i think i figured what my preference is. If it’s a show about romance, where romance IS the major plot, i’m okay with it. enthusiastic and enthralled even. but god forbid it shows up anywhere else and i’m deeply upset, cursing out god damned amatonormativity, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. not to be a housewife on main but guess who just discovered dry mopping. i got this industial/commercial style mop that's basically a swiffer but built to last. and reusable microfiber mop pads. and horgh it's so much better than sweeping. you literally just keep it on the ground at all times and push it around the floor. and then at the end i had a pile of fur n dust the pad didn't pick up -- easy to just vacuum the small pile, instead of lugging the heavy vacuum around the entire house !! i also put the mop handle on the floor, pad facing upright (still velcroed to the mop) and ran the vacuum over it to pick up a lot of the dirt, before tossing the pad into my laundry basket. woohoo !!! clean floors !! without too much energy spent !!

#borbtalks #i got a corded stick vacuum bc it was supposed to be light. and it is relatively light. #it's just my body is not currently physically capable of using a vacuum through my entire residence #i say currently bc in the summer i had a period where the vacuum was a fine weight and i could handle it #and unfortunately the point where the vacuum turned to be too heavy for me was outside of the return window #and id been poking around. looking at alternatives. even canister vacuums. but that's not an expense i can afford rn #and the vacuum i currently have is like. it's a fine vacuum. standard. it'd be wasteful to replace it now when it still works #also my floors are 90% hardwood rn so. if the next place im at is majorly carpet. i might need to think again about the canister vac

got reallyyyy in my head at work today about not naturally being a gentler, more patient, more compassionate person. like why can’t I just be nicer why am I a know-it-all and sort of a bitch. but I’m trying to hold this loosely and to be like ‘hmm that’s interesting information. how did you act and what did you do that made you feel like you were not being very patient or compassionate today and what can you learn from it’ instead of just being like This Is My Forever Character Flaw. also I gotta acknowledge too that I’m in one of those funks where I’m so sick of hearing my own voice even in my head. so I think I might just need to be a little gentler with myself and let this day roll off me. I started my period this morning and then I got to work and found out only me and one other opener were there but our #opening manager wasn’t here yet so she was late and we spent the next 20 minutes rushing to get everything set up before we opened #and then we immediately started getting customers and it’s just been busy and I’m tired and just don’t feel good bc of my period #and then so far I’ve had 2 of my least favorite customers come through the drive thru where I’m working #one is this dude who’s just fucking annoying another is the guy that asked for my number a few months ago who I haven’t seen since I turned #him down so I took his order and then made someone else deal with him at the window #and then it got busy with everyone ordering drinks like hot coffees which meant I had to walk from our drive thru out to the lobby bc my #coffees were out bc everyone wants coffee today but when I would do that I would still have to be taking orders #and then someone cleared a few specialty coffees off the barista screen without making them while the person was sitting in the drive thru #so I had to make those while doing other stuff too and people were asking me questions #and I was just getting very overstimulated and annoyed plus I’m hungry #and I just want to leave and go home and sleep but it’s my best friend’s birthday so she’s probably gonna want to do something later but I #just don’t feel up to it and I know she’s probably ready to hang out because she’s been off for 10 days with Covid so she’s well rested now #for her birthday but 😭😭😭 I just want to crash into my bed so hard and not wake up until noon tomorrow #also the coworker I work with every day and don’t like is here today unfortunately #and also all of the speakers we use to play music in the back are dead right now and I just want to play music #first world problems but I have so little patience today

sludge like: 4/10 this fucker broke all my weapons

kohga: 8/10. might be overselling it but honestly road rage kohga made up for me breaking all of my weapons (again)

Mucktorok: 0/10 but i accepted my fate of suffering quickly enough

Molduga: 2/10 not better than botw but also not worse

Queen Gibdo (at the opening): -19472/10. i got into that fight with 5 arrows and i missed 3 of them. eventually got through it by throwing shockfruit and using the master sword when i could (which then broke. obviously.)

Queen Gibdo (again): 5/10. i had 100 arrows this time. still was yelling at riju the entire time because she somehow managed to never be close when i needed her

Moragia: 7.5/10. didnt hate this one actually. thought it was really fun to fly around like that. aside from the flying physics it was the easiest boss tho

Marbled Gohma: 5.5/10. gimmicky but doable

igneo talus: 6.5/10 i literally use one of these bad boys to farm valuables. also i slapped an igneo talus heart onto a gloom sword and i will never forget that weapon. rest in pieces my beloved

phantom ganon (korok forest): 7.5/10 reminded me why maybe i shouldve not spent the latter half of my 140 botw hours hunting down guardians and nothing else. how do you fight humanshaped enemies asking for a friend.

phantom ganons (hyrule castle sanctum): 6.5/10. started screaming crying sobbing when all 5 of them came for me in the second phase (sages were down because of the gloom) but it was fun!

seized construct: -1037/10 i hate the mech controls. im sorry. mineru i love you but that was fucking awful

flux construct III: -19478249287482/10 literally go fuck yourself i hate bosses that move their weak spot every time you manage to aim at said weak spot

Lynel: 10/10 still feels great and savage lynel bow my beloved

#totk spoilers #i think the thing that gets me about a lot of these bosses/enemies #is that i hate the feeling of just. helplessly receiving damage #the mech sacrifices speed & movement for power. the flux construct will just repeatedly crush you and rarely give you an attack window #the mucktorok had the sludge which constantly covers the arena. it comes back even when you remove it #queen gibdo? dodging the wind things was a nightmare and more importantly. i hate using riju as a sage #gloom hands are an outlier they just freaked me out. lol #i would like to add #a lot of this does come down to personal taste #things like delayed attacks and attacks stunning/throwing you are just things that get on my nerves REALLY fast #not being able to damage a boss for a long period of time because of mechanics and not out of my own free choice to focus on moving #is also something i hate #im a little hater #i like totk but. hm. #so many small things in that game get on my nerves.
