Multimedia Journal Entry 2 (Black Panther)
Black Panther is a movie that was released in 2018 and is about an African king named T'Challa. After the death of his father, T'Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king -- and as Black Panther -- gets tested when he's drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people.
I selected this movie because the Black Panther is creating and imagining an African community that has not been touched by colonization. It is a pursuit of liberation of the black community worldwide through these means.
Tumblr media
I think this movie relates to week 7 of course where we talked about civil rights. It is obvious that the Black Panther is black, but it's not just the superhero who happens to be black but the whole character's identity is around his culture and being black. This relates to civil rights as Hollywood has sort of refused to make Afrocentric films saying that they wouldn't attract a big enough audience. Since Black Panther was so popular is may permanently remove this narrative and pave the way for more films of this nature. It also ties in with the Civil Rights movement because some writers have suggested that T'Challa's philosophy is similar to some very popular Civil Rights leaders such as MLK and MalcolmX. In the movie, T'Challa decides to focus his energy on building an infrastructure that better supports the disenfranchised. This includes African American youth, but is also aimed at a much larger international community.
Tumblr media
The main villain of Black Panther is Ulysses Klaw, the son of a Nazi war criminal. Klaw becomes an arms dealer in South Africa and travels to Wakanda where he forces Wakandans to mine Vibranium(precious metal). Therefore, Klaw directly represents the legacy of the Nazis and white colonialism. This ties into our Week 4 topic of 'Whiteness' where we discussed the privilege of being white. While this doesn't directly relate to the privilege some white people don't see they have, I think that this villain indirectly shows history repeating itself with a white colonizer.

Hell to Pay (Finale)
Ross brought me back to the palace, where I was escorted to Shuri's lab. I sighed in relief seeing that she was okay- it didn't occur to me that I'd left a minor alone on a battlefield.
"There, it's not so bad" she said once she finished patching up my hand. It still hurt, but it was better than seeing a bloody mess. I smiled at her.
"Thank you" I said. She nodded her head in response, then took a breath.
"My brother wishes to speak with you" she said. My heart began to race in my chest. I kept a facade, nodding my head and letting out a chuckle.
"Can't imagine what about" I joked. I got up from the table and walked out with Shuri, heading towards the throne room. When we arrived, T'Challa was pacing about, still in his Panther suit.
"Brother" Shuri said. He looked towards us, stopping in his tracks, and nodded. I looked to Shuri, who ushered me in and left. I took a breath and walked toward him.
"You wanted to speak to me?" I asked.
"Yes, come" he replied. He walked toward the glass window behind the throne, which overlooked the waterfalls behind us. I approached, silence between us.
"Erik is dead" he said. I was glad, although a part of me felt somewhat unsure if this was a good thing.
"He deserved it... after all the people he killed" I replied. I felt him look at me from the side.
"You did what I could not. Thank you" he said. I turned toward him, slightly in shock. I nodded in return.
"I had to avenge Klaw" I said. This piqued his interest, and he raised an eyebrow.
"How did you and Klaw come to meet?" He asked. I turned and looked out the window, swallowing hard. The view was absolutely breathtaking.
"I came from an island much like Wakanda. Taínan. We were the descendants of the Taíno chief, Anacaona... I'm named after her" started. T'Challa leaned in, nodding.
"When I was thirteen, Klaw came to the island. I had never seen a steel boat before. I was the first to see him...". I felt strange in that moment, talking about Klaw from the outside. Something inside me felt different, yet familiar at the same time. I shook my head and cleared my throat before continuing.
"He took me to New York. Years later I started to work for him and we fell in love" I said. T'Challa seemed to stare through me, which made me feel almost vulnerable, as if he knew what was in my mind at that moment. He nodded simply.
"There is still more to your story, parts that you will come to admit when you are ready" he said. I looked back at him, partly in awe, partly in confusion.
"Where will you be going?" He asked. I was surprised at his question; I assumed I was still a prisoner.
"You're letting me leave?" I asked in disbelief.
"You protected my sister. You fought for my country. I have no reason to hold you against your will" he replied. I raised my eyebrows at him, nodding slowly. I thought back to my little hut in Jo'burg, the one Klaw had gotten us. It wouldn't be the same without him. The only other home I knew was New York, but I was certain no one I knew would still be there. Not to mention, Taínan...
"I don't have a home anymore" I said. I saw him shrug from the corner of my eye.
"You are more than welcome to stay in Wakanda, if you'd like" he replied. As shocked as I was to hear his words, the scenery around us was so beautiful, I couldn't react. The trees were so green and full of life, the waterfalls so blue and powerful. I was at peace here.
I was at home.
"I'd like that".

❝and now she’s all over me it’s like i paid for it❞
Tumblr media
(not my gif)
summary: get in there, get what you want, get out.
warnings: smut, oral sex m receiving, klaue straight up murders someone (that means descriptions of blood) fingering, unprotected sex, prostitutes, there’s probably more warnings so let me know if i missed anything!
word count: 1.3k
a/n: in my defense, i rewatched black panther and i was left unsupervised. this is kind of short, bye
//////
The LED lights lining the walls of the lobby were seedy, flickering, flashing a pathetically inconsistent purple that only further confirmed this place was a shithole. Something about it made you think it wasn’t to be trusted. A bad attempt at friendliness.
Get in there, get what you want, get out. Try not to speak to anyone if you can, your Korean’s horrible. Those were the exact instructions you’d given yourself.
As it turns out, it didn’t take long to find Klaue: he was in the darkened room beyond the bar, some hooker you didn’t recognize on his lap, the only thing unusual about it. You didn’t let the jealousy flood you— no time to waste on those petty emotions.
Being careful not to take your eyes off them, you leaned as seductively as you could against the doorframe. “Hey.”
You knew Klaue could only see your silhouette, but you hoped your voice was giveaway enough.
However, confusion flooded his features— apparently not.
“Who’s there?” he called, pushing the girl off his lap, and you took your first, confident steps towards the lamplight.
“Me, duh. I thought we had a deal, why you bringing some other whore into this?”
“Uh, I’m right here,” the girl cut in rudely, and even though she looked Korean, her accent was all American.
There was an awkward beat, then Klaue gave her a little push towards the door. “Go off, now. Don’t tell anyone you’ve seen me.”
She gave him a look, but started off the couch obediently: she didn’t get five steps before Klaue unholstered a pistol and opened fire on her back.
The girl collapsed in the space between you: her blood looked syrupy on the carpet.
“Right in front of me? Seriously?” you said, sidestepping the growing pool so the bottoms of your Louboutins wouldn’t get redder than they already were, “Who’s gonna clean it up?”
Klaue shrugged half-heartedly, and the pistol was still smoking, so he put it on the seat next to him instead of back in the holster. “They have janitors.”
There was silence as you sat down next to him.
“How long you staying in Korea?” you mumbled.
“Until my partner makes a move,” he said, his eyes fixed on the dead girl. She was definitely dead, and had died almost instantly, but dead bodies twitched. It was unnerving.
“How long you planning on staying in this room?” you pressed, turning your gaze back to him.
Klaue looked at you this time, his expression impossible to read.
“Until there’s a silver lining.”
He bent down to kiss you then, and normally you weren’t the type to rush, but you slipped your tongue in his mouth immediately, your hand tightening on his leg. He responded by gripping you by the nape of your neck, sending hot spirals everywhere he was touching you.
When he was done feeling out your neck, he reached for your leg, yanked it over his lap pretty goddamn quickly, and if you had any breath left, you would’ve giggled. You didn’t spend much time teasing him through his slacks like you normally would’ve: you simply lowered yourself down between his spread legs and teased him with your hands.
“What do you want?” you asked him, looking up at him, pupils blown wide but hardly noticeable in the lighting. He was hard, of course he was, maybe not fully yet, but certainly swollen, you could feel it.
Klaue wrapped his flesh hand in your hair, curling his fingers in tight. “I want fucking everything.”
You took that as cue to get a move on: you fumbled with his zipper and soon enough his cock was free.
You’d guessed right. He was already leaking and swollen, a drop of precum rolling down from the tip that practically begged you to lick it off.
His hips arched into your palm as you started stroking him, and you grinned as Klaue pulled you down, forcing you to taste him.
He was so big you could easily feel him in the back of your mouth, but you didn’t care, you bobbed your head and swirled your tongue until you extracted a low groan out of him. Your knees were digging into the carpet, your dress was probably riding up, and the girl was dead, for fuck’s sake, but none of it mattered.
You gagged and Klaue took over, fucking into your mouth with the flesh hand still in your hair. You moaned against him, knowing your drool was rolling down his length, and your eyes fluttered shut as he thrust wantonly into your mouth.
It didn’t take much before he was spilling onto your tongue.
“Plenty of time to make a mess of that pretty face later,” Klaue mumbled, a sly grin in his voice, and your pussy clenched around nothing as the grip on the back of your hair loosened.
You rose, hooking your legs around him, and Klaue slipped both hands under your slip dress to grip your ass as he kissed you searing and open-mouthed. You couldn’t help but flinch at having his weaponized hand on you, especially as it dipped down beneath your underwear, but the apprehension lessened as an artificial finger disappeared into your pussy.
“Fuck,” you hissed: it was almost too much. He was sucking a bruising kiss on your neck, you could feel the pressure building.
You twisted your hips against him and Klaue gave a shapeless grunt.
“You gonna come for me, love?” he mumbled, crooking the finger, “It’s barely been ten fucking seconds…”
“Need you,” you muttered breathlessly, “Needed you ever since I stepped into this place.”
“Ay, I can tell, comin’ in here lookin’ like that.”
His voice dipped disastrously low and you gasped as he tugged down the front of your dress: the rush of cool air around your breasts pushed you to the precipice, and you arched on his fingers.
“Calm down, love.”
You groaned as he twisted one of your nipples with his flesh hand, only to soothe the sting of pain with a wet kiss around the sensitive skin. Your eyes rolled back, you barely felt him withdrawing his artificial finger.
“So fucking needy,” he groaned, gripping your ass, actually pulling you up out of the way so he could tease his cock on your folds, “Bet you’d come if I let the head of it in, eh?”
You nodded frantically, and Klaue chuckled darkly. “That’s what I thought.”
So fucking generous tonight, he let you on his cock, and you moaned out loud as the knot in your stomach finally loosened. “Holy fuck.”
“Spread your legs, love,” he muttered thickly.
You did to the best of your ability, sinking down further on his cock, and Klaue rubbed your clit, moaning unabashedly like it was the most angelic thing he’d ever touched.
“Takin’ it so well…”
Klaue was completely buried inside of you when he started moving: you gasped pathetically as he pulled out half an inch only to sink even deeper than before, and your orgasm came like a wave, making everything in you clench and unclench at once.
You didn’t even register moving forward, but suddenly your lips were crashed against his as you twisted your hips against him, pushing even further.
It was rhythmic, you were moving together, he had a hand firm on your hip as he thrust into you, and you were doing your best to take all of him when he was filling you so deeply like this.
God, this feeling was enough to make you cross countries. You’d hijacked the jet just for this. It was hard to believe you’d actually been in Taiwan this afternoon.
“That’s it, love,” Klaue groaned. “I’m so fuckin’ close, making a mess of me now…”
He gave a few more lazy thrusts before completely slowing to a stop, and you gasped as you felt him fill you, the warmth practically covering every inch of you, he was so fucking deep.
“Thanks,” you bit out, panting, even though you knew you’d be getting back on him within minutes.
Klaue squeezed your wrist, possibly unable to move. “My pleasure.”
It took all the strength you had left, but you hoisted yourself off of him and tugged your dress down, only to collapse beside him as your legs were aching.
“Ow,” you mumbled pathetically.
“Stay,” Klaue mumbled, wrapping an arm around you.

The Deal part four
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Ulysses x You.
Author’s note: There will be a few songs mentioned in this part, so I suggest that you listen to these songs while you read it. Here is the list in case you want to have it ready before you start reading.  Have fun!😉
Song list: Freeek by George Micheal
100 Ways by Austin Hull
Closer by Nine Inch Nails
You were definitely distracted for the next few days. Did that night actually happen? Did you actually do that? Did HE actually do that? What was infuriating was that you did not see Ulysses for the next few days, no calls, just a few messages but they were all business related. How cold. Did he regret what happened? Did you go too far? It was almost impossible to do simple tasks without thinking about him.
Finally, a few days later, right when you were ready to go home you got a message from Ulysses that said There is a package for you at the front desk. You headed downstairs and the concierge handed you a large pink box.
When you got home you opened the box and the first thing you saw was a note: I need you again. Wear this. There was an address and time that you were supposed to show up at the club. You put the piece of paper aside and you took out a very well fitting dress. You also noticed something else in the box, it was matching underwear. The arrogance of this man. Should you actually wear it? You thought about it for a second. Truthfully, you didn’t like  being told what to do but the thought of letting him get a glimpse of the underwear he liked really excited you. You could always tease him by letting him get a look here and there, by accident of course.  The things I do for this job, you sighed to yourself.
You took a taxi to the club. When you gave the bouncer your name he led you to a private area.
The song Freeek by George Micheal started playing.
The bouncer lifted the velvet rope for you. You walked in and sat on a leather ottoman. A few men glanced at you from where they were sitting.
The bouncer leaned forward so you could hear him over the music “He will be with you shortly. Would you like something to drink?”
You told him what drink you wanted and he walked away. You were starting to feel anxious as you noticed some of the men nudging each other and pointing your way. You stood up to leave when you noticed a guy walking in your direction but thankfully Ulysses appeared a few seconds later smiling wide at you. “I knew that dress would look perfect on you.” He said taking your hand and kissing it with flair. In the corner of your eye you noticed the guy go back to his seat. Ulysses led you to a circular sofa where you recognized some of his business partners, there was one bubbly girl who seemed friendly so you sat down next to her. She gave you a big smile when she noticed you so you smiled back.
Ulysses leaned next to your ear “I still have some business to take care of. You chat for a while, don’t give away any of my secrets though.” Ulysses winked and he sat across from you and started chatting with the men.
The bouncer arrived with your drink. You took a sip, it was just the way you liked it.
“Is he your boyfriend?” the bubbly girl turned to you.
You chocked on your drink, “He’s my boss.” You quickly spat out but you realized that perhaps that wasn’t something you should have said when you noticed the girl’s face change. You weren’t sure how to read the look she gave you.
“Hmmmm… your boss is hot.” She said as she eyed you for a response.
“I guess…” you tried to say coolly.
The girl laughed for some reason “But you guys do it, right?”
You chocked on your drink a second time, you just shook your head no while you coughed.
“Come on, it’s between us girls! Like I said, he’s hot and there is no shame in having some fun.”
“What makes you think we do it?”
“Well… the way he can’t keep his eyes off you for one thing.” She said taking a sip of her own drink.
You glanced at Ulysses, even though he seemed to be explaining something to the other men, he had his eyes glued to you. You looked away quickly, the girl in front of you smiled and nodded her head cheerfully.
“By the way, I’m Cate.” She said extending her hand.
“Y/N” you said as you shook it.
100 Ways by Austin Hull started playing.
The two of you chatted for a while but you got excited whenever you felt Ulysses’ gaze on you.
You couldn’t help imagining him grabbing you by the hand and leading you somewhere the two of you could be alone. Maybe even the bathroom, which was quite fancy despite it being in a club, large mirrors, leather loungers, a soft shaggy rug. He would lock the door so no one could get in, he’d give you that look and you’d start making out. He’d back you up against the sinks and lift you up onto the countertop, still kissing you, as he’d lift your skirt... You were lost in these thoughts but you quickly realized that you were staring at Ulysses for far too long, unconsciously giving him bedroom eyes, he stopped talking as he tilted his head and arched his brow at you with interest. You quickly looked away as you felt a heat flow through you.
As the night went on you started to relax and feel a little playful as you sipped on your second drink. You laughed loudly at something Cate said drawing Ulysses’ attention to yourself as you teasingly flipped your hair letting your dress strap fall off your shoulder. You glanced to check what Ulysses was doing when you heard him stumble over his words as he adjusted himself in his seat when he saw your cleavage become more exposed.
You sat back, sipping on your drink letting your outrageously short dress hike up just enough to show off where your lace top stockings ended. Ulysses ran his thumb over his bottom lip.
“Let’s go dance!” Cate said standing up.
You stood up and followed her onto the dance floor.
The two of you danced for a while when suddenly you felt a warm hand on your shoulder. “May I?” Ulysses asked looking at you.
Cate gave you a thumbs up before she disappeared into the crowd.
Closer by Nine Inch Nails started playing.
Ulysses towered over you, as the two of you started to dance.
Your moves were slow and sensual, you felt his gaze travel all over your body, as you rocked back and forth in front of him. He started to move in the same pace as you, his moves were more strategic, his hands would occasionally caress different parts of your body, sending an electric feeling through you every time it happened, making you wonder if he did it deliberately or not.
You wanted to tease him so you turned your back to him as you swayed your hips and flipped your hair exposing your bare back to him.
You unexpectedly felt him press his entire body against your back as his hands snaked around your waist, and he buried his face in the side of your neck.
“I didn’t know you could dance like that.” He breathed.
“You’re not so bad yourself. You really know how to move.” You replied turning your head to look at him.
He chuckled, his face barely an inch from yours, “Oh, you haven’t seen anything yet. ” He said giving you a mischievous look.
You wondered if that look suggested that those moves translate to what he can do in bed. Damn, where were these thoughts coming from? You didn’t know how long you would be able to control yourself around this man.
Author’s note: Tell me if you guys liked the idea of music in fics, yay or nay?

The Hyena (Ulysses Klaue x Reader) [Part 2]
Acceptance comes with conditions.

The hours slogged by as you waited. A man like Klaue, you reasoned, would make a decision quickly, though not without considering all the variables.
Then again, a man like Klaue would make you wait til the last second simply to keep you on your toes. A power play, one you knew all too well. To make himself seem like he was in control, he would make you sweat.
You were fucking tired of sweating. As the hours trudged past with no call, no appearance of Klaue at your doorstep, your anxiety swelled until you were crawling in your own skin. The fan on your face, the cold water you splashed over yourself—nothing mitigated your sensory torment.
Still no Klaue.
Fuck.
As you threw your things back into the small carry-on you’d brought, you wondered if he knew how much you needed him. To be the one in control, you had to let him know he was expendable, that you were gifting him a favor. He couldn’t think he was the essential piece on which the whole plan hinged.
He knew. He had to know.
The irrationality of the thought hooked its claws into your gray matter, making you crawl in your own cerebral cortex.
How could he know how important this was to you? He couldn’t, end of story.
You viciously zipped up the carry-on and headed for the airport.
~~
The terminal was blissfully cool, air-conditioned for its flyers. You lounged in one of the chairs directly under a vent and let go of your hope. At least you weren’t suffering in the swelter anymore.
You boarded the plane forty minutes later, not bothering to glance at the time. You felt numb. Yet another thwarted plan that would have fed your ambition.
I should just leave the Agency, you thought bitterly, already composing your report to Ross in your head.
The mission was a failure, sir. Klaue thought I was crazy, too.
“Well,” Ross would say, “at least he stopped you.”
You could hear the snickers and see the delighted sneers of your coworkers rejoicing in your failure.
Doomed to fail, always.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” the pilot’s voice crackled over the plane’s speakers, “welcome to Transnational Airlines. Thank you for riding with us today.”
You tuned him out, sinking deeper into the wallow pit you had dug for yourself.
Put all my eggs in one basket.
Peering out the window at the stretch of unforgiving wasteland, you thought with rueful triumph, Fuck you, heat. The one consolation prize of the whole wasted mission.
The plane jolted as it began to taxi away from the gate and down the runway. Heat waves radiated up from the cracked pavement.
So long, hellhole.
The plane jerked to a stop. The flight attendant from the back of the plane strode quickly down the center aisle, disappearing into the cockpit.
Warning bells tolled in your mind. Straightening, you peered out the window, trying to see what was happening on the ground.
The flight attendant emerged from the cockpit. With a frightened glance over her shoulder, she unlocked the plug door.
Tense voices shouted outside the plane, audible though unintelligible above the roar of the plane’s idling engines. A figure darkened the doorway, sending the flight attendant scurrying back in alarm.
Fucking hell.
Barreling forward, Klaue strode into the plane, filling the space bodily in the way only he seemed able to do. Blue-gray eyes sweeping over the terrified faces of the passengers, he fixed his attention suddenly on you. The feral grin stretched across his face.
“Leaving so soon?” he called as he slowly sauntered over.
Fucking. Hell.
Not only had he made you wait, but he was making a big fucking show of it. The balls on the man had you shaking with agitation and embarrassment.
“I told you twelve hours,” you managed to say.
He tapped the large watch on his wrist with his prosthetic hand. “Not twelve hours yet, sweetheart.”
He reached your row. Leaning against the back of the chair in front of you, the woman in the seat cowering away from him, he regarded you with deadly amusement, like a cat waiting to play with its prey.
“Well?” you asked, your irritation getting the better of you. “Don’t tell me you stopped the whole plane just to tell me no.”
“Don’t underestimate me.”
You felt the stares of the people in the seats around you, panicked eyes shifting between you and Klaue. They wanted it over. They wanted him off the plane and you with it, if they were lucky.
“Give me your answer.”
Scratching at his beard, Klaue replied, “I accept.”
You nearly jumped out of your seat with excitement. Struggling to keep your face neutral, you nodded, not trusting your voice.
“On one condition.”
You looked at him sharply. “What?”
“You stay here with me.”
FUCKING HELL.
“That’s not how this works,” you said. “You check in—”
“If I’m going to stick my neck out in front of Dietrich,” Klaue said, leaning in, breath ticking your face, “you have to be right there beside me on the chopping block if everything goes wrong, sweetheart.”
Your mind raced, heart tripping in your chest with anxiety. You needed him. There was no other way around it. Even if it meant sweltering in this godforsaken hole and enduring everything Klaue would throw at you, it would be worth it to take Dietrich down.
It had to be.
Gritting your teeth, you met his penetrating stare. “Deal.”

The Other Ross
TRIGGER WARNING: Violence, mentions of being shot.
SPOILERS FOR BLACK PANTHER
Inspired by the scene in the Black Panther 2018 movie where Agent Ross is shot and taken to Wakanda. I have never written anything like this before, so please any constructive feedback is necessary! Requests are open. I also do song inspired ones.
For @starsshines-blog
Everett Ross
T’Challa sees him as a colleague. Sort of.
Ulysses Klaue sees him as the man who is interrogating him.
Okoye sees him as a nuisance.
You see him as dad.
Everett Ross adopted you, Y/N, when you were only eleven months old. So you don’t really remember a life without him, and you can’t imagine it now. There where, of course, those times growing up where he’d disappear for weeks at a time, you leaving you with your nanny to take care of you in the New York City apartment he's so painstakingly baby-proofing when he first got approved to adopt you.
You followed in your dad’s footsteps, and now are a member of the CIA.
You’ve accompanied him now on his mission, where he must stop Ulysses Klaue, also known as Klaw.
You watch through the two way mirror with T’Challa and Okoye as your dad interrogates the man, wishing you could hear what they are saying. The way T’Challa amd Okoye are glancing at each other every so often makes you wonder what they are thinking.
Last night, you were undercover with your dad. You had on a ruby red, floor length, long sleeve dress. When the fight broke out in the casino, he ordered you to leave and get back up.
Unfortunately, you’d lost both Ulysses Klaue, your dad, and T’Challa and the women that  he’d arrived with.
Now, you’re trying to understand what exactly you missed as you sip your own coffee, clad in your gray business suit.
You’re tired, you’re cranky, you’re confused.
But you have to say you don’t mind the view.
That view being T’Challa.
‘’So. Miss Y/N Ross,’’ king T’Challa turns to you, ‘’You are the daughter of Everett Ross.’’
Is he really trying to make conversation with you right now?
‘’I am,’’ you nod, ‘’I think this gives a whole new meaning to ‘Bring your Daughter to Work Day’, though.’’
He chuckles then, placing a hand on your shoulder, ‘’Well, if you are anything like your dad, then you will do an amazing job.’’
You glance at his hand on your shoulder, ‘’So, is your bodyguard going to impale me to that table over there?’’
She looks at you out of the corner of her eye before looking back through the two way mirror with a smirk.
‘’I highly doubt it. For one thing, I am touching your shoulder. For another thing, she appreciates beauty and intelligence just as much as I do.’’
    Oh brother.
‘’Oh brother,’’ Okoye mutters under her breath.
‘’Well, your highness,’’ you cross your arms over your chest, ‘’I think I can appreciate intelligence and good looks as well.’’
And what are you doing? Flirting on the job? You just watched your dad interrogate a man who tried to sell him an ax head made from vibranium that he pulled out of his pants.
So, on the scale of weirdness, this isn’t that weird, you guess.
Nothing about your life has ever really been ‘’normal’’ anyway.
Your normal is far different than most other people’s. Why should it surprise you that you are flirting with a prince?
‘’T’Challa, a word?,’’ your dad exits then, sending you a weary glance before speaking to the prince.
    ‘’Duty calls,’’ T’Challa tells
You only catch bits and pieces, such as the words ‘’Vibranium’’, ‘’Thief’’’, and ‘’Lies’’.
Just then a woman, you think her name is Nakia, comes in, speaking in Xhosa.
You barely have any time to react before there is a loud crash is heard,  you’re grabbing Nakia as your dad yells, ‘’Everybody get down!’’. You know something’s happened, though, and you find yourself on the floor.
There is a sharp pain that feels like it is slicing through your shoulder, but you can feel it  radiating through your body as you hit the cold, hard ground. You’re not entirely sure what’s going on next. You hear loud noises and you are vaguely aware of people rushing around. Your vision is slipping in and out though- one moment things are clear, the next minute they’re not.
Your vaguely aware of your dad kneeling next to you in the aftermath of all of this, saying, ‘’She’s been shot! We have to get her out of here.’’
You feel cold even as a light layer of sweat covers your body
‘’Shh, relax, Y/N, you’re going to be fine.’’
‘’Not if we don’t get her out of here,’’ Nakia says.
‘’She won’t survive here. Give… give her to us,’’ T’Challa says as he places a kimoyo bead inside of the wound, ‘’We can save her.’’
    Then, everything goes black.
You wake up, and you’re not sure how long it’s been. All you see are bright lights, and a young girl who can’t be older than sixteen. You look down at your clothes, noticing that you are now dressed in black pants and a black shirt, a stark difference from your gray business suit.
The strangest difference of all?
You feel no pain.
‘’Excuse me,’’ you speak up, causing the young girl to jump.
‘’Don’t scare me like that,’’ she breathes out, looking at you cautiously.
‘’My… my name is, Y/N Ross.’’
‘’I know. Your dad has been worried sick about you,’’ the young woman you now recognize as Shuri states, ‘’He will be happy to now that you are okay.’’
‘’Where am I,’’ you look around the lab, ‘’Is… is this Wakanda?’’
‘’No, it’s an amusement park. What do you think,’’ she raises an eyebrow ,’’Of course this is Wakanda.’’
‘’Okay,’’ you ignore her snark, because you’re kind of hurt, kind of impressed, ‘’I guess the question I should be asking is ‘Why am I here?’, I guess.’’
‘’To heal you. My brother, your dad and Nakia knew that you would not make it otherwise. So, they brought you here.’’
‘’How long have I been here?’’
‘’A day,’’ she answers, placing a stack of papers on the table, ‘’Give or take a couple of hours?’’
‘’A day? No. No, no, no, no. I remember being shot after dad interrogated Klaw. There’s not way that this healed in a day.’’
You lift up your shirt to see the spot where you clearly remember the bullet hit you. It’s completely healed, not even a scratch is there. There’s no way. Unless…
‘’Vibranium. I healed you in my lab. Everything you see around you uses some vibranium in some way. We are the most technologically advanced nation for a reason,’’ Shuri states, ‘’A lot of these are my own designs.’’
You look at her again.
She’s sixteen, give or take a year or two. And she designed all of this and healed you perfectly overnight.
‘’You’re a genius,’’ you say in awe, even as she throws her head back laughing.
‘’Yes, I know. Shuri Udaku: meme lover, prankster, and genius. Oh, and princess of Wakanda.’’
‘’It is nice to see that you are back on your feet, Agent Ross,’’ T’Challa’s sudden entrance makes you jump, and you turn towards him.
‘’King T’Challa. You scared me,’’ you admit.
‘’My brother is wearing my latest invention- shoes that are     completely sound absorbent. They’re called… sneakers.’’
T’Challa looks at you and rolls his eyes, shaking his head fondly at his little sister’s puns, ‘’She’s creative, just not in all areas.’’
‘’Oh, okay, brother. I see how it is,’’ she shakes her head, ‘’You’re just acting like this because you have a crush on Ms. Y/N Ross. Don’t worry, I won’t tell her dad.’’
She smirks, and he looks at her in shock.
Knowing she has had the last word, she stalks away, taking the winding stair/ramp of her lab, exiting just as fluently and gracefully as her brother entered.
‘’What is she talking about?’’
‘’Who knows? My sister has such an active imagination,’’ T’Challa excuses her.
‘’Oh, okay, so I just imagined you flirting with me?’’
‘’Please, do not act like the attraction was not mutual. You were definitely flirting with me,’’ he tells you, a smug look on his face.
‘’You flirt with all of your sister’s patients?’’
‘’Just the cute ones.’’
‘’Just kiss already!,’’ Shuri yells from upstairs, and you’re shaking with laughter when T’Challa facepalms.
‘’I’m sorry about her. Discretion is not exactly her strong point,’’ T’Challa explains.
‘’We can’t all be the Black Panther,’’ you place a hand on his shoulder, ‘’I hope that this touch will not get me impaled onto that lab table.’’
‘’No, it will not,’’ he raises an eyebrow, ‘’I know that you are a skilled fighter as well. Intelligence, skills, and beauty?’’
‘‘Sounds like someone else I know,’‘ you retort.
Because you’re in Wakanda of all places, flirting with the king of Wakanda of all people.
But also because you’re still reeling from everything that Shuri has told you, and distracting yourself from your real questions.
‘‘Did I really get shot,’‘ you ask quietly, wondering how it could have healed so quickly.’’
‘‘You did. you are okay, though. You may be a bit sore for a few days, but you will be just fine. And I have notified your dad. He is happy that you are okay.’‘
‘‘My dad? Is he alright?’‘
‘‘He is just fine. He escaped with a few minor cuts and scrapes but nothing serious.’‘
‘‘But why did you choose to bring me here? Isn’t Wakanda closed to outsiders?’‘
That throws him a bit. He blinks rapidly, looking at you as he mulls over what to say.
‘‘It was my duty.’‘
His words carry more meaning thank you know, but you don’t have time to question him further.
He is getting a message on his beads, the woman you recognize as Okoye calling him.
‘‘My king, your presence is needed in the throne room immediately.’‘
‘‘Is this something that can wait just a while longer? I’m checking on Agent Ross. The other Agent Ross- Y/N.’‘
‘‘I am afraid not, my king. There is a man that came to our borders. A Wakandan, though neither born nor raised here. He claims to have killed Ulysses Klaue.’‘
T’Challa looks at you with wide eyes, and you can see fear, hesitation, and something you can’t quite pinpoint flicker across his face.
Well.
It looks like your adventure is just beginning.

Chadwick Boseman || T’Challa Udaku || Black Panther || Avengers || Identity: Public || 35 || Male || Birnin Zana, Wakanda || King of Wakanda || N/a (Diplomatic Immunity) || PLAYED BY DANICA
biography:
From an early age, T’Challa was intimately familiar with responsibility. Born the son of a scientist and a king, he was heir to the Wakandan throne long before he truly understood what the throne – or Wakanda itself – represented. From an early age, T’Challa received training of all sorts. He learned about the properties of vibranium as soon as he was old enough to comprehend it, and began lessons in royal duty at the age of five.
When accompanying his father to the border wall for inspection the first time, T’Challa found himself lost and afraid. Luckily, an outside explorer by the name of Ramonda found him and helped him get back to his father. T’Chaka, who had lost his first wife only a week after T’Challa’s birth, took a liking to Ramonda, and they eventually wed. T’Challa accepted his stepmother as his mother in all but blood, and he loved her entirely.
During a memorial ceremony near the border of Wakanda, a man named Ulysses Klaw approached T’Chaka and demanded mining rights to Wakanda’s vibranium mound. T’Chaka refused, and Klaw and his band of mercenaries launched a violent attack against the king. When Klaw and his men overwhelmed T’Chaka, T’Challa – who was still a young boy at the time – ran to his father’s aid. Unfortunately, there were too many men for T’Challa to take on alone, even with his substantial hand-to-hand combat training. Klaw had T’Challa cornered and was prepared to kill the boy, but T’Chaka overcame the men he was facing in time to shield his son from Klaw’s attack. Unfortunately, he was killed in the process. Immediately, Klaw was disarmed by Wakandan guards and T’Challa, full of rage and grief in the wake of his father’s death, picked up the invader’s specialized weapon and fired, maiming Klaw’s arm and forcing his men to retreat without the vibranium they’d come in search for.
From that day on, the responsibility that T’Challa had been faced with all his life only grew. Because he was too young to rule, his uncle stepped in and took his place, intending to sit upon the throne until T’Challa came of age. While preparing to take over the throne, T’Challa traveled the world, intending to learn all he could in order to be the best leader imaginable to his people. He studied in America, earning a PhD in physics, and roamed the land surrounding Wakanda in order to gain a better understanding of the world at large.
Two years before he was set to take over the throne, T’Challa anonymously challenged his uncle’s rule, deciding he wanted to earn his place as king rather than inherit it. Upon victory, he gained both the kingship and the mantle of Black Panther from his uncle, who was happy to step aside and allow his nephew to take his rightful place. After taking the sacred heart-shaped herb that his people had held dear for generations, T’Challa gained the powers of the Black Panther, making him almost superhuman.
For most of its history, Wakanda had set itself apart from the outside world. Many of its people were adamant that this was the way things needed to be, but T’Challa wasn’t entirely sure. The idea of staying isolated indefinitely was unrealistic, and as T’Challa began working with American superheroes, he found himself wondering if isolation was truly the best strategy moving forward. Tentatively, he decided to test the waters by offering the aid of the Black Panther to the Avengers, though he did not share with them the fact that the Panther was the king of Wakanda.
When the Accords were introduced, T’Challa refused to sign, citing diplomatic immunity, and continued to work alongside the Avengers. He made his distaste for the Accords clear, eventually coming out publicly as the the Black Panther and throwing his political weight against the document as well.
The Skrulls threw T’Challa for a loop. In spite of his efforts to keep Wakanda’s location hidden, the aliens were able to get inside the country’s borders and replace key members of T’Challa’s staff. During a routine trip back to Wakanda, T’Challa was cornered by a few of his key advisors and was surprised when they began attempting to fight him. He fought back and defeated them easily, though he was hesitant to harm them for fear that they might be under some sort of foreign control. When he discovered they had, in fact, been replaced by Skrulls, he was furious. Immediately he returned to America, pledging his assistance to defeat the Skrulls once and for all.
Following the defeat of the Skrulls, T’Challa remained in New York to help with cleanup with intentions of returning to Wakanda to restore order when New York was more stable. Unfortunately, Doom took ahold of the city, taking it to its own dimension and making travel impossible. Now trapped in New York, T’Challa intends to do everything in his power to make things right so that he can once again be in contact with his people and ensure that all is well with his kingdom.

The “Black Panther” The modern day Classic
“Black Panther” a phenomenon in the form of a movie. Usually when we hear about a marvel movie or even a fantasy movie, we expect a movie that will bring us joy and out of reality; However this movie did the exact opposite by having us look at the past combined with the present in order to dissect our society. The movie’s fantasy aspects, such as the metal “vibranium” and T’Challa acquiring the powers of the “Black Panther” makes this movie a family friendly movie. Overall, “Black Panther” was an extraordinary action film that captured the culture, morals, and aspects of its intended audience.
“Black Panther” is a solid action film that can be used as a competitor for other films in this genre. It has the big explosives, one-liners, and “badass” main character as other action films like “Die Hard”, “Terminator”, “Rambo”, etc. The movie captures the culture of the Xhosa tribe. A South African Tribe, whose language we can hear throughout the movie between several interactions. Also, The movie’s intended audience is the Black community in America. The film emphasizes the use of black imagination. Having told a story of oppression and liberation, “Black Panther” tells the typical story of a dark past met with a bright future. In the film, the main character, better known as T’Challa is forced to face the issue of revealing Wakanda to the world. Facing the elders who still live in the past, ask him to keep Wakanda under the radar. Eventually he is challenged by an unknown family member known as Erik Killmonger. Many people who watched Black Panther, loves Michael B. Jordan’s portrayal of the character because Killmonger was a revolutionary. He wanted to help the oppressed around the world by giving them weapons made from vibranium. He questioned that throughout history, many African Americans were oppressed and killed, where was Wakanda? Eventually, Killmonger and T’Challa battle a very hard fought battle, which is the final battle to determine the true king of Wakanda. However, before Killmonger, we are introduced to the stereotypical comic book villain Ulysses Klaue better known as “Klaw”. He possess a robotic arm made out of vibranium he stole from Wakanda the first time. He is the typical villain with a driving passion to obliterate anyone in their path to make money or rule the world. However, after his confrontation with Killmonger, he was pushed off the big screen.
In “Black Panther” race plays a major role. Since Wakanda has the most powerful metal in the world, it was able to avoid the many trauma’s Africa faced. In the movie you can hear many jokes about the white race, often called “Colonizer”. Wakanda never witnessed imperialization of colonialism or being enslaved. They decided to stay hidden from the world and turns its back on the world’s problems. The apparent use of “Colonizer” shows how the white race has in the past, abused their power to put themselves above other races and ethnic groups. This allows Black Panther to connect more to its intended audience.
In all, Black Panther has a good balance of action and fantasy. When T’Challa was first introduced in “Avengers: Civil War” fans were expecting a movie for the character. The screenwriters did not disappoint as Black Panther did better than Civil War. Like stated before the movie is an extraordinary Marvel film. Other films like Doctor Strange focused more on fantasy and not a balance between fantasy and action. The film is a prominent film in the black community and attracts the attention of any good marvel fanatic. The use of black imagination mixed with a charismatic villain with a revolutionary attitude is the key to a good Marvel film.

Hell To Pay (Part 1)
I remember my little island. It was always warm, with a slight breeze that would shake the trees throughout the day. The water was as clear as a crystal and the sand was white and scalded your feet if you stood in one place too long. The fishermen sailed every morning to catch the fish for supper, and the field workers picked the fruit and vegetables-- the plantains were always my favorite, as they could be cooked sweet, or crunchy, or mashed. I would walk along the shoreline, allowing the cool water to wash over my feet. I looked up at the horizon, the sea and sky meeting at an imparting line.
"Ana!" A strong voice called. I turned toward the sound-- it came from the forest. Mother. I turned and ran to her in out hut at the edge of the forest, where the grass met the sand and the palm trees thinned out. I walked through the door and saw her dressed up her crowning day robes. She noticed me from the corner of her eye and smiled, ushering me closer.
"You look beautiful,Mama" I said, admiring the colors of her robes. Instead of the plain beiges and browns we normally wore, her dress was a palette of bright reds and blues and greens. It was the most expensive thing the owned.
She turned behind her and reached into a basket, pulling out a dress similar to hers. She turned back to me slowly, a smile spread across her face, and held the garment out toward me.
"And now you will look the same, cariña" she replied. I stood in awe, staring at the garment before me. I reached out a hand and gently stroked the fabric, afraid to even touch it. I only thought of how much it must have cost her-- she herself didn't own a proper crowning dress until she was married. I looked up at her and threw my arms around her waist, squeezing her tightly.
"Thank you, Mama" I said, smiling from ear to ear. She stroked my hair back gently.
"You're welcome, my sweet" she replied, beginning to pry my arms from around her. "Now, let's get ready".
I retrieved the dress and took it to my small room at the back of the hut, where I began to dress myself, slipping the dress over my head carefully so as to not damage it. I smoothed the fabric over my torso with my hands, adjusting the crossing straps over my shoulders and chest. I began to braid my hair, pulling it to the side and tucking any loose strands behind my ear. Mama walked in and smiled at me.
"Hermosa" she said, taking a breath in and twirling the end of my braid with her finger. I let out a breath and pouted.
"Mama, thank you for the dress, but I don't see why we have to go. It is for the new Chief. We are just commoners. What difference will it make if we go or not?" I asked.
She looked down st me sternly. "Anacaona" she said. I always knew I was in trouble when she called my by my full name.
"I named you after the great Taino chieftain herself, the reason we are all here today. I know that we are not royalty or nobility, but we still have honor and pride in our island. So, we must go" she said, turning out at the end. I dropped my head, staring at the floor in embarrassment. I felt her leave the room, but return just moments later. She held her first under my gaze and flipped it over, opening her hand and revealing a pair of gold earrings. My eyes widened and I looked up at her.
"Mama, I cannot-"
"I am not giving them to you, mijita. I am allowing you to wear them tonight, to make the ceremony a bit more bearable for you" she replied. A smirk stretched across her lips as she unclipped them and put them on me. I stroked them gently, feeling the weight pull on my ears.
"Now, let's go" she said softly, leading me out of the room. We both made our way to the center of the forest where a crowd had already formed. We couldn't even see the stage where the new Chief would be crowned. While Mama made small talk with our surrounding neighbors, I played with the children, who would be even more bored than I would. Many of the gawked at my new dress, having never seen such beautiful colors before. Mama was lucky, as she came from the wealthiest of the Taino tribes-- although it was the first to be destroyed. Many of the people from the village came from poorer tribes who were not considered of any importance.
The drums sounded, signaling the beginning of the ceremony. The crowd all kneeled as the old Chief came upon the stage. The clave sticks echoed through the trees, exciting the coquí frogs hidden in the bushes. He raised his arms, silencing the crowd.
"Today we, the remaining descendants of our great Chieftain Anacaona, come together to celebrate the crowning of my son, Gadriel Paz, as our new Chief" he said, his voice booming in the dark around us. We clapped, some hooted, others simply remained still. I sighed and looked around the crowd, my eyes stopping at a gap in the trees, revealing the dark waves crashing onto the shore.  I longed to be anywhere but here; politics did not entertain me the way the ocean did. I looked over to my mother, who's head was bowed in respect.
"Mama," I whispered, "I have to use the bathroom".
"Hurry back" she whispered in response, annoyance written across her face, even though her head remained bowed. I nodded and quickly slipped through the crowd, keeping low to not attract the Chief's attention during his speech. I made my way to the edge of the forest, feeling the change in texture of the ground, from bumpy and grassy to soft and sandy.
I looked out across the now black ocean against the night sky, spattered with white stars. The horizon was no longer visible. The breeze was stronger now, sending a chill up my spine. I crossed my arms, rubbing them with my hands to keep warm. Deciding I would be warmer with the body heat of the crowd, I turned around, ready to enter the forest once more, when my hairs stood on end. I turned back to the ocean.
The horizon was not visible, but not because it was dark. With the slightest light of the moon, a silhouette could be made out on the surface of the water. A massive object, rectangular in shape, seemed to be resting at the edge of the reef, bobbing slowly with the waves. It was unlike anything I had seen before.
I turned to run back into the forest, ready to alert the others, when something else caught my eye. At the edge of the shore a torch was stuck into the sand, illuminating a boat. It was not one of ours. Someone else was here.
A rustle came from the trees behind me. I quickly turned and was met by a man nearly twice my size. The light from the forest behind him cast his silhouette, outlining his massive arms. He lowered a torch of his own, revealing his face in the orange glow. He was older, with tattoos scattered across his neck and chest, and one on his hand that held the torch as well. A grin was spread across his face as he kneeled down to me, face to face.
"Why, hello there darlin'" he said, his piece gruff, "what's your name?".
I was frozen in place. I managed to swallow before opening my mouth.
"Anacaona" I said.
"Well that's a mouthful. Can I call you Ana?" He asked. Hesitantly, I nodded my head, not saying a word.
"Alright then Ana. I'm Klaw".
So, this is (if you haven't already picked up) going to be a Black Panther fix centered around Klaue/Klaw, and will be VERY smutty. It'll be my first time writing smut so please, bear with me, and don't be afraid to give feedback! Let me know how to make it better.

Hell To Pay (Part 12)
It was hard to tell how long I'd been in the cell. It was a dark cave, with bright fluorescent lights everywhere. It was nearly impossible to know if it was still daytime or night.
After what felt like hours, I heard rushed footsteps approaching. I pushed myself off the ground and gripped the bars, pressing myself against them to see who was coming down the hallway. To my surprise, Ross was being ushered down the hallway, accompanied by one of the women from Korea. Just as they were passing by, he stopped and looked at me, with a shocked face.
"Cain?" He said surprised. I was just as shocked to see him here. "How did you get here?"
"I could ask you the same thing" I replied. He chuckled.
"Well, I was brought here after I was shot when your guys broke out Klaue" he said. I felt my heart break at the mention of his name, and looked down. I sucked in a breath, attempting to hold back tears, before looking back up.
"He's dead. Erik... crossed us. He killed him" I said, my voice cracking at the end.
"We have to go, the Queen Mother and Shuri are waiting" the woman said, grabbing his arm. I pressed myself closer to the bars.
"Wait, what happened?" I asked. She turned to me with a painful look.
"The king is dead" she said. I felt my stomach drop. My face fell, and I was frozen. Erik had won, and that only meant one thing for me.
"No, please, take me with you" I pleaded, extending an arm through the bars. The woman shook her head and took a step away.
"Please!" I screamed, my voice cracking. I felt the tears flowing, and sniffled before continuing. "He'll kill me-"
"Klaue killed many-"
"I'm not Klaue" I replied. "He was wrong, I know that, but he's the only person I had. All my life. I loved him...". I saw a slight change in her face, one of empathy. She turned away quickly, and I could see her brush away a tear from her face.
"You loved him, the king?" I asked. She looked at me with tear-filled eyes.
"I know exactly how it feels for someone you love to be ripped from you, more than anyone else" I said. "I want Erik dead for what he did, and I know you do too. I can help".
She looked at me a while, and Ross turned to her, leaning in a bit.
"She never came up in any of our files. She's clean. And you need all the help you can get" he said lowly. She took a deep breath and straightened herself before stepping up to the bars. She reached over and pressed something, and the bars slid open. I stepped out and nodded to her.
"Thank you" I said. She nodded in reply, then looked to Ross.
"We have to go" she said. She led us down the hallway, out of the cellar and through the jungle. It was nighttime, and I was reminded of my little island, and how I would run through the forests with ease. Soon we came to a stop, and came upon two women- the Queen, and the younger girl from the council meeting, Shuri.
"Nakia, who is this man?" The Queen asked. Upon seeing me, her eyes widened. "And why have you brought her?"
"This is Agent Ross, he saved my life," the woman, Nakia, replied, "and she wants revenge for Klaue. She will help us defeat Erik". The Queen glared at me, but nodded.
"Where is Okoye?" She asked.
"Okie is not coming. She and the Dora Milaje will serve the new king" Nakia replied. She ushered us to follow her, and we began trekking the jungle.
After what felt like hours, the sun rose. We had climbed to the highest mountain, where snow covered the ground. The wind was brutal, and the cold was unbearable. I was shivering, and rubbed my arms with my hands, attempting to maintain some form of warmth.
"Here" Ross said, unwrapping his cloak. He handed it to me, and without a second thought I wrapped it around myself, sighing in relief. It wasn't much, but it was warmer than before.
"Thank you" I said. He nodded, then turned to Nakia.
"So, where are we going?" He asked.
"We are taking the Heart-Shaped Herb to Jabariland. It gives the person who takes it heightened abilities. It's what made T'Challa so strong" she replied.
"Nakia" the Queen said, "I don't like this. The herb belongs to us. We may be creating a bigger monster with M'Baku... you should take it yourself".
"I am a spy with no army" she replied, "I wouldn't stand a chance".
The Queen sighed and nodded solemnly. "We'll go" she said. Just then, sounds came from all around us. Nakia and the Queen seemed very alert, and ushered us into a circle. A group came out of the snow, surrounding us, and came in closer with their weapons.
"State your business" one of the men said in a deep voice. Nakia looked up.
"We come to speak with the great White Gorilla" she replied. The man glared at her, a grimace on his face, before looking to his men and nodding. He struck his staff twice on the ground before motioning for us to follow. The men led us up the mountain, and through a series of caves and tunnels. Eventually, light broke through, and we emerged into what seemed to be a throne room, where a very large man with white markings was seated. He stared at us with a hard face, and silence filled the room until the Queen stepped forward and spoke.
"My son was murdered in ritual combat" she said.
"Were the odds fair?" The man asked, in a deep, yet monotone voice.
"Yes but-"
"So it was less a murder than a defeat" he said, cutting her off.
"Do not run our noses in it!" Shuri said.
"Silence!" The man said again. "I make the pronouncements here." Ross took a step forward from beside me.
"Look, your Highness, the new king is a U.S-". He was cut off by the man making an almost barking sound at him, which spread to the men around him, until Ross stopped talking.
"You cannot talk!" The man yelled. "One more word and I will feed you to my children". I saw him tense up, and the Queen looked to Shuri.
"I'm kidding, we are vegetarians" the man continued, and began to laugh.
"Great Gorilla M'Baku," Nakia said, stepping forward. She took something out of her bag- a round, purple glowing object, which I assumed to be the herb- and presented it to him. "This is why we are here, to offer you the herb. An outsider sits on our throne. Only you can help us stop him".
The man, M'Baku, seemed taken aback at first. Suddenly, the Queen kneeled before him. Shuri followed, and Ross and I looked at each other before following their lead. M'Baku stood, looking down at us.
"Come with me" he said. Nakia and the Queen looked at each other, confused, but did as he said. We were lead out of the throne room and again out into the snow, across a large stretch and to a shed. When we entered, the Queen gasped, and ran ahead, throwing herself in the ground.
"Impossible!" Nakia said. She and Shuri ran ahead as well, only then revealing the king laying in snow and unconscious. The three began to fuss over him.
"Is he breathing?" Nakia asked.
"He is in a coma. Barely slinging to life" M'Baku replied, looking down at them. "One of our fishermen found him at the edge of the river boarder. He brought him to me".
"Why do you have him in the snow?" Shuri asked, nearly scolding M'Baku.
"It is the only thing keeping him from joining the ancestors" he replied quickly. Shuri sighed.
"We need to get him to my lab, I can heal him there" she said.
"Take him, he will be dead in seconds" M'Baku challenged. The theee of them looked at each other sorrowfully, when the Queen looked to Nakia.
"Nakia, the herb" she said. Nakia quickly pulled it out, and gave it to the Queen, who began to mash it up.
"I call upon the ancestors. I call upon Bast. I am here with my son, T'Challa... heal him" she said. I felt a stirring in my chest; this was all to familiar, reminding me of my childhood on my island. They gave it to the king, and began to cover him with snow while chanting. M'Baku and I had turned around, knowing this was an intimate ritual, but I could still feel their words. I closed my eyes and said my own little prayer for him. Soon after, I heard a loud gasp and soft, happy cries. I turned around and saw the king sitting up, confused and disoriented for a moment.  The three women hugged him, and he looked to M'Baku, who gave him a proud nod. He then smiled, and looked about once more.
"Can I have a blanket?" He asked. They began to laugh, and someone rushed over with a cloak. They helped him get out of the snow and change into warmer clothes, then we all walked back to M'Baku's throne room to discuss what had happened since T'Challa fell.
"Killmonger has the full support of our military" Nakia said. "And... he burned the garden of the Heart-Shaped Herb".
"Of course he did" Ross said. "Thad what he was trained to do. His unit used to work with the CIA to destabilize foreign countries. They would always strike at transitions of power like an election year or the death of a monarch. You get control of the government, the military..."
"Our resources" T'Challa whispered.
"All our Vibranium, my designs" Shuri added. Ross looked towards me and nodded.
"You worked with him, what was his plan?" He asked. T'Challa looked up and made eye contact, making me feel ashamed. I looked away and shrugged.
"I don't know. He kept things to himself, wouldn't even tell us his last name. Everything was a spur of the moment with him... I see why now" I replied. They didn't seem convinced with my answer, and I sighed before continuing.
"He reached out to Klaw, offered him the arm in exchange for helping him steal the Vibranium. After that, we were just supposed to sell it and be on our way, not needed anymore. Things went south when Klaw got captured, and we had to run. He wanted Klaw to take him to Wakanda, and when Klaw refused..."
"He killed him" Ross said. I bit my lip and nodded, looking at the ground. Silence fell over us for a while, before M'Baku came over and asked to speak with the king. He nodded and we all dispersed, giving them time alone.
I walked over to a window and sat with my back pressed against the glass, turning my head to the side and gazing across the snowy mountains. I never thought there was snow in Africa, and I'd been living just hours from here for years. I sat and contemplated the events of the past 48 hours, shaking my head in disbelief.
After a few minutes, I heard footsteps. From the corner of my eye I saw the king approaching. I stood and faced him, hands at my sides, like I was told to do as a young girl whenever the village Chief came around.
"What is your name?" He asked.
"Ana Cain"
"You are Klaue's partner" he said, sounding like a mix between a question and a statement. I looked down at my feet.
"For eight years. He proposed" I replied, nodding slightly. I looked up to find the king staring intensely at me.
"I know how he was. He stole from your country and murdered your people... I know that all too well and there's no excuse for it. But I loved him,  and I will kill Erik for what he did. Whatever you choose to do with me after, I don't care" I said. He pursed his lips at me and squinted.
"There is more to your story than you let on" he said. I took a breath and looked up at him.
"You will help us overthrow Erik. And when that is done... I will find a way to deal with you". I nodded, and let out a breath after he walked away, looking back down.
I didn't know if I would survive this fight, or what the king had in mind as my punishment. But one thing was certain; there would be hell to pay.

Hell To Pay (Part 4)
I reached for my gun and readied it, Ulysses doing the same. He lead the way in the dark, moving towards the door slowly. A flicker of light appeared, and he shot. And then something completely out of this world happened.
In the blink of an eye, a silver stream ran between the two of us. We were spun around, and I felt as if someone had punched me in the gut. When it was all over, I moved to point my gun at someone, but it was no longer in my hand. I looked around and found my gun and Klaw's resting on his desk, all the bullets emptied out and laid in a row. I turned back around and jumped when I saw a silver-haired man standing in the corner.
"What the-"
At the same time, a girl with dark hair walked in, her eyes glowing red, and a ball of light the same color floated between her fingers. I took a step back closer to Klaw.
"Yeah, the Enhanced, Struckers prized pupils" he laughed, taking a seat at the desk. I raised an eyebrow-- I'd heard about "the twins" from Klaw. He reached over and took a dish, holding it out to them. "You want a candy?" He asked. The two didn't move. I took a step back and sat on the desk.
"I was sorry to hear about Strucker... but then, he knew what kind of world he was helping to create" he continued, "human life. Not a growth market". The twins looked at each other in confusion.
"Y-you didn't know?" He asked. They stood silent. He leaned closer.
"Is this your first time intimidating someone?" He whispered. Again, they remained silent. He leaned back and chuckled, patting my leg. "Well, I'm afraid I'm not that afraid". I smirked at the comment.
The girl stepped forward. "Everybody is afraid of something" she said.
"Cuttlefish" Klaw replied instantly. The twins looked at each other in confusion, and I simply rolled my eyes.
"Deep sea fish. They make lights, disco lights, to hypnotize their prey. And then whomp" he said, pretending to snatch something. The air held a sense of awkwardness.
"I saw a documentary, it was terrifying-"
A silver stream flashed again as the brother appeared beside me, unwrapping a candy from the dish. Klaw turned his attention back to the girl.
"So, if you're going to fiddle with my brain, and make me see a giant cuttlefish, then I know you don't do business, and I know you're not in charge," he said, standing up. "And I only deal with the man in charge".
A slight whir sounded from outside the glass. I turned slowly to see a metallic figure floating just outside. Just as I moved to grab Klaw, the figure came crashing through the glass, taking Klaw with him, and dropping him on the floor just outside the door. I ran over to find the figure towering over Klaw as he laid on the floor.
"There is no man in charge," it said in a deep voice, "let's talk business".
I was sent down to the work floor to get Klaw's second-in-command. When I reached him, I told him he needed to come up, but to keep calm and don't stare. He looked confused, but nodded and began to walk away when I grabbed his arm.
"Give me your gun".
We ran back upstairs to another room that was normally heavily guarded, but was not at the moment. The others were inside, and "Seco" was directed to open up the vault. I stood next to Klaw.
"Are you okay?" I whispered, looking forward.
"I've had worse" he replied before walking up to the vault, removing one of the tubes inside and carefully handing it to the robot.
"Upon this rock, I will build my church" he said, " Vibranium" he continued, flipping the tube in his hand before tossing it to the silver haired boy.
"You know, it came at a great personal cost," Klaw said, rubbing the scar on his neck, "it's worth billions". The robot chuckled and closed his eyes, opening them a second later.
"Now so are you" he said. Seco's phone began buzzing excessively, calling our attention. I took it from him, staring in disbelief as multiple transactions rolled in in millions. "It's all under your... dummy holdings? Finance is so weird" he continued. I showed Klaw the phone, and he held it gently, as if dropping it would make all the money disappear.
"But, I always say, keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which. I slowly looked up at Klaw, who did the same thing.
"Stark" he whispered, turning his attention to the robot.
"What?" The robot asked.
"Tony Stark used to say that. To me. You're one of his" Klaw said.
"What? I'm not-" he robot replied, grabbing Klaw's arm. I gasped and quickly pulled out the gun, pointing it at the robot, only to feel it being pulled down the the ground. I looked at it and saw the same red glow wrapped around it. The girl.
"I'm not. You think I'm one of Stark's puppets? His hollow men? I mean look at me, do I look like Iron Man? Stark is nothing-"
The glow around the gun disappeared as an audible slice sounded. I froze. Klaw stepped back, one arm missing. My eyes widened and I covered my mouth in disbelief.
"Im sorry, I'm s- ooh... I'm sure that's gonna be okay, I'm sorry. It's just that I don't understand, don't compare me with Stark!" The robot yelled, kicking Klaw. I heard his grunt as he fell down the steps, bringing me out of my daze. I brought up my gun and began firing at the robot, emptying the magazine. He simply chuckled and pushed me, making me fly and hit the wall behind me. I could hear Seco's footsteps as he ran down the stairs, leaving me laid on the floor as the robot came closer.
"It's a thing with me, Stark is... He's a sickness!" He spat above me.
"Aw, Junior" another voice said, one that I'd heard before. A familiar red and gold suit landed on the ground next to me with a thud. "You're gonna break your old man's heart".
"If I have to" the robot replied.
"Nobody has to break anything" another, deeper voice said. It came from a very tall, muscular man with long blond hair.
"Clearly you've never made an omelette" the robot replied. I took their small talk as an opportunity to get out. I reached for my empty gun and quietly got up off the floor, scrambling to the door and made my way down the stairs to find Seco trying to get Klaw off the floor.
"Move" I said, pushing him out of the way. I took off my button down and attempted to stop the bleeding from his amputated arm.
"Please don't die... please don't die" I whispered as he panted heavily. Blood soaked through the thin fabric, staining it a deep red. I scrambled to his good side, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Get him up" I grunted. Together we lifted him off the floor and managed to get him down the stairs. Once we emerged on the main floor, a fight between the robot and the other strangers had broken out. We moved into a corner, and leaned Klaw against a wall.
"Shoot them" he grunted.
"Which ones?" Seco asked.
"All of them!" Klaw shouted back. Seco nodded and ran in the direction of the armory, where hopefully more workers were. I pulled him back up, buckling slightly under his weight.
"We gotta get out of here" I panted. We shuffled across the main floor to the lift and took it down, the fighting inside making us swing wildly the entire way. Once we were on the ground, we made our way to a car. I managed to lift Klaw just a bit more to get him inside, then scrambled to the driver's side and peeled off.
"Lee, stay with me" I said, trying to sound as calm as I could. I reached over and gently slapped his face, seeing him start to doze off.
"Hey, come on. You can't fall asleep baby, come on, stay with me" I said again. I smacked him a little harder, earning a small groan. I sighed in relief, knowing he could at least respond. I stepped down on the gas, speeding the rest of the way to the nearest hospital. God, Lee was going to hate me.
We pulled up to an emergency entrance , and I rushed out of the car, running to the other side to get him out. He nearly fell, and I staggered back as I tried to catch him. After I managed to get a good grip on him, I nearly dragged him into the hospital.
"I need a doctor!" I called out. Audible gasps came from around the room, and a few people ran up to us. Suddenly everyone stopped in their tracks.
"Help him!" I screamed, struggling to keep him standing as I felt him falling limp.
"He is Klaue, the killer. He is wanted for many crimes," one doctor said, "we cannot help him. Not after all that he's done". A flash of fear rushed through me, immediately replaced with rage. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at the doctor.
"You're gonna fix him right now, and you're not gonna report to anyone, or I can have a hundred men around this hospital in an instant" I yelled, waving the gun around.
The doctor, wide eyed with fear, nodded quickly and motioned for a gurney. Another nurse wheeled one over and he helped me set Klaue on it, who was now passed out. I grabbed the doctors lab coat, pulling him close and pressed the gun to his jaw.
"You fix him, alright? And if he dies... so do you" I said through gritted teeth. The doctor nodded again, and ran after the gurney the second I let him go. I watched as they wheeled him away down the hallway until they were out of view. I sighed, and looked around the emergency room to find everyone still staring at me. Eventually they returned to their work, and I found a seat against a wall.
I sat down and tucked the empty gun into my belt. I looked down at my hands, which were covered in blood, and attempted to wipe some off onto my pants. With little luck, I pressed my palms together and leaned forward in my seat, closing my eyes and saying a little prayer-- something I hadn't done in a long time.
To the Great Chief, to the ancestors, and to all the Gods above. Please keep him alive.

The Deal part 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warning: Hmm… Ulysses definitely gets pretty handsy in this one. 😉
Pairing: Ulysses x You
You entered the grand hall, people holding cocktails and eating finger food, laughing, and looking glamorous. You weren’t prepared for your evening to turn out like this, you held onto Ulysses’ arm for comfort.
“Don’t worry little rabbit,” he said taking a whiskey from the waiter “I’ll do the talking, you just have to be your charming self.” He smiled at you before taking a sip of his drink.
You weren’t sure what he meant by that, but you weren’t willing to admit him how confused and anxious you were either. You took a blue cocktail from one of the trays and sipped on it as you looked around. Whoever organized this really went all out, this was a ballroom filled with lavish furnishings and a buffet with anything anyone could want.
“Ulysses!” A tall man approached the two of you with spring in his step, he obviously already had a few drinks. The two men greeted each other with a firm handshake and some back patting.
“And who is this lovely creature” the man asked turning to you.
“This is Y/N,” Ulysses said as you tried to shake the man’s hand, the man lingered a little too long as he attempted to kiss your hand making a face like he was about to say something lewd, Ulysses noticed this so he added “My girlfriend”.
The man let go of your hand as he jerked his head in Ulysses’ direction “Girlfriend!?” he laughed “No way, you’re not the type to have a girlfriend! You just don’t want me flirting with her!”
“I assure you-“ Ulysses tried to add but the man wasn’t listening as he drunkenly interrupted him.
“You just want her to yourself! Prove to me that this is your girlfriend!” he waved a finger in Ulysses’ face.
You were really fed up with this man, you looked at Ulysses unsure of what to do and he actually looked flustered. You’ve never seen him look nervous, he tried to change the subject but the man wouldn’t budge as he tried to flirt with you more aggressively, trying to touch you and shouting that there was no way that the two of you were together. Ulysses had an idea, he leaned in close to your ear “Can I kiss you?”. You looked at him stunned, not comprehending why he would ask such a thing all of a sudden. “Just to prove to this drunk idiot that we’re a couple”. You slightly nodded your head. Ulysses put his prosthetic hand on your back and with his other hand he tilted your chin, he move his face inches away from yours, he looked into your eyes just to make sure he had your approval. When he saw you closing your eyes he leaned in and kissed you. The kiss was surprisingly gentle and tender, it seemed like he was slowly losing himself as the kiss became a bit more passionate, his hand was now on your neck as he pressed himself into you. It made you dizzy but thankfully he held you firmly against his body. The man was shouting for you to stop already but Ulysses lingered for a moment longer before he let you go. You let out a small gasp as your lips disconnected.
“Alright! I believe you! Enough!” the man laughed.
Ulysses chatted with the man for a while, thanks to how drunk the man was, he had a very loose tongue, he gave Ulysses all the information he needed, he even sent him several messages and emails confirming what he was saying. Ulysses seemed satisfied as he approached a few more people manipulating them into telling him what he wanted with the information he already had.
At one point in the evening you snuck out of the ballroom and Ulysses led you into a well-furnished office. “What are we doing here?” you whispered as Ulysses locked the door and started looking through desk drawers.
“I’m looking for documents with this symbol on it,” He crudely drew a strange symbol on a piece of napkin “Help me look, you’re good at that,” he added smirking.
“We shouldn’t be in here,” you half whispered.
“I know,” he said as he started flipping through books.
Reluctantly you started looking for the papers. Literally five minutes later you heard a commotion outside the door. Why is this door locked? Someone said. Who’s in there!? Someone started banging on the door.
Panicked, you looked at Ulysses who was obviously taken by surprise “Shit. Those morons should have been in a drunken stupor by now. The head of security must have changed.” He started looking around for anther way to escape but it was clear that, that door was the only way out. The banging was getting louder.
“I have an I idea,” you said signaling for Ulysses to come closer as you hopped onto the desk and ruffled your hair making it look a bit disheveled. You let one of your dress straps slide off your shoulder, exposing even more of your cleavage.
“I’m liking this” Ulysses smiled.
“Shut up. Hurry. Kiss me,” you said tugging on his shirt.
Ulysses froze for a second, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly open not believing what you just said but he quickly snapped out of it “So you enjoyed that huh?” he said smiling even wider. You tried to give him an annoyed look. “No need to tell me twice” he said as he grabbed the back of your neck and crashed his lips against yours. He was a lot rougher than before, it really seemed like he wasn’t holding back this time. The two of you started making out while your hands explored each other, Ulysses wasted no time as his tongue licked your bottom lip and then he deepened the kiss, making you squeak from how bold he was. The banging on the door became louder and you heard more shouting from the other side, but it was as if Ulysses didn’t hear anything, as he hiked up your dress and his hand moved up your thigh, reaching your ass and giving it a little squeeze.  You couldn’t believe the effect this was having on you, you were completely lost in how it felt to be touched by him, the taste of the whiskey on his lips, his tongue on yours. You managed to loosen his tie and undo a few buttons as your hand made it’s way under his shirt, as the kiss became even more passionate you couldn’t help yourself but drag your nails over his chest, you could feel Ulysses smiling against your lips when he felt it. He pressed himself against you, his prosthetic against the small of your back, his hips between your legs rocking into you. With one final bang the men broke down the door.
“Gentlemen! I’m afraid you caught us at a tender moment.” He said breaking away and panting a bit.
“Didn’t you hear us-!“ a security guard angrily approached the two of you.
“Forgive me, you know what it’s like when you’re in the mood.” He helped you hop off the desk “I can never deny my lady anything.”
“Wait just a minute-!”
“We’re leaving! We’re leaving! Honestly! A bit of privacy would have been nice!” he said leading you out the door as he squeezed between the men.
You heard the men behind you say something about horny idiots, and truthfully you were glad that your plan worked, things could have gone south real fast if it didn’t.
“That was dangerous” you said to Ulysses as you hurried outside to the car.
“You mean thrilling!” he chuckled as he opened the car door for you.
You gave him a stern look “If it wasn’t for my quick thinking, we could have been in serious trouble.”
Ulysses sat down in the driver’s seat and started the engine “In that case, It was really clever of me to bring you. I hope you have more ideas like that,” he said licking his lips.
You didn’t dare look at him as you recalled what had happened just a few moments prior.
You sat back in your seat and you took in  a deep breath which filled you with the scent of his cologne making the memories of how he felt against you flood your mind. You looked at him, he kept glancing at you, smiling that wicked smile of his. You quickly looked away, knowing how red your face probably was.
“Watch the road,” you tried to say coolly but your voice cracked.

The Deal
Part 1
Author’s note: I really hope you guys like it!!! If you do, I’ll write the next part.
Pairing: Ulysses x You
Tumblr media
Imagine… You were assigned by Fury to work undercover as a secretary for Ulysses. You were to take pictures of his documents and report on any important information about Ulysses’ endeavors. You never really got attached to any of the Avengers, and you didn’t really feel like you fit in among them anyway since you were just an ordinary human. Therefore, a new mission was something you really needed for a long time.
In the beginning you were quite nervous, the men liked to tease and annoy you any chance they got, but they would stop immediately when they heard Ulysses’ booming voice.
“How many times have I told you to leave her alone!?” he roared as he eyed the guy that was bothering you. “The next person that interrupts her in her duties will have their fingers cut off!.” He turned to you and his tone softened “You alright, love?”
You gave him a small nod and smiled. When you first met Klaue he seemed quite intimidating, he had to be, given the kind of business he was in. Despite his sometimes scary demeanor you were starting to really like him. Yeah, you were starting to like him a little too much. That wasn’t good.
He turned to the men, scowling and with a single whistle he had them go back to their work. “What do you have for me?” he asked extending his hand.
You handed him a bunch of papers that required his signature, as he took them his hand brushed against yours, you withdrew your hand quickly. Too quickly.
“Are you afraid of me?” he asked looking deep into your eyes.
His intense stare wasn’t helping your nerves. You swallowed hard, he noticed this and a smirk tugged on the side of his lip. This bastard knew exactly what he was doing. You quickly composed yourself before you answered. “No, Sir. Will that be all?”
He held your gaze and took a step closer “Is there anything else you’d like to give me?” he asked now openly smiling.
You somehow managed a stern “No.” as you turned on your heel and walked back to your desk. Once you sat down you made use of those breathing exercises to calm your nerves.
-
It was the end of the day, somehow the door to Ulysses’ office was unlocked and you managed to sneak in so you could take photos of a few missing documents. You kept glancing at the door but you were so busy looking for those papers that you didn’t notice the shadowy figure standing right next to you.
You found what you were looking for tucked in one of the books on his desk. “Got it.” You whispered to yourself and at that same moment someone grabbed you by the wrist, you gave out a small yelp.
Ulysses clicked his tongue in disapproval “What do we have here?” he took the documents out of your hand, while still holding your wrist with his prosthetic hand.
You looked behind him, the bookcase revealed a dark passageway. No wonder you didn’t notice him come in. Of course he would have an alternative exit just in case. You were kicking yourself for being so reckless. Should you try to escape now and let the whole plan go to hell?
“Now, why would you need these? Hmm?” he asked putting the documents in front of you on his desk.
You decided to play dumb as the prosthetic seemed to get tighter around your arm “I’m sorry, I was looking for something else. It’s so dark in here. I just made a mistake.” That was one lengthy and clumsy explanation, your only hope was for him to think that you actually were that ditzy and dumb. Come on, just take the bait.
He eyed you for a moment “Come now. You’re smarter than that.”
Shit
He walked closer, trapping you between his broad frame and his desk as he maintained a firm grip on your arm. He leaned in right next to your ear as he whispered “I know what you were doing.”
A shiver ran up your spine, there was no way of escape. Despite how frightened you were you couldn’t help feeling turned on by the situation. There were many times that you would sit at your desk, fantasizing about him just bending you over his desk and fucking your brains out. What were you thinking! You were in danger and all you could think of was having sex?! You trembled as he pressed his body against yours, the desk was now digging a bit painfully into your back.
“How should I punish you?” he growled.
The cat is out of the bag! Abort! Abort! Your mind was screaming but you just stood there, unable to move as you stared at him wide-eyed.
To your surprise, Ulysses started to laugh “Don’t look at me like that! You’re like a little frightened rabbit. Calm down, I may be ruthless at times but I’m not unreasonable.” He let go of your arm, grabbed you by the waist and hoisted you to sit on his desk. “Besides… I like you too much.” He added smirking mischievously.
“So… what are you going to do to me?” you finally managed to choke out.
He flicked his tongue over his bottom lip as he looked you up and down. He rested his hands on either sides of your frame “There are many things I would like to do to you, but… first business then pleasure” he gave out a heavy sigh “Here is the deal. I’m going to give you a phone, and you must answer it, no matter where you are or what you are doing.”
“Why? What will you be calling me about?” you asked nervously.
“You’ll find out” he gave you a wink “but you simply must answer, no matter what. If you don’t, then that will be a problem and I will really have to punish you. Do we have a deal?” he leaned back and extended his hand to you.
It’s not like you really had any other choice “Deal.” You said taking his hand.
