Prentiss is love. She a bad bitch. Don't therten her you litter ass bitch I'll fight her. Emily stand ya ground.
Deputy douchbag grow some balls.
Sicarius is hot. I'm sorry I'm a whore for a man like him. And I opps.
Haha bitch you dead.
Deputy douch this your fault.
Go off Emily go offffff.
Cat. Catttt. Cute cat. Tyler holding cat is Hella cute.
But Dave seriously we needa talk. This man is who you want to be dating the girl you see as a daughter. SERIOUSLY?! DO YOU DISLIKE LUKE THAT MUCH?!?!
Is JJ and Luke in trouble?..I'm scared.
Tyler still holding cat fucking hell.
I'm scared. JJ DONT DO IT. Ahh she's ringing him I wanna cry. Stay by the car please.
Deputy douch shutting up finally.
Emily voice waver on the please.
I'm sorry I started laughing at Penelopes. Oh no..
Tara and Luke are bestie like I know they all family but thoes two remind me of Derek and Spencer and I. Ow.
Rossi can't handle anymore deaths please.
I mean we all know no ones gonna die cos like they aren't gonna do that but still.
Oooh what if this is how they bring back Reid or Hotch or even my Morgan 😍😋 just like they run to the hospital cos JJ is hurt.
So is that when Penelope confesses to Luke that she's is love orrrr do I have to wait longer for that?

How I think the various members of the BAU would fare were they given Spencer’s prison plot line
Note: this is based off of how prisons are depicted in the show and in fiction in general and these are my personal hcs
Emily:
I think Emily is about the only one who could survive in prison personality unchanged. Maybe slightly more unhinged, but she’d make her strength known quickly and probably become the leader of a girl gang
JJ:
JJ would play up the Halo Effect Killer aspect, using unsubs she’d seen as a model for behaving like you used your beauty to escape consequences for your crimes. She’d master a dead-eyed stare and not speak often
Penelope:
Penelope would be perceived as weak at first and might face some bullying, but if she tapped into her hacker persona and used her actual crimes she’d gain prison cred. She wouldn’t be a member or leader of a gang but she’d have a few hanger ons and people wouldn’t mess with her
Tara:
Tara’s height and natural physicality would serve her well in prison. She’s also got a very good intimidating stare. People would be afraid to start with her. She’d also immediately begin working out in the yard, showing how very bad an idea it would be to mess with her
Kate:
Kate wouldn’t have a good time in prison. Her heart is too big. She’s definitely end up in a big sister position for some of the younger inmates and would likely often get into conflicts with the guards for being too rough
Ashley:
Ashley would walk into prison with cred. She would be unbothered but her volatile temper would only get worse
Elle:
Elle would not have to fight to get respect. She exudes this do-not-fuck-with-me energy that promises that she can be scary if pushed. She also wouldn’t be afraid of anything and calm under pressure. If someone did mess with her, her vengeance would be swift and untraceable
Jordan:
Jordan would get into a lot of fights in prison. She would win, but she’d get into a lot of fights and she’d fight dirty. Eventually she’d become a lieutenant in a girl gang
Alex:
Alex couldn’t be messed with because she’s too unbothered. She wouldn’t get involved in any arguments or rise to provocation, just dismiss it all with a cutting word. Her age would grant her respect as well.
Derek:
Derek would survive prison but he’d be quite traumatized by his experiences. He’d be stoic on the outside and horrified on the inside. He’d try his hardest to not join a gang, probably inventing some sort of reason why he couldn’t. Like Kate he’d get thrown in solitary for fighting with the guards over abuse of power and that’s when he’d silently cry over everything he’s seen
Stephen:
Stephen would be very chill about the whole thing. He has such kind vibes that as long as he stayed in his lane he wouldn’t be messed with, the type to form genuine friendships on the inside.
Luke:
Like Stephen, Luke would get along with people easily. He’d only become angry if directly provoked. Lots of posturing, not a ton of real physical follow through although Luke certainly could if he wanted to
Hotch:
Hotch has the strongest case of don’t-fuck-with-me face that I’ve ever seen. So he’d be fine, so long as he didn’t let anyone find out he was an fbi agent or a father. I think the former would be harder to hide and also more dangerous to reveal.
Dave:
Dave would have a leg up because of the stereotype surrounding older Italian men in prison. He’s just gotta be part of the mafia right? As a storyteller and a profiler, Dave would be able to weave just enough truth into his stories to make himself seem very intimidating and impressive. As long as the ruse holds up, and it would hold up to most scrutiny, he’d be just fine, if a bit lonely
Matt:
Matt would kick ass in prison but he wouldn’t have to very often. His arms alone would deter most attackers unless they were a group. Even then, they might make it out alive but not unscathed
Spencer:
Frankly the way they portrayed Spencer felt pretty in character to me, but that could just be confirmation bias talking. I am amazed that Spencer never came up with the idea of escape, I feel like he’d turn to that before other crimes like drug running. I also expected him to make up an entirely different identity for himself rather than slowly just become a bit darker
Would love to hear people’s thoughts, but not looking to start an argument

From the build a blurb! :)
🥥🦖
'I thought I told you to shut up'.
I like the idea of reader and Spencer being academic rivals and always trying to one-up each other on cases/facts/work/EVERYTHING. And then, for some reason, having to hide in a tiny closet and they're having a kinda heated (but petty) argument and ✨sexual tension✨ is high. Similar vibe to Nicholas and Mia in Princess Diaries 2, if you have seen it?
Also, congratulations on 5k!! You're amazing!! Thank you so much for everything!
thanks for celebrating 5k friends with us
🥥 enemies to lovers 🦖 forced proximity i thought i told you to shut up
"Can you stop doing that?" You asked after Spencer tapped his pen for the 9 millionth time.
Of course, you got the worst job of the case, having to sit in the supply closet with your least favorite person in the whole FBI. It was the unsub's fault for potentially being in the very police station you were working out of. It was also Hotch's fault for partnering you and Spencer up to look through the officers' files in the tiniest room in the place where they could accidentally find you and completely devolve.
More than anything, it was Spencer's fault for being so irritating that you needed to be at least 10 feet away from him to not want to punch him.
He had annoyed you from when you first joined the team when he insisted that he thought of something you profiled about the unsub first. It was supposed to be your moment to earn their respect, but instead, you had found yourself biting your tongue and acting like it was all his thinking.
From that moment on, all you two had done was argue over tiny problems. If he thought one thing, you had to add to the idea and claim it as yours. If you made a mistake, he had to loudly announce it to the team.
Spencer irritatingly looked at you from across the tiny desk, illuminated by only one tiny lightbulb. "It helps me think." He claimed, tapping louder to annoy you.
It had never helped him think before, and you rolled your eyes to display your annoyance. "Well, it's stopping me from thinking." You claimed.
"That isn't really a concern for me." He told you, not waiting for you to reply before he elaborated. "Because we don't need your brain when we have mine."
"Fine." You agreed, dropping the file you were reading through. "You can do it all, and I'll just sit here." Why do any word when he was offering to do it for you? Instead, you could stare at his pretty features as he poked his tongue out and worked. It was another reason you hated him, the intense pull he had on you.
Spencer took the files you were working through. "Well, it would be easier if you please shut up."
The idea didn't sound as appealing as annoying him did. "I'd really rather not."
"Do you really like the sound of your own voice that much?" He asked, eyes darting up from the file to meet yours. His pupils were wider than normal, and you weren't sure it was solely caused by the lack of light in the room.
"Yes, actually, I do." You answered the very much rhetorical question.
Spencer rolled his eyes at the answer he didn't want. "I thought I told you to shut up."
"Firstly, you said 'please,' and secondly, you're not in charge of me." It was, maybe, the most childish thing you could think to say, but as long as it annoyed him, it didn't matter.
"Sorry for being polite." He said sarcastically. You couldn't help glancing at his lips and wondering if they were always so pink. The most perfect shade of pink. "I didn't know it was such a bad quality."
It wasn't. He knew it wasn't. And he knew you knew that. And you also knew he was the kindest person anyone could find, just not to you.
His attention was so far off the files and he just looked right into your eyes for so long that you thought he was going to kiss you because he really looked like he was.
You could see every part of his face, every perfect inch, and god was he attractive. Maybe the prettiest person on earth. His breath was hot against your skin and you could feel his knee resting in between yours.
Face-to-face, almost like a staring match with so much chemical attraction you could feel it pulsing between you. Only inches apart and you couldn't help but glace between his lips and his eyes, and he was doing the same thing.
And then the phone rang.

it's finals week and i have oc brainrot and zero time to write fics so instead i'm gonna do a masterpost of things i come up with while studying.
derek, piper, and spencer have big 'oldest child, middle child, youngest child' energy where derek will tell piper to make sure spencer doesn't do something stupid (like take off his vest and confront an unsub) and then piper will do something stupid (like confront the unsub unarmed)
emily, penelope, and piper bring a very emo, goth, punk vibe to the table that make people uncomfortable, especially during halloween parties where they agree to come as witches. emily has a very haunted evanescence vibe, penelope goes full goth, and piper's gone full punk with piercings and earrings and metal rings.
putting rossi and piper in a kitchen together is a huge mistake. he's a purist, she's a perfectionist, and the only time they cooperate is to tell emily and spencer to get away from the knives.
piper and jack are huge thrill seekers. she teaches him to rock-climb and dive into pools and when he's still 5-7 years old, he comes with hotch and piper on their saturday morning runs with a scooter to motivate them. for his 12th birthday, piper buys him a skateboard and shoulder/knee pads and a helmet and teaches him how to skate.
piper and hotch have a very similar sense of humour, and a couple years into the job, they only have to look at each other with barely noticeable smirks.
after gideon leaves, piper notices how arson cases/cases involving children affect hotch just that little bit more than the rest of them and she offers to take the lead in interviewing victims/taking down unsubs
despite being relatively new to the team, hotch puts an immense amount of trust in piper when she wants to follow a tangent, even if it'll get him in trouble with strauss.
piper and derek are both defensive instructors at the academy, and they both have very different teaching styles. derek's a little more instructional, like teaching them to paddle before they start swimming. piper throws her students in the deep end, she's a lot tougher on them, and she doesn't hold back as much when they're sparring with her. the students definitely prefer derek as an instructor, but piper's students always seem to perform a little bit better than his ones.
piper and spencer both teach psych 101 classes at the academy, and while they're very good separately, when they're teaching together, the class is jam-packed. students who aren't even taking the class show up because it. gets. heated. spencer's got a very textbook straightforward teaching style, piper's is experiential-based case study style teaching, and they butt heads. a lot.
rossi asks piper to beta-read his books for her perspective and when he gets them back, she's given him more edits than the editor he actually has.
piper's journals every case, good or bad, and keeps an eye on every criminal they've arrested -- making sure they're being treated appropriately, whether they're getting the help they need etc.
henry and piper have a big parallel play vibe where they don't talk much, but he'll sit beside her and draw with his crayons while piper works on her caseload and they'll both sip from their mugs -- his drink of choice is orange juice (extra pulpy) and hers is tea.
piper takes extra effort to make sure the bau spouses (haley, will, savannah, kristy etc.) all feel as included as possible because she knows how exclusionary it can feel. she'll take the time to find out what their favourite foods are, and if they're doing a whole cook-out thing, she'll make the kind of food they like.
technically, penelope and spencer are the go-to god-parents, but piper's always in the background, making sure the kids are going to bed on time, that they're eating their veggies, that they've got their coats on if it's cold outside, and derek knows. so when he has hank, he asks piper to be the godmother, because there's no-one he trusts more to be a good parent.

Alrighty. Here we are. Criminal Minds 16x06, "True Conviction". I've already seen it a couple times now, but I wanted to do one of these anyway.
Spoilers and extremely long play-by-play under the cut.
I'm unreasonably psyched for this
this technobabble doesn't wholly make sense to me. why would GPS matter?
obvs the most recognizable thing about JJ is the symbol of her marriage, great
lmao this is how I know I'm way down the rabbit hole for Paget - when I first saw Garcia's "bring 'em home, Emily" line, my brain helpfully supplied the sound of Arden Myrin's hilarious impression of Peter Pilot's mom Barb crying "Bring her hooooooome, Peter!" iykyk and if you don't, it's very unimportant
the smirk and eyebrow was completely wrong for the moment, yet Incredibly Hot
big style Janeway vibes as the turbolift elevator doors close
wow the jet is schmancy - wall sconces! it's wide enough to accommodate the new aspect ratio!
SUEDE JACKET EMILY
Tara you look so sad. Wish you had a hand to hold, your friends keep getting blowed up
Luke's ALIVE yessss
oh little baby unsub running through the forest....got bopped on the head....
now he's...locked in a cupboard under the stairs? harry potter?
MAC AND CHEESE MOTIF
god I want mac and cheese
I like this bad uncle guy. He's hilarious. Real good crazy eyes.
this really could have been a musical
honestly I think my dad served me that exact meal when I was a kid and my mom was away on business. Except mine also included canned potatoes (disGUSTing)
Emily hugging Luke and like...no shot of her acknowledging JJ? It annoyed me the first time and now it's HILARIOUS. Just...conspicuously avoiding JJ? I love her relief about Alvez (me too Emily!), and she already knew that JJ was up and moving and not dead. But...they had time for that hug and nothing else? FUNNY. CM flew too close to the Jemily Sun with "200" and the long walk back is still ongoing.
I guess if I wanted to watch this with my Jemily goggles... this could fit *very* well with the plot of "Late Bloomer", a lovely fic by angestreet in progress on AO3 (https://archiveofourown.org/works/43418964). ANYWAY - the not touching/having trouble being normal with JJ fits with an Emily who has been putting distance between herself and JJ for complicated emotional reasons she's just starting to understand. Or perhaps an Emily and JJ who have had some sort of personal conflict that we, the audience, were not privy to (see also: the "what ifs and if onlys" conversation in season 13). I mean, I still think it's a conspicuously odd choice on the TV screen, but there's room for some interesting storytelling there.
on the other hand - the flight down there from Quantico is at least 90 minutes. Plenty of time for the folks on the jet to get a phone update from JJ. I think we're led to believe they did NOT have that communication (i.e. the splosion interrupted cell service for a prolonged period), as otherwise why would Emily be palpably relieved about Luke's well-being once she gets eyes on him?
Ponytail Prentiss. Ma'am.
The brief and supportive embrace of JJ from Tara and Rossi? Beautiful. Chef's kiss. Lovely.
LOL this music. Teachin' the kid to lye. (haha im so funny)
So...are we to believe he is conflicted about his serial killer education?
No time for politics, Dougie boy!
ooh I wonder who the Attorney General is. Do you think we'll get to see her? Please be CCH Pounder.
Political pressure and machinations seem to be a theme this season. As I recall, prior CM painted its political villains more as bad individuals (Barnes, Strauss, seemingly Bailey at the start of this season). It does feel like CME is more deliberately placing the BAU in the context of a justice / law enforcement *system* that is corrupted or disturbed by political concerns (and otherwise wonderful and perfect and not at all corrupt in itself). Kind of interesting.
Poor Tyler.
Look! JJ talking directly to Emily! It happened! Not in the same frame, but. I just have to remind myself that these things actually happen.
Can you imagine Prentiss arm wrestling Bailey. She'd wipe the floor with that silly noodle. Her glare is too powerful, forget her arm.
So Bailey's *not* the reason they haven't been using the jet? It's the nebulous "politics"? Vague, but not a huge leap. We've already had Senator Aunt Zelda call back to the way Congress sometimes likes to hold the federal budget hostage to achieve certain ends.
ugh....friends....this should come as no surprise...... i'm so gone for her...... her visage pleases me no end..... (mind filled with spooky echoing whispers of sssmokeshhhow prentisssss)
Acting! Executive realness Emily. And she does trust Tara's ability to do the job, but is cognizant of those "politics" etc.
Tara knows she's staring at a shit sandwich coming her way. Tara, I love you. I'm sorry this is hard.
Tyler: "Some dude gave me my clothes back. Also he took my sick Crocs. I don't get it. Am I getting out of here?"
I like PG's dress.
MOAR HUGS!!!! love that. Whoopsy you hurt Luke's lil injured wrist bb.
JONATHAN DEL ARCO, my MAN. First watch through I did not recognize him but found him compelling. I love that guy. I loved seeing him reprise his role as Hugh in ST: Picard. I love his work here.
Emily is... compassionate in this interview. Doesn't feel adversarial. That look when he says he just wants to die.
Oy, poor JJ. She is stuck in this stupid situation with her business gnome husband where she gets to feel guilty AND almost got blowed up! And Will, please. "I promise to never miss your call ever again." Guys come on - be realistic here! This is So Dumb. I've never been able to hate Will despite the ways their relationship rubs me the wrong way. Because if nothing else, JJ does seem to mostly really like him. I don't get it, girl, but who am I to say? She looks really shaken in this scene. This gives me a bad feeling. I'm a little worried this storyline is going to end in her transferring out of the BAU or retiring or otherwise putting her family above her career in a more decisive way.
Tyler and Penelope... I don't hate it. Pen deserves some lovin' and she's a kind and compassionate soul. Luke adores her and he's better than Tyler in terms of current emotional stability I'd say. But the heart wants what the heart wants and sometimes the heart simply enjoys whatever is on offer. She must have her reasons.
I had to watch this Tara/Emily/Luke scene like 4 times because I couldn't hear the dialogue over everyone's insane BEAUTY. The HAIR. the..um...curves...the brown houndstooth over the navy shirt...Luke was there too...
side note: I hate the AirBnB/Target/IKEA generic-ass photography decorating the FBI offices. Federal offices are boring yes but usually in a more dorky way.
Oh! They are fighting in the Family Room.
Oh, Rebecca you little nightmare. Tara says Reeves is not Sicarius and that's all it takes for you to accuse her of dealing in conspiracy theories? That got my hackles up. FASCINATING. I can't look away.
Again...this plays into that same looming "Politics" business - the people around & in the way of our heroes are motivated by optics, by career ambition, by the *appearance* of justice served and the currency that provides. ...That exchange in episode 1602 or 1603, when Bailey suggests getting Domestic Terrorism involved to make people feel safe and Prentiss replies that that wouldn't make them safe.
This scene with Tara/Emily/Luke is lovely. They've got her back. She's a professional. Emily's reaction like "oof been there".
This interrogation. The tacit communication between Tara and Emily when Tara steps in (hot). The way Tara carefully talks her way to the point. The way Silvio's eyes cut over at "I met this woman" and then he looks away. The way the connection has been made - he does feel seen. He's smart too. And he's spent how many years committed to his path - death for the safety of the man he loved. I really enjoyed this scene.
Y'know Emily is consistently good about acknowledging Penelope's good work. I'm sure that's been true for the whole show, but noticeable here too - in 1603 when she tells PG her idea is really good, and here. Love it.
Oh now that I'm watching it carefully - PG has a whole MOMENT as she opens up about her own grief (unfortunate how many times the word "hole" appeared in this convo but wcyd). His lean in is NOT unwarranted, it's there in her eyes...
new catchphrase "it just makes the hole different"
I like Silvio's novio. I like that he found a way to live free of shame and fear. It does kind of beg the question why he didn't try harder to exonerate Silvio in the intervening years, but let's not dwell.
Rebecca's "I have never not been on your side" okay lady. you were pretty mad earlier and implied your girlfriend and her team were full of shit so... I guess you're a human being! lmao. I hate to see Tara back-footed like this but this is juicy.
oh hello hottie. Emily Prentiss, the way you sit in a chair.
Paget's delivery of "I'm not quite following" is hilarious. hashtag relatable.
So "family is what gets you killed". Family as weakness, as vulnerability. I don't doubt that over the next few episodes we'll get more rebuttal to that notion from our heroes, a la "we're a family and that's our strength."
These episodes really don't stand up on their own. They work better together. Can't wait for the next one.

I had a sheezyart account before it went down and it was an alright site. Course the moments when it was all coming down was bad. If you dared to have an adblock active, they'd redirect you a lot to a webpage that has a massive, flashing, seizure triggering banner that read "ADBLOCK PARTY". I wasnt in the best of moods round that time this was happening since it was maybe a month or so after a funeral of my sisters best friend having "unsubbed from life", and being in the same room as her when my mother walked in and broke the news was not very good no sure. So when Sheezyart did that shit I was pissed off, not because of the adblock thing, there were "nicer" ways to ask someone to whitelist a site and this was not one of them.
Anyone recall fireball20xl? I'll give you minute to compose yourself from the brick of bad vibes i just lugged at you.
Anyway remember fireball20xl, it was a site run by a man called psyguy which hosted webcomics made by him and friends of his, among other things. They also hosted a podcast called Whachow "its like a kick in the nuts" which was one of the first podcasts i listened to regularly and had some guests such as shadyvox and lil kuriboh, with segments such as reading out nsfw fanfiction with hammy voice acting, which in hindsight was not appropriate material for someone who was attending high school at that age. One of the segments however was called Personal Fuck You's which were viewer-submitted letters of people anonymously airing grievances towards people/companies and such that pissed them off. Hence the name Personal Fuck You's.
So being me, i decided to write a personal fuck you aimed at Sheezyart and sent it to the submission email. I watched the following podcast live to see if they would read it, though the chances were slim. It got picked. It got read live on the air. Several members including Lil kuriboh read out my letter saying Fuck you to Sheezyart. That night was magical. Nowadays things are different, Psyguy was outed as an abusive, depraved, narcissist (to put it lightly). The site was shutdown and everybody not named psyguy left for much better pastures.
Im currently sitting in my old house, now my sisters house as my mother, step-father and myself moved to my grandparents house since they caught covid last year which left my grandma delerious and vulnerable and my grandfather dead. Im sitting next to a black cat whos on her tower noshing on food and a wee doby pup who is sleeping peacefully beside me on the couch. I like to think im doing pretty ok atm.
I tried seeing if my old account was still around on that site, it doesnt seem like they have it nor my email and i dont feel like making a new account. It was an alright time when it was relevant to my interests but not anymore.
Oh i also met a girl on there who i developed a crush on, whos family were antivax conspiracy nuts, who has ghost friends and was chill to talk with on deviantart. That was neat.

My Little Library | Recommendations
Tumblr media
Since I have been reading a lot of great stories over the past few months and I am still discovering new writers, I decided to compile a little library of the amazing works by some very talented creators for myself and everyone who is looking for recommendations (*contains NSFW content so minors beware). I appreciate all of you so much! This list is in alphabetical order and I will probably add new creators every now and then.
@andiebeaword: I only recently discovered her work and put her masterlist on top of my reading list. I like her writing style and especially loved Wanna See Something Beautiful.
@boldlyvoid: I initially read their work on AO3 a while ago and really loved *Touch Me. Now that I follow them on tumblr I am browsing through their masterlist and am currently enjoying all the angst in Take Me Home.
@fortheloveofcriminalminds: Ok so I discovered her work super recently through the ongoing 'Tis the Season holiday oneshots and I am hooked on her work! I love the idea of *Semi-Charmed Life and can't wait to read it!. (find her masterlist here)
@homoose: I discovered her stories months ago and I loved her series Teach Me Something I Don't Know. I might have also read *Quick Learner, Slow Lover three times or so? Also, the *tum blurb is so precious!
@imagining-in-the-margins: Pom is an inspiration to all of us. Her stories were one of the first ones I discovered when I got into this fandom. I am really enjoying her current series *The Birds & The Bees and her fic *(Don't) Hurt Me holds a special place in my heart. But I have basically read all of her work (find her masterlist here).
@lilliesthings: technically not a writer but I needed to include Lily to this list because I love her fanart so much. One of my favourite pieces is this one. I also really love the Emiliy Prentiss art, makes want to write wlw so bad!
@mercy-burning: Where do I even begin? I've been reading her stories for months on AO3 and always get super excited when she posts something new. I thinks I've read the series *Pretty Please three times and I am currently thrilled about the ongoing series *Summer of Sin (find her masterlist here)
@ontheoddoccasioniwritestuff: I don't really read Criminal Minds AU but when I stumbled across *Mythological Metaphorical I kinda felt like everything made sense and I really loved that. I also liked *Safety First. I have yet to discover his other works but I already know I will enjoy it!
@pretty-boys-book-club: I really loved the (body) worshipping in Do I Wanna Know? and am very excited for her 12 Days of Christmas celebration (find her masterlist here)

@reidsacademia: I am still in awe by all the pictures she included in Let the Flood Carry Away All My Pictures of You and I couldn't stop thinking about Paper Thin Hearts for days after reading it (find her masterlist here).
@safertokiss: Also someone who's work I've read months ago on AO3. I still like to come back every now and then to enjoy *A Little Light Reading (ha, see what I did there?) and the subby Spencer vibes in her other works.
@safespacespence: We started posting here on tumblr at around the same time and that kinda makes me feel connected to her. I really loved the angst in Some, And Now None Of You and the cuteness in Coming Out to Spencer Reid (find her masterlist here)
@samuel-de-champagne-problems: I am still discovering her other works but I enjoyed *Red Lips & Rosy Cheeks and the blurbs When You Have Forever.
@sassymoon: Reading the angst in better off without me and No one else hurt so good! Can't wait to check out her other stories.

@spencer-reid-in-a-pool: I really enjoyed *Stakeout Shenanigans and Sweater Weather and can't wait to discover her other work too!
@writer-in-theory: Jay's stories hold a special place in my heart. I really enjoy their writing style, it always gives me so many feelings. I dig the angst in *The Last Time and Better Man and the fluff in Please Have Snow And Mistletoe is everything (find their masterlist here)

5 Times Aaron Hotchner Cares For You +1 Time You Care For Him
Tumblr media
Title: 5 Times Hotchner Cares For You +1 Time You Care For Him
Request: kinda, not really
Couple: Aaron Hotchner/Reader
Category: Angst w/ the littlest bit of fluff
Content Warning: swearing (if any), several instances of injuries, assault, car accident, being sick (nothing serious, just a bad cold), gun violence (but no one actually getting shot), talks of near death experiences, canon consistent injuries (hotch's injuries from foyet), season 9 ep 5 spoilers/mentions, vague mentions of something bad happening to kids
Word Count: 5,601
Summary: the five times aaron hotchner takes care of you when you’re injured, plus the one time you take care of him when he’s injured.
A/N: this was writing for pom’s discord server fic swap! I was paired with the wonderful @ontheoddoccasioniwritestuff! I took a few of his favorite tropes and prompts he likes and came up with this! The first two instances there’s no relationship, but by the end it’s sort of an implied relationship. Also, I binged dharma and greg while writing this… So Hotch definitely has more of a domestic vibe in a few of the instances. thank you all so much for the support! i really do appreciate it. check out my masterlist!
{***}{***}{***}
One
It was a regular day. You stayed behind to help Aaron and Jennifer work over some cases. The extra pair of eyes would be nice, and maybe they’d be able to get home sooner rather than later. You knew it’d be a late-night no matter what. So you decided to work through your files quickly.
Although, you wished you’d slow it down a bit. You wished you slowed down after you moved a paper just the right way across your finger. A hiss came from your lips as you dropped the paper and file to the table.
“You alright?” Jennifer looked over at you as you stood up. Looking down at your fingers, liquid red came seeping from your finger. Your nose wrinkled as you looked at the injury. It took you a minute to realize what happened as you started at the minor injury across your finger.
“Papercut,” you winced as you looked between Jennifer and the cut on your finger. You brought your finger to your lips, sucking on the wound like a child would have done.
“I have bandaids in my office,” Aaron spoke, looking up from his file and right at you. You looked over at him, your finger still in your mouth. You felt a little weird staring at your boss and superior with your finger in your mouth. “Here, I’ll go get you one,” he looked up at you as he stood. You stared at him, watching him leave the conference room.
“I should go with him, right?” You asked, looking back at JJ. She looked up from her file and right at you.
“He offered you bandaids quicker than I could,” JJ laughed as she lowered her file to the table. You raised an eyebrow at her. “I’d go with him,” a smile grew on JJ’s lips as she looked back at her file.
“Right, I should,” you mumbled as you rushed to your feet. JJ grinned, watching as you rushed out of the room. You were quick as you rushed down the platform, going right to Aaron’s office.
“Unfortunately, I only have Batman bandaids. Is that alright?” Aaron looked up at you, holding a bandaid with Batman and Robin on it. You looked at him, feeling a small smile grow on your lips before nodding.
“Batman will work just fine,” you laughed as you met Aaron in the middle of his office.
“I don’t have anything to clean it with either. So you’ll just have to go to the bathroom. Next time I’ll be better prepared.” Aaron laughed as you took the band-aid from him and looked down at it. “Jack’s the one who picked the theme of the band-aids… Insisted that superheroes help heal all owies.” Aaron laughed again as he watched you examine the theme.
“Oh, no, really. Batman is perfectly fine," You spoke as you peeled the band-aid open and put it over your cut. “And, who said there would be a next time…?”
Two
You sat at the table, sweat pouring off you, while you somehow shivered like a leaf in the wind. You were simultaneously hot and cold, and you couldn’t stop your nose from running like a character in a Tom Hanks movie. You didn’t even realize Aaron was talking to you, everything he said to you went in one ear and out the other.
“Are you even listening to me?” Aaron stopped talking about the case and looked right at you. You looked up from the table and at him.
“Yeah, yeah you said something about…” Your words trailed off, just like any other thought you had at that moment.
“That’s not even close to what I said,” Aaron spoke as he stared at you. He placed the file he was holding on the table and stepped up to you. “Are you feeling fine?”
“I feel great, Aaron. Really. Let’s just get back to work so we can go home,” you rambled as you tried to hold down a cough. Aaron looked down at you as he placed the back of his hand on your forehead. To anyone on the outside, our relationship was strictly professional. But behind closed doors, you both had a pretty simple and normal relationship. It would have seemed weird only to the people in a work environment. But you were used to it and love that side of him.
“Nope, you’re going to the hotel. You’re burning up.” Aaron folded his arms over his chest as he stared at you.
“But I feel fine.” “You’re burning up.”
“But-”
“You’re going back to the hotel,” he spoke sternly, "Don’t even think about calling Garcia to spy on the case. Go back to the hotel, and get some rest.” Aaron looked down at you. You stared up at him, trying to hold back the sneeze or hold down the cough that was making you suffocate.
“I feel… I feel…” Unfortunately, you were cut off by a sneeze, then a cough, and then another sneeze, “Fine!” You tried not to shout, but at that point, you had never felt so… defeated. So you finally let your shoulders fall as you looked up at Aaron. “I’ll go back to the hotel,” you grumbled before grabbing your things.
“Call me if you need anything, please.” Aaron stared at you as you struggled to put your jacket on. He was quiet as he walked over to help you, grabbing a sleeve to your jacket and slipping it on you. You looked up at him with dewy eyes.
“Be safe out there, please,” you quietly pleaded. Aaron pressed his lips to your forehead, which he would regret because of how sweaty you were. You were happy it was just you and Aaron in the precinct, as all the other members of the team were at separate locations.
“Let me know when you get to the hotel.” Aaron walked beside you out to the parking lot. You looked up at him and nodded. “Get all the rest in the world, and drink plenty of fluids.” He looked down at you as he pulled the door open for you.
“Okay, Doctor Reid,” you scoffed and glared at him as you slipped into the car. Aaron returned the glare before pushing the door to the car shut.
The drive to the hotel was quiet, and thankfully pretty quick. You weren’t sure if you were happy to sit this case out. Sure it was nice to have a break from the stress. But you did enjoy being with the team and actually working.
When you finally got to the hotel, you were quick to change from your business-work attire and into your pajamas. You clicked the TV on and laid in bed. You weren’t sure when you drifted off, but you awoke to the door of your room clicking shut, and in a puddle of your own sweat.
“It’s just me,” Aaron spoke into the darkroom. You reached over and blindly turned the lamp on. Aaron was standing at the foot of the bed holding two paper bags in hand. “Sorry to wake you,” he whispered as he cringed. You assumed you looked like a mess as you sat up. You felt like one at least.
“It’s fine. It wasn’t restful anyway,” you sighed as you rubbed your face. It was an obvious lie too. You hadn’t slept that hard since before you started at the BAU. Aaron knew for a fact that you were sleeping pretty hard. The line of drool coming from your mouth, the exhausted look in your eyes, and the indentations in your skin from where the blankets were indicated just how hard you were sleeping.
“How are you feeling?” Aaron asked as he placed the bags on the table. You watched as he pulled out a bottle of orange juice, a box of popsicles, and a bowl of soup.
“Like I ran headfirst into a brick wall then hit by a semi-truck.” You spoke truthfully. Aaron raised an eyebrow as he walked over to you with the soup in one hand and the orange juice in another. “It’s probably a good thing I didn’t stay at the station with you.”
“Well there was a reason why I sent you back here,” Aaron laughed as he placed the two items on the nightstand beside you. “I also got you NyQuil and Ibuprofen. And, I can get you ice from the machine down the hall,” he continued as he sat beside you on the bed.
“You’re the best,” you whispered as you picked up the soup. “How’s the case going?”
“It’s going. There’s been another victim,” Aaron honestly answered. You frowned as you looked away from the soup and up at him.
“I wish there was something I could do to help.” And it was true. But there was a little bit of a lie in your words. You’d much rather stay in the hotel room wrapped up in blankets watching movies on your phone.
“You’re helping by staying here and getting rest. We don’t want Reid overreacting to you being with the rest of us,” Aaron laughed as he looked at you. You laughed and nodded.
“You’re right, you’re right,” you sighed and sat back in the bed, “You should get rest too. You’ll have an early morning….”
“Now… I’m the one who’s taking care of you,” Aaron scolded. You stared at him before blinking slowly. “I’m at least going to shower first. You better be asleep by the time I get out.”
“Can do, Sir… But only if you give me that bottle of NyQuil first.”
Three
“Get down!” You shouted as you looked at the victim. The little girl looked over at you with terror in her eyes. You looked at the little girl, then up at the unsub. “Let the girl go, and maybe we can talk about a deal,” You spoke softly as you lowered your gun. Your partner in crime and in life, Aaron, appeared by your side, his weapon still in hand.
“Get out of here,” the unsub muttered as he shoved the little girl towards you and Aaron. The little girl went right to Aaron’s arms, causing you to look over at him.
“Take her, I got this,” You whispered as you nodded to the girl. Aaron wanted to argue, but he knew it was useless. Aaron glanced at you one last time before lifting the girl up and leaving.
“Look, I’m putting my weapon away,” You looked back at the unsub as you holstered your gun. The unsub looked at you for a moment before tricking you. The way the unsub moved made you think he was going one way, when in reality he went the other.
Before you knew it, the unsub threw a fist at your face before shoving you up against the wall. If you weren’t sitting on the ground, you would have chased after him. But you were too busy recollecting yourself to bother. It was a shock and everything happened so quickly. So it was a relief when you heard Aaron’s booming voice renter the room.
“Stay down!” Aaron yelled as he looked down at the unsub. You sat against the wall, your hand over your eye where the unsub punched you. Aaron was quick as he put cuffs on the already down unsub. The way Aaron glanced over at you worried you a little bit. You could tell there was a tiny bit of worry in his eye. You two would have to wait till other members of the team showed up before anything would happen.
“I’m fine, Aaron,” you mumbled as you stumbled to your feet. Aaron glanced down at the unsub before going to you to help you to your feet. “I said I was fine,” you whisper once you were standing behind him.
“You go outside, and get yourself some help. I’ll be right behind you with him,” Aaron’s grip on your arm was tight as you stood. You glanced at Aaron with a raised brow.
“I’m fine, Aaron,”
“Just listen to me,” Aaron insisted as he guided you towards the door. You looked at Aaron and the unsub one last time before going outside.
The rest of the team was by your side, bringing you to an ambulance.
“Where’s Hotch,” Emily asked as one of the EMTs helped you. You graciously took the ice pack from the EMT and held it to your face.
“He said he’d be right behind me. Is the little girl okay?” You asked as you worried more about the little girl, rather than yourself. Emily gestured over to where the little girl was reunited with her family. A wave of relief washed over you once you saw the family back together.
Aaron was quick to your side when he was outside. You didn’t want to question why he took so long inside with the unsub. You were just happy he was back beside you.
“Bastard packed quite the punch,” you nervously chuckled as you looked to the ground. Aaron leaned against the ambulance rig before looking over at you.
“Next time I’m staying with the unsub,” Aaron muttered as he rested a hand on your shoulder. You looked up at him as you dropped your hand and ice pack from your face.
“You know, Aaron,” you started but let your words trail off with a chuckle.
“Are you going to finish that thought?” Aaron asked as he raised an eyebrow at you. You laughed again and shook your head.
“It’s no big deal that I got punched by an unsub. It wasn’t the first, and it most certainly won’t be the last time it’s happened,” You spoke softly as you tried to reassure your partner. Aaron breathed out a laugh and nodded.
Four
The unsub was cornered. Stuck between you, Aaron, and a brick wall with no way over it. You and the team had profiled everything about this guy perfectly. Or so you and Aaron had thought. You hoped there was an easy way for this to end. But you ended up being wrong when he raised his weapon in your direction. Aaron was doing everything he could to talk the unsub of the edge, to get him to lower his weapon. But it all ended up being for nothing.
For a brief moment, you weren’t entirely sure what had happened. All you knew was there was a loud bang, followed by a second bang, followed by you fell back to the ground. The wind was knocked right from your lungs, and breathing seemed to be a chore instead of a freewill thing. A sudden pain was in your chest, and sitting up was the furthest thing from your mind.
“Are you alright?” Aaron looked down at you with wide eyes.
“Am I dead?” You asked once you were able to take a deep breath. It was still a struggle for you. Aaron offered you a hand to help you sit up. You looked up at him before looking down at the bulletproof, kevlar vest. A bullet was lodged in the vest, saving your life.
“No, you aren’t.” Aaron helped you take the vest off. You sat back against the wall, the pain in your chest only growing.
“Are you sure?” You asked again, looking at Aaron with a small, but nervous, smile. Aaron returned the look with a raised brow, silently telling you now was no time for joking.
“You’ll have a bruise on your chest, but you should be fine. I would still get it checked out, just in case.” He added before helping you to your feet.
“Is he dead?” You looked down at the ground, your eyes instantly going to the cold body of your unsub. Aaron looked over at you with a crease in his brow and a solemn look in his eye.
“I couldn’t take any chances that he’d try to kill you. He’d already shot at you once.” Aaron explained once you had realized he’d killed the unsub. You understood why he did it, though. And frankly, you’d do the same if your places were swapped, you thought.
“Are the rest of the team and the police on their way?” You asked, already assuming the answer.
“Called them when you were down. Should be here at any minute.”
Five
“Are you alright?” Aaron asked as he looked over at you. The expression that he wore on his face was… exhausted and sad. You were sure you had the same expression, more on the sadder side. This last case was… a rough one to say the least. You tried not to think about the details of it, but all you could think about was Jack, and your nieces and nephews, and their safety. But it was hard when that was the only thing that occupied your mind on the ride home.
“No,” You muttered as you looked over at him. It was hard for you to hide the tears in your eyes. “I just wish there was more we could do,” You sighed deeply before bringing a hand to your face.
“We did everything we could do. You know that,” Aaron whispered as he looked over at you. You glanced at him, noting that he was still looking at you. “It’s always hard to know how things like this play out.” He added as he reached out to hold your hand. The grip he had on your hand was firm, tight enough to let you know he was there.
“No, no I know… It just… Sucks… I couldn’t even imagine being in the position as those parents.” You shivered with your words. Aaron glanced at you. You wiped your cheeks and shook your head. “Sometimes I wonder why I’m still even in this occupation. You ever wonder that?” You asked as you looked up at him. Aaron’s jaw steeled as he kept his eyes on the road. “Because, like… To me… I don’t know… With all the shit we see… Sometimes I’d rather just stay home with Jack,” You concluded with another sigh. That time Aaron looked over at you with a certain sadness in his eyes.
“I understand.” Aaron nodded. You weren’t sure about his tone. Though there was some honesty, at the same time you picked some uncertainty. You knew how long he’d been in the BAU, and you knew it’d be an even longer time before he left. He’s seen some shit. And, well, been through a lot of it as well. He’d fallen victim to a number of unsubs and lost more than one thing.
“You’re bad at this.” You stared at him as you pressed your head into the headrest. Aaron had a sad smile grow across his lips before glancing at you.
“I’m just a sounding board.”
“But… But you’re also my boss… And my partner… You should be more than a sounding board, Aaron.” You pointed out as you sat up a bit. “I might take some time off. This case really… It’s really affecting me in a bad way.”
“I’m sure Jack would love that. And Jessica,” Aaron laughed sadly as he glanced at you. “I’m always here for you. You know that. And if you feel like you have to take some time off, then I’ll be by your side then too.” He glanced over at you. You swallowed roughly before nodding.
“I’ll have to tell my boss when we get back to the office,” you laughed lightly. Aaron returned the laughter and shook his head.
“Don’t worry. He already knows.”
Plus One
When Aaron had gotten home from the hospital, you made it a point to take as much time as needed off so you could help him. Part of you thought everyone just assumed you were the one to go to Aaron’s apartment to help him. Of course, it was a fair assumption.
It was a rough scene when you arrived at Aaron’s apartment. It was a mess, but you partly expected that. It was more of a cluttered mess, with Jack’s toys and Aaron’s files strewn around the place. Maybe you’d help the pair out by cleaning up a little bit for them, too.
Jack was with his Aunt Jessica for the time being. He didn’t need to be exposed to the injuries and pain his father was going through. It wasn’t fair to the young boy. Jack had already gone through so much… What, with losing his mother, and nearly losing his father?
You quietly brought your go bag and backpack up the stairs and towards Aaron’s room. This wouldn’t be the first time you’ve spent the night at his house, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. Although this time was different.
“What are you doing here?” Aaron asked as you entered his bedroom. You looked down at him with confusion and mild anger on your face.
“You… You had no one to take care of you,” You whispered as you looked at him. Aaron’s features softened slightly, but you could still see his own confusion and annoyance on his face. “What? With Jessica taking care of Jack, and the team off doing… team-y things… I figured I’d help,” you shrugged as you dropped your bags to the foot of Aaron’s bed.
“I don’t need anyone taking care of me. I can do it myself,” Aaron stubbornly refused your offer. Although it wasn’t an offer. You were determined to help him whether he wanted it or not.
“Don’t be silly, Aaron,” You crossed your arms over your chest as you stared at Aaron, “I’ll take care of you." You looked down at Aaron as he readjusted his position. You grimaced as Aaron winced from pain. You were quick to his side, trying to help. But it was clear Aaron didn’t want it. You’d be lying if you said his refusal hurt your heart.
“It’s rotten work,” Aaron said once he was finally in a comfortable position. You looked down at him, feeling your face fall slightly from a sudden sadness.
“Not to me… Not if it’s you,” You whispered softly before taking Aaron’s hand into yours. Aaron looked up at you, a certain pain in his eyes. You didn’t question it as you looked at him. “Please, Aaron… Let me help you… The team doesn’t need me right now. But you do,” You kept your voice low as you worried it’d crack.
Aaron looked back up at you, watching as tears fell from your eyes.
“I won’t be easy on you,” Aaron looked at you as he spoke. You smiled softly before nodding.
“That’s okay. I’ll help you. That’s why I’m here,” You nodded before you brought his hand to your lips. Your lips rested right on the back of Aaron’s hand as you stared at him. “Think of it as payback for all those times you’ve helped me. It’s only fair.”
{***}{***}{***}
Of course, you went into this thinking it’d be easy. You thought that Aaron would help you help him. The first day was easy. But the following days were rougher. You weren’t expecting Aaron to argue with you. It was a fight to try and convince him he needed help.
Like today, Aaron had to go to the bathroom. And when you went to help him, he fought. You loved him, that was why you were helping him. But he was beginning to test your limits.
“Please stop fighting me on this, Aaron. I know you know what’s best for you, and you know yourself better than I know you… But you have to take your medicine and get rest,” your voice wavered as you looked down at the man. Aaron looked up at you, a scowl on his face and a stone-cold glare in his eyes.
“I don’t need or want your help,” Aaron hissed as he pulled his arm from you. You stared at him, watching him wince as he adjusted the blanket over his legs.
“If that was the case then you would’ve pissed the bed,” you scoffed as you stared at him as you folded your arms across your chest. Aaron looked up at you, the hardness on his face softening a little bit. “I’ll be in the living room if you need me. But you made it very clear that you don’t.” You returned the glare before leaving his bedroom.
You quietly left the room, resigning to the living room where you had bedding set up on the couch. All of the belongings you had brought over were strewn across the coffee table. Various case files sat open, highlighters and pens sitting on them. They were files you were helping Aaron with so he wouldn’t fall behind workwise.
With a deep sigh, you sat on the couch, pulling a blanket around your body before you picked up a file. You worked in silence, but you were on high alert waiting for a call of help. But Aaron was stubborn, you knew there’d be no call.
You wished you could just help Aaron without the fight. It was exhausting for both you and Aaron. The days the team had off, a few of them would visit and help out with what they could. But Aaron still refused anyone’s help. You could tell that it was even frustrating for the team. And they could tell it was frustrating for you when you faked a smile as you exited Aaron’s room. You had nothing better to do than refuse their help when they offered.
You couldn’t help but let out deep, frustrated sighs as you continued to read over files. Some things didn’t make much sense, so when you needed help in that area, you would give a call to Emily or Penelope for the help. Thankfully they were able to quickly lend a hand.
Time was quick as it ticked by. You weren’t even sure what time you had started, but you knew it was late. Sleep would never find its way to you though. No you were too busy staying away, waiting for Aaron’s calls of help.
“You’re still working?” Aaron asked from behind you. That was when you finally looked up at the clock and saw that it was 3:30 in the morning. It was probably a good thing that Aaron came out at the time he did. You needed a long break, and some sleep.
You looked away from the file and over at Aaron. He stood a few feet away from the couch, his robe hanging off his frame as he stood. That reminded you that you really needed to change out of your day clothes and into your pajamas.
“Well when you’re the one who constantly works and you’re out sick… I’m the next best person since I know everything you do. So I figured…” You shrugged looking back down at the file on your lap and highlighter in hand. “And you wouldn’t let me help you.”
“That’s how you’re helping?” Aaron asked as he stepped around the couch to sit beside you. You looked up at him, watching him press a hand over his injuries.
“How else am I supposed to help?” you scoffed, looking over at Aaron again, “I mean, you know what’s best for you, Aaron. I’m just trying to help and follow what the doctors told you to do. You’re just too…” You let your words trail off, not finishing your thought. It wasn’t mean, you thought. But you didn’t want to take that chance.
“I…” Aaron started but failed when you cut him off.
“You almost died… Twice… All I want to do is help you. That’s all anyone wants to do, is help you.” Your voice broke off at the end. You had given up the fight. There was nothing left in you to keep going. So, you looked away from Aaron and tried to ignore the tears rolling down your cheeks.
Aaron silently reached out to hold your hand. You looked at him, your eyes wide as you stared.
“I’ve just never had help with…” Aaron’s words trailed off. You blinked slowly as you turned to face him more. You watched as he struggled to stand, and you could tell that he was trying to hide the real pain he was actually in.
“Come on.” He gently pulled your hand as he stood. You looked at him, your eyes wide and dewy. “The way you can help me is to lie in bed with me. You can keep working, or you can just lie beside me. That’s how you can help.”
“Aaron...”
“I don’t care what you have to say. You’re coming with me.” Aaron looked down at you with a furrowed brow. There was a certain softness to his features.
“Fine,” You whispered as you begrudgingly stood to your feet. Aaron looked over at you before taking the lead back into the bedroom. You were both quiet as you slipped into the bed.
“Will you rest now?” You looked over at him as he laid beside you. You were too focused on being annoyed and wanting to help him that you didn’t even realize he had fallen asleep. You didn’t know when, but he had also had an arm thrown over your body. Usually the roles were reversed. And you realized just how much you actually loved Aaron, even though he’s stubborn and hard-headed.

Hotch was right, Tiffany's mom did get a video. She didn’t watch it which is a good thing, and she did hang it over for your team to analyze it. You, of course, aren’t going to watch it. You’re suffering from enough pain as it is. As soon as the video is sent to Garcia, you step off to the side to call her.
“Are you okay?” you ask when you have her on the line.
“Am I okay? Let me see. I've got images of a girl being tortured burned inside my brain over the strains of this once-carefree choice of music. I've isolated four sources from one track, and each one is more distorted than the next, so no, I am not okay, and it's gonna take awhile.”
“Penelope, you know we appreciate you doing this. I know how hard it is.”
“Thank you, sugar. For right now, even that doesn't feel good. Are you doing okay?”
“I’m getting memories from my past that I thought were gone. It’s just reminding me how evil the world is. All the more reason to try and help those that are suffering now.”
“Yeah, I totally get it. Moving on, though. Some of these victims were abducted while driving. It does leave a nice trail, especially when all the parts lead you to Trevor's Used Auto in Georgia. Sales were traced to Joey Davin.”
“No wonder Jacksonville PD couldn't find the vehicles. I thought they hid them in a sea of vehicles. The unsubs didn't drive the cars. Turns out they destroyed them and sold the parts.”
“Yeah, and over state lines. These sickos are good.”
“Thank you so much. Just send over everything to the group.” You hang up and head back to your team. “The parts were found in Georgia. Sales were traced to a Joey Davin, who lives right here in Jacksonville.”
The team looks over the files that Penelope sent over.
“Joseph P. Davin, twenty-seven. In and out of jail since he was seventeen. Number of charges, including car theft with a partner,” Gideon reads.
“Maybe he likes to team up. Either way, he hasn't learned his lesson. Doesn't sound too smart to me,” Derek shrugs.
“Exactly why he needs a good leader.”
“I’ll come with you,” you say quickly and get up.
Spencer touches your shoulder in support as you pass by him, but you’re only thinking of getting the hell out of this police station. You follow Gideon and Derek out of the station and into a police car where it takes you to Joseph Davin’s address. It’s a house in the middle of fucking nowhere, and you don’t have a good vibe as soon as you step out of the car. There is a seriously messed-up person or two inside. This isn’t going to end well.
You head to the front door and knock on it. Seconds later, the door opens and Henry Davin, Joey’s father who is in a wheelchair is behind the screen door. You, Gideon, and Derek take out your badges and flash them to him.
“FBI.”
“What can I do for you?”
“We're looking for Joseph Davin.”
“What did Joey do now?” Henry groans.
Henry lets you in and you study your surroundings. This little house isn’t much, but it’s filled with secrets, deceit, and manipulation. Henry may look innocent on the outside, but there is something about him that isn’t sitting right with you.
“Sir, we really need to talk to Joey,” Derek says.
A younger man, presumed to be Joey, steps into the living room from one of the back rooms. There is something wrong with him. He’s panicking on the inside, and there is something bad in his hands. You can’t see it yet, but you know it.
“Are you Joseph Davin?” you ask.
Joey takes out a gun from behind his back, and you, your two teammates, and detective Portillo draw your own guns.
“Get out of my way,” Joey says, his voice shaking.
“Joey don’t be stupid!” Henry yells.
“I saw it on TV. Three strikes and I'm out. I'm not going back. I'm not going down for this.”
“Put the weapon down. Put it down now!” Derek yells.
At this point, everyone in the room is screaming at each other. Derek, Gideon, and Portillo are screaming at Joey to put the gun down, Henry is screaming at his son to listen to them, Joey is screaming at everyone to get out of his way, and you’re just silent. This is too much for you to handle right now, and thankfully, you don’t have to handle it for long. Joey raises his gun to shoot at the FBI, but Detective Portillo fires first. He shoots Joey in the chest three times, sending the young man through the glass back door and onto the ground.
“Joey!!” Henry yells for his dead son.
Derek and the detective approach joey to see if he is alive, but it’s clear he isn’t.
“Why didn't he put down the gun?” Detective Portillo asks.
“He didn’t want that third strike,” you answer from still inside the house.
“I didn't have a choice.”
“And he was our closest link to finding Tiffany Spears,” you sigh.
Gideon calls an ambulance, and while you wait for them to arrive, you have to get more information from Mr. Davin in hopes he can give you a clue about where Tiffany might be. You pray for her safe return and that she isn’t in any pain. Derek and Portillo search the house for anything in the meantime.
“Can’t this wait?”
“Mr. Davin, there have been seven women raped and murdered in the Jacksonville area. We can tie Joey to three of them,” you say angrily.
“I thought by forcing him to move back in here, it would keep him out of trouble.”
“How long had your son been living here?” Gideon wonders.
“Two years after the MS put me in a chair,” Henry gestures to his wheelchair.
“Was he still running with his boys from prison?”
“He works at a garage with a bunch of ex-cons. I tried so hard. I just couldn't get him out of that world. I kept telling him, ‘you're better than all this’,” Henry sighs.
Portillo comes from Joey’s bedroom holding an evidence bag with a lock of blonde hair.
“Agent Gideon, we just found this.”
“Does your son have a friend or girlfriend with long, blonde hair?” you ask.
“Not that I know of, no.”
“Is it possible that you wouldn't know if you did?”
“After today... nothing would surprise me,” Henry sighs.
You and your team head outside to talk privately about this situation. While there isn’t a lot of information in the house, Joey did give off something that’s vitally important.
“The dominant one wouldn't have panicked like that,” you state. “He would have come at us shooting and gone down in a blaze of glory.”
“So where's the other half of this partnership?” Portillo asks.
“Witnesses saw a white minivan, correct?”
“That one's Henry's. It's got handicapped plates.”
“Do you see any signs in Henry's behavior that he could be part of this?” Gideon wonders.
“No.”
“But if Joey drives the van, then he can drive while his partner snatches the girls.”
“Have your men process the van,” Gideon says to the detective. “If there's anything in there that doesn't belong to Joe or Henry Davin, I wanna know about it.”
“So, how does Joe meet his partner?” Derek asks.
“Well, his father said he hangs with a bunch of ex-cons at the garage. Maybe we can get something there.”
“It's in Springfield. I'll have Hotch check it out,” Derek offers and takes out his phone.
“If he's still hanging with ex-cons, he probably talks to his old cellmate. Find out who that is,” Gideon orders you.
“You got it,” you say thankfully.
You take out your phone and step off to the side to call Penelope. All you want is to go home and lay in bed. Maybe if you take the weekend off when you get back, you’ll be better prepared to handle your grief and trauma than right now. It’s not looking too good for you right now because you know more hidden memories are coming your way.
“This better be hella good,” Penelope answers the phone.
“Trust me, I wouldn't be calling unless we needed you.”
“Wow, tell me how you really feel.”
“I’m sorry. I’m going through something right now, and I just need this case to be over with. I need to know who Joseph Davin shared a cell with.”
“Sure. It was a guy... named... Tony Canardo. They were in prison together for eighteen months, and both were released three years ago.”
“Before the killings started. Is that it?”
“His current address is 865 Kentwood in Jacksonville.”
“That’s it?”
“Yeah.”
“Thank you, Penelope. Keep up the good work.” You hang up without hearing her response and head back over to your group. “I got an address. Joey shared a cell with a man named Tony. They both got released at the same time three years ago. I have his home address.”
You don’t waste any time heading over to Tony’s house. Just from the look of it, you know it’s nothing fancy. Why would it for an ex-con? The outside of the house is dirty and messy, but you ignore that part of the house. The one thing that worries you is the angry energy radiating off the house. It’s not the energy that worries you, it’s the color of it. Instead of the angry red you expect it to be, it’s more blue. There are red tints to the blue which can only mean that the angriest person of the house is a woman.
You head for the front door and knock, and just like that, a woman answers. You look down and see a ring on her left hand and give her a tight smile. There is something off about this blonde woman. You don’t know what it is just yet, but you know it’s nothing good.
“Who are you guys?” she asks, kind of scared and nervous you’re here.
“Mrs. Canardo, may we come in?” you ask politely.
“Please, call me Amber,” she says and opens the screen door to let you four inside her home.
If you thought the outside was bad, the inside is much worse. There is rust, dirt, and grime almost everywhere inside. Not to mention the sea of alcohol bottles just lying about.
“Is everything okay?” Derek wonders.
“You tell me.”
She tugs at her sleeves to cover her hands, acting as if she is nervous because of something Tony did to her. Why do you get the feeling that she is faking this? That she is much more than what she gives off?
“We're looking for your husband.”
“He’s not home.”
“Well, he spent time in prison with a man named Joseph Davin. Do you know him?”
“Yeah, I know Joey.”
“Joey’s dead,” you blurt, studying her reaction closely.
She seems shocked a bit but not surprised. She wants to react but she is careful with how she does. She is a lot more in control of her emotions than Joey was. Though, that tells you she is trying to hide something. What, you’re not sure of. Maybe she knows what Tony and Joey have been doing. Maybe she is part of it. Why would a woman watch another woman get raped and murdered? Something doesn’t add up.
“Oh, my God. What happened?”
“He pulled a gun when we were trying to question him,” Portillo answers.
“About what?”
She’s fishing for information.
“Did you know Joey well?” you butt in before someone else could answer.
Gideon and Derek look at you, but they let you take over because they know you know something they don’t.
“He and my husband did time together. When Tony got out on good behavior, he... tried to turn his life around and stay clean.” You take one sweep of the room before you and stare at all of the alcohol bottles everywhere. “Okay, some of those are mine.”
“Did Tony ever get into trouble or do anything that scares you when he drinks?”
“Only when he's around Joey. When those two get together, I'm afraid of what could happen.”
“Do you know where we can find Tony?”
“He’s getting off work. He should be home soon.”
“Is there anyplace you can go? Because we're gonna need to talk to him,” Derek says.
“I can call my friend Kim.”
Amber steps into another room to call her friend, and you turn to your team worriedly.
“She’s very closed off and reacting carefully to what we’re saying. There is blue energy all over this house. Now, that doesn’t mean much to you, but to me it means everything. There is not one speck of angry male energy here. If Tony is the dominant, this house would be seething with it. It’s not. It’s coming from her,” you whisper.
“Can you wait here for Tony?” Gideon asks Derek after thinking about what you said.
“Yeah.”
“Come on, let’s go back to the station.”
You follow Gideon and Portillo out the door, but pause when you arrive at the arch.
“Be careful, Derek.”
“I will.”

“Hey Y/N.”
You looked up from your paperwork to find Hotch staring down at you.
“Hotch... what is it?”
“My office?”
You nodded and watched as he walked away. You turned back to your desk and closed the files, then casually went to Hotch’s office, ignoring looks from Reid and Morgan.
“I swear, if this is about that case-“ You started, closing the door.
“You know it is.”
You sighed. “I’m fine, Hotch. I was hurt a bit and shaken up after. Nothing I haven’t seen or been through before.”
“You did not get hurt just a bit, and you were much more than shaken up. You know that.” His tone was a bit more condescending.
“Hey, don’t pull that stunt. “ you snapped. “It happens to the best of us.” The look on your face gave off different vibes than your tone. You watched Hotch as he sat at the edge of his desk after closing the shades for more privacy.
Within the first month after returning from the incident, you told him that he didn’t have to worry about you, that you were fine, even though there was a growing pit in your stomach ever since your near experience with death. There were certain things that only Hotch was able to pick up on about you, such as your lack of nutrition, only consuming water, tea, and multivitamins even when he would bring you your favorite takeout during the late nights. He also picked up on how little you spoke during briefings, and how much time you spent curled up in a plane seat looking out the window, knowing that you would usually be dominating a card game with everyone else, or spending time just talking to Hotch before taking a quick nap before landing. He wanted to reach out, wanted to know if you were okay, but sometimes it was hard.
You started working with Hotch 5 years ago, creeping up on 6, and since then, even though you were considered to be young, you became an SSA and his “top agent” in private. You were always spending more time with him at the BAU and most of the time, you ended up questioning people, examining a crime scene, or following a potential unsub’s whereabouts with him. Besides all of that, you two always had really deep conversations about anything and everything, and called each other “love” here and there. So yeah, you and Hotch had a special, platonic relationship, and you were not at all mad at it.
“Talk to me love. What are you thinking about?” Hotch asked, knowing that you had things on your mind. He sure was a profiler, all right.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. You spilled your guts about the case and how you felt after taking a bullet to your upper right abdomen and watching someone get shot in front of you and having their blood spewed all over you. Hotch listened intently, studying you as you paced around his office, making occasional eye contact with him. You then made a turn and winced.
“You okay?” He whispered. He then looked down to where your hands were clutching. “Come, lemme look at it.” Walking over to Hotch, you pulled up your sweater and revealed the remains of the bullet wounds. You watched him as he gently touched it, knowing that it still stung a bit.
Everything slowed down from the time that the unsub got shot to when you felt something pierce inside you, making you fall to the ground. You didn’t know what was going on. So many voices yelling, many of your surroundings disappearing. You lifted your head ever so slightly to find blood gushing out of you, and tears started flowing. All of a sudden, a person was towering over you.
“Y/N!” they hollered. You were unable to speak. They moved closer to you, examining your face.
Hotch.
He looked at you with sorrow in his eyes, his hand caressing your cheek, wiping off some tears.
“Don’t cry, okay? Everything will be alright. I’m here.”
You nodded ever so slightly, your head throbbing.
“Love, please answer me back.”
“Hotch... put pressure...” you sniffled, struggling to get that out. Thankfully he understood, and placed his hands on the wound so you wouldn’t continue to lose blood.
“The paramedics are on their way. I’ll be there with you at the hospital, okay? Every step of the way.”
“Y/N, you know you gotta keep it covered. It’s still healing.”
You frowned. “I was in a rush today, I forgot.”
“It’s okay.”
The two of you made eye contact and held it for a bit. “Hotch, why’d you call me in here? Did you want to question my abilities as field agent after my incident? It’s been five months, damn it. I’m perfectly fine.” You faltered at the end. When you started to walk away from Hotch, given how close you two were standing, he took your hand which made you turn back around. Out of nowhere, you admired how soft his hands were and how his veins looked. You impulsively rubbed your thumb over his veins as well. “That is not at all why I called you in here.”
You realized what was going on and that was when everything rushed back to you. Why he was always treating you to takeout, why he always asked if you were okay, why he exchanged looks with you that the rest of the team could never figure out, why he had a panic attack when you got shot, why he called you love.
“Hotch...” you whispered.
“Remember when we kissed that one night 2 years ago in the bullpen at your desk? It was super random, and we vowed to never do that again?”
“Heh, yeah.” you nodded, ducking your head to hide your smile. It was the best kiss of your life, to be completely honest.
“What’s wrong, Y/N?”
You looked up from your case file to look at Hotch. “Nothing, just thinking about myself being here at the BAU.”
“Are you having doubts?”
“Sometimes, I come in with a huge smile on my face, eager to help these people in any way that I can, eager to profile these bad guys to know what’s going on in their minds, why they do what they do, so I can get justice for their victims. But sometimes, I just can’t do it. I can’t do it, Hotch. I think I’m not good enough, I think that I’m too vulnerable out in the field. Some of these cases hit too close to home. When I sit here at my desk sometimes or when I’m trying to nap on the plane before landing, I wonder if I’m even fit for this job.” you whispered.
“It’s okay to have these thoughts, sometimes I have them myself.” Hotch paused. I want you to know that you belong here. I wanted you on my team ever since the first day I met you for training. You’re an amazing profiler as well as field agent, and you play such a major role here as an SSA. Don’t ever forget that.”
“Wow, after all this time, I never thought my unit chief would complement me like that, let alone be so sweet.” you smiled, cocking your head to the side.
“What is this about?”
“Please Hotch, nothing at all. Thank you so much. Seriously. It means a lot.”
“Of course. I care a lot about you, Y/N.”
“That’s why you took me under your wing, mentoring me. You’re honestly the reason why I am who I am.”
There was a bit of silence between the two of you. Hotch then reached over and caressed your cheek. Moving closer to you, he kissed you softly. “I’m glad that I was able to be there for you.” he mumbled against your lips after the kiss.
“It lasted for a short amount of time, but when I pulled away, I wanted more of it.” you admitted.
“And so you did.” Hotch whispered, lifting your head up gently. “I couldn’t stop thinking about it, about you. I kinda wish we didn’t make that vow.”
A slight grin was on his face as he looked at you.
“I think this is something we can break.” you whispered. Hotch knew that was his signal, and he did what he did best. Your hand crept up to the nape his neck, and he tucked some of your hair behind your ear and caressed your cheek. Leaning in, he kissed you, exactly the same way he did 2 years ago, just for a longer amount of time.
“Hey, Y/N. Come to my place tonight. I want to show you a good time.”
“I’d like that, Hotch.”

Your family doesn't define you (Emily Prentiss x Fem!Reader)
hiiii guys, soooo I worked on my 2nd blurb and this one is kinda based on a true story, I hope that I put a warning for everything important but if there's anything you want me to mention in the warnings please let me know and I'll add it. I also want you to know that you're not alone, that you're loved and valid and it doesn't matter what your sexuality is. btw I didn't proof read, hope you don't mind.
Warnings: homophobia, mentions of an unsub, slight panic attack
You had a rare day off. Hotch said that all of you deserved the weekend off after the last case. It was a hard one for all of you but particularly hard for you and Emily. The unsub kidnapped, tortured and murdered homosexuell teenagers. After you profiled that he was a male in his 40s who's mother left his father for another woman it was easy for Garcia to find and for you to arrest him. And of course it was you who took him out in the first place. So the moment you took a step into your apartment, you didn't try to hold back the tears anymore. You always struggled with homophobic people, especially males.
Back when you were a teen your mother married her long term best friend and it was going well for a few years until your mom got pregnant again. 12 years after she had you. Well when you were 13 your little brother was born and everything began to go downhill in a rapid speed. Your step father talked less and less to you, showed you less attention, barely acknowledged you. The moment you realized that you weren't straight you came out to most of your family and friends, except him. He always gave you a weird vibe when it came down to someone's sexuality. A few years after, it was proved that he is homophobic. It was on your cousins wedding, when your mom told your brother that maybe he's gonna marry another boy and not a girl, when you heard the "no" that came from your step dad's mouth, filled with absolute disgust and hate. That evening was the time you seriously started to think about moving out, which you did only a few years later. You thought that the day you were accepted for college would be the day you were finally free, but that's only what you thought. Years later, after you graduated and got the job at the BAU you knew you were wrong. The second your mom got yours and Emily's wedding invitation it was over for you. Your step dad flipped. He was furious about how you could even think that him, your mom, your brother and the rest of your family would actually come to your wedding. When you came back home that day, Emily immediately noticed that something was wrong, she didn't push you into telling her but the moment you did, she just wanted to go over to your mom's house, "talking" to your step dad, but she knew that she couldn't leave you and that you didn't want her to do it. So she sat on the couch, with you in her lap, crying your eyes out, gripping her shirt so hard your knuckles turned white. Your tears drenched her shirt but she didn't care, her warm hand had slipped under your own shirt to give you the warmth and safety you needed, rubbing circles on the small of your back.
And right now? You were confronted with the memories of that exact moment again. Emily noticed the change in your posture. Your shoulders hung even lower than before, your eyes focused on the floor, not moving, not stepping further into the apartment. She acted quickly before it could get worse. Walking towards you, so she was right in front of your slightly shaking body, taking your hands into hers, making you look up a little. A small and soft smile on her face. "C'mon baby, let's sit down on the couch", she said while slowly walking towards the furniture she mentioned. Once you both were seated, she pulled you on her lap, just like she always does when she noticed that your bad thoughts were getting the best of you. Emily held you, slowly rocking back and forth, telling you how much she loves you. After a while, she leaned forward, grabbing the remote of the TV, putting your favorite show on. When she leaned back, making herself comfortable she noticed you looking at her with wide eyes. "Thank you", you whispered, not trusting your voice enough to speak louder. "Every time baby. You know that he's never going to hurt someone again and you're the reason why. You were the one who got him, saving hundreds of innocent life's", she said the truth and you knew it but you still couldn't stop the memories of your step dad floating around in your head. "I know... He just reminded me of him. I could've sworn that I saw him the second he looked at me. It was like I was back in the day he snapped at me for sending the invitation", your voice was still barely over a whisper. "And that's okay, it was a day which burned itself into your memory and there are gonna be other days and moments that will trigger that exact feelings but it's over and I'm here. You're here, with me, we both are safe and we're happily married for almost 5 years now and nothing will ever change how I feel for you, okay?" You nodded, looking at her for a moment before pressing a quick kiss on her lips. She was right, you were safe, she was safe, you were together and nothing could ever change that.

my ~unpopular~ cm opinions:
I honestly don’t know which of these are unpopular or not but whatever
people who hate gideon for hurting reid when he left are invalidating gideon’s own trauma. no one should have to deal with other people’s trauma before they deal with their own.
rossi killing gideon’s murderer was just as bad as elle killing that one guy. both of them should have faced greater consequences for their actions. that doesn’t mean I don’t still like them both, but they are ~problematic~
haley wasn’t cheating on hotch, and neither of them was truly at fault for their divorce. it just wasn’t a functional relationship anymore, which is an okay reason to leave someone
the only reason morgan and garcia were solely platonic is because garcia was plus-sized and a little ~odd~. if she had been played by a skinny actress, they would have been endgame, and it’s so annoying that they weren’t
I never really liked maeve or savannah because they both just sort of showed up without any introduction, so I didn’t have any reason to like them except that spencer and derek liked them
will and jj are absolutely perfect together
spencer should have had a crush on derek in the first season instead of jj. it would have given us queer spencer, it wouldn’t have turned into the weird thing they gave us in later seasons, and it honestly would have been more interesting
I don’t really see jemily. maybe that’s just because I love will and jj so much, but at most, I can see emily having unrequited feelings for jj, but even that’s a stretch for me.
hotch and beth were kinda cute, but she wasn’t very interesting and I would have rather seen him interact with the team more
the lauren arc wasn’t very interesting to me except for emily’s backstory
I like spencer, and I don’t know if it’s just that the fandom tends to focus really heavily on him, but I feel like he got way more screen time/personal episodes than the rest of the team
a large part of the reason morgan is underrated is rooted in racism
episodes without any sort of personal b-plot are boring
spencer might technically be the smartest member of the team, but morgan is the best profiler. he uses his empathy to get into the head of an unsub, and he understands people better than anyone else on the team.
seaver was a good character. she really didn’t talk about her dad as much as people say she did, and I thought the dynamic between her and spencer as the youngest members of the team, one of whom has a ton of experience and the other having practically none could have been amazing if she’d been around longer
both blake and callahan were excellent characters. I love them both and their dynamics with the rest of the team (especially blake & spencer and kate & derek)
jj was better as the communications liaison. I think they just wanted aj to have more screen time, but I think she was better when she was interacting with families and the press, and I thought it was an interesting break from the rest of the team.
spencer deserved an actual romance plot, not just the weird 13-season-break with jeid or whatever happened with maeve. also, why just bi spencer? he should have just been straight-up gay.
I don’t get lesbian vibes from emily. bi, maybe, but not lesbian.
garcia and kevin weren’t good together
reid’s entire dilaudid storyline was pointless since they basically never referenced it again. they should have just had him deal with the trauma from being kidnapped instead of adding in a drug addiction
rossi didn’t need to have a daughter, and since he did, it should have been a more drawn-out plot line for him to actually take her in as his daughter
anyway that’s it for now please don’t kill me

Maybe an Aaron Hotchner x reader where she’s just kinda chaotic and just says stuff like “hey hotch, i’m getting more coffee, want some? (he says yes) sucks.” and just walks away and of course the classic “you done messed up a-a-ron”
Getting Hotched
A-a-ron x chaotic! Reader 🤭🤪🥴
PFFFT I'M GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN WRITING THIS
in which you have an immaculate sense of humor
Tumblr media
You may have been the same age as a-a-ron
Hotch
But you acted like you were Spencer's age
"When he gets married does that mean he'll get hotched"
PFFFT 4UH4K3KE
He didn't like that
The rest of the team did though so 🥴
Suck it a-a-ron
Ok so you were kinda
Interesting?
Chaos in human form?
We may never know
Tomato tomahto
Same thing 🤷‍♀️
Look!
An eways!
How cool!!
Ok OK OK so
hotch like
Ya boy
HE HAS A NICE SMILE OK
HE JUST,,, DOESN'T REALLY SHOW IT
ok enough of me having a crush on everyone in the bau
Except Rossi bc he reminds me of my uncle pfft
You were one of the few people that could make him go from
👁👄👁 to :)))
His laugh >>>>> anything else
You were like
Comedian #1 in the team
And they LOVED IT
Whenever they came to your apparent
YOU WOULD STAND UP
Whatever you were drinking in your hand
And tell one of your wack stories
Bc somehow everything that happened to you was funny as hell
Or you made it sound really funny
And hotch usually just went with it
Expect,,, like usually,,,, he'd try to hold it in
BUT
SOMEHOW
AT SOME POINT
you got him to stop holding in his laughs and smiles
Bc you're just that amazing 🥵🤩
Okokokok
So one time
You two were working late
And he had to bring in Jack bc he had no babysitter
You were usually it when he couldn't get one but today was
💥special 💥
So he was hanging out with you two in the office
You,,, being the fucking best™
Had a coloring book in your purse
Ok maybe it wasn't in case someone brought kids
Sometimes you like to color and that's ok bc no one can judge you ya got a stressful job 🤷‍️
So he was sitting down and the three of you were vibing at the round table
Jack was coloring
Hotch was focusing
And you were doing something in between
So you strectched and got up and you're like
"Hey a-a-ron want some coffee?"
*que Jack laughing at the nickname*
"Yes please"
He was trynna hold in a laugh and you KNOW it
"Sucks to be you then"
AND PFFFT
JACK ALMOST FELL OFF OF HIS CHAIR
AND HOTCH WENT 😤😳
Bc
You just
"Embarrassed" Him in front of his son
Pfft you were comedy royalty he should be honored
He really should
Bc you didn't roast him as much
Usually the team would be roasted like rotisserie chickens
But he just got the casual
"You dONE MESSED UP A-A-RON"
and some cute little things like
"You dropped this 🔴 put it back on your nose 🥰🤡😋"
Or
"You put the stop 🧚‍♀️🤩🥰 in showstopping✨🥳🧚‍♀️"
So he didn't get it THAT bad
You roasted morgan the most pffft
"Hey there Rapunzel, how's the Tower?"
But you two were besties none the less :)))
But what you two didn't know
Was that
The heart eyes™ would come up between you two without the other knowing
YOU TWO WERE SO HELPLESSLY IN LOVE ISTG

"Wym bitch I'm single"
And the unsubs like
"WdYm I have them right heRE"
Then it shows you tied to like a chair or something
And YOU'RE LAUGHING
"PFFT HE WISHES"
So the unsub
Dumb bitch
Returns you and legit apologized for the mistake
You weren't even hurt lmfao
He turned himself in LMFAO
He was SO embarrassed 🤭
He was like
"Idk I saw you to all cute and shit so I assumed, I'm so sorry"

Time skip
It's another night that you two were working late
Alone
*wiggles eyebrows*
And you made a kinda suggestive joke
More than your usual
That's what she said
Or laughing at 69
PFFT THERE'S A STREET NAMED 69 STREET WHERE I LIVE AND EVERYTIME I SEE IT I CRY HHFHRUEY
It was like
"What does the sign of a closer brothel say?"
Bc one of the suspect's worked at a brothel
"Beat it, we're closed"
Normally,,, that joke wouldn't be so funny
But it was hella late
SO HE
"PFFFT ok OK OK"
And you look at him
Bc he's laughing the way you laugh before you're about to tell a really funny joke
And he stops and goes
"What's the difference between your bf and a condom?"
"What"
"Uhrbrurh CONDOMS AREN'T THICK AND DENSE"
I'M SORRY I'M IMMATURE UKEBEIEB
*que you guys laughing for 30 minutes straight then deciding you should go home bc you weren't even really working anymore*
And you stop before you part ways
And you're like
"I actually don't have a condom- NO I MEANT BF"
You two sounded HIGH
but he stopped and he looked at you
