21.Theres a scene where Peter calls pison control to ask about gaining superpowers,and they try to get him to call a psychiatric hospital ,and thats a good bit

22.OK for the record this script is pretty good....But this is the most dated and goofy part.Like OK in the comics Spidey's debut is in a wrestling match against Crusher Hogan,this is a key part of the orgin and the Sam Raimi film even kept it changing the wrestler to Bonesaw McGraw played by a scene stealing Randy Savage .....Well in this script they keep the scene....AND HAVE SPIDEY FACTUAL REAL WRESTLER HULK HOGAN.I dunno if they had Hogan premission or if he was working for the Canon group at the time .And no I dunno why I can accept a man crawling on walls fighting an octopus man but Hulk Hogan is a step to far but it is

23.Like that Petey is wearing a fly mask

24.Hulk Hogan gives Peter solid life advice of being a good guy.....I dont follow wrestling or no much abot Hulk Hogan so I dunno if this scene has aged poorly or not

25.So Peter gets the suit custom made.Neat

26.So Peters a Tony Bennet fan ......He has the same taste in music as my grandma

27.Doc OCk is very Body Horrorish here,the tentacles fused with his flesh

28.So Doc Ocks motives......Are the exact same ones he has in Sam Raimis Spider Man 2.Demeanors diffrent ,no Rosie here ,but the obsession over completing an experiment is the same

29.I cant picture Peter Cushing saying "Out on your ass "

30.Annnnd Thorkel fires Doc Ock ,only to be killed by his tentacles,which is actually something standard in Superhero movies,the boss who is mean to the villain becoming a victim of them

31.Ah they include Doc Ocks green and yellow costume,here a jogging suit .....Confession time Ive never liked the green and yellow outfit for Doc Ock ,but fun way to include it,though pairing it with an overcoat like in the script could work

32.The Human Spider is used as Petes initial name ....Which the Raimi film also used .Weird

33.Harry is kicked out of the university and is drunk.Honestly feel bad for him

34.Its very belivable that this Doc Ock is a murderer .Very broody and misanthropic

35.Basketball scene that is very similar to Amazing Spider Man

36.I like that Doc Ock begins his crime spree BEFORE Spidey becomes a hero.In fact I like that Otto and Peters stories are parallel

It's taken a lot of Dall-e prompting, but I've finally gotten somewhere, trying to capture another memorable sequence in 'Simulacrum' (1992?) - bear in mind this is all from memory, and those memories are old. In fact, the scene I've tried to capture looks nothing like this, but I wanted to get across the main elements: this female captive in a dark, tunnel-like cell who is chained (Dall-e is quite strict on generating that kind of stuff) and can't see much because she's wearing this weird, kind-of-organic helmet which has distorting eye goggles. A feeding tube attached to the helmet keeps her alive.

This character (sorry - I don't remember her name) can move around the space. She finds out she's not alone. There is this droid, which I would say is like a mini R2D2. I got the sense this little robot is supposed to be a surrogate child. Funny thing I do remember is that it leaks acid out of a duct when it gets nervous. Anyway, I shall post something else about the droid. What I've added to this scene is the mysterious figure who stays in the shadows and messes with the mind of the main character by whispering things and hurting the droid.

Reading Ted Newsome and John Brancato's Spiderman script

1.So we start with an artsy shot of a spider web before showing our antagonist Doc Ock working on the Cyclotron (Im assuming this is the The Mcguffin ).I like the intro to Ock,working with a tenticaled doodad,while taking a drag of a cigarette and eating a chili dog.I also like the depiction of him as a brooding broadly built guy with long hair ,a bit unkempt with stains on his shirt due to being focused on his work

2.So we are introduced to Ocks colleagues,and OC's for the film Thorkle (Tall thin guy wearing glasses in his 40's) and Rossomoff (Who despite being 75 is very spry).The writers were Hammer fans so wrote these roles with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee respectfully in mind ....Which I see it ,but Lee was younger then Cushing but whatever,maybe makeup

3.So Bob Hoskins was the main choice for Doc Ock .....And I kind of love the idea of this super genius having Hoskins signature Cockney accent

4.Also Rossomoff admits he doesnt like Thorkle to Ock,RIGHT IN FRONT OF THORKLE .DAaaaaaaaaaaamn what did Thorkle do to get disdain from both Ock and Rossomoff ???

5.Huh Peter is a collage student here instead of Highschool.Neat

6."Curtis Connors Science center " Cute

7.So Harry Osborne here is an awkward weird friend in a heavy metal T Shirt......So he is basically Evil Ed from Fright Night

8.Liz Allen is reading Jane Austin ....Dont know what else to say but she is

9.Also so Liz Allen is the romantic interest instead of Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane Watson....Interesting

15.Also should point out Stan Lee wanted to play JAmeson

16.So Aunt May here is a woman in her 50's,very stylish and full of life......So the opposite of comic Aunt May ,and thank the Lord for that .Honestly this feels more like modern takes on Aunt May

17.Uncle Ben seems nice ,not the brightest guy but clearly cares for Peter but isnt sure how fatherly to be

18.So Doc Ock is forced to quit an experiment but does it secretly anyway causing an explosion....huh....Why do I feel Spider-Man 2002,Spider-Man 2 and Into the Spiderverse took elements from this movie

19.I like that the accident that makes Otto Doctor Octopus also mutates the Spider that bites Peter

20.Love the pure joy Peter has at finding his powers

This 2022 interview video goes into detail regarding various aspects of the development of Rampage arcade and Rampage World Tour along with other games Brian Colin designed. It's mostly old information, though there are some cool tidbits.

33:21 Apparently while developing the story for Rampage World Tour, Dr. Betty Veronica was intended to be Eustace DeMonic's daughter. Nothing in the game itself indicates any relationship besides her speaking on the phone with him at some points, indicated by the music from his cutscenes. She may even be speaking with him the whole time as opposed to anyone else in her phone cutscenes. That would certainly explain her authority telling either Eustace or some other employee to clean up a toxin due to its unknown effects (in reference to the V.E.R.N. mutation) and why she's being made privy to information about secret weapons as she's the CEO's daughter.

51:59 Rampage 3D: the unmade Rampage World Tour sequel concept. This one is interesting, though I feel like it would've been better as its own property. It's still more creative than simply adding new characters though, even if I do love all the various new characters that got added over the years.

54:27 Brian offered up story ideas for the Rampage movie, only to be turned down. Which sucks but not surprising.

55:22 Brian talks about filming his cameo, meeting Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on the set of the Rampage movie and going to the film's premiere, finding out his cameo was cut from the film and a mention of his interview in the DVD extras. Even if the cameo was cut, Brian was basically treated like royalty from the sound of it and that's saying something compared to how many other creators are treated when adaptations of their properties are made.

58:56 Brian's thoughts on how the film was faithful in spirit to his game stories. He makes a fair point, I'll admit.
