It's been a life long dream of mine to create my own music. I've worked all the 9to5's and I'm to that point where I can't continue to let my life be dictated by a time clock. For that reason I am currently unemployed. During the lockdown I chose to use that time watching videos, reading books and overall studying on how to create music. I created an album to the best of my abilities, released it and it didn't go anywhere.
Is that disappointing? Of course, I was so proud of everything I've learned and put to use. But like reality always does, it smacked me in the face as if to say, nobody knows who you are. I don't have any family in the music business, I don't come from money and I'm not currently living in a city with a relatable music scene. But I choose not to dwell on when I don't have. Instead I focus on what I do have. If anybody reads this, I could really use some advice, direction or criticism. From this day on, I will use this platform as a guide to success or failure.
