There's an interesting example of Dany misremembering things, which shows how GRRM cares to write how people's memories can be fallible. Quaithe's prophecy to Dany is this:

Dany's wrist still tingled where Quaithe had touched her. "Where would you have me go?" she asked.

"To go north, you must journey south. To reach the west, you must go east. To go forward you must go back, and to touch the light you must pass beneath the shadow." - Daenerys III ACOK

But in ADWD, Dany remembers it wrong:

"I remember the way. I go north to go south, east to go west, back to go forward. And to touch the light I have to pass beneath the shadow." She squeezed the water from her silvery hair. "I am half-sick of riddling. In Qarth I was a beggar, but here I am a queen. I command you—" - Daenerys II ADWD

Though later she is reminded again of the correct prophecy in her dreams:

She dreamed. All her cares fell away from her, and all her pains as well, and she seemed to float upward into the sky. She was flying once again, spinning, laughing, dancing, as the stars wheeled around her and whispered secrets in her ear. "To go north, you must journey south. To reach the west, you must go east. To go forward, you must go back. To touch the light you must pass beneath the shadow." - Daenerys X ADWD

We also have another example of this with Arya misremembering the name of Joffrey's sword:

"You're safe with me." Joffrey drew his Lion's Tooth from its sheath. The sound of steel on leather made her tremble. "This way," he said, riding through a stand of trees. - Sansa I AGOT

Ngl I don’t know what to make of Sandor clegane saying “one day I'll have a song from you, whether you will it or no” — and Sansa saying “I’ll sing it for you gladly”. Like….singing is so clearly associated with s3x, and in her chapters specifically.

It pretty well foreshadows the scene during the Battle of the Blackwater.

Sandor is clearly using the song as a sexually charged, threatening metaphor here - and does it again in his attempted sexual assault with a knife at her throat.

Sansa doesn't catch this implication. She is twelve and grew up sheltered, she promises a song. And she represses his vicious implied meaning again when he uses it the second time. She twists his darkly cynical, cruel demand for a "song" into a spiritual self-defense. An actual song. Gentle Mother, font of mercy. It defeats him. It saves her. He cries with shameful despair and leaves, further atrocity avoided.

Sansa rewrites the traumatic experience of narrowly averted rape, the "kiss" of the blade, into a fictional kiss. It's less horrific, easier to bear. A lie to cover the true extend of the horror. He asked for a "song", he "kissed" her.

This isn't foreshadowing for some romantic entanglement at a later point. This is foreshadowing a scene that has already played out for us.

Whoever Sansa will end up freely singing for (or sharing a metaphorical "song" with) in the future, it's not this guy.

Look, you can’t call Sansa a reliable narrator. Like, there’s a lot of unreliable narrators in ASOIAF (*cough* cersei *cough*) but i HAVE to give Sansa the “least reliable narrator” award. She is NOT merely perceiving events according to her own notions and biases to construct an imperfect representation of reality, babes. No. Not Sansa. No, Sansa has FALSIFIED HER OWN MEMORIES. as a COPING MECHANISM. Girlieeeee any poll of ‘most reliable’, Sansa should LOSE.
