Jackson loved the state NCBA meeting.
Every rancher from across the state gathering in some backwoods town in Arizona. Owners and shareholders flocking together to discuss price rates and production and wages. Jackson represented his local union, making himself vocal for their rights and fair wages. Knowing deep in his heart and soul the wants and needs of every man he represented.
You see, Jackson didn’t exist for most of the year.
Every fourth friday of every third month, the cowboys of Jacksonville, Arizona gather for beers after work. They’d slam a few with each other, getting well and good wasted as they celebrated the coming weekend.
Drunken rough housing and wrestling would become more physical as they wandered to one of the many empty barns. Pushing and laughing, men with girlfriends or even wives letting it all be forgotten as their camaraderie escalated to something much much more.
Their Union organizer Hunter would start with their new hires, the younger men confused and intoxicated by the energy of the group. There was nothing closer than this Union and they would be taught that.
Hunter would embrace them, holding them stable as he stripped them of their clothes. Men who had never been touched by another man now eagerly allowing him to slowly insert himself into them. Rough rhythm losing its weight as they found themselves melting together.
Hunter melding with the new recruits, showing them the incredible worth of their union dues. Their faces merging together into a composite that was so much more handsome than the man they were apart. The new man hardly waiting a second after he became stable to grab and insert himself into the next man, all while the crowd of well experienced men cheered him on.
It would go on like that for hours, Jackson slowly gathering his parts as he absorbed more and more men into his being. Collecting the excited men who were happy to become him again, happy to be Jackson.
At the end of the night, with only Steven left, Jackson smiled. Steven was a thirty year old farmhand who’d made an impact on every man that Jackson was. A handsome man who always had the time, always there when they needed extra muscle or a competent hand.
The younger men all wanted to be him, jacked and rugged. It left Jackson needing the same, holding down this integral part of his soul and body as he reintegrated him. Feeling Steven’s skin meld into his muscles entwining together. Kissing the man as their heads merged together, the memories and personality of Steven joining with the rest of his Union in perfect unity.
Jackson would lay there on the ground, amidst a straw floor covered in barn clothes and boots. Panting as he savored himself, the new parts of himself loving his strength and body as the old parts of himself rejoiced at having it again. Taking his time as he searched the barn’s mass of clothing for something that would fit his new frame. He’d look at himself in the mirror later and study how his face had changed since last month. Staring long and hard before he took one of his many trucks down to the site of the meeting. Check himself into a motel and enjoy the night.
He got real work done during those meetings, an absolute juggernaut for improving the conditions that he experienced in a hundred lives every day. Shane’s boots and Cliff’s jeans settled comfortably on him as he walked with more confidence than anyone on the floor. Using his lifetimes of experience to easily sweet talk and intimidate for what he wanted Then at night, he would use that same experience to reward himself for time well spent, with whatever his eclectic mess of sexualities desired at the time.
This time wasn’t just for the financial benefit of the many pieces of Jackson, but for the relationships. Jackson loved himself and put the time and work into making that known each time he came into being. Jackson loving himself was the Union loving each other, as brothers, friends and lovers.
When the meeting concluded, Jackson would drive home singing their favorite country songs. He didn’t fear his inevitable separation, he loved living every separate life inside of him. He’d be back anyways, sooner rather than later.
Union elections were coming up, and who better to choose than Jackson himself.

Idk who needs to hear this but Mcu buckys backstory is NOT based off of arnie roth. His backstory is based off his ultimate universe counterpart. A lot of the mcu is based of the ultimates: sam being military whil 616sam being a social worker, clint with laura barton and their 3 kid and is a shield operative while 616clint married bobbi morse and has no kid and never worked for shield, samuel l. jackson Nicky fury, etc. Ultimate universe bucky is steves childhood friend.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And secondly 616 bucky is caps kid sidekick, the mcu just didn't want to put a child soldier in their all American propaganda movie hence why rebel wasn't part of the howling commandos in the mcu either because he was a kid. As u can see in this tweet they changed it for that reason.
Tumblr media
Thirdly even if he was based off of arnie, removing a gay character doesn't automatically make a different character gay. although i would love if bucky was canon queer but that's just not how it works.
Also what I realize about these bucky is arnie roth truthers is that a lot of u don't care about arnie or the fact he was erased from the mcu u guys just want "proof" for your headcanon/ship. Which there's no problem with having headcanons, if u hc bucky as gay and/or jewish that perfectly fine and valid but then ppl spread false info that he's suppose to be that when it's simply just not true. I don't ever see ppl bring up arnie unless it about bucky. Also steve and arnies dynamic itself never came off as anything other than friends or brothers
I don't ever see these bucky is arnie roth truthers ever talk about how thor:ragnarok replaced thors and lokis actual long lost older sister, angela, who is a canon lesbian and is dating a transwoman, with lokis daughter, hela, who has only shown attraction towards men in canon.(hela is currently married to a woman but they married out of business not out of love and it happened after the movie came out)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
nor do I see them talk about in ca:tfa other than arnie roth there was also brian falsworth. In ca:tfa u can see James Montgomery falsworth, more commonly known as union jack, in the mcu he's part of the howling commandos. The thing is he's the union jack of ww1 while his son and daughter fights alongside captain America in ww2. His son Brian falsworth has been canonically gay since 2002 and was dating roger aubrey, destroyer, until he died. There's no reason why his dad was deaged and was part of the howling commandos instead of him for the reason other than he was gay because Brian shows up more in comics than his dad, u can't know about Monty falsworth without knowing about Brian
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I feel like y'all don't actually care when an actual gay character gets replaced but instead make up lies about characters that u want to be gay instead. Like when eternals came out and phastos and his husband where said to be the first gay characters in the mcu and instead of complaining about loki, valkyrie, starlord, ayo, korg. Who were(at least at the time) not confirmed canon queer in the mcu despite being so in the comics, u guys complained about steve/bucky not being canon queer despite neither ever canonically showing interest in the same gender in mcu or comics because u mixed up canon and fanon/your headcanon.
Again headcanoning bucky and gay and/or jewish and shipping mcu stucky is completely fine, there's nothing wrong with it but bucky being based on arnie roth is just simply not true.

WORLD PREMIER: LES GHOULS - locked away in the vault of Roy Thomas, released for the first time in 65 years for your viewing pleasure!
Les Ghouls is a 12½-minute, mostly black-&-white film made circa 1958 by a group of six teenagers in Jackson, Missouri, including Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich, who went on in the 1960s to become writers and editors at Marvel Comics. It was intended as an homage to/ripoff of the 1948 movie classic Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, just filmed for a lark. It was filmed largely in black-&-white despite the relative difficulty of obtaining that kind of film even then. John Short, who owned the (new) movie camera, served as primary director; Roy Thomas scripted the movie (in synopsis form) and supplied all art and lettering appearing in the film. There were vague plans to eventually either record a soundtrack or to at least have the cast members accompany showings by narration and dialogue, but those plans never materialized.
CAST:
Slim--------------------------------------------------- Gary Friedrich
Slat ---------------------------------------------------- Ron Lowes
Dr. Sturdley ------------------------------------------ Andy Leonard
Melvin ------------------------------------------------ Lyle Hutteger
The Monster ------------------------------------------ John Short
Werewolf ---------------------------------------------- Roy Thomas
Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich went on to become major writers in the comicbook industry.
Roy Thomas was an editor of Marvel from 1965-80, and editor-in-chief from 1972-74. He also scripted runs on such series as X-Men, Avengers, Conan the Barbarian, Savage Sword of Conan, Star Wars, Red Sonja, Kull the Conqueror, Daredevil, Captain Marvel, The Invaders, Incredible Hulk, Sub-Mariner, etc. He also co-created the likes of Wolverine, Carol Danvers (future Captain Marvel), The Vision, Ultron, The Squadron Supreme, The Invaders, Union Jack, Spitfire, Black Knight (Dane Whitman), Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing, Morbius the Living Vampire, Sunfire, Banshee, Valkyrie, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Doc Samson, Brother Voodoo, Warlock, Ghost Rider, Son of Satan, Thundra, Captain 3D, What If, Not Brand Echh, and others. In the ’80s he defected to DC Comics, where he co-created, wrote, and often edited All-Star Squadron, Infinity Inc., Arak – Son of Thunder, Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew!, Young All-Stars, and Jonni Thunder a.k.a. Thunderbolt, as well as writing the likes of Wonder Woman, Shazam!, Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, and Justice League of America. He has also written comics for Topps, Heroic, etc. He co-created both a super-hero comic and a comics-history magazine which were titled Alter Ego. His and wife Dann’s independent series Captain Thunder and Blue Bolt was optioned for a film in the ’90s. He has also written for films, TV animation, and live-action TV.
Gary Friedrich wrote several series runs for Marvel, including Sgt. Fury, Captain America, Nick Fury – Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Frankenstein, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, Daredevil, [the Western] Ghost Rider, Combat Kelly, Captain Savage, and Captain Marvel—and was the major creator of [the motorcycle-riding, supernatural] Ghost Rider and the co-creator and first writer of Son of Satan. He served as assistant editor at Marvel from late 1966 to 1968. He and Roy Thomas co-created the concept for the Marvel comicbook Not Brand Echh. Gary also wrote for Skywald, Topps, and other comics companies. He passed away in August 2018.

1, 10 and 17 about books💙
How are you?
Hiiiii <3
I'm doing okay, I have a job interview tomorrow so I'm currently shitting myself but otherwise, everything's you know plodding along. How are you, my dear?
1. What is your favourite book and/or book series of all time?
Probably Percy Jackson and the Olympians, I read them in 2020 for the first time and I've reread them multiple time since and I'll probably read them to my kids when I have them.
10. What is a book that you own more than one copy of?
This is hard because I collect books (especially if they're my favourites) so there are a few that I have multiples of Lord of the Rings, Eragon, Dune etc. but my favourite has to be Red, White and Royal Blue. I own a paperback, the Book of the Month hardcover, the union-jack special edition and this one by Dazzling Bookish Shop
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn't it pretty 😍😍😍
17. What is your favourite book that contains an LGBTQ+ character?
Another hard one but I haven't stopped thinking about The Sunbearer Trails by Aiden Thomas since I read it in January. The main character is trans (plus there are a lot more LGBTQIA+ characters), the story is a mix between PJO, The hunger game and is a Mexican-inspired fantasy:
“Only the most powerful and honorable semidioses get chosen. I’m just a Jade. I’m not a real hero.” As each new decade begins, the Sun’s power must be replenished so that Sol can keep traveling along the sky and keep the evil Obsidian gods at bay. Ten semidioses between the ages of thirteen and eighteen are selected by Sol himself as the most worthy to compete in The Sunbearer Trials. The winner carries light and life to all the temples of Reino del Sol, but the loser has the greatest honor of all―they will be sacrificed to Sol, their body used to fuel the Sun Stones that will protect the people of Reino del Sol for the next ten years.
Thanks for your ask 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼

The Supreme Court is being warned about the potentially dire consequences of a case next week involving a Christian graphic artist who objects to designing wedding websites for same-sex couples.
Rule for the designer and the Justices will expose not only same-sex couples but also Black people, immigrants, Jews, Muslims and others to discrimination, liberal groups say.
Rule against her and the justices will force artists — from painters and photographers to writers and musicians — to do work that is against their faith, conservative groups argue.
Both sides have described for the court what lawyers sometimes call “a parade of horribles” that could result if the ruling doesn’t go their way.
The case marks the second time in five years that the Supreme Court has confronted the issue of a business owner who says their religion prevents them from creating works for a gay wedding. This time, most experts expect that the court now dominated 6-3 by conservatives and particularly sympathetic to religious plaintiffs will side with Lorie Smith, the Denver-area designer in the case.
But the American Civil Liberties Union, in a brief filed with the court, was among those that called Smith’s argument “carte blanche to discriminate whenever a business’s product or service could be characterized as ‘expressive,’” a category of businesses that could range from “luggage to linens to landscaping.” Those businesses, they said, could announce, “We Do Not Serve Blacks, Gays, or Muslims.”
Smith’s attorneys at the Arizona-based Alliance Defending Freedom say that’s not true. “I think it’s disingenuous and false to say that a win for Lorie in this case would take us back to those times where people ... were denied access to essential goods and services based on who they were,” said ADF attorney Kellie Fiedorek, adding, “A win for Lorie here would never permit such conduct, like some of the hypotheticals that they’re raising.”
Smith’s case follows that of Colorado baker Jack Phillips, who objected to creating a wedding cake for a gay couple. The couple sued, but the case ended with a limited decision. Phillips’ lawyer, Kristen Waggoner, is back before the high court Monday arguing for Smith.
Smith wants to begin offering wedding websites, but she says her Christian faith prevents her from creating websites celebrating same-sex marriages. That could get her in trouble with state law. Colorado, like most other states, has a public accommodation law that says if Smith offers wedding websites to the public, she must provide them to all customers. Businesses that violate the law can be fined, among other things.
Smith, for her part, says Colorado’s law violates the Constitution’s First Amendment by forcing her to express a message with which she disagrees.
Among Smith’s other opponents are the Biden administration and 20 mostly Democratic-leaning states including California, New York and Pennsylvania. The states told the court in one of 75 legal briefs filed by outside groups in the case that accepting Smith’s arguments would allow for widespread discrimination.
“A bakery whose owner opposed mixed-race relationships could refuse to bake wedding cakes for interracial couples,” the states said. A “real estate agency whose owner opposed racial integration could refuse to represent Black couples seeking to purchase a home in a predominantly white neighborhood; or a portrait studio whose proprietor opposes interracial adoption could refuse to take pictures of white parents with their Black adopted children.”
Those race-based examples could get particular attention on a court with two Black Justices, Clarence Thomas and Ketanji Brown Jackson, who are married to white spouses and another Justice, Amy Coney Barrett, who has two adopted children who are Black. But the states gave an example involving a person’s national origin too. “A tattoo studio could ink American flag tattoos on customers born in the United States while refusing to sell identical tattoos to immigrants,” they said.
Brianne Gorod of the Constitutional Accountability Center, representing a group of law professors, hypothesized other examples of what could happen if Smith succeeds at the high court.
“A web designer could refuse to create a web page celebrating a female CEO’s retirement — violating Colorado’s prohibition on sex discrimination — if he believed all women have a duty to stay home and raise children. Similarly, a furniture-maker — who considers his furniture pieces to be artistically expressive — could refuse to serve an interracial couple if he believed that interracial couples should not share a home together. Or an architect could refuse to design a home for an interfaith couple,” she told the court.
Smith’s supporters, however, among them 20 mostly Republican-leaning states, say ruling against her has negative consequences, too. A lawyer for the CatholicVote.org education fund told the court that if the lower court ruling stands and Smith loses, “a Jewish choreographer will have to stage a dramatic Easter performance, a Catholic singer will be required to perform at a marriage of two divorcees, and a Muslim who operates an advertising agency will be unable to refuse to create a campaign for a liquor company.”
The Jewish Coalition for Religious Liberty put it differently, telling the court that a Jewish baker could have to fulfill the request of a Neo-Nazi who wants a cake saying “Happy November 9th!” — a reference to Kristallnacht, the night in 1938 when Nazis burned synagogues and vandalized Jewish businesses throughout Germany and Austria.
Alan B. Morrison, a constitutional law expert at Georgetown University, underscored that Smith doesn’t currently do wedding websites, making the case particularly speculative and, he says, problematic. Still, Morrison chuckled at some of the hypothetical scenarios both sides came up with, suggesting they are “a bit overblown.”
The examples, he said, are “the kind of thing a law professor would think of.”

I wanna read one of your president fics but I have like .5% knowledge about the US presidents so could you give me a rundown on the presidents in one of the fics I should read-? Also why do you know so much. Are you planning on becoming a history major-
okay so like ngjfgkbh its below but read tags for all issues mentioned:
the chatfic is basically all of them so i cant run down ALL of them, but basically fuck LBJ, fuck reagan, fuck jefferson, fuck FDR, fuck like... a hella ton of those mfs. stan bobby kennedy and jack kennedy. for the linken fic, JFK was obviously the the 35th president. He was involved in the Space Race between the USA and the Soviet Union for like, basically who can get in space faster. His Presidency carried most of the Cold War and he actually started to draw back soldiers from Vietnam and TRIED to repair this stupid ass government, but LBJ said 'fuck that' and put the soldiers back. His soldiers were... uh... well... cant explain but illegally horrible.
Lincoln, 16th President, Civil War. Was Republican which I know sounds hella unusual but back then, parties were basically switched. Hell, Jackson, one of the worst who did the Trail of Tears which took Native Americans' land and forced them off of it, created the Democratic Party. His Presidency was mostly on the Civil War but of course the Emancipation Proclamation came through. The War was originally states rights but became slavery real quick. States--mostly the South, which made up the Confederacy--receded from the start and boom it started. Once it was over they began to come back. Bro got shot ofc as you know. Was hella sad and depressed and had mommy issues + abandonment issues + was probably bisexual.
JFK probably was too, and there's a BUNCH of weird coincidences between them, so that's why LinKen exists. One of the best nicknames i've seen for them is Headshot Homos. He had chronic illness + his back was always in pain and he had to take a shit ton of pills for it. He may've been SA'd as a kid too, which leads into the hypersexual activity, and that leads to the cheating.
SO TL;DR: you dont need to know just about anything to read the fics. I barely go for historical accuracy. For the notes, it's usually at the end where I add in any fun history facts, most of which are on TR because... well. They are. The chatfic and some references may not make sense if you don't know some stuff, but the comments--the 100+ there are, or 200+ i dont remember--have a bunch of facts in them by some super cool ass readers/friends. There's two other chatfics made inspired by mine, and the one by JFKMyBeloved has a bunch of facts in I believe both chapters notes. The other is hella accurate probably too.
Overall you can go in and see them as original characters and you're good. I'll explore the trauma as I have in chapter 11 throughout. And as I said any TR shit WILL be explained because I can't stop including that mf in EVERYTHING 💀💀
and tbh it just started as a hamilton phase, became more, and soon i was reading a fuck ton of books. i guess my brain decided TR would be my ONE president that I care the most about. 2000+ pages have been put into learning about this mf and HOURS of documentaries and reading his letters to his kids (it's in a book, A Bully Father, 10/10 with some spelling mistakes though). So I can barely tell you about the others but I WILL tell you abt TR ahsjdkfghnm
so yeah kind of i guess. if political science doesnt work, it's history, and then english. that's my Plan A, B, and C in order.

"MENTAL, MORAL SIDE OF SPORT ARE IMPORTANT," Hamilton Spectator. August 29, 1933. Page 5. ---- Mere Muscle Development is Not All --- Judge Jackson Addresses Lions Club ---- Stresses Value of Modern Athletics ---- "If my interest in athletics, extending over a period of some 40 odd years, was confined entirely to the muscular development, I doubt that I would have ever become interested," declared Judge J. A. Jackson, past president of the Amateur Athletic Union of Canada, as one of the pertinent and timely ob- servations of his address to the Lions club of this city during the weekly meeting at the Royal Connaught hotel yesterday at noon.
Judge Jackson, presiding judge of Lethbridge, Alta., and district, was one of many notables at the meeting, the Lions being very fortunate in obtaining the learned judiciary as guest speaker, and his discourse on amateurism and sports in general proved most impressive.
Introduced by W. A. Fry, of Dunnville, vice-president of the A.A.U. of C., and reputed holder of more titles in amateur official cir- cles than any other Canadian, Judge, Jackson was by Sam R. Manson. W. H. Crocker, president of the A.A.U. of C., W. A. Hewitt, Toronto, secre- tary of the O.H.A., and P. J. Mulqueen, chairman of the Canadian Olympic committee, were unable to be present.
"Hamilton," observed the speaker, in his opening remarks, "is one of the places that keeps Canada on the map. I have the greatest respect for Hamilton as an athletic center and for my confrere here (Mr. Fry), who will shortly be president of the A.A.U., I predict great things, particularly for the next Canadian Olympic team he will head."
Other Qualities Then the speaker declared that interest only in the muscular development of the athlete was not sufficient. It is to the mental and moral end of things that one must look. Giving various reasons for interest in athletics, which are becoming more and more important, The judge stated that the secret of mankind's mental well-being came from the days of the ancient Romans, who believed in giving the populace bread and games to keep them content.
Judge Jackson observed that the crime wave which reached its height four or five years ago could be traced to early war days when the youth of from thirteen to eighteen years was neglected during the stress of difficult times. With no older companions to show them the way, he said, the youngsters drifted into bad company. As the older boy leads, he declared, the younger boy will follow, and he then charged those just graduated from the teen age to show way that their younger companions might place their feet in the proper steps. The older boy of tomorrow, he said, and in ending the big trouble. to fill a boy's day, he said healthy and beneficial sport must be brought into play.
Play Is Vital "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," he stated, quite pertinently, "but no work and no play makes Jack a criminal. We must direct our pleasure-minded lives along the proper channels that the youngsters will follow and obtain benefit. The best way to handle idle hours is in clean and wholesome sport. If there is no work let's give them bread and games and we'll find that the general improvement that has been reached during the past fifteen years will continue, and that amateur sports of all kinds will hold a major part in the lives and well-being of the community."
The speaker, a cousin of the president, Dr. E. C. Jackson, who occupied the chair, voiced his pleasure in being able to propound a subject near and dear to him, and he referred jocularly to his introducers, Messrs. Fry and Manson. The attendance prize, donated by Howard Williams, was won by Sam Manson.

MICHAEL JACKSON AND PAUL McCARTNEY: BEHIND THE SCENES OF “SAY, SAY, SAY” – The Adventures of Mac and Jack ‼️
“In a rural American setting, Mac and Jack (McCartney and Jackson) play traveling con-men who sell potions that they claim give people supernatural strength. After staging a fake demo, they pocket the audience's money and immediately flee. However, his offense is excusable, because the money obtained by dishonest means is destined for a nearby orphanage. Their adventures later lead them to perform in a cabaret, with the help of the charming Linda McCartney, who is sometimes at the piano to accompany the company's performances and other times is complicit in their antics, shouting "Fire!" to disperse the crowd as quickly as possible. Behind the scenes, they get ready in a room at the Union Hotel in Los Alamos, which is now as it was during filming and can be visited, much to the delight of the fans (see photo below). The video ends in the back of a pickup truck as they set off on new explorations. Most of the short film was filmed at the Sycamore Valley Ranch in Los Olivos, Santa Barbara County, California, which Michael Jackson would buy in the late 1980s and build his Neverland there.
The budget for this cinematic adventure was estimated at nearly $327,000. Bob Giraldi recalled the atmosphere of camaraderie on the set of Say Say Say. The actors really seemed to enjoy working together, and the director captured that friendship on film. Jeffrey Hornaday, who choreographed the video, also remembered that bond. He recounted how, while the film crew was setting up the set, Paul picked up an old guitar and started playing. Michael grinned and began singing with him an improvised acoustic version of Say Say Say. Check out the music video for Say Say Say:
