okay so flash back to 2020. Avatar: The Last Airbender has just returned to Netflix in the US, and it’s the show of the season. I watch it. I become obsessed with the character Jet, who shows up in like I wanna say 4-5 episodes before dying? Jet has a very unique characteristic in that he is always depicted with either a random lead stalk or a stalk of wheat in his mouth. Mouth wheat, if you will.

also in avatar is an episode where the final meal shown in it is unfried bread dough in the shape of people.

mash them together and you get Unfried Mouth Wheat. I have not changed my irl in 3 years and I’m pretty proud of that lol

hama is the dad and the polar bear dog is the dog she didnt want

aka jet is still injured and is fine to just sit with his dog and hama goes you're so irresponsible, im taking him on a walk for you we're going to have FUN

jet bases his entire self esteem on how much this dog likes him which luckily is a lot

hama realizes jet will eat more if she lets him help cook so it becomes a little routine for them

the dog is such a cute dog but if anyone makes jet nervous or comes to fast towards him all bets are off that dog loves jet

hama tells jet a little about how she ended up in the fire nation and the floodgates open up for jet

this is when she goes from i hate this punk ass bitch kid to interesting, do you happen to want a parental figure and a dog figure

also hama is like how are you so good at caring for this animal and he's like i used to keep like 20 children alive by myself and she's like ?????

1) yes.... Chaos is a weird one to me cuz, on one hand, they help zag cuz he’s entertaining and specifically because he’s shaking up the status quo and comes to appreciate him for who he is, on the other, zag is constantly walking on eggshells around them cuz they're terrifying and powerful af and they don't want zag to respond unless they specifically tell him to. all in all i consider them...a friend????????

Trans Suki headcanons?????????????????????????????????????

So Suki’s a transfem enby (they/she) 

They first realize when they’re little that they have some connection to girlhood, but as they get older, they realize that their connection to womanhood is really complex and a lot more nuanced than they had previously thought. 

At this point, she’s already joined the Kyoshi Warriors, who, in her mind, pride themselves on being “ordinary women” which is strange for her because she doesn’t feel that her connection to womanhood is all that ordinary. 

Eventually, they talk to their mother about their gender feelings and whether their gender feelings mean that they can’t be a Kyoshi Warrior (their mom’s a Kyoshi Warrior too) Their mom’s cis, so she doesn’t fully understand what Suki’s going through, but she assures Suki that Kyoshi would want anybody who feels that they have some connection to womanhood and/or to Kyoshi’s legacy to become a Warrior, and that Suki is always welcome to be a Kyoshi Warrior if they want to be. 

Suki comes out as a transfem enby to the Kyoshi Warriors, and they all welcome them with open arms, switching their pronouns pretty seamlessly and encouraging them to embrace all parts of both their gender identity and their identity as a Kyoshi Warrior

Suki really loves dressing fem, and feels a rush of euphoria when they’re dressed in a super fem way and referred to with they/them pronouns

For Suki, gender isn’t a destination, but a journey, and they’re totally open to the fact that the way they want to express themself, the pronouns they want to use, or even what their gender is may change. 

Embracing this sort of fluidity is hard for them at first, because they really like having things already figured out, but at some point they have to accept that their gender is a more fluid thing than it is for a lot of people. 

Sokka is someone who really gets Suki in a lot of ways, but especially when it comes to her gender, even though his experiences with gender are a lot more binary than hers

And in the rare moments where he doesn’t understand, he listens to Suki and makes sure to pay attention to what she wants/needs in that moment. 

When Suki becomes the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors, they make it a priority to let trans and nonbinary folks who feel a connection to womanhood and/or to Kyoshi’s legacy know that they are more than welcome in the Kyoshi Warriors, and that the Warriors are an inclusive group. 

During Suki’s time, the Warriors have a lot more openly trans/nonbinary members, and it makes her really happy that this is her contribution to Kyoshi’s legacy. They feel like Kyoshi would be incredibly proud
