I bought a textured screen protector for my iPad what for to draw with and Holy Moly me oh my hot damn does it ever feel 80,000x better to draw on now!!!
The feeling of drawing/illustrating/attempting to paint on glass officially SUCKS!
Outstanding. Superb. Delightful. Magnificent.
Anyway to Christen it, here’s a random undead Warlock from WoW (vanilla specifically) (Turtle-WoW even more specifically)

What are the Hermits?
Hermit species list! Might expand on this in the future
I also made up species cause I have no idea what “Voidwalker” or “Blazeborn” mean
Bdubs: Human / Dreamer / Shade
Technically human but has inhuman properties and is pretty uncanny valley! Was a sun god that one time
Cub: Vex
Has illusion magic that allows him to disguise himself as human, and occasionally as other players. Was infected by Skulk for a bit
Doc: Creeper / Goat / Robot
Exactly what it says on the tin! Also grows tomato vines around his horns sometimes
Etho: Phantom / Glitch
Most obviously a Phantom, and has bony wings. He’s also a glitch in the game and will warp himself and his surroundings a little bit. The part of his face covered by his mask is skeletal. Might also be a failed clone?
False: Eagle
Gem: Not-deer
Seems like a normal deer player at first glance, but there’s something a bit uncanny about her
Scar: Human / Vex
A Vex, although he’s not a full one like Cub. He usually stores his magic in crystals
Grian: Magpie / Watcher
A pesky bird to his core. He’s also pretty eldritch and very powerful when he wants to be
Hypno: Beetle / Hypnotist
Normally keeps his wings hidden, and most of the time he looks human enough. Has strong magic and is another resident of the uncanny valley
Jevin: Slime
Impulse: Imp
Has magic, although it’s not very strong
Skizz: Angel
Can switch from humanoid to biblically accurate, and likes to use that ability to mess with his friends. Quite a bit more powerful than Impulse
Iskall: Cyborg
Joe: Poltergeist / Eldritch
Not really undead or technically a spirit, since he was never alive or had a spirit in the first place. Can basically do whatever he wants, he is Joe Hills after all
Keralis: Puppet / Eldritch / Body-snatcher
Puppet possessed by an eldritch entity. He’s capable of taking over bodies and effectively banishing the host into the nothingness, although he hasn’t done so in a long while
Mumbo: Human / Vampiric
Despite being a vampire, he doesn’t drink blood, he just gets really bad sunburns sometimes
Pearl: Moth / Lunar
Has a strong connection to the moon and the markings on her wings change with its cycle. She was also a Glare while she was the cleaning lady
Ren: Werewolf
Stress: Butterfly / Fae
Very powerful, although she doesn’t use her magic for much more than helping plants grow, although those plants usually turn out pretty weird
Tango: Fire being / Lunar
A being originating from fire itself, and was connected to Decked Out 2 for a while, which was some sort of eldritch parasite. After Season 8, he became a Lunar, although he’s not very happy about it, and most of the others don’t know about it. Has four arms sometimes, but no one knows how the extra arms get there or where they go afterwards
Beef: Minotaur
xB: Sarcastic fringehead
A type of fish! He might also have a few soul stealing properties
Xisuma: Undead / Robot
Spirit inside of a robotic suit. He’s had multiple forms, including being a bee, an axolotl, and a dragon
Zedaph: Satyr / Moth
He can summon himself some cool rosy maple moth wings
Cleo: Undead
As her name suggests, she’s specifically a zombie
Wels: Possessed knight
A possessed suit of armor covering a mannequin

I’ve found precious little time to play as much Dwarf Fortress as I want to, and I’ve found even less time to draw the dwarves! Time for a reckoning! I chose the dwarves of the Axe of Nourishing because they were primarily worshipers of Ingtak-- the dwarven deity of theft. My plan was to build a great Temple of Ingtak and steal a bunch of artifacts to keep inside. The first attempt was the fortress of Joytooth, founded in the year 50. By 52, we developed a serious Giant Cockatiel problem. The mistake was (perhaps) attempting to build a giant open-air metal fortress on the top of a volcano to honor a god who lurks in the shadows. Call it karma. Call it the “agitation bug”. Either way, I dragged my militia to train on top of the barracks with spears and whips in the hope of keeping the maddened birds at bay.
Here you can see Thikut Logemrab (Craftsdwarf) doing his best to make a nice gneiss mug while dead two-ton birds fall through the ceiling of his workshop. On the wall is an engraving of Kthitterbash the Magpie Man stabbing our broker in the face, which seemed to be the historical trigger for the whole “bird war”. Or maybe it was putting Kthitterbash’s skull on display in the craft room. It’s hard to assign blame sometimes.
“Joytooth” was retired in 55 with a small surviving group of soldiers and children, several of whom moved to the next fort-- “Baldbrass”. In the hope of avoiding Total Dwarven Hubris, this time we chose NOT to locate our Temple to a Sneaky God the most conspicuous spot on the map. Also, we have an undead monkey head.

The Ultimate Emo/Scene Name List - WARNING: Long post, and make sure you read the trigger warnings!
Having trouble coming up with a name for yourself? Do you planning on using a part of your real name but can’t find a word to go with it? Well, worry no more!
Today, I’m here to provide as comprehensive a list as possible! I’ve scoured the internet, and some sources have some problematic suggestions. So, my goal is to break down possible names into easy to understand categories. Obviously, this will be a VERY long list, so keep that in mind. There is also a section purely made up of words used in the past that are to be used/reclaimed at one's own risk/discretion due to the words being used to oppress or belittle various minority groups. I will also be sharing my sources at the bottom for stuff I used from online, alongside any trigger warnings that may be needed. Without further ado, let’s go! Also feel free to reblog with suggestions to add!

Oooo 🪶 for bells hells??
Prompt I have chatted a little about a Wings AU for a different prompt a while back. Though that brief summary was essentially Ashton only 😅 Anyways, ficlet!
"Are you sure you want me doin' this? I've never helped anyone preen before in my life," Imogen frets, hands hovering over scraggly blue and black and white feathered wings.
"It's quite alright, darling. I can teach you. It's not terribly complicated," Laudna reassures her, feathers rustling as her shoulders drop a bit so she cane peer back up at Imogen.
"Okay. Okay," Imogen breathes out, trying to calm the flutter of her own papery wings.
"I know my wings are quiet a mess, as it's a bit, mmm, difficult to reach everywhere. But I assure you it's really quite simple. You should be able to see that feathers usually lay going a certain direction. Like so," Laudna instructs, one wing folded close so she can run her own fingers along the feathers. "Preening is just nudging feathers back into alignment and knocking out the loose ones. It's a lot like brushing hair, I suppose," she furthers explains, demonstrating.
"Okay, guess I'll just... start?" Imogen hesitates, fingers hovering over feathers.
A breath, two, then she brushes her fingers down the surface of Laudna's wing.
"You'll need to get your fingers in there, darling," Laudna gently prompts. "If the feathers are lose enough for a little petting to knock loose, they'd fall off with movement."
"Right," Imogen mumbles, bringing her hand back up to the top and slowly sinking her fingers into feathers.
It makes her so nervous. This isn't sort of thing people can do with wings like Imogen's. Honestly, it's hard not to be scared of another's touch when you've got fragile bug wings. Sure, her wings are not so easily torn as an actual luna moth's, but they're certainly more delicate than bird's wings like Laudna's. And Laudna is so delicate already, being stuck between life and death.
"You really don't have to do this if you don't want to, darling," Laudna kindly offers as Imogen spends too long hesitating. "I can use Prestidigitation like I normally do. I'm used to not properly preening."
That steels Imogen's resolve. Laudna deserves the world, and while Imogen can't give her the world, she can do a simple task that no one's had the kindness to do for Laudna in far too long.
"No, I've got this," Imogen replies with determination, decisively stroking fingers down, feathers threaded between them.
And she gets to work.
By the time Imogen is done, there's a small pile of feathers on the floor. But, Laudna's wings don't look half as scraggly as they did before. They're still not at the glossy sheen of actual magpie's, but Laudna assures her that's probably just the deadness of her.
"Really, darling, I can't thank you enough. It's been decades since I've been properly preened. It feels wonderful." And her wings give a joyful little flutter.
Imogen just smiles, glad to have given Laudna a bit of the joy and comfort the undead woman brings to her.

Risen / A Renegades fanfic
Chapter 1: A Lonely Grave
previous chapter, next chapter
As the Renegades underwent many, many reforms, such as a decrease in power that the council had, better laws, a reinstatement of the Miranda Rights, and so much more, Riley spun a keyring around her finger. Ever since she got promoted, days have been the same. She used to dream of working so closely with the dead, but it was cruel what they did to her. ‘Her skills would be useful here?’ Ha! She wasn’t even allowed to examine them. For now, she mainly sat at the desk in the small cabin that the Renegades transformed into a quaint office space, waiting days on end for a visitor that she could guide to a grave. Malcom was the one who did all the fun stuff. Tearing them apart, stuffing them, making sure they didn’t look like they were decapitated. Sometimes he let her help, though, by sending her to get an extra pair of clothes or hold the cotton used to stuff the corpses for open-casket funerals. Those were Riley’s favorite part, actually. Learning about all the heroes and villains that passed on. It was just so strange and weird that it piqued her interest just right.
Of course, nobody else saw that. Hell, they thought Malcom and her were the creepy ones, lingering by the door of every funeral with their figures covered in black. Even among the Renegades, they thought she was a weirdo. So what if she was? Did it really deserve being called creepy behind her back?
Lazily, she flipped through the pages of her occult practices. Sometimes, she wished she could go out into the graveyard and summon the spirit of those unjustly killed. Especially Winston. What happened at the arena filled her with so much rage Riley could’ve swarmed the city with an army of the undead. But she didn’t. She would just stay as complacent as she always was.
The door opened. “Hi Malcom,” she mumbled. He was back earlier than usual. He usually came back for the night shift while complaining about how boring patrols were.
“It’s… not Malcom,” a girl’s voice said.
Riley instantly sat up, slamming the leather-bound book closed. She pushed it aside in a rush. “Magpie!” Riley shouted. Then, she covered her mouth. “Maggie. Sorry. It’s Maggie. Maggie, right? Yeah. Maggie,” she repeated the name a few times.
“Uh, yeah. Maggie,” she responded, scuffing her shoes against the old wood floor. She looked nervous, but Riley couldn’t tell about what. She was just happy to have a visitor. (Especially one that wasn’t sobbing their eyes out!) Maggie had a single flower in her hand and shifted anxiously on her feet. She didn’t want to be here at all.
Awkward silence filled the room. Only Riley beating her hands on the receptionist desk interrupted it.
“So, um,” Riley spoke up after a minute or so, “I thought you quit the Renegades. What’ca doin’ here?”
Maggie’s shoulders tensed and she looked away. She tried to shrug it off. “I could ask the same for you. I thought you were in cleanup crew,” She would slowly approach the desk. She had to look up to see Riley sitting on the tall chair. Maggie could hear the clerk’s legs kicking the desk.
“Oh, right! Yeah, I used to be, but I got promoted! Thunderbird came to me and said something about ‘Due to recent events, we need more hands on deck to take care of the graveyard. Would you mind?’ and then I said ‘Absolutely!’ and now I’m here!” she explained. “So, once again, why are you here?”
Maggie ignored most of what she said, much to Riley’s dismay, and simply looked off to the side. Her hands were shoved deep into her pockets. “Yeah, cool, great,” she spoke absentmindedly, “Um, anyways, is it true that Callum Treadwell is buried here?” her brows knit as she said the name, uncomfortably with just mentioning it.
“You mean Wonder Boy?” Riley smiled. With every word, it looked as if Maggie wanted to crawl out of her own skin and escape. Riley was always very happy-go-lucky when it came to mentioning the dead, but even she could feel the girl’s sinking heart. “Uh, yeah, I think we have him. Do you want me to bring you to him?”
The Gravekeeper led her down the hill the small, wooden building lived atop. From the top of the hill, it seemed as if the black metal fencing attached to cinder blocks went on for miles over the horizon. It wasn’t a gloomy day, even though that’s what Maggie believed it should’ve been. It should’ve been pouring rain in the dead of night– Her heart told her so. The Gravekeeper didn’t say a word as she twisted a key into the iron gate and pushed opening the creaking doors.
Maggie’s mood seemed to infect Riley, spreading onto her skin and causing her to walk softly on the dirt. Maggie felt her feet sink into the fresh patches of it. How many bodies were really hidden under the grassy path? Stones surrounded them for miles, but none of them were anything special to note. Bouquets and teddy bears littered about most of them, but occasionally there would be a lonely grave with nothing to its name. The pair kept walking. Maggie watched Riley closely, scanning each detail that she couldn’t see before. The collar of her dress, the dress socks and shoes that were already filthy, the belt around her waist with a keyring, book pouch, and lantern dangling off the sides. The most noticeable was the metal, latched bracelet that had a coffin charm attached to it. Even with a fancier outfit, she was still the same Riley– obsessed with the macabre and all its eccentricities.
Her shiny metal bracelet shone in the sun. Maggie couldn’t help that the latch started to jiggle a bit, loosening as she concentrated on it. It’d sell for a good hundred at the pawn shop, at least. Maybe she could trick two hundred out of that sucker. Then Riley stopped. “You said Callum Treadwell, right?” She asked, turning around. She began to fidget with the little bracelet on her wrist. “Um, since the sun is setting, I’m not supposed to leave any visitors in the dark, so, um, I’ll just stand here. If you want me to turn the lamp on, just shout,” The Gravekeeper stepped aside and faced the other way, revealing the full tombstone. Maggie’s eyes widened.
It should’ve been bigger. It was simply a plague in the ground with a flower laying next to it. Where was the statue honoring him? Where were the ceremonies? Where was anything to celebrate him? Did they really just see him as nothing but another dead guy? The floats of villains that he got lumped into were insulting enough, but this? This was disrespectful! This wasn’t right! She had to punch something, steal something, do anything but look at the name carved into a rocky plate.
Callum Treadwell. Alias, Wonder Boy.
A true wonder among us.
Her jaw clenched tightly. How dare they. Nothing about his sacrifice, his life, not even his birthday. Her grip tightened around the petite rose in her hands, snapping the stem.
“Did you know him?” Riley whispered. The setting sky was now a deep shade of purple. How long was she standing there? Why did she feel these strange little wet streaks down her cheeks? “Sorry,” Riley forced a nervous laugh, “Malcom says I shouldn’t talk to visitors about this stuff, but…” She turned to face Maggie. Her eyes were watering as well. “I knew him, too. And I really admire what he tried to do.”
Maggie stared at the Gravekeeper. Someone else knew Callum. Someone else cared. She didn’t know if she felt jealous or thankful. On one hand, she wasn’t alone. On the other, she preferred to be alone. “Yeah. He really was a great guy, huh?” she said, slowly placing down the flower over his name.
Riley wiped her face with her sleeve. She had to try to be professional, even if she really couldn’t. “It’s a shame, really. Tragic they didn’t build some sort of memorial.” Maggie nodded with her. Riley stood by her side, staring down at the name. The dirt was soft beneath them. Twilight was turning into dusk quickly. Riley reached for the lantern on her belt and turned the knob. It was designed like an old-fashioned oil lamp but had the same functionality of an automatic, modern version. “I’m supposed to kick you out now, but I don’t feel like it,” she admitted, holding the light up to her face. Maggie watched pink bloom on her face. It got worse when Riley noticed her staring and they locked eyes. “Malcom won’t be back until nine, so I’m on patrol duty until then. It’d… um, It’d be nice to have some company,” Riley said, fiddling with her bracelet again, “If you want to stay, of course. This place is a bit sad.”
Maggie kept her gaze on Callum’s grave. Magpie always worked alone. Things were better that way. She survived all by herself, and there would never be someone to lean on. She learned that solitude really was the best for her. Even so…
“Sure. I got nothing better to do.”
Besides, maybe Maggie could get some information out of her. That helmet had to be somewhere. Even better, Ace could be buried here, too.

🖤, 🤝, 🌎 for magpie!
🖤 👎👎👎 not just for being turned but for what happened after. at the time of their embrace they were (or thought they were) really happy about it because they felt like their life was over before and then they were embraced and got a big fat blood bond that gave their existence meaning <3 (i'll get into that more in the next response). after that fell apart tho and they realized they spent years being used they p much hate being undead. they regret the way their mortal life ended and the way they left things with one of their touchstones (who they now can't talk to without breaking the masquerade/putting her in danger)
🤝 haha. so magpie has the bondslave flaw, meaning one drink of blood instantly brings her to a tier 3 bond. she started unlife instantly heavily bonded to her sire, charlotte, which made things... interesting. basically, magpie was head-over-heels and completely devoted to her, and charlotte happily accepted the opportunity to use magpie as a tool. in the current game i'm playing as her she's p much still in that state, but in her first chronicle she had already figured out what was going on and was trying to break the bond.
🌎 yyyyes, tho they've also come to realize that trying too hard to be humane can backfire, and there are some sacrifices one has to make to keep things in balance

Choosing a character to main on Tel’abim (turtle WoW) sent me back in time to when I was a tween playing WoW and I can’t fricken decide!
It’s mainly between lady orc warrior and lady dwarf warrior- on the one hand the horde cultural gear is way way cooler looking but on the other hand short queen fantasy brave heart
Also RP is healthier on alliance but the vibes are more my aesthetic on the Horde!

Long ask, more like an idea dumpster fire, cuz i was send on a brain rot over your ghost AU and also do love the history and story telling:
Tango being in his stage costume when he died tickle my brain the right way. Him being in it in his afterlife, messed up and burned ofc, but his stage costume just can't leave me. No idea if someone said that, but it make sense to me that he would be still wearing it after the shooting of the show, therefor when the smoking accident happened. Was to Tierd to change in the studio, didn't make it to the house to do so there. Tho it also might be my magpie brain speaking for the need of Tango in a sparkly red suit, even better sparkly red TAILCOAT.
Also the fact that his show lasted one season without him, actually shows that he was, in fact, unreplaceable and i think it's neat like, it kinda shows that the watch rate dropped enough so it wasn't giving the money to make more of it, so maybe the fans couldn't bring themselves to watch it without thier beloved host that past in so tragedy and so sudden? So the show just stopped airing after they shoot that one season with the coworker. And maybe if the show was popular enough maybe it shine some light into smoking and how dengerous it might get if you don't handle your trash correctly.
I can imagine that since Ren died in his sleep, his really not happy about spending the rest of his afterlife in his PJs, which from my like 10 minutes research on the topic, would be something similar to
-something between boxers and shorts
-eventually a shirt
Don't know what would be funnier, he constantly whining about it or some scenerio in which he ended up sleeping fully dressed and getting killed at the same time.
Also the "they thought they angered the god" is very on spot since many rulers where though as chosen by the God so revolting against them was like revolting against the GOD, tho it was more for the kings and emparors, but i can totally see illiterate town folks going crazy like "John the butcher was in silly goofy mood and killed the Lord that ruled over our home lands for the KING or someone who rules over him for the KING it's almost like killing the KING, JOHN"
The "Zombie Cleo" might as well be a title Bloody Mary style. Since the word "Zombie" wasn't used in English till late 1920', it could originate as "Undead Cleo" or something similar (which would refer to her sickly looks), that got changed into zombie with the age of internet. She might even be a local legend or something! Like a ghost hounding the castle, and since the castle is gone by now, she's hounding the streets
The unsolved, mysterious murder of the previous resident of the house might be a key reason why Pearl get to buy it so easy - it was cheap (the murder houses are more likely to be sold cheap cuz the crime lowers it's value bc most people don't want to live in it) and nice looking, and she was sure not scared of some old story (if she even knew it, sometimes it's getting hidden bc most people doesn't want to live in the murder house). And maybe they stayed in it after they find that it's hounded bc of that fact - let it be some contract that they signed or they wanted to help to uncover the mystery
For Etho, I wonder if in they future the knowledge of ghosts is common. Aka Does Ethos knew that he become a ghost or didn't and he thought that his trapped in between time and space or some shit that was blame on time travel and for millions of years he kept talking to himself with hope that some of his buddies from future will pick up and get him out, and eventually someone answered but and that someone was Joel 👀
Also, Etho struggling with keeping himself in one piece, but it's done for comedy not for angst, Jimmy manhandling one of the ghosts, falling on him, his body shatters like a glass figure, the head is rolling to the other corner of the house never to be seen again for the next week. It would be even more funny if he kept teleporting parts to random places unintentionally as a side effect of unsuccessful teleportation from a dinosaur's mouth. Just Etho functioning on a cartoon logic (Bdubs would probably also function on the cartoon logic, i imagine him bounce around like his a jack-in-the-box)
Actually the traditional and most commonly used method to execute a witch in Europe (therefore UK) was to burn her on the stake. That was the method used basically since beginning till the end of witch hunts. Sometimes they added gunpowder to kill her faster so she wouldn't suffer (gunpowder gets heated, explodes, instant death, no burning alive) the hanging is purely American thing (if not purely Salem thing, literally everything that i can find on hanging witches is about Salem). Do with this information whatever you want U_U
Jimmy the one legged ghost to Jimmy the phantom with phantom pains pipeline. Does it make sense? Absolutely not, his a ghost why on earth does he feel pain of any kind he doesn't have any nerves. But to be fair when your missing a leg there's no nerves in it either so. Anyways writing it just for the irony of a ghosts with ghostly pain in his non existing leg. Also i think it would be freaking sad if Jimmy sometimes was forgetting that he doesn't have that leg not only bc he died shortly after he lost it but especially bc his a ghost and he have (probably) no body weight what so ever so he still just doesn't notice sometimes.
The idea of Scott thinking that his really drunk at first, and he shouldn't drink so much at the party cuz now his sick in the bathroom, looking like a mess, alone, and if he will not get himself together in the next couple of minutes he will start the new millennium like so. The idea of Scott thinking that he will welcome 2001 with a terrible hangover, and will swear to never get drunk that bad even again, just to die 2 second into the year.
I think i run out of things to say, so for the exodus i will just say: I adore the mantal image of Joel, an unhinged looking viking, loosing his viking mind over seeing Oli The Theater Kid. And most important everyone who's younger then Grain/Scar having absolutely not a clue what's going on.
Have a nice day, good person of Trafficblr, sorry for the rambling it 3am
this ask literally made me so happy that i got lightheaded and had to take a break from reading it i literally love this so much you don’t understand
everything about this is perfect and i love it and “unsuccessful teleportation from a dinosaur’s mouth” is my new favourite sentence
thank you for the information on european witch executions!! i’ve only ever researched american ones sooo
thank you so much for sharing your thoughts !! it was so fun to read and i’m very glad that you take your time to think about this au !! honestly it’s so cool to see how people see this

Mirdam Magpie, Shion Shirai-Asal
Tumblr media
Originally hailing from Stratholm, their parents were South Sea smugglers who took advantage of the city’s bustling harbour in order to partake in the flowing coin.
Helping their father on cargo runs, Shion and their twin, were accustom to a life of crime - it was simply how they survived. When the plague struck, Arthas soon came to the gates of Stratholm. Their father would help civilians escape onto his boat, only to have the infected turn on them upon open water. Shion ended up getting bit themself, their sibling forced to cut their arm off to keep them from turning into the Undead.
Rallied by the remaining paladins, now the Argent Dawn, their twin and them split ways as Shion left their homeland to the rot. They travelled the world, growing in their illicit skills. A renown thief, only known by “The Magpie”. They have take on jobs for both legal and illegal entities, such as the Kirin Tor and Defias Brotherhood.  It was only until a decade ago did The Magpies become an thieves guild rather than one thief. Shion began to take young girls - namely sex workers, under their wing. Each would shed their former names, taking on their new one. Maggotmilk, Rubybombs and Bunnyguts. Shion would become their adoptive parent and their mentor in the criminal world.
Still leading the Magpies, Shion is the most active member among them, though newer additions have long since joined the The Magpies’ inception.

Name: Foxglovechime
Meaning: Deadly and Serene
Age (Cat Years):
Age (Human Years):
Identity: Genderfluid - Pronoun Positive
Orientation: Queer
Clan: SolsticeClan
Rank: Sun Warrior
Breed Inspiration: Norwegian Forest Cat
---
Blood Type: Emerald
Power: Necromancy
Power Explanation: Foxglovechime uses her powers constantly in the form of her companion and servant, Anubis the undead raven. For the most part Foxglove tends to swap between various corvids that she reanimates to sit around her. They use them as guards, as couriers and as messengers for any situation that they could. Foxglove will send her second most used servant, Herald the magpie to keep an eye on her family so he’s the most well-known of her creations.
Anubis - A truly massive raven with a missing left eye and a fractured left side of its skull. His feathers are glossy from the care and love Foxglove put into raising him. Anubis is easily her most favorite servant. Herald - A large black billed magpie with almost wiry feathers, with a cracked beak. Herald is the second of Foxglove’s Trinity Team and was the victim of a mobbing from his fellow magpies after attempting to steal from their stache. Herald was saved by Foxglove attacking and catching one of his killers and raising him the second he died. Ammit - A barn owl that was scavenging on corpses due to its surprising appetite on top of actively hunting. Invading the nest of a smaller owl was their last mistake and Ammit was slaughtered while attempting to go after their owlets and fell to Foxglove’s feet. She watched the owl die and calmly raised her - now Ammit with a cracked skull no longer hungers for anything but to serve her mistress as best as she can.

Favorite Meal: Fresh Loon
Least Favorite Meal: Owlets- they’re mostly feathers
Strengths: Unflappable - Thoughtful - Far Thinking
Weaknesses: Low Emotion - Fierce - Harsh
Overall Personality:  Foxglove is a smart and gentle cat with a mind for scheming - something she uses to secure the well-being and happiness of her loved ones. She’s a gentle manipulator, preferring to put gentle pressure on someone and make offhand comments than openly threaten them leaving her with a mysterious air. Foxglove is cool and analytical, rarely making decisions based on her emotional state and struggles to express herself to others clearly.
Those who her them know that Foxglove is caring and always willing to help but resting face tends to inspire fear and discomfort from the average cat. Despite her tendencies towards manipulation, Foxglove usually leaves well enough alone, only interfering when she thinks things are escalating in a way that will bother his kin.
---
Relationships
---
Mother: Nightpoppy (Close) - A tortie and white molly with pale green eyes and a calm demeanor. Foxglove inherited many of her morals and unflappable attitude from her. Nightpoppy instilled in her eldest daughter the importance of kinship and protecting her family even above the clan unless their kin has already betrayed them. Nightpoppy was always bad at showing emotion to her kits but she does love them. Cold - Loyal - Homebody
Father: Fennelgrove (Close) - A cream and white furred tom with blue eyes. Fennelgrove is anxious and nervous spending much of his time near his mate. He’s a transmasculine cat and is consistently worried that someone can tell and is judging him in private. He flip-flops between trying to bond closely with his kits and being hypermasculine until his mate reassures him. Anxious - Loving - Gullible
Sibling(s):
-> Nightshadesong (sister) - A green-eyed mostly black furred molly with a white tail, white chest and socks. She has speckles on her toes, throat and beneath her eyes. Nightshade has a good relationship with her sister who more or less runs the show. While Foxglove plots and plans, Nightshade socializes and carries things out. She has a strong moral code albeit she defers to her sister as the ultimate authority in life. Cheeky - Forceful - Social  -> Sorrelpetal (brother) - The youngest of the litter and the most spoiled by his siblings, Sorrelpetal is a ginger and white tom with black toes and ears and bright green eyes. Sorrelpetal is extremely confident in everything he does and is prone to boasting about everything he ever does - being the baby, his whole family doted on him and his sisters usually got in trouble for his mistakes as a kit. Despite this, he does love his family. Bratty - Family Orientated - Boastful

Hunting
Fishing: Foxglove enjoys fishing - she spends a lot of her free time swiping minnows from streams or teasing salmon with her claw on the surface of the water. Sometimes she reanimates a fishing bird to help her catch larger prey. If SolsticeClan can count on hr for anything, it’s always providing them with more than enough fish to stay well-fed. She has aspirations of snagging an alligator tooth but admittedly doesn’t know where she’d get one. Flyers: Foxglove rarely makes an effort to catch birds. Considering most of her reanimated servants are avians of some kind, she feels compelled to avoid actively hunting them although she’ll still eat already killed birds. That doesn’t say she won’t catch them if she needs to however - if the waters are barren and the clan needs food, she’ll do what she has to. Stalking: A powerful hunter, while Foxglove is capable of hunting and stalking after small prey, she dreams big and often finds herself taking down larger more impressive creatures.
Fighting
Offense: Though powerful and stocky, Foxglovechime prefers to attack swiftly and decisively from the shadows. They will frequently use their murder to harass their enemies in battles and to scout out enemy positions. Though she won’t kill unless she has to, Foxglove aims for the throat to firmly end a fight before it begins. Defense: Foxglovechime is a skilled defender, leaning towards powerful strikes and pinning her opponent to force a surrender under threat of worse injury. They often operate as the cavalry in a fight, rushing in and beating enemies until they flee.

Healing
---
Foxglovechime is a decent healer for a sun warrior, knowing enough herbs and medical procedures to be capable of getting their clamates off of an active battlefield and into the paws of a proper healer. She can keep a cat from bleeding out or having to get a limb amputated due to infection but that's as far as her skills go.

Personal Notes:
-> There are rumors Foxglove once took down a young buck all on her own but she’s such a private cat, no one’s sure how true that is -> Foxglove is extremely affectionate towards her Trinity - the few times she’s shown anger have been in response to them being intentionally injured -> Wild ravens are rather fond of her because she frequently leaves bits of prey out for them -> When her sister weaves her flower crowns, she wears them unironically until they wilt or Nightshade makes her another -> Despite her cool demeanor, she’s been known to allow kits to climb all over her

Hi! Passing by to tell you how much i adore your maggie the undead magpie outfit <3 so much so i started to make an undead bird of my own! I wanted to ask how did you make the back part of your head piece? It's so pretty and i have zero clue how to go about it lol
@a-drays-mind I want you to know I haven't forgotten about you - I just haven't had the opportunity to go take my skull bird head apart to take pictures of the feather headdress. I promise it will be soon, and I will reblog this and tag you again!
