her eyes find his with ease, and for the first time in a long time [ … ] she doesn’t recognize the look on his face. anger she was used to, annoyance even. but this [ … ] her brows furrow as she watches him shift in his place slowly. “you can yell at me back at the bunker.” she brings her free hand up to wipe the sweat and blood from her forehead, her other adjusting its grip on the dagger. her eyes move towards the vampire corpse laying in front of them. “we should probably --” chelsea’s words are cut short as she hears a loud clatter against the floor. her brows furrow deeper as she looks back towards dean -- finding him already stepping over the corpse and closer to her. “what are you --” she doesn’t have time to voice her question before dean’s arms are wrapping around her waist.

chelsea freezes under his touch, her arms locked next to her sides as she feels his arms encircle around her. he doesn’t say anything, but she can feel his heartbeat against her chest. ( she thinks it might be beating faster than hers. ) she blinks as she processes the moment. it’s not like they haven’t hugged before. but this was different. her free arm moves slowly, touching first against his forearm, then his shoulder. she faintly registers a shaky exhale from him, before she hears an identical clatter from before. only this time, it’s her weapon. arms are thrown around his neck, one hand tightening into a fist around the back of his shirt, the other resting gently on the back of his neck. “hey, i’m okay.” she feels herself lifted to her tiptoes and shes not sure if it’s her doing, or his. she counts to sixty before she speaks up again. “dean, really, i’m okay. we should go.” brows lift as she feels his arms somehow tighten around her. “okay [ … ] just a few more minutes.”

one of my favorite (/sarcastic but not really cuz its like funny idk) things in fandoms is when people make ocs or self inserts or 'x readers' being shipped with characters, but the oc/sona/reader is literally just another character from the source material.. its like youre shipping the characters but didnt want to admit it, so you made a kinsona and branded it as something else..

its even funnier when they say its like that characters little sister, but the way they write it is still literally just the character, like their personality, dialogue, even their relationship, is the same..

In my head she likes to match with Ali so they both wear similar gowns, though Rhae’s are noticeably more grand. In her youth her hair was long and loose, covered with a cap during casual situations, braided and looped and covered with netting and pearls during balls/feasts/tourneys

Freshly married Rhae starts wearing a lot more red, trying to really cement her claim as her fathers true heir. She still sometimes wears the gowns she used to match with Ali, however they’re more fitting to a married women, with dark colors and being slightly more fitted to her figure. Her hair is now up too, becoming for a married princess, but she still likes it to be rolled and braided, still covered with pretty things. She’s in a middle ground between childhood and womanhood

War time Rhae is when she starts becoming very “maegor with teats” she only wears red and black, loathing the color green. Her gowns are now high necked and long sleeved, stern and serious and fitting for a mourning mother. Her hair is often hidden by a hood and veil, but underneath its tightly braided and practical. No longer any signs of the youth she once was
