Ok I finally have time to post all the merch I bagged at the USGP. They had two special mech booths that were selling old stuff waaaaayyy cheaper than the new stuff so that's where I got all my stuff. I got the Aston Martin cap & shirt free from the AM team at the trash pickup 💚💚 I've already been wearing my Seb stuff around I'm so glad they had some!! For comparison new caps were $70 (!1!1!1!!1!1) and the Gasley RBR cap was like $30. And they had a deal where u could get 2 tshirts for $40, when new shirts were like $80

I justified myself buying all these because I didn't have to pay for shipping. Also I'd held myself back from buying any official F1 merch until now so this will be my last haul for a while.

So yes my legs ache today but it was worth it to stand outside in the dry wind for 4 hours at the paddock exit to see every driver except nando and Mick drive by. PLUS daddy stroll, toto, TED, otmar, Dani K, and maybe horner, Franz, and the main Honda dude who is always on podiums with rbr. ANYWAYS it was insane. people mobbed checos, toto's, and Lando's cars so that they had to stop and I felt bad for the security guards.

I think my "toto I don't think we're in f1blr anymore" moment was the first time I saw someone wearing a lewis cap and a max shirt. And then I saw more, and more. Like seeing people in real life be normal about a sport was healthy <3 like I saw so many couples were one was a max fan and the other was a lewis fan, and you'd THINK I'd be the guy who was the max fan but a lot of times the girl would be wearing max stuff. Idk I just had fun analyzing the crowd demographics this weekend. Def a ton of Danny ric and lando fans, lots of Ferrari families, quite a few Aston caps, oddly a decent amount of Alfa Romeo merch around me.
