i think my favourite horror trope is what i like to call "it gets better before it gets worse". the evil is seemingly defeated. the worst is apparently over. it was tough, and maybe you didn't all make it out in one piece, but you made it. except that you didn't. you're still infected, still marked. you bring the horror with you wherever you go. and there's no timeframe after which you can say you're safe with any certainty. it might lie dormant for years, just waiting for you to turn your back to it long enough to let it find you again. it knows your scent, now. it can hunt you down wherever you go.

Just how to Produce a Flourishing Economy by Utilising the Legislation of Attraction聽
Therefore, what is morally incorrect with the dark economy? The clear answer, in quick: it's exploitative. Other parts of the economy, that aren't hidden (though might have liked to be), are penalized due to their visibility. They pay taxes. Individuals in a manufacturer owned by their state or in the government support can't prevent spending taxes. The amount of money that the state gathers from them is used, for instance, in infrastructure (roads, telephones, electricity) or used to cover community services (education, defence, policing). The operators of the dark economy appreciate these companies without paying for them, without keeping the expenses and worse: while the others keep the costs. These encourages them, in theory to utilize these methods less efficiently.
And all this might be correct in a highly effective, nearly great industry economy. The stress is on the phrase "market" ;.However, all of us are now living in groups which are governed by bureaucracies which are controlled (in principle, seldom in practice) by politicians. These elites have a tendency to misuse and to abuse resources and to spend them in an inefficient manner. Actually economic theory admits that any dollar remaining in the fingers of the private sector is much more efficiently used compared to the same buck in the arms of the most straightforward and properly indicating and well preparing civil servant. Governments throughout the earth distort economic choices and misallocate rare economic resources.
Hence, if the objectives are to inspire employment and financial growth - the black economy should really be welcomed. That is properly what it does and, by meaning, it will therefore more proficiently than the government. The less duty dollars a government has - the less injury it does. promo莽玫es e sorteios聽 That is an opinion gives by most economists on earth today. Lower duty prices are an admission with this fact and a legalization of areas of the dark economy.
The dark economy is particularly essential in situations of economic hardships. Countries in change are a private case of emerging economies which are a private event of developing countries which was once called (in less politically correct times) "Third World Countries" ;.They suffer from all method of intense financial illnesses. They lost their move areas, they are technologically backward, their unemployment skyrockets, their place and machinery are dilapidated, their infrastructure decrepit and structural, they are lethally illiquid, they become immoral groups (obligations maybe not honoured, offense flourishes), their deal deficits and budget deficits device and they're trained to be determined by handouts and dictates from numerous global financial institutions and donor countries.

honestly imo trans guys who believe in transandrophobia, especially as being perpetrated by transfems, and trans guys who disavow transandrophobia but consistently malign trans fems on here as being pedophile rapists etc are functionally the same. both presuppose an innocence and moral defensibility based on being cafab, both fundamentally view transfems as being male predators/wielding male privilege or power, and both utilise callouts, campaigns of harassment and ostracisation, and allegations of problematicity/moral degeneracy to punish transfems who dont conform to their views of how trans women should exist. 2 sides of the same transmisogynistic coin

i badly wanted dark!Jason tbh. I mean, we got a dark Percy choking a goddess, and a dark Nico ghostifying a roman legionnaire, but the closest thing we got to a dark!Jason was when he was possessed by eidolon and electrocuted Percy, or his anger when Thalia was turned into an ice statue which isnt dark enough imo. I just wanted pure RAGE from him, till the point he ends up doing something completely out of character and stuns everyone.
I mean, Jason is the son of the king of all gods, his rage would be absolute terror no doubt. His dad is an angry man, so I hc him to have his dad's unhinged anger if he gets out of control (I honestly feel like this is a necessity for all Zeus kids lol). Also, Jupiter is A LOT more unhinged than Zeus considering he's roman so jason should arguably have more craziness in him . Maybe something like sucking the air out of someone's lungs to make them stop breathing for a few secs. And Leo going "man, you gotta stop shocking us like this. Pun intended"
imagine the potential of that scene. Wasted potential yet again. smh.

I don't know if I'm sad or angry about *H*H* and how it portrayed Hell and its Highest Princes, Kings, Presidents and Marquis or lack thereof. If Miss Medrano truly wanted to criticise Christianity, she could've utilised Demonology and people who work with them. And no, not all Demons are evil.
There are also videos of people having some experiences working or conjuring them and some Demons also want to share their knowledge.
King Paimon - There are videos of people talking about working with King Paimon and I highly recommend watching them. He teaches all arts, philosophies and all secrets things - an offering to him must be made.
Prince Orobas - faithful to the ones that conjure him, never deceives them, gives true answers to past, present and things to come, divinity and creation of the world, confers dignities and prelacies, and favour of friends and foes. - this Prince could be a nice depiction of Demons working with humans, since Prince Orobas along with King Paimon love sharing knowledge -
Prince Stolas - astrology, knowledge of herbs, plants and precious stones. Again, since he's the 'main character' in *H*B* they could show him teaching humans or those who desire to know more - imps or sinners. Then again....
Marquis Gamigin - teaches all liberal sciences and gives an account of the souls of those who died in sin and drowned in the sea. Stays with the conjurer until they are satisfied.
There are also tortured demons, who still wish to return to heaven - Phenex for example - also a pacifist demon, who got casted out of heaven due to not picking a side (no, not Belphegor who was just lazy). All of this could be written as a tragedy, a criticism of God and Christianity, that not all Demons are evil, how Satanists (not in horror movies) and others worship someone else other than God.
(TLDR, I still don't understand why they want to redeem sinners when heaven was shown to be worse than hell.)

the supers very simply using their trained super-hearing to each other as communication instead of comm-links/online means is such a fun idea. imagine the day to day 'one-sided' conversations they have with each other.

The thing is that all the sides have the ability to shapeshift, Janus is just the only one who makes use of it. So I think it would be really funny if one of the sides decided to shapeshift and impersonate Janus.
Next time Janus impersonates Logan, then Logan should show up disguised at him, and Janus would be so offended he'd end up insisting that he is the real Janus.
Or someone shows up disguised as him while Janus is being himself just to cause extra confusion. The possibilities are limitless.

Do all of the knights have names in your au? And how did you decide on them?
hello there, thank you so much for the message! correct me if I misunderstand, but I think this is about a panel from my galacta knight vs meta knight comic:
Tumblr media
where Galacta Knight uses the word Va媒tita. it's not a name, it's a... actually you know what, it's so much more embarrassing! it's a term of endearment/a relationship designator from my unnecessarily complex whole entire sci-fi language i built for them, lmao 馃挦
here's the note at the beginning of my personal dictionary as a quick crash course:
Tumblr media
Ei Va媒tita in particular means "my gravity". it's akin to words like beloved, my heart, or soulmate- an irresistible force in one's own life. it's usually used romantically, but it doesn't have to be. Galacta Knight says it here to be cruel, though i do think he means it quite wholly
when I go in for making languages, especially sci-fi or high-fantasy ones, i like to consider the alien culture that the language is formed in. for these guys, everything was star and space coded; they had no reason to care about "hearts" or "souls". they considered themselves star-like, and so gravity as a term was most important; it's the only thing that can really move them.
praise is about being bright or shiny or having strong gravitational pull; and insults, accordingly, tend to revolve around being dim/lightless or stuck in orbit around someone greater
Tumblr media
(translation under the cut because this is already getting long, sorry... i love to talk about this... thank you for asking 馃槶馃挐)
phrase // literal translation (from starspeak) // english localisation or meaning
kalim茅pos // welcome first light // good morning ast茅skotei // dim star // derogatory but not blindingly so; you could use it pityingly or fondly in a pinch ei 茅pios // me see // wake up ei Va媒tita // my gravity // term of endearment and a relationship designator used within a star-system, usually for equal partners eu desai 脥lioz ai ei // you (are not) the Sun of me // this is basically just a rejection from Meta Knight. the Sun serves an important role in star-systems, and he's simply telling Galacta Knight to shove it. he doesn't say it very well, but he refuses to say 脥lioz-ei and so turns to a slightly clunky workaround.
