From a sociological perspective, societal structures are delicate constructs held together by mutually accepted narratives.
However, the common denominator of these stories is starting to erode today. Traditional concepts such as gender identity, sense of justice, aesthetic values, and political orientations are increasingly on shaky ground.
In these turbulent times, a tool joins the fray - artificial intelligence, which relieves us of many traditional tasks.
What else but philosophy could step in as a mediator, calling out these changes by name, questioning the validity of truth claims, and through its own storytelling, working towards the formation of a new consensus?

ECHOES OF THE FUTURE: A Cinematic Odyssey in 2060
In the vast canvas of the metropolis, the neon-lit marquee of 'The Odyssey' stood as a testament to a bygone era—a cinema palace where the magic of movies transcended time, now hosting experiences that were the stuff of science fiction itself.
The Resurgence of Reality
It was the year 2060, and I found myself at the threshold of “The Odyssey,“ the last standing movie theater in a world dominated by personal holo-screens. The technology that made this possible was rooted in the advancements of AR/VR integration with brain-computer interfaces, a field that had blossomed back in 2020, transforming the way we experience digital realms.
The Immersive Narrative
Inside, I was greeted by drones, descendants of 2020s autonomous flight technology, now outfitted with cameras to capture every angle for the most immersive films ever made. I took my seat, connecting to the neural synch device, an interface that evolved from the VR headsets and early BCI experiments, capable of inducing a full spectrum of sensory feedback.
The Journey Through Time
The movie began, and I was thrust into a narrative spun by 'The Storyteller's Ghost,' an AI that had learned from the creative endeavors in the early 21st century. This AI had been programmed to analyze storytelling techniques, crafting tales that could stir the soul.
The Reflection
As the credits rolled, I realized that the story I had just witnessed was not just a fiction but a reflection of our journey with technology—from the first clunky VR headsets to the sleek neural interfaces I had just detached from.
The Departure
Stepping out into the night, the tale of 'The Odyssey' echoed the sentiments of our current technological trajectory, where research in AR/VR and BCI is already shaping a future once imagined only in films.
And as 'The Odyssey' faded behind me, I carried with me a story—a blend of past dreams and future realities, a reminder that the cinema of 2060 was not just about the films but about the legacy of human innovation and our eternal quest to push the boundaries of experience.

The Fallacy of Generalization
Imagine you come across a dog. It's a Dachshund. Would you then think that all dogs are Dachshunds? Of course not.
Yet, we often tend to make similar fallacies in our daily lives, especially when it comes to human experiences.
In our fast-paced world, where every piece of information is just a click away, it's challenging for us to grasp the complexity of data and experiences. A clear example of this is provided by statistics through the phenomenon of "sampling bias".
Consider a survey where a small group of people state that their favorite food is pizza. It would be an evident mistake to conclude from this that pizza is everyone's favorite food.
But why? The answer lies in the diversity and complexity of our society, which is not adequately captured by a small sample.
This behavior is not just a statistical issue but deeply affects our emotional world and decision-making. Our brain is wired to learn from experiences and protect us from potential dangers. It tends to focus on extraordinary events and derive general patterns from them. While this can be helpful in many situations, it also leads to premature judgments and misunderstandings.
The challenge is to appreciate the unique without viewing it as the general norm. In a world characterized by diversity and constant change, it's even more important to consider the context and remain open to different perspectives and experiences. Let's be cautious in generalizing from individual cases. Remember: Not every water forms a wave, and not every dog is a Dachshund.
By learning to question our perceptions and embrace the diversity in our world, we can avoid misunderstandings and live a richer, more comprehensive life. Just as not every water is a wave, not every experience is representative – and that's the beauty of life's diversity.

In a language that touches the soul,
Thoughts pour forth, quiet and whole.
The dice have fallen, the game's at an end,
Looking back, through time and space, around the bend.
If I were young again, oh, what would be different this time?
Would I walk the same path, or follow a new rhyme?
Each choice, a path in life's intricate lace,
Each step, a part of my own embrace.
Years flow like water in a stream,
Each joy, each pain, a heartfelt dream.
Had I known what fate would bring,
Would I have stayed silent, or chosen to sing?
Yet time, a cunning thief so sly,
Steals moments softly, without a cry.
Youthful dreams, so vibrant and wild,
Now just memories, tender and mild.
In the quiet of the moment, in the depth of night,
I see that life, in its own right, is a beautiful sight.
The dice have fallen, yes, it's true,
But each throw was unique, and wondrous too.

Man, angel and devil.
The most diverse sciences have devoted themselves to the question of good and evil. First and foremost, philosophy. In ancient times, it was the Greek thinker Aristotle who introduced ethics as an independent philosophical discipline. Its subject is the values, norms and customs of society - also called morality. In other words, what a society considers to be good or right.
The natural sciences have also tried to fathom good and evil. Toward the end of the 19th century, the Italian prison physician Cesare Lombroso examined the skull shape of serious criminals and derived the "homo delinquens" from it. He believed that evil was inherent in criminals from birth and could be seen in their appearance.

Cheerleader effect is the name given to the effect that individuals are perceived as more attractive within the group than on their own, could be proven in experiments. The effect occurs regardless of the viewing time of the images, the context of the group presentation, and image manipulation such as blurring.
