but the question is should you give astarion the duel wielder feat, alert feat or sharpshooter feat first. hummmmm 🤔 i dont think the pay off for sharpshooter is worth it early on to be actually helpful, perhaps for his second feat? especially bcuz with a good bow, he doesnt really need the boost in ranged attacks, not during act 1 anyway, theres just better options for the First feat. its more between alert and duel wielder to me, theyre both so good to have early in the game

i guess it comes down to play style, with alert youre guaranteeing (most of the time) he gets first turn, since his initiative is already high enough that he Usually gets first turn even without it. its more beneficial and noticeable for like, the harder fights because even if the boss goes second, all you need is that first turn to make sure they dont go sicko mode on your guys before they get even 1 turn in. he also cant be surprised which is always awesome but i personally dont find to be much of a problem when replaying the game bcuz even if its unavoidable, its just easier to navigate when you know its coming.

whereas duel wielder gives him more of an edge in close combat which god knows, he needs lmao if he literally cant sneak away. its risky for the first feat bcuz hes one of the more squishy classes, like maybe you should prioritise safeguarding him before focusing on giving him mad offense again, especially early on when you dont have much else or hell maybe you dont feel so confident with him enough yet. but thats all preference

i think if you want to (nearly) always have the upper hand at the start of combat, you should go with alert, its probably the safer and in that regard, better option. but if hes going to be one of your more offense heavy classes in your team, go with duel wielder. i also find duel wielder is just more fun to have alas i usually go with that first if im doing my usual foul foursome team comp. but i am curios to know if theres other feats anyone else regards as Must Haves for him bcuz i find atp i Never give him anything else lmao its always those three but im willing to broaden my horizons, enlighten me

to me the best Riddler design is the one from Batman Confidential and any design that goes a similar route because he looks like just some average guy you'd see on the street and probably would go completely unnoticed when not in costume but he also looks very smug and sleazy and like he'd try to sell you something unnecessary if you just stand near him for long enough. it's the "weird used car salesman that's trying to con and scam you" energy. Do you have a favorite design for the character?

I actually have the same desing as you as favorite. Though for slightly different reasons.

Now I do love the sleazy smug look specially how his hair is all spiked as if he picked it up a lot but the reason it is my favorite is how the Riddler costume cames with a whole rags to ritches tranformation.

I just love how you can compare both Edward and Riddler's desing and spot a million details that show how much care he gives to his supervillan presentation to the point they almost look like different people in a way that doesn't seen impossible. It's plausible that with one or two hours of prep he could've done all thoses changes himself without an absurd budget. We can see him putting a lot of product in his hair and shaving and applying make-up and adding the contacts and looking to the minial details on his suit just so he can look just right. It makes sense for who he is.

And yet while the transformation looks possible it's still very understandable if people don't recognize him on his civilian look. Also just the sleazy smile, I genuinally adore his sleazy smile or how his civilian look paired with the Arkham uniform makes he look less of a treat because he has the right type of sleziness and normal to be confunded with a henchman (and now I'm imagining Eddie on that shitty undercovered boss reality show).

Also the useless pocket square means the word to me. Riddler should always have an useless pocket square.
