dating seungkwan feels like...

singing your heart out in karaoke. it's this rare sense of comfort when you are not afraid of acting silly and receiving weird looks; it's about never being called 'too much' or 'over the top', it's about knowing that you are perfectly fine the way you are, knowing that you are enough, knowing that any form of you will be accepted and loved.

('why i can't be somewhere in the middle?!' you lash out in frustration. 'i'm either too much or i'm not enough why can't i be just-just..' you trail off, unsure of the ending. 'ugh.'

'just what?' seungkwan asks. he was silent during your rant, listening closely but not scheming in. 'just fine? just enough? you already are, dear. in fact, you are so fine that if they reject you it's only because they recognize competition in you.' pure sincerity in his voice makes your eyes fill up with tears and seungkwan rushes to your side immediately. 'no more self-doubt, dear, only confidence in your capabilities. and you are perfectly capable.')

seungkwan is someone who joins you in any of your antics; when you suddenly start acting like you're in the movie - he instantly plays along, when you want to dance under the rain - he's spinning you in circles and hums some tune, when you feel like screaming - he takes you somewhere far and lets out all frustrations with you.

('my fort is better,' you proclaim proudly, giggling when seungkwan huffs dramatically. 'don't be a sore loser!'

'we need an opinion of a third person or else it's not fair.' he quickly takes pictures of both of your forts and sends it into the group chat, asking which one is better. 'loser cleans the bathroom whole month and i'm definitely not doing it!')

he is the soft hum of your favorite song, he is a bubbly laughter that lights up your mood, he is a steady hand to hold on to when you need support; seungkwan is many things but above them all he is loud. Loud in the way he proclaims his love to you ('i will go to the roof right now and shout 'i love you' from there if you don't believe me!'), loud in the way he shows that he cares ('where is your hat? and scarf? don't make me go all mother hen on you, you know i will!'), loud in the way he is not ashamed to let everyone know that you two are together and that he is so, so proud to have you.

('you look very..proud,' you comment, sliding to the seat next to your boyfriend. seungkwan's hand wraps around your shoulders and he quickly kisses your temple, ignoring whistling from the boys. 'wanna share why?'

'i'm just so proud that you are with me,' he answers honestly, grinning. 'everyone here loved you, boys came up to me to say how nice you are and i'm just- really happy. and proud.' he smiles and squeezes your shoulder: 'i knew they would love you.' but then his face changes and he adds: 'but they can't love you too much cause competing with my friend for you is not ideal-'

'oh my god, boo,' you interrupt, rolling your eyes on his dramatics. 'don't go overboard, okay?' you ask and when he nods, you peck his lips, smiling. 'good. and just for the record - i'm proud to be with you, too.')

seungkwan goes into relationships all in, treats them like his most important solo project on which succeeding is the only option. he is serious, diligent and although he usually tries to laugh his efforts off, he does try to be the best for you. he's doing it all, he searches on google the best gift ideas, checks reviews of new places, asks his friends for an advice, reads forums - all to be able to give you the best experience. he is shy inside but tries to come off as confident as possible and with you he grows, matures into someone he's really proud of.

dating seungkwan feels like a car ride with windows down: sometimes wind gets too strong but that doesn't deter the happiness and freedom you feel in your chest. you know that we are just tiny humans but seungkwan makes you feel like you are so much more, like you are moon and sun and all of the stars; he makes you feel like living is best when it's done loudly.

Just want you to know that these bird asks give me life. Are the twins vocal like birds? Any singing or specific calls like train horns or signals that sometimes echo through the subway lines?

Listen, coupled with those comics that have gone by recently of the singing twins, I absolutely need to give some thought to them being vocal and/or singing. I think it goes without saying they do imitate train sounds for fun and profit tho!

Okay you know what, because I love it they absolutely can and do sing in this AU. Is it because of their wings/bird like tendencies? Who knows! Now you get to hear about my headcanon for their voices that I totally hadn't already thought up because of said comics. :p

Ingo is loud. It goes without saying lol. But he does not have good volume control on his singing, which makes his singing quite forceful as well. This does not lend well to a variety of styles of singing. He can't do volume changes within a song. Even his attempts at quieter songs don't usually work...well. It's not that it's bad or off key! It's just not soothing in the slightest! So upbeat and fun songs are fine, but don't try to get him to sing you a lullaby!

When he returns from Hisui, he has learned how to sing at quieter volumes better. From singing to the Sneaslettes, to humming to himself when wandering around, to trying to keep his volume down when joining in a group song around the campfires at night, those kind of situations. When he's singing softly (for him), it's soothing, comforting. A rumble and a croon all in one. Of course he can still do loud as well, and does so happily.

Emmet tho! So he can control his volume fine! He can hit all the notes correctly! It's also the most wrote sound you'll ever hear! It's very hard for him to put the right inflections on songs to give them any personality when he's singing by himself. If he's singing along with someone or something (radio), it sounds good! But solo it's just very note by note by the book. This absolutely does not bother him or stop him, of course.

He likes singing more than Ingo does usually. But when he starts singing, Ingo will usually join in as well. When Ingo returns from Hisui, the first time Ingo sings in his new quiet rumble, Emmet immediately latches onto it as his favorite sound in the whole world. Yes, Ingo being loud is good. But when Ingo sings quietly, you can hear his contentment as well. Emmet will start singing quiet songs just so Ingo joins in and he can enjoy his brother's voice.

They both can whistle. However Emmet can whistle tunes, and Ingo can only whistle LOUD. It's a sore spot for Ingo, because whistling a tune seems so fun! However if you need to be heard across a bustling subway (or across the mountains), Ingo's your man! Emmet is jealous because Ingo can and has stopped crowds by whistling alone.

Having a pretty shitty day so please share some silly headcanons of eggman that make you smile

I'm sorry, I hope you feel better soon! I find it a bit difficult to choose which headcanons of mine to share without a particular prompt but I picked out a few that make me laugh and put a smile on my face when I think about them. I hope you like them too! 💜

He really likes to sing even though it's not considered a talent of his. I think his singing voice is beautiful but Orbot and Cubot, who get to hear it the most, don't agree. He sings in the shower, he can't resist singing along when songs he actually likes finally play on the radio, and he just likes to sing when he's in a good mood wherever he is!

He doesn't sing with a smoother voice like Boom Eggman can seem to do, it stays as gruff as it usually sounds. Because his voice has its Jiminy Glick inspired peaks and valleys to it, he can't keep the higher and lower notes consistent when singing. He uses the opposite of the required pitch each time by accident.

But he still breaks into song with such bold confidence, regardless of judgment. Sometimes he's loud and proud and other times he sings in a quieter mumble. He also hums and whistles tunes, like how he hummed his theme song in Sonic Universe #39! Whether he's signing, humming, or whistling, it's always cute and funny to hear!

The way he tries to hide how he's amused by something, such as how ticklish he is, is absolutely adorable. His first reaction is a little yelp and then he quickly covers his mouth. It's always obvious that he's trying to hide a smile behind his big hands and while he can muffle giggles with them, he still snorts with a loud 'snrk' from his nose.

More often than not he ends up failing to hold back and bursts into laughter, especially if he's trying to hide how ticklish he is but his sensitive spots keep being targeted. Whenever someone tries to prove that he's ticklish, they always win! He starts with a quieter hesitant giggle but it gets louder and harder to control.

The more amused he is, the more likely it is for his "hoho" laugh to surface. And his way of absolutely howling with laughter is his "hoohoo" laugh, which is rare outside of him laughing maniacally at his evil plans. If something else manages to make him laugh that way, he gets a bit blushy after it slips out when he's trying to hold back, especially if he's told just how adorable it is. 💘💕

He's so happy when he gets an opportunity to talk about his passions and show off his work to someone that's genuinely interested. He could do it for hours! His enthusiasm shows with how energetic he is, how wide his smile is, and the excitement in his voice. If his glasses are off, people can see the way his eyes light up too.

When he's really excited he shakes both of his fists together and jumps for joy! He also does some happy dancing and prancing around to express the exhilarating energy that he feels inside. Sometimes he does it so much that he's quite tired and needs a nap after but it's a lot of fun and it feels good to release it!

He loves to go for random rides both night and day, whether it's his egg mobile, E-Rider, or egg mobiles he turned into cars for the racing. When flying in the egg mobile, he can go anywhere, however fast he wants without obstacles in the way. It's good practice for driving at top speed without falling out like he has in the past.

When he's nearer to the ground in his E-Rider or egg mobiles-turned cars, he sneaks onto the tracks in the after hours when they're empty, not only when he wants to practice for future races but also just to have fun! He loves to go as fast as he can and the feeling of the wind in his mustache makes him feel so alive.

He also loves to ride the rollercoasters he has (that he actually made safe enough for him to ride unlike the deadly ones for the visitors XD) at his theme parks after hours for a similar thrill!

He likes to make use of his many terabytes of selfies by adding hearts and sparkle effects to them, along with little love notes about how handsome, intelligent and great he is. He also prints and frames his favorites (which is most of them) and uses them to make collages. There's been a lot of times where he's found gazing dreamily at them.

He always takes a moment to admire his beautiful self in every reflection. During the occasions that he's in a public area, his reflection on cars or buildings catch his attention too. He forgets that certain reflections are one sided and that people are on the other side, so they see him grinning at himself with adoration and posing at the window. XD

When he's sure he's alone in his Eggcave, he enjoys playing with the figures he's created. He creates scenes to test out battle strategies and acts out Sonic's defeat and his glorious victory. He often breaks the figures of Sonic and friends after hitting them with his toy robots and mechs. He doesn't mind when they break as long as they aren't the figures of himself or his brilliant creations!

And he doesn't just have figures to play with, he also has little plushies of Sonic and friends that he likes to destroy and use as target practice. He also has cute plushies of himself that he treasures likes to dress up to match his outfits. Some of them are produced in his factories to be sold at his theme parks but he also has handmade ones like the dolls in Final Egg in Adventure.

Because the planning stages of his work requires a lot of sketching, he's a skilled artist. He likes to keep paper nearby so he can draw designs for future creations the moment the ideas come to mind. He's done this since he was a kid and improved immensely over the years to the point that he can draw detailed and complex designs.

But his style looks much more simple and scribbly when he's filling up pages with silly little doodles when he's bored. He often draws cute self portraits and things that make him laugh, like Sonic meeting his doom in comedic ways and him celebrating the victory. He can often be heard giggling to himself while drawing those. 💖
