Do you think maybe one of the reasons Raz was able to resonate with and 'wake up' Helmut from basically what is almost death is because it would have felt sort of like an old friend was visiting him because of Raz being related to Lucy also Lucy being closely related to why he's 'dead' and in his dormant vault in the first place X0

You know it's definitely a possibility, I can definitely believe a family of psychics would all share a similar psychic wavelength and it could be something grounding Helmut could teather himself to

I think any presence in his mind would have probably done it tho, just because it's Brand New Stimulus after 20 years of isolation. The fact it's Lucy's great nephew just puts icing on the cake, and it's lucky that Raz is just the right kid who recognizes that all the senses are, in fact, representative of IRL people that all trace back to revealing who Helmut is.

Hey Doodle, I wanted to ask, what are some of your favorite Psychonaut related blogs here on Tumblr? Personally, I love the Razputin Vodello Au very nice and wholesome stuff on there. I also enjoy the Band Au stuff. I really love some of those designs, especially Dion and Lizzie. And finally, there's one where Frazie goes to whispering rocks, and she's Raz's age. And the Interns are also really young as well. their Norma design is my favorite she is so cute but so evil at the same time. I think their name is paperbag Head or something.

Oh I have tons! I like the art for the Band Au as well! The designs are very accurate and capture the characters perfectly!

I as well love the @ask-razputin-vodello au too. I read the fic and it's by far one the most wholesome things I've read, while also having some drama too!

@whisperingrockers is an artist I really like, as well as @urfbownd and @browngonzo888! They aren't specifically psychonauts blogs from what I know of, but their Psychonauts art is PEAK! I love it!

Star Flower Raz. I made this by trying one method I saw in YouTube where mixing 3D with 2D. It took around 8 hours to get this done but fun to test.

#he is so cute i want to grandparent him so bad. i want to knit him a scarf (i can't knit) #every so often i do a couple studies so the way i draw him doesn't drift too far from on-model #his eyes are way more recessed than i realised. i think that's how they cheat the 3/4 view #because they're so big and so close to the sides of his face #so they're quite far back to compensate because otherwise when he turned his head they'd slide right off the edge #screencaps are from @urfbownd on twitter btw!

Aw golly gee anon, it's hard to pick favorites!!

... on the other hand, it wouldn't be honest to say I don't have favorites

this list is incomplete and not representative of the all talented folks making art. It's just what I thought of at the top of my head;

- @scribblepsychonauts his rendering game and general output is insane

- @urfbownd i loooove all their silly little razputins :]

One of my favorite artists @urfbownd, when I first joined tumblr, I made a little razili comic strip and they reblogged it! One of the tags was "kiss nom very good" and it made my day :) they also started following me after that and I was ecstatic! Keep in mind this just one of the many kind things people have said about me. People here are awesome!
