran Dragon isn't his only kaiju companion. As I've also stated last year, there's clear routes for further development for Blazar's upper limit since he could perhaps fuse with other kaiju companions or even fuse with multiple kaiju companions.
So for Arc as u mentioned, I mean that eventually is gonna happen at some point I suppose?
Assuming there isn't any breaks like the Regulus prequel/sequel, the earliest we'd get a new strongest form for Arc would be in 2027 or sth for UGF7 lol
As for the movie as said, don't really see that happening as long as there isn't any changes to the downward trend rn

Addressing questions about announced projects from Tsubucon
So I've understandably been asked by many about the lack of UGF4 (mainly) announcements from Tsubucon since its 2-day run has ended
Which ngl, while even I was expecting it personally (blinded by hype and because I totally did not expect TsuPro to come up with so many tangential projects), I did some more digging to estimate when should we be hearing about at least the first news about UGF4
Comparing with last year and assuming the timeline of releases would be the same, since the Blazar Movie is stated to be released in 23rd Feb 2024, exactly the same date as the Decker Movie in 2023, recall that the first actual trailer we got for the Regulus series was on 27th April 2023 (I don't think we should count the Aug 2022 one cause that was coming fresh out of UGF3 then)
So realistically speaking, we should probably more reasonably expect to actually hear something about UGF4 in April 2024 rather than now since the main lineup has alr been announced for Tsubucon
And there's no doubt that there'll be a UGF4 for those that were asking as well, since they literally had a "To be continued" in the post credits scene of Regulus First Mission lol
As for the 2nd most asked installment, specifically the Shinverse continuation with either ShinU 2 or ShinSeven, the leaked timeline did point out that it's either gonna be released in 2024/25 so tbh it looks like it's slated for a release in 2025 (which im personally fine with since Anno has really been working very hard that its concerning, he deserves a longer break tbh), which means that we would most likely first hear about it somewhere mid-late 2024, Anno's involvement in Tsubucon this year could be interpreted as a foreshadowing
Which puts it in a similar situation to the leaked planned China Ultraman Movie that's also slated to be released in 2025 if yall recall the recent document leak as well, we also didn't hear anything about it at Tsubucon
As for everything else such as Marvel Comics continuation, Netflix Suitverse Novel adaptation etc, ngl I alr classified those possibilities as less likely than the above major ones so we can only assume that they don't plan on making those happen yet at least
But hell, I did predict a DH Anime on this blog prior lol, that one was truly out of left field as expected
Update: A continuation of the Marvel Comics series has been confirmed for 2024 during Tsubucon, details TBC tho

Similar to Ultraman Zero, what would think if the next Ultra Galaxy Fight miniseries has Ultraman Leo getting a new form based on his prototype suit?
That would be kinda random ngl, while it is gonna be his 50th anniversary in 2024, Regulus seems to have taken his place and hes essentially the "New Gen Leo" rn
So if anything, and I did expand upon this before, that Regulus instead would get an upgrade form after he actually manages to totally master all the Cosmo Beast Styles (including the Buffalo Fist which would most likely be Diablo and Regulus' resolution since the latter has already stated that he has already took revenge in UGF3 when Diablo first died)
Otherwise, as Ive stated before that other than Taro [Potential Unleashed by Ultimate Blade] (and potentially Seven [Seven X]), I really dont see any Ultra Brothers getting an upgrade form since itll sort of "disturb" the image of the OGs
Thanks for the question!

Takaya Aoyagi foreshadowing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So for those that don't know already, in light of ep 16 of New Gen Stars, JJ's Actor posted something interesting recently which states:
Why wasn't Juggler chosen to be Ultraman?
Why is he able to transform? (into his majin form)
All these questions would be answered soon
Sounds like a JJ spin off foreshadowing tbh
Which is greatly overdue, specifically the restructuring of the O50 lore
By my theory as posted before, considering that we saw Grigio was able to attain her own ultra form, this suggests that beings that obtained the power of Darkness from the VoL would one day attain their own ultra form, tho the prerequisites for so is still quite unclear as of now
Specifically to answer both questions, it either have to do with something with his own past or race (assuming Gai and JJ are both different races)
But this is rather curious since I don't think there's space for a spin off until at least 2025 since UGF4 is most likely gonna happen next year
Unless of course this is just gonna be like 2-3 eps worth of content only like with Regulus First Mission
Honestly hope the JJ spin off ends with him actually resolving whatever was holding back his "right" to be an Ultra and actually being able to access his own, unique Ultra form

So, you know how the Beliarok is basically a weapon themed after Belial and all? Well, what kind of weapon that was the same as the Beliarok be if it were Ultraman Tregear instead? Like what kind of weapon would it be and what could it do? Also how do you think it would behave and all?
I think this boils back down to the very convenient weaknesses that Greeza has that I talked about extensively back when Z was airing that it all has to do with Reiblood's Reionyx genes (and by extension, the Belial Virus) having some very, very unique properties to merge with a spacetime anomaly's failsafe device to form the Beliarok
I cant comment beyond this since we just simply dk enough about Reiblood at this point
For Toregia, your implicit assumption is that Grimude's power would even interact with the key in the same way the reionyx genes would
Again, no idea as all we know is that Grimude predates the M78 Universe, and the reason for his seal is curiously enough the same reason why Greeza manifested back in Z when Bullton was defeated, to "maintain balance in the universe". Note the similar choice of words used here. In the broader context, we can interpret that both Greeza and Grimude probably live in the space in between universes, which we know exists in the Revenge of Belial Movie
So there would probably be some reaction between Grimude's power and Greeza's key
Tho i highly doubt itll result in something like the Belialrok
But tbh, even the Belialrok's existence is highly ambiguous at this point, since it has free will and we've seen that it is attracted to its progenitors like Geed and Belial, but its inevitably a Reionyx. Why am I saying this is because we know from the leaks that the Regulus special episode (essentially the prelude for UGF4), Reiblood has returned and theoretically, even as a small soul fragment, he should be able to assert enough influence on it same with Geed actually (which is why I said that Geed is actually a ticking time bomb since Reiblood is such a legendary existence)
So I suppose the same logic would apply with this hypothetical Toregiarok. However, Ill have to bring up another point about Grimude thatll differ from Reiblood's circumstance, is that based on the Toregia novel (that is canon), its said that after absorbing some of Grimude's power, Toregia literally gained the ability to be unkillable,
Since every time he dies, another version of him in the multiverse would take his place in whatever universe hes in. So I suspect that this is the same as Grimude. However, for his ability to be this ridiculously overpowered, I suspect that the Grimude we saw itself in the Taiga movie was also but a fragment of something even more grander, similar to the Reiblood soul fragment logic
Tbh, whatever this being is would have to be stronger than Reiblood since we know just how powerful a soul fragment of Reiblood is based on the feats and durability of the one we saw back in NEO and obviously we can see that fragment Grimude is far stronger than fragment Reiblood (assuming each soul fragment is equally powerful of course)
Another point ill have to bring up is that Reiblood is stated dead (as ambiguous and suspicious as that canon statement is since no one knows how he died), but the whereabouts of the being that Grimude is a fragment of is unknown.
So how does all this really translate to your question?
It inevitably comes down to whether it can really have its own free will or nah.
Since for the Beliarok's case, Reiblood is dead, and it was made from Geed's Reionyx genes (Without any of Reiblood's soul fragments) so Reiblood's influence is so diluted by the time it gets to the formation of the Belialrok
For the hypothetical Toregiarok's case, Grimude is obviously far more powerful than Reiblood's soul fragment (im NOT saying Reiblood himself btw) and the true progenitor of Grimude is unknown at this point, but since a fragment is alr so ridiculously powerful, I suspect its still somewhere cruising in the gaps between universes.
By extension, Im scaling this "True Grimude" above Reiblood, especially since the latter was scaled as a Universal Threat whilst Grimude himself predated the universe, so it wont be far fetched to say that Grimude himself was a universal threat, especially since his sealing was neccessary to "maintain the balance of the universe", by extrapolation, True Grimude would probably be a multi-universal threat at least if we go off the scaling of Reiblood's soul fragment to Reiblood's stated feats
Thus, imo itll be far more powerful than the Belialrok, with far more influence over spacetime such as what we saw with Grimude and Toregia, but on a lesser scale. But as said, assuming the progenitor is still alive, no idea to what extent itll have a will of its own, or simply another Grimude
Ye this answer got off the rails real quick since all this is very much deep-cut, bottom-of-the-iceberg stuff, especially since we're talking about something even older than universes, potentially even older than the DoL which I scaled approximately 10^9000x stronger than an average New Gen so inevitably we're talking about existences that are far, far beyond the Legendary Ultras
Thanks for the question!

Special Episode announced, Ultraman Regulus: First Mission
Tumblr media
Note that this is just an episode of 18 minutes only, seperate from the Regulus prequel series
Based on the synopsis, this would essentially be about Ribut finally finding his way back
TsuPro literally had to carve out a whole ass episode to bring Ribut back lmao
But at least this shows that they're taking canon seriously
Tho I don't think we ever had something like this before, literally an unrelated episode outta nowhere, but obviously not complaining here. Definitely up for more content of the featured ultras

Potentially major leaks for New Gen Gaia series + Chronicle Rumors
Sources imply that Taguchi would be directing the New Gen Gaia series as the staff department in China has apparently said that he's gathering the old cast of Gaia rn, this was apparently from a recent press conference
This might potentially mean that the New Gen Gaia series might be a sequel to the Gaia series, which if yall recall, Ginga was originally planned to be a sequel to Gaia as well with Gamu being a professor at the University that Hikaru was meant to be attending at
And why did I mention Ginga outta nowhere? Because next year is also Ginga's 10th Anniversary (it's all coming together now)
So yeah, they're literally reusing scrapped concepts, which I'm definitely all for this particular one
Also the first 2 merch for Gaia content in the next Chronicle has been revealed to be Super COV and Gan Q in the same press conference, so that's the confirmation that the next series is indeed New Gen Gaia if yall still needed any
To recap, next year is:
1. New Gen 10th Anniversary
2. Ginga's 10th Anniversary
3. Gaia's 25th Anniversary
4. Taro's 50th Anniversary
Considering that Taro was so popular (technically TsuPro still regards him well, and personally my fav ultra), hope he gets an actual cameo rather than just featuring Birdon or sth like with Pandon for Seven's
Or dare I say, either Super Taro get a new redesign or we finally get to see his Limit Breaker form once he wields the Ultimate Blade (at least a sneak peeks for UGF4 for 2024 as we probably wont be getting it in 2023 thanks to Regulus)
Also, sources say that the name of the next Chronicle would be "Ultraman Heroes G", with Zero again confirmed to be the navigator
Overall, personally very excited for the New Gen Gaia series cause there's so much they can do with it unlike Decker
And especially because its the major anniversary years of my favourite Ultra and Heisei Ultra

You know how you described how each Ultra Brother can take on an entire army of Kaiju? Well, define what ya mean by ARMY of Kaiju if you don’t mind. And maybe how each of them could handle an army of Kaiju perhaps?
Im basically just gonna bust out the lookup list as a refresher here:
iirc this was done 1-2 years ago where I spent about 2 hours or so to work out the scaling based on official statements/numbers as well as canon feats (I also had to make a number of assumptions to at least make the scaling linear)
I am always referring to this list for any form of powerscaling asks for those that miss it, it covers all canon ultras from 1 NG all the way up to Noa.
And of course theres also my postulated extension of canon here:
But I rarely ever need to use that one since its beyond the usual scaling that canon vibes at rn
So back to the standard list, where a standard New Gen Base form can be considered as 1 NG and 1 NG can one shot a standard mid tier 2 kaiju using his finisher
In that same lookup table, I also calculated that the UB are anywhere from 1000 - 10 000 NG (may be stronger, will justify later)
Also when I say UB level Ultras, I generally classify Ultras that are at least as old as Taro or can be scaled to the UB, such as of course the 6 UB, Leo Brothers, Great Eight, Regulus, Toregia, Great, Powered etc, the logic that undergirds this differentiation is M78 Proportionality Constant/Scaling which I derived based on calculation as shown in the standard list
Thus far, my calculations seems largely consistent with canon feats as covered before in detail
Using all of the above, a way to answer your first question is that a UB can probably take on either 1000 to 10 000 mid Tier 2 kaiju (Taro can definitely take on at least 10 000 since I rmb i specifically calculated this number based on him, I think i include the calculation in the first link). An example of a mid tier kaiju would be something like Gomora/Red King, which means no Tier 2 kaiju with some form of hax abilities like Zetton or specs in a certain stat like Skydon with his durability.
So I suppose just the UBs' finishers alone could do the job (not even gonna bring in their reality-warping abilities) since theres really nothing an army of Tier 2 kaiju can actually even do to a UB level Ultra's durability in the first place. So, is how each UB can handle an army of mid-tier 2 kaiju really that important at that point tho?
Heck they mostly likely could no diff the same army without using their finishers, we have seen normal attacks from UB level Ultras being able to one shot New Gen Base forms (Possessed Taro, Toregia etc), which scales higher than mid-Tier 2 kaiju anyways, which is why I say UB Level Ultras could potentially scale higher than 10 000 NG
Thanks for the question!

Any idea if the recent tsupro announcement about the November expo is gonna introduce a new Seven show or movie?
It states that they're considering "other projects" (in reference to Seven) once Seven's 55th anniversary thingy concludes at said expo
Ah yes I see youve read the news as well
I talked about this before like a few months ago I believe but in light of Tsubucon approaching as well as new information released, I might as well go through it again.
So if yall recall the leaked TsuPro documents, specifically the one that shows the timeline of the international expansion plans, there should be 2 more Shinverse Installments, one in 2024/25, the other in 2027/28
This is also consistent with one of the ShinU docs that showed Anno had proposed 2 more sequels for ShinU. But iirc the first was actually a Return of Ultraman adaptation, bascially ShinU 2, and only the third was Shin Ultraseven.
(I believe u can still find this document online)
So in all, I believe other than what was announced in the program lineup, there wont be anymore Seven-related projects until probably the next Tsubucon in 2025 based on what we know specifically regarding Seven
The most that can be expected for this is TsuPro randomly deciding against previous expectations to bring Shin Ultraseven forward and push ShinU 2 backward (dosent actually make sense continuity wise tho)
They might as well keep the previous arrangement and release Shin Ultraseven in 2027, for Seven's 60th Anniversary
So with regards to the "other projects", its either Shin Ultraseven or simply just some unimportant Tsuburaya Imaginations jazz that people outside of Japan won't be too interested in nor can we access it either anyways (does anyone even remember the Another Gene comic?)
To answer your implicit question and others that would most definitely ask next, as for what other possible projects could be announced, it should be ShinU 2, Blazar movie, UGF4, Netflix Movie, Gaia spin-off and Kaiju Decode would be the expected ones
Otherwise, the "expected-unexpected" ones imo would be another Gridman Installment, AU netflix series of the Ultraman Novel and/or a Darkness Heels anime adaptation
The most unexpected ones I can think of is a JJ spin-off (which was hinted at on twitter from his VA) and another Regulus spin-off (which may pushback UGF4 so I hope this dosent happen)
Thanks for the question!
