I'm honestly confused about the whitewashing artist because one, she can go and edit it, though she has said she won't which is a red flag, two LITERALLY THE POST DOWN FROM THE OSIRIS ONE HAS A WONDERFULLY MADE, POC SHAXX IN IT

I do think that ppl should of just messages the creator directly instead of making a ton of reblogs on it and using silly language (at first, like ‘very unpogs ((or something like that) instead of almost immediately attacking the artist (been a bit since I've seen those posts tho so bear with me) as I find that it would if helped this situation A LOT

Of course, I don't mean to defend the artist since they did still have ppl telling them that Osiris seemed (is) whitewashed, but they did still post (I think it's deleted now?) about how they won't go back and fix it anyway. So, yeah

I don't know how to end this off and you don't know me aside from some questions and little comments here and there, so I do want to point out that I DO agree with the fact that Osiris is whitewashed and all that, so yeah?

Yeah, I am also confused because when looking at TCB's art, I can tell that she knows how to draw a person of colour. Which just makes it so strange that the Osiris one is whitewashed.

Also, initial attempts to point out whitewashing were civil. Maybe a little snarky, but otherwise there were no awful immediate callouts or anything. Even the anons that TCB responded to in order to say she won't change the art were being polite. They are now deleted, but the ones TCB answered were politely pointing out the art is whitewashed. I remember one of them even specified that they do not want to sound like they're being hostile.

Hell, I still think TCB can be given the benefit of the doubt and has room to change and improve and I will not tell anyone to unfollow her or delete the reblogs of her art or send her hate. Literally do not send TCB anon hate for the love of god.

But yeah, TCB obviously knows how to draw people of colour and her Shaxx is amazing. It makes it all the more baffling that Osiris didn't get the same treatment because I KNOW that TCB has the skills to do it. It's evident from her other art. I genuinely do not understand what's so hard about fixing it. It's such a lovely o14 art otherwise.
