*happy day of thanks everybody

*we just finished a big pitch-in that was put together as a peace offering between the humans and monsters

*and boy am i stuffed

*which is sayin' some seeing as i'm all bones~

*i've never seen so many people in one place before

*each monster pitched in to really make the party festive

*muffet and toriel prepared the sweets

*mettaton, shyrin, mad mew mew, and napstablook did entertainment

*asgore and alphys helped with hot beverages

*undyne, papyrus, and the kid directed the 'setup and decorate' committee

*which attracted a lot of volunteers for decorations

*and grillby and his helpers used their flame magic to cook up the main course

*some of the humans also pitched in by bringing human food which made a couple of monsters very happy

*yup everyone was there

*the kid even dropped off a plate of pumpkin butterscotch-cinnamon pie to a yellow flower nearby

*which was weird but sweet

*seeing the kid with the flower got me thinking though

*i've heard from some of the humans that this day ain't the easiest for everyone

*sure it can be fun but for some it brings back some bad memories

*for anyone who needs to hear it, keep your chin up

*you're stronger than you think

*if there's one thing we monsters have learned from being trapped for so long is to keep going even when the odds are against you

*eventually things will get better

*so thanks for roughing it this far and stay determined

*we'll be cheering for you the whole way

*oops

I'm admittedly echausted and cannot properlt articulate how happy this ask makes me but just know it does fjsjfjsf. I'm gonna attempt to do a read more on mobile we'll see how that goes. Oh neat yay it worked.

First Impression

Papyrus: I thought he was genuinely intimidating! But with every interaction I lost more and more respect for him lmao. (Fun fact: Papyrus actually wasn't my fave at first Mettaton was!)

Undyne: Scary armor man despite the fact that NPC's kept reffering to her as a woman dhenfhsf. Compared to Papyrus she seemed VERY scary. Like with Papyrus I would think "Oh god not this bitch again" but with Undyne it was genuine fear fjejfjdf.

Impression Now

Papyrus: I think the best was to put it into words is when I played UT with my friends last week the entirety of Snowdin I was just like "HE'S PERFECT HE CAN DO NO WRONF NEVER CHANGE PAPYRUS" he is so cool best character.

Undyne: I adore her!!! Her and Papyrus' friendship mean SO SO much to me and it makes me sad that no one really talks about it?? I think she's SUPER underrated BIG comfort character.

Favorite Moment

Papyrus: I was debating saying something niche because I'm the self assigned Papyrus mutual and all but you can't beat Papyrus jumping through the window and probably into a wall. I think it sums up his character pretty well.

Undyne: Literally ALL of her dialogue on the phone with Papyrus in Hotland. But like. Specifically the conveyor belt puzzle concept ones. It's just the fact that she makes them increasingly worse and disgusting because she KNOWS it'll get him riled up.

Idea for a Story

I'm just gonna kill 2 birds with one stone and do one story involving both of them cause this is getting long lol. So a BIG headcanon of mine is that Sans and Papyrus are hard to keep stationary on the surface. Like ESPECIALLY at first. They like to take roadtrips a lot to bond and explore because "The surface is SO big Sans!" and also Papyrus REALLY likes to drive. Besides, he's gotta make up for all the years he wasn't able to somehow! So so so hear me out. Papyrus and Undyne epic friendship adventure roadtrip. Maybe they want to go see a concert together or stop at as many thrift stores across the country as they can fjsjdt. Either way, Papyrus and Undybe roadtrip please. It'd be a cute oneshot.

Unpopular Opinion

Papyrus: :-)))) I'm trying to think of something that isn't low hanging fruit lmao. This is more in line with Deltarune but I kind of don't like the theory that Papyrus in DR is a child??? Like it's cute but I kind of see it as people trying to infantilize him more than he already is and we don't need to get into how infantilizing a heavily autistic codes character isn't great.

Undyne: I don't really have many for her but I don't like that in a lot of fan works Undyne seems to become an antagonist in a sense?? Like she's so quick to draw conclusions that she ends up hurting the group more than helping and though I think it's a valid character flaw it happens SO often it's a little annoying to me.

Favorite Relationship

Ha ha! Their friendship. Like don't get me wrong Papyrus and Sans' relationship is great but just. Their friendship is everything. I once had to leave the art studio at school because I started crying over the fact that they aren't friends in dr.

Favorite Headcanon

Papyrus: I usually do autistic papyrus headcanons here but for this I'm just gonna talk about eyesight gjdhdg. Papyrus is near sighted lol. He needs glasses but they're a hassle to put on and contact are a no go so he has like magical suppliments he takes? They' re like eye drops. I've thought about this way more than any person should.

Undyne: The headcanon that Gerson pratically raised her has always been a personal favorite of mine (unless it's canon i'm not gonna lie I haven't paid as much attention to Undyne as I have Papyrus fjsmfjef).

Undyne reminds me alot of how Asgore was in Undertale. She's only doing what she's doing because she has the weight of all monster kind on her shoulders, not because she wants to. The only thing is that Undybe is a bit more on the extreme side compared to how Asgore was. But because of the similarities, I can 100% see her offering her soul to Frisk in the end so no one else has to die.

The thing is, Undyne isn’t a boss monster so giving up her soul isn’t really an option. Though I definitely do see the Asgore parallels. :o She’s also incredibly fixated on her promise/freeing monsterkind that regardless of the emotional turmoil that she’s causing herself by pushing herself into the position of the aggressor, this is, in her eyes, the ONLY thing she can do. The only option she has left. Even if it means burning bridges, the end result is all that matters. It’s... not a healthy mindset at all, and frankly, Undyne needs help. The secret pages already give a bit more context, and I do plan to touch on this further soon, but IF Undyne is honestly deeply traumatized and simply has REALLY unhealthy coping mechanisms.

okay so undyne adopts susie but its not like,,a mother/daughter relationship its more like a sibling relationship,they tease each other about their crushes and they get into stupid fights and get hurt feelings and they dont really,,make up formally they just keep fighting but they know its not real anymore,and they get really passionate about bad cartoons together and fall asleep on the couch and put blankets on eachother when they wake up and basically,its good.

susie tries to do a wrestling move on undyne but they both fuck it up and undyne loses an eye and susie just,,,,freaks out and she shuts down after they get to the hospital and shes about to run away but then undybe comes out wiht an eyepatch and is just super fucking stoked because now she looks cool as fuck and she almost suplexes susie out of joy in the hospital waiting room but she is stopped by toriel who is also there because kris did the fucking tide pod challenge and susie still feels like garbage but she knows that undyne is family and its good,somebody write this fanfic or i will explode
