"What are we looking at, cap?" Eddie asked throught the combs. His eyes landed on you. You were sitting in front of him, your seatbelt thigtend against your chest, your hand resting on the mental part so that when you arrived you would be quick to unbuckle it.

"Car accident." Bobby replied, looking at his team throught the rearview mirror. "It's not gonna be pretty."

You took a deep breath as you caught Buck nervously shuffling in his seat. Calls like these almost always meant a heavy outcome.

Eddie brushed his foot against yours, a wordless gesture of asking if your were okay. You nodded, smiling at his concern. "I can't wait when we are finished with this shift." You admitted. "I wanna finally eat."

"Oh, same here y/n." Buck agreed. "I'm starving." Eddie's mouth curled up in a small smile, refusing to keep his eyes of you. He admired your succesfull attempt to make the mood a bit lighter since he knows you aren't keen on heavy silences.

Once you arrived at the scene, you patiently awaited captain's orders. Two cars where smashed into each other as the third laid further down on it's back. Four people where involved with one victim who's injuries were already fatal. The team moved quickly as you were the first to arrive at the scene.

"Eddie, Y/n?" Bobby yelled. "Go look at the car further down and give me an update."

You quickly sprinted over to the upsidedown car, gear in hand and Eddie next to you. A man, about 30, layed unconscious in his car seat. The seatbelt stopping him from completely falling to the ground. You tried your best to examine him in his current situation. But the door had blocked all your access, luckily the man had his window open. You kneeled down so you could feel for a heartbeat. "I got a pulse!" You yelled, feeling the skin under your finger move in a slow pace. "We'll need a neck brace and an IVE. Can you call for extra backup to get him out?"

Eddie nodded, rushing to the truck while updating dispatch and Bobby on the current situation.

Your brain was looking at all the different options to get the man safely out. In your head you had already sawn off the door and got the backup to help you get him back down. But in reality it would be taking a bit longer so you had to find a way to keep him alive until then.

You were deep in thought until Eddie's screams pulled you back out. You looked over at him. He was running towards you but yelling for you to get back. In a split second your brain switched and you were hearing clearly what he was saying. "The motor!" He yelled. "It's gonna explode."

You were still positioned on the ground, you tried crawling back but a hand suddenly grabbed your uniform, stopping you from moving. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." You cried, looking at the passenger who had just woken up. His grip was ferm and before you knew it there was an explosion. Your body flew to the side. A stabbing pain in your side and a pounding headache made it unable for you to get back up.

Oh no. You though, seeing the ground underneath you turn into a puddle of blood.

"Y/n? Y/n!" Eddie cried, falling to his knees, his hands shaking. He tried whiping away the blood from your face, stroking some hair behind your ear before grabbing your cheeks in his hands. "Oh honey. Oh god."

"Eddie?" You breathed weakly, noticing the blood on his clothes. "Are you okay."

The firefighter tried to staunch the blood on your side while panicked breaths left his lips. His eyes were red and full of terror. "Eddie, I'm fine. I promise." You mumbled, not fully processing how bad it was. You weakly grabbed onto the hem of his shirt. The blood on your hands left a red stain the shape of you fingerprints. Oh. It isn't his blood that he was covered in. Your vision started to blurry, breathing started to hurt, your ears were ringing and your head was pounding so hard you were afraid your heart was gonna burst out of your body.

"Just look at me." Eddie assured. As he watched the rest of the team help him out with stopping the blood from leaving your body. You looked down at the nagging pain. A sharp piece of metal was struck right through your side. Looking at it made it worse. The pain was stronger then ever. "Hey look at me. You're alright." Eddie grabbed your hand, squeezing it as hard as he could. He was trembling over his words but you didn't care. All you could think about was him. His eyes. His beautiful eyes being filled with worry. "I'm sorry." You cried. "I'm so sorry." You sobbed, your free hand grabbed his shirt again. You where terrified, completely terrified and all you wanted to do was sink into his arms and never let go. "I'm so tired, Eddie."

"I know baby. I know. But you gotta keep looking at me. Let me see those pretty eyes." You couldn't help the hot tears streaming down your face. Your breathing became more shallow and your eyelids more heavy. It was getting harder to stay awake. You tried. You really tried. Eddie was mumbling to keep you awake but you couldn't hear anything cleary at this point. Hen secured the piece of metal that was crushed into your side. She and the team helped you on a curney while Eddie kept by your side. Your hands still locked into each other.

You felt so weak and in so much pain. You saw the sky moving above you as they rolled you to the ambulance. You vaguely heard your panicked colleges and conversations over dispatch but it was all too foggy to clearly hear what they were saying.

The sky looked pretty that night. The stars seemed to be perfect. But you were tired. And ready to go to sleep.

You were awoken by a soft buzzing sound and some distant chatter that you couldn't make out. Opening your eyes seemed harder then you rememberd. Your eyelids felt heavy. You started flickering them until you were used to the white light that the room illuminated.

Your throat felt afwul and there was still a sharp pain on your side but this time more bearable. Your eyes closed shut a few times again and here and there you drifted back into a deep slumber.

Once you slept off your anesthesia you were able to think again. You opened your eyes and tried to locate were you where. You fell a soft hand touching yours and after you carefully tilted your head, you saw your tired boyfriend sitting next to you. His hair was a mess and his head was resting on your bed. He was snorring a little and you smiled at the peaceful state he looked in. A nurse walked into the room. He greeted you but lowered his voice once he saw Eddie sleeping.

"He has been here quite a while." The nurse admitted while they checked your obs. "How are you feeling?"

You carefully nodded your head. "I'm fine. Could be better though." The nurse smiled sympathetically. Once he was done checking your vitals the doctor wandered in.

She told you they were able to successfully remove the metal and that you should be able to make a full recovery. "You did lost a lot of blood and suffered some head trauma so you'll have to take it very easy, y/n." The doctor warned. "Lot's of rest and taking it very easy. I'll let a chiropractor come and visit you once you're feeling better so they can discuss further treatment with you. For now I'll give you something more for the pain and some ice for your throat. You're very lucky, y/n. This could have taken a very different turn." She said before leaving the room to let you rest.

You took a deep breath. Your hand softly combed through the messy brown hair of the Diaz sleeping next to you. He stirred in his sleep, muttering your name a few times before realizing what was happening.

His head abruptly perked up. "You're awake." He whispered, almost not believing his eyes. He immediately sat up straight, his right hand holding yours.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm alive." You smiled. "But I'm still starving."

Eddie let out a soft laugh, he tried his best to hide the tears that were forming in his eyes.

"You scared me y/n." He admitted. "You really did."

"I know."

Eddie leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to your temple. He brushed some hair away, his fingers following the soft skin of your cheeck. "You're going to be okay." You were afraid and in pain but seeing him here made it for some reason go all away a little. "And once we're home I'm gonna cook you the best meal you ever had." He laughed, trying to see you crack a smile in which he succeeded.

Hello everyone! I wanted to make an official post to share some of my favourite Seventeen x Reader fics that I’ve read lately, or ones that have continued to stay on my mind. I guarantee I’m going to miss a bunch of them because there are so many talented people on this website, but I plan to make another one of these soon!

“You’re so talented, you know that?” Kakyoin played with your hair in between his index and middle finger as you were pressed to his chest, following his sweet and slow breaths.

“St-Stawp, Noriaki.” You knew you were blushing, but luckily, he couldn't see.

“You’re cute when you're flustered.” Kakyoin giggled as you turned around and slammed your bright red face into Kakyoin’s chest. He was such a tease sometimes.

“I'm just playing around.” Kakyoin smiled, rubbing your back. “You look tired, cherry blossom. You should get some sleep.”

You looked up at him with sleepy eyes and cupped his face. His skin was warm compared to your freezing cold hands that made him wince a bit. “You should take me to my room.”

“Why? You said it yourself, this couch is comfortable.”

“I know what I said, I just…” you went to move from the couch, but Kakyoin’s arms were far too comfortable. “What if the other crusaders find us?”

“Who cares?” Kakyoin shrugged and held you closer. And of course he had to be comfortable. You didn't want the rest of the crusaders to find you, but how could you leave Kakyoin when he was this warm?

You woke up to the sound of giggling and shut your eyes tightly. “Kakyoin,” your voice was frail and tired. “Kakyoin stop it.”

You heard Kakyoin groan awake and snuggle up to you and say in his own tired voice, “I'm not doing anything.”

“Stop giggling.” You pushed his face a little.

“I'm not giggling.”

“What?” You opened your eyes to see yourself not only wrapped in Kakyoin’s arms, but Polnareff with a camera pointed at the two of you while the rest of the crusaders were laughing.

You quickly squirmed out of Kakyoin’s arms, sitting up on the couch, while he stayed fast asleep snoring softly.

“Aren't you two adorable?” Joseph asked in a baby voice, cupping his hands together while the other’s burst out laughing. Even Jotaro was giggling. You knew this would happen.

You jumped up and tried to take the camera from Polnareff, but he quickly raised it above his head. And of course you were too short to grab it. But your stand wasn't.

You chuckled and summoned your stand, who was quickly knocked down by Polnareff’s stand. “Nice try, but I'm not letting you get your hands on this absolute gold.” Polnareff wiggled the camera at you before running off.

You turned to the other crusaders and crossed your arms. “Really, guys?!”

They just giggled at you and Joseph stepped up, rubbing the top of your head. “You and Kakyoin are super cute.” His voice was still teasy and you went to say something before you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist and pull you back down to the couch. You turned to Kakyoin and he just smiled, cuddling you in his arms.

Sure, the crusaders could be a pain, but if not for them, you wouldn't have met the love of your life.

So Eddie realised how everyone says that hellfire is a cult and decided to jokingly summon a demon (not thinking it would work) but it does and the demon is reader.

The next day,Eddie would have a demon (which looks human apart from the blatantly obvious horns and tail) follow him around in the halls,intimidating the fuck outta everyone-including hellfire

Masterlist

Eddie was joking. He swears to whatever horrid gods were listening that he really was joking. Claiming he could summon demons was a joke. Buying some weird occult book was a joke. And following some dumb ritual in the middle of the woods was most certainly a joke.

And yet, here you stood. Tall, strangely strong looking, and intimidating as all hell.

Hearing the thoughts in his head (of varying quality), you chuckled. “Thank you.”

“You can hear that shit?!” He asked, pumping his fists and hopping around. “A fuckin’ demon! A whole ass demon!” He nearly tripped over a branch, managing to catch himself before laughing hysterically.

Usually, humans were… calmer. There was usually more bowing, maybe some crying and worshiping. This one, however, couldn’t be more excited.

He whipped around suddenly, messy hair following. It was dusk by now, though the forest’s clearing made way for the pinkish sky.

“Do I get a wish or something? Trade my soul for fame and talent?” He excitedly questioned.

You tilted your head. He really didn’t know who you were.

“My name is Y/n. Usually, I am only summoned by humans with more… expertise. If you wanted something small like ‘fame’, summon a lesser demon.” You snarled, slightly upset your time was wasted. He was cute, sure, but that didn’t mean you’d drop everything for a single summoning.

“So what do I ask you for then?!” He yelled, arms out.

You sighed, shaking your head. “Whatever it is you need. In exchange, I take you.”

“What, like, you take me to hell? Like a ‘tortured soul’ or something?” He waved his hands, attempting to make his voice quiver. “Pretty sure I was doing that anyway, man.”

You raised a brow. “No. I take you. As in you become mine. Usually as a spouse, though none stay after they die.”

The way he froze nearly made you laugh. It was a bit unexpected, truthfully. Humans were usually boring. Too much fear coursing through them for anything other than small talk. But this man, he stared you in the eyes.

Granted, it seemed there was a bit of lingering fear, but you mostly sensed excitement.

“Let me double check here, hot demon gives me whatever I want in exchange for dating me?” His eyes were so wide they looked like saucers, as if you’d told him the most confusing information possible.

“If that is how you’d like to word it.”

And that is exactly how Eddie Munson, Hawkin’s resident freak, ended up with a demon trailing behind him to school.

You hid your horns and tail from other humans, though demons always kept an intimidating aura. Usually it stopped any human from looking you in the eye, too terrified to approach. It didn’t stop Eddie though.

He’d paraded you around for a week or two now. He’d managed to convince you to attend Hawkins with him today, scaring the student body even more than they already were.

Currently, not only did he have demon protection on his side, but he was cruising with a B in every class (yes, most of it was you helping him, but he needed less help than he thought he did). He insisted A’s would be too suspicious.

“I mean, if they thought I was a freak before, wait ‘til they see me with you,” He laughed, leading you into the school. Most students backed away from you on sight. Though you were unphased, Eddie seemed to enjoy watching a few jocks turning away in fear.

“Hell yes,” He near squealed, leading you to the drama room.

“Oh yeah, I forgot to ask,” He mumbled, slowing down his walking speed a bit. “D’you know what DnD is?”

You opened your mouth to say that no, you didn’t know what it was, when you were interrupted.

“Recruiting another freak?”

A voice from behind you spoke, drawing both of your attention. A blonde man stood with his arms crossed, two equally boring looking men on either side. Each sported a letterman jacket, the same boring green all the jocks wore. Eddie’s thoughts echoed through your mind.

Jason, total asshole. The other guys are his friends.

That was really all you needed to know.

No, you didn’t get attached to humans very often. But everyone has their faults, right? Eddie even wanted to stay after he died, that was more than you could say for any of the others.

“What, nothing to say? You’re all usually all talk in the lunchroom,” Jason muttered, scoffing at Eddie.

Speaking of, the man had tensed next to you. He pulled off a smirk, making his body language as calm as he could, though you could still hear his thoughts. They were racing, trying to find the way that left him the least beat up.

You, on the other hand, had no such intentions. Who cared about the quickest way out? You could kill them in less than a second. Though Eddie wasn’t a fan of murder, so you refrained.

For now.

“It’d be easier if you left,” You warned. They couldn’t say you never did anything for them.

Jason turned to you with his brows furrowed. “I don’t even know who you are.”

You sighed. “That can be rectified.”

You looked at Jason, revealing your horns to him along with your tail. You saw him freeze immediately, staring at you with the same terror you expected.

He was mumbling something under his breath, probably a half-assed prayer.

Oh please, that won’t do anything.

Your words echoed through his head, sending him running from the area, shouting about how cursed Eddie was, and that his whole cult was doomed to hell. His now extremely confused friends followed, yelling at him to wait for them.

You were about to turn around and continue on as normal when you heard hysterical laughing.

“Holy shit! That was fucking great! Did you see how he ran?!” Eddie gave a poor imitation of Jason, screaming added and all. Though you likely wouldn’t admit it to your hellbound friends, it made you laugh. Eddie always found a way to.

You let the illusion fall, leaving your horns and tail out to be fully seen. He dragged you into the club room, still going on about how funny it was to watch Jason run.

“Eddie you’re l…late.”

It was then Eddie remembered that he forgot to warn you about the club members, who were now staring at you, horns and tail out, demonic sigils fully present on you.

“I forgot to mention that, didn’t I,” Eddie murmured, though you weren’t sure who he was talking to.

“‘Forgot to mention’?! Is that a demon? Or some kind of Upside Down freak monster?” A black-haired kid question, staring at you in fear and awe.

“Riiiight,” Eddie said, wincing a bit. “Meet my boyfriend.”

“Your WHAT?!”
