I desperately need the Thrawn stans (specifically novel Thrawn Stans) to remember that Thrawns whole deal is rebuilding the Empire and fighting the New Republic.

Tuvok and T’Pel are walking through an unknown planet. Tuvok tells T’Pel to stay close to him as he’s a Starfleet security officer and much more knowledgeable about how to traverse unfamiliar spaces. T’Pel agrees, then says she believes there might be carnivorous plants around. Tuvok says that’s probably unlikely. He’s well-versed in botany and on top of that his readings don’t indicate- [A plant descends from a tree and attempts to swallow him whole before spitting him out onto the ground. A moment of silence as he picks himself back up, covered in plant drool.] T’Pel says he was correct after all, the plant wasn’t carnivorous. Tuvok senses she’s making fun of him but says “Indeed...” anyway, attempting to look dignified.
