My personal headcanon is that Splint is Albert's older sister, but only Splint knew.

Splint left and became a Newsie a little when he was only two, and knew deep down that she recognised the name and bright red hair when she first saw the little kid selling with Jack Kelly on his first day as a Newsie.

Meanwhile, Albert's been under the influence he's been an only child all his life as he has zero recollection of his sister, and their parents certainly won't bring it up.

But despite him never knowing the truth, the two were always extremely close, always having a laugh and goofing off together whenever Manhattan and Brooklyn had to work together.

Albert wasn't entirely sure why, but he couldn't seem to stop crying when he got word of Splints death.

I know there's definitely a lot of competition for it, but I think Raga Bol might actually have the dumbest death in the Redwall series. His great plan that gets him killed is to TAUNT THE FURIOUS BADGER into a BLOODWRATH INDUCED KILLING HAZE, get said badger to charge directly at Raga Bol HIMSELF, while four of his minions hide in the bushes with spears to try and kill Lonna before he gets to him. And of course only one of the minions actually manages to hit the badger, which doesn't slow him down at all, and Lonna uses Bol's dumb body to block all the others. Because of course he fucking does!!!! Bol what were you thinking!!!! You could have at least dug a big hole for the badger to fall in or something, like even boring ass Gabol the Wild managed to do that much!

Eternal Sugar before they fell and became corrupted was no doubt was really energetic and supportive cookie; doing everything they could to bring joy and happiness to cookiekind and the world. They would grant cookies their dreams and comfort them to the best of their abilities, however they didn't allow themselves to be sad or upset as they needed to be a pillar to everyone.

After all, they held the virtue of Happiness. In their mind; they couldn't afford to be sad or even feel a single negative emotion.... No matter what.... Of course, this would be their downfall due to the simple fact they bottled up their emotion and were slowly burning themselves out by being the pillar of support.

At some point, Eternal Sugar started to get burnout with trying to help everyone they could and grew tired until only grew worse with each passing day until one day; they didn't want help a cookie as they simply wanted to sleep, which lead into a huge argument.

An argument that ended in tragedy when Eternal Sugar accidentally ended up using their magic, which resulted in the cookie's death. When they realized their mistake; they felt nothing for the cookie's death.... In fact; there was part of them that felt relief and free...

As such, Eternal Sugar decided that if they weren't allowed to do nothing or sleep, then they would kill any cookies that dare bother them with the only exceptions being the other Beasts as the friendship was the only thing that the fallen angel cared about now.

Exactly! The way Jonathan and Billy mirror eachother is so well done even if unintentional or not. You have one boy who had a bad upbringing but had a sibling to help him cope, a brother to share the abuse and stress of a toxic hostile household who got away from that and had a mother who supported him and stood up for him.

Then you have a boy who watched his parents fight with no one to help him deal with it. Then at the age of 10 he's left alone with an abusive angry father who takes everything out on him. Then finally when he gets a little sister instead of being able to share the load he gets double. Everything she does is his fault and he's responsible for her and her actions. Which isn't Max's fault I have to add. He never gets away from that and has no one to stand up for him.

And then people say Billy should have turned out like Jonathan. I think the fuck not.
