[SPOILERS INCLUDED] Could someone walk me through the ending of Naomi Alderman’s The Power?

I’m late to the game but have just finished The Power. I felt like I was on top of the whole thing until the last 20 or so pages that sort of left me hanging:

1) I understand that Allie went forth with her apocalyptic war but did she kill Roxy or something as well? It seemed like Roxy was in some sort of afterlife with her dad at the end. What does “before they go down” mean? That they know they’re about to die and we witness them a minute before?

2) After all this, was Allie really triggered by Mrs Montgomery being horrible? I always thought that was implied. Not to the extent we found out but still.

3) Are we supposed to assume that Tunde survived the escape and is still keeping a low profile or did I miss something?

4) As a modern upper class woman in politics I don’t really buy Margot being down with the civilization starting fresh for the sake of a bigger ideology. Like sure she would have money to buy an island, but what the hell is she gonna do with her kid on an island in the Stone Age- no electricity, modern medecine... again, am I misunderstanding this whole apocalypse?

5) is the whole Neil/Naomi thing meant to be an obvious gender reversal situation where Neil is basically treated like women are today, I’m not sure what it added to the conversation because it felt so apparent what she was doing?

Any answers would be appreciated, can’t tell if I’m reading too much into this or not! Thanks :)
