So many fic writers don’t acknowledge the fact that canonically Fenris hosts a game night with Donnic at the mansion WEEKLY
Like sure he probably put them on hold for a bit after his personal quests since oof those were not good times but past that he sees Donnic once a week!
So many of you guys are missing out on A - probably one of/the only friend Fenris consistently hangs out with OUTSIDE of Hawke and Co (even though he’s Aveline’s husband lmao). And B - the closeness and hilarity of their relationship, like they do this for years, they clearly talk to each other about a lot. To the point where Donnic tells him about maybe having children and stuff, which Fenris then asks Aveline about and she goes ‘you two talk too much’ LIKE??? ITS RIGHT THERE IN CANNON
The funny part comes in when you’re romancing Fenris because everyone depicts him as like brooding about it alone in his mansion for weeks (which he definitely did ngl) but then only confiding in either no one at all or like Varric WHEN DONNIC IS CANONICALLY RIGHT THERE
Like can you imagine that at one point during one of their game nights in Act 3 Fenris is like:
“Donnic”
“Yeah?”
“So you are married…”
“Listen Fenris, buddy, you’re right. I am happily married and as your friend I would love to give you relationship advice but you were there for the absolute mess that was Aveline trying to court me. You know full well why I can’t really help you get with Hawke. The two of you combined are worse than even my dear wife.”
“We are not that bad”
“Fenris”
“Fasta vaas, fine. So what now?”
“Well I can offer encouragement, Aveline is close with Hawke used to have tea with her mother a lot, so I can tell you with absolute certainty that Hawke is into you and Leandra wouldn’t have disapproved. You just have to make your move… and also never tell either of them that I told you this”
*Meanwhile in the Hawke estate*
“Aveline I need you to do me a favour and get Donnic to find out if Fenris is still into me”
“What?”
“You told me they hang out a lot! And I can’t just ask him that myself so I need you to find out for me Please? I really need you to return the favour here!”
I think this would be an absolutely hilarious interpretation of canon events and a really funny and sweet dynamic between the four of them. The rest of the Hawke flock could joke about them going on double dates lmao
TLDR: Donnic and Fenris are canonically really good friends and this should be acknowledged more in fics and stuff
(Fenris and Aveline are also good friends fyi but that’s for a different post. As well as something I have actually seen a couple of people talk about on here so yeah another time)

a long Vaas and little pirate story
__________________________________________
Unlike most souls who resided on Rook Island, Y/N was not born there, she did not choose to go there, and she had not been captured by pirates.
No, she was just on a boat passing by the island, which had sunk due to an explosion in the poorly constructed engines, and she had managed to survive by clinging to debris and swimming to the beach.
No one had seen her. No one knew she was here. Without money, without a phone, without an identity card, but with enough intelligence to understand where she had landed, Y/N had accepted that she had to be discreet and wait for the right moment to leave the island.
For the first few months, she hid in caves and the jungle. It was not easy, because there were many poisonous plants, wild animals, in addition to the pirates and natives.
The natives weren't mean, but a bit stupid. Talkers. They could speak about the foreign girl who wandered near the villages, and Y/N would have became a prey for the pirates.
Then, after nearly dying of starvation, thirst, freezing, or being eaten by a tiger, Y/N wondered if the best hiding place wasn't staying right in the lair of Rook's most dangerous creature.
Vaas camp.
Y/N had seen the leader of the pirates several times, from afar. He was quite scary, especially when he stopped in the middle of the forest to sniff the air and stare at the bushes, as if he could sense she was there.
There were also the stories she had heard about him. It looks like he was as mad as he was violent, uncontrollable, unpredictable. Always on drugs. Thinking only of money and control.
It was for these latter reasons that Y/N thought she had a chance hiding among the pirates.
Maybe she was small, and didn't really know how to fight, but she was good. Smart. Polite and disciplined. If she did the tasks the leader demanded, and didn't piss off the other pirates, then she would find herself a safe lair.
With some regret, she cut her hair, hiding her face as much as possible with two bandanas and sunglasses. Red bandanas, like the t-shirt she had taken from a corpse, covered by a bulletproof vest. With the headband that flattened her breasts, the oversized pants, the gun at her waist, and boots, she looked like a little man.
A little pirate.
As if everything was normal, she joined a group of pirates patrolling the north of the island. They didn't comment, asking her if she wanted some rum, and snickering that the new one was tiny.
They laughed less when a wild dog tried to attack them and Y/N killed it. Living in the jungle for months was learning to survive.
When they offered her rum again, it was with gratitude and respect.
Y/N first stayed in an outpost. It was simple, it was easy. She wandered far into the jungle to urinate or wash herself. She slept little, and in inaccessible places. Conversations were minimal, only when necessary.
No one seemed to suspect anything or care about her.
Nico and Benny were funny. Almost sympathetic, if she forgot that they tortured and killed the people the group caught.
Carlos was a bit scary. He didn't stay at the outpost, he only came by from time to time, to check that everything was fine.
The first time he had seen Y/N, he had made a funny face.
'Who's the little guy ?' he asked.
"New recruit. He's good with a knife."
     "... I didn't know we had a new recruit."
But he had left without adding anything, and everything had gone well.
Until it's time to switch teams. It was hard and boring to guard the outposts and those who did a good job were rewarded by being able to return to camp for a while.
Vaas camp.
Contrary to what Y/N had hoped, not only was the pirate leader there when she arrived, he noticed her right away.
"So, you're the new little recruit with a knife ? It's true that you are small, hermano. A real baby. Easy to eat. You know I could easily eat you, huh chico ?"
"Yes, boss." decided to answer Y/N, staying calm and looking at him in the eye.
This seemed to surprise him, before he burst out laughing. He pulled out his gun, pointing it at her.
"Do you think you're funny, chico ? Do you think I'm kidding ?"
     "No, boss."
"... No ? You're just a calm and polite little chico then ? Hmm. We'll see about that."
It was seen very quickly. Like at camp, Y/N found a quiet place to sleep, and she avoided everyone when she had to undress. For the rest, she obeyed orders, she was silent, polite, calm, discreet.
Which did not escape Vaas, who seemed to have eyes everywhere, and who seemed to appreciate this unusual behavior.
His fascination didn't lessen after she saved him from a large stone. Chico, as he decided to call her, had become his hero, his little favourite.
"There was the rock, there were the caves. Mi chico is like a lucky charm, hermano. I can't stay away from him, or I'll be screwed. And he's so cute. Isn't he cute, Carlos ?”
     "Yes, Jeff."
"You sound like him. So fucking polite. I love it when he calls me boss. Huh, chico ?"
     "Yes, boss."
"That's right, my little chico ! My lucky charm."
Everyone knew that Vaas loved chico. The pirates kinda laughed at her because of that, kindly. They could have been cruel, or jealous, but Y/N didn't really get any special treatment, and the boss was calmer since the arrival of the little guy, whom they really liked.
That didn't stop the jokes.
Some spoke of the fact that Vaas was in love. Y/N didn't believe it. It was just stupid remarks about the fact that two men couldn't be close in being gay. Vaas visited the whores of Bad Town. He wasn't looking at any man.
No, he was simply fascinated by his chico, nothing more.
Another joke, very amusing, was invented by Juan.
To tell Y/N that the boss was asking for old and very expensive bottles, abandoned in a cave that is difficult to access by sea, and that he wanted his chico to go get them.
It was not true.
Vaas hadn't asked for anything, and there were no bottles.
On the other hand, the cave was indeed difficult to access, and once inside, Y/N was unable to come out from where she had entered. She wandered the dark tunnels for hours, days.
There was no water. Her flashlight eventually died. And despite the fear of ending up like this, Y/N was still thinking of the bottles, and of Vaas who was waiting. So while looking for an exit, she looked for the imaginary bottles.
She only found an exit, after almost a week, having to climb against a wall, slipping several times, falling, breaking her fingers and a few ribs, but Y/N managed to get out.
First reflex, drink. Second reflex, find bottles. Any kind of bottle, before returning to camp.
It was almost as hard as getting in and out of the cave. The camp was far away. She was exhausted.
When she arrived, she didn't even notice the silence. The bodies near the door, including Juan's. Bullet and burn marks on the walls. Y/N didn't understand at all the looks and whispers of the other pirates when they saw her coming.
Vaas also looked at her weirdly, as she placed two bottles in front of him.
"Sorry, boss, I couldn't find your bottles." she muttered before trying to go to her little hiding place, to sleep. She fell after taking ten steps.
"Chico !" shouted a voice. "Chico, wake up ! Carlos, give me some water and call the doctor ! Chico, no, stay with me. My chico. Mi cielo."
Y/N was really too tired to move, or even open her eyes. She felt hands on her face, a mouth on hers, liquid in her throat, then nothing.
When she woke up, she didn't recognize the room she was in. Pink. It had been months since she'd seen that color, it wasn't a color that lasted long on Rook.
Children's toys. And Doctor Hernarch.
The good doctor, who made the good pills, according to Benny.
He sighed when Y/N tried to move, then when she realized that she no longer wore her bandana on her face, nor her bandage around her chest.
"Are you all right, young lady. Young man ? Vaas brought me a young pirate boy, and he still thinks I'm treating a young pirate boy. I haven't told him, and I won't tell him."
     "...  Thanks."
"Don't thank me. It's my job. You might have preferred not to wake up. He seems to like you very much. You hold his heart and his madness in your hands. He threatened me a lot, saying he'll kill me if you don't wake up. Maybe he'd like to know your secret, maybe not. Maybe it would be worse, for everyone. I won't say anything, rest."
Y/N lay down as long as possible, so no more than a few minutes, before jumping out of bed to get her things, and cover herself.
Then, holding her stomach, she went downstairs.
Like a lion in a cage, Vaas walked around the living room in a circle, biting his fingers until they bled. He often did this when he was nervous, or when he had taken too many drugs. It could be both. He looked really worried.
"Boss, your fingers." Y/N said, staying near the stairs.
     "Chico ? Chico !"
He ran over to hug her, kissing her neck, cheek and forehead over and over, muttering insults and tender words.
"Mi chico... Don't ever do that again. Ever ! Fucking Juan, motherfucker. He thought he was funny, and now he's used as fertilizer in my garden. Asshole ! I could have lost you because of him ! You shouldn't have listened to him, chico. I'm the one giving the orders, directly. You don't leave the camp without me anymore. I should put a leash on you."
     "Yes, boss."
"Ah, my chico. Always so polite, always so calm. You worried about my fingers ? It's okay, the doc is going to give me some meds, and you could kiss them better. We're going home !"
In the car, Carlos was silent, glancing at Y/N in the rear view mirror. At Vaas too, who refused to leave her, hugging her tightly. The big pirate had been worried too, for her, and for everyone, because during his absence, the boss had started to lose his head completely.
It was a miracle and a relief that she came back.
Purring, Vaas started rubbing against her again, smiling, repeating how happy he was that his chico had returned.
Y/N then thought that the doctor was not wrong. She held Vaas' madness in her hands, and perhaps his heart, and she couldn't decide if it was a good thing or not.
"I missed you, chico. I feel dead inside without you."
     "Me too, boss."
"Mi chico." he whispered, laying his head on her shoulder, relaxed at last.
She had answered to be polite, as always. But also because she meant it, and that too, she didn't know if it was a good thing or not.

Again I draw how father and son are hugging, but this time the father does not have a gun behind his back, THANK YOU (a reference to the fact that I drew a moment from the ending of FarCry6)
Before the spoilers I will write a "SPOILER", before that the text without spoilers
AAAAAAAAA I.. I have already spammed the entire offtop in VK and Twitter with emotions! I've never cried over a game so much in my life. Even over the last part of GoW, even over those games that I also immensely love. But the most important thing is that I have never cried SO much with happiness in my life. Not from grief, not from pain or fear. But from happiness and love. I've never experienced anything like this so much. My great respect to Santa Monica Studio.
Usually, when I like the game so much, I roll up a write of pages of criticism, (yes, you saw how I reviewed FarCry6 and the DLC for it), but here I surprisingly have nothing to say. With the exception of comments about the overload and prolongation of the game by events and too frequent monotonous battles. But these are just remarks, and not so weighty disadvantages that I drop the game. We have already joked with friends about some similar parallels between GoW and FC6, from dictatorship and uprisings, to character relationships, and agreed that GoW is an example of how it was necessary to build emotional cutscenes and the plot as a whole in FC6. Ubisoft, please learn. And of course it's a pity for the cut-out content with Sinmara. Thanks to her, Atreus could again evoke controversial feelings, show himself from an interesting side, and Kratos' words about the heart would play stronger. It would be possible to shorten any quests like collecting pear or going for the moon and thanks to this dont cut-out Sinmara, but we have what we have. After all, GoW is one of the most powerful, in my opinion, in terms of the concept and its artistic interpretation, the game. Scandinavian mythology is a very popular topic, but the way developers adapt it, intertwine the plot and gameplay, make incredible designs and environments, bright characters is priceless in the gaming industry.
And that's all I could say about criticism. And if I start to remember and look for all the little things, including replicas that I liked so much, then I really will roll 20 pages again, but I don't need it... So if you want to see how I yelled from certain points, they are in the twitter @TeronsCock and maybe I will still draw something. Moreover, I am already bursting with headcannons as I returned to Midgard 4 years later, not without the help of Heath or Tobeas, as always, and again went all this way and emotions with characters that I already missed from the last time. Well, this time my friends are with me, who can even nullify Kratos' patience :)
SPOILER NEXT
Another note - I've also never cried in my life from the fact that the character just stayed alive I had previously jumped with happiness and screamed like hell when Vaas turned out to be alive, when Pagan did not die in the end. But that's exactly CRYING so hard, this is the first time.. Literally since 2018, I've been waiting for Kratos to die, all the characters have been waiting and afraid, and we're with them, and in the end I'm just.... AAAAAAA I haven't seen such a happy ending even in a Disney movie ..... I just love these characters and the game

Hello readers and welcome to my multi-fandom blog. My name is Sugar; however, I don’t mind being called Disenchanted. To make navigating the content on here better, I decided to put out one large masterlist in hopes that none of the older stories are buried. Let me know if a link isn’t working and I’ll do my best to fix it.
How to navigate the masterlist: each one of the stories will be under a category; video games, anime/manga, movies and TV shows. This should make it easy to locate what you’re looking for. And the masterlist will be posted in two sections; Major and Minor. The Major section will have my current work and the Minor category will feature my other work.
Warning(s): the content below might be mature or explicit, so if you are not 18 and up, then my blog is not for you. Some content may even have dark themes, but I assure you all NSFW material is consensual.
Also, some stories may not be complete. I don't like to abandon fics, so eventually, I do plan to return to them. I occasionally take requests but they take me a terrible amount of time to finish, so if you are impatient, please don't ask.

The Song of Yearning
Prologue
Aditha Karikalan sighed, and reread the scroll from Kundavai.
Anna,
There is a lot going on in Tanjai, other than the conspiracies that have become all too common. Even Sembian Patti is despairing about the behaviour of our younger brother when it comes to marriage. While I am quite sure he does feel something for my thozhi Vanathi, he refuses to admit it, under the false thought that she wants the throne. Your friend from the Vana clan only strengthened this belief with words that came out of some assumption, rather than from Vanathi herself.
Aditha rubbed his brow, frowning. Vanthiyadevan was not the type to just assume, so was it Kundavai who had not seen the truth, or had Vanthiyadevan been fooled by something else?
I am not blaming him as much as stating a fact- but the truth of it all is that Vanathi was going to swear a vow of not sitting on the Chola throne if by some chance she married Arulmozhi. But Arulmozhi’s arrival itself put a stop to it, and none of us have breathed a word about it to him.
This was where he had been caught in disbelief.
The Princess had no interest in the throne of the massive Chola empire, and was ready to swear an oath for it?
He might change his mind then, but I strongly feel Vanathi deserves to be cherished by whomever she marries, be he Arulmozhi or not. Anna, I have long wished for the marriage of two of those I love the most in this world, the two who I have nurtured myself. If you could see them together, you will understand why I am so insistent.
And this was what Kundavai still hoped from him, for him.
Anna, I am so disappointed with everything that is going on, and feel the need to have you by my side.
Will you please come here to Tanjai for some time?
For this sister of yours?
And for Arulmozhi, her hidden words seemed to say. Aditha nodded to himself, realizing that maybe his presence at Tanjai would help not just his siblings, but also his parents.
I hope to see you soon.
With all the love,
Your younger sister,
Kundavai
He smiled softly, feeling his sister’s affection fill him.
It was time.
Time to return home.
*******************
Kundavai was restless, waiting for a scroll from her elder brother.
Vanathi was seated by her side, completely silent, sending yearning looks still at Arulmozhi, who had his sparkle whenever he looked at Vanathi, though he and Vanthiyadevan seemed to be spending a lot of time with Poonkuzhali.
Maybe she should speak to Periya Velar about hosting a Svayamvara for Vanathi… that may actually work. And if her hope was right, Aditha Anna will be in Tanjai soon, and he would convince Arulmozhi, something only he was capable of in the manner that was required.
“Akka? Akka?”
She looked at Arulmozhi, who was looking at her concerned. She shook her head and smiled at him, before turning to Vanathi, “Vaa, kanne. Let us go to our boat. I want to hear you sing for me again.”
“Akka…”
Vanathi said softly.
“Come. I have missed your nightingale voice,” Kundavai insisted. “It is my fortune that you sing as often as you do for me. I want to hear more.”
“Thangal kattalai, Akka, ( As you wish, akka)” Vanathi said, making to stand as Kundavai also did, when a guard came running in.
Everyone’s eyes turned to the guard, questioning expressions adorned.
“Ilaya Piratti, Ilavarase, Yuvarajar Aditha Karikalan Tanjai nokki vandhuvittar (The crown Prince has almost reached Tanjai). He will be here soon, with his large army.”
Kundavai could not help but smile widely when she heard those words. She grabbed Vanathi in her arms and twirled with her, once the guard left. Vanathi laughed in surprise, making Kundavai smile wider.
“Kanne, I told you Anna will come, did I not?”
“You did, Akka,” Vanathi replied, her smile soft and sweet, like it often was when trained on Kundavai.
“Now I can finally introduce you to him. Come come. Let us go prepare. Thambi, you too should prepare, along with the Vana warrior.”
Kundavai swept out, holding Vanathi’s hand and dragging her quickly, leaving an extremely stupefied Arulmozhi, who felt confusion regarding Kundavai’s announcement.

Is this an AU? Yes, yes it is.
@vibishalakshman and I discussed this as something humorous, but it turned into a combination- anyway, here is the Prologue.

Ok Mint but hear me out... how would the main far cry villains react to finding out their crush is actually their respective protag’s girl? Or vice versa if that’s more interesting
Now this is the good shiiit. Even more chaotic: imagine any of these clowns as a protective sibling/parent dealing with a Yandere protagonist. I did the mainline antagonists for now but if you like Mickey/Lou or another Seed etc lmk.
The Jackal
(In this case, I went with Marty Alencar as the protagonist)
- An active war zone in a malaria ridden country doesn’t make the ideal place for romance. But alas, he’s enamoured the second he encounters you.
- He makes a point of taking more detours- subtly pointing you in the direction of conveniently forgotten supply drops and maybe, if he’s feeling very generous, a stray diamond that slipped from the pockets of one of the guards.
- He fully planned to try and start something with you when timing was right- though, as per usual, that baby faced merc came and stirred up trouble.
- What was it? His recklessness and willingness to play hero or villain as long as the price was right? Perhaps you even saw the little mud boxes where he and his fellow sellouts hid as homely. How pathetic.
- It was when he saw the two of you lazily taking in the moonlight by Mike’s Bar that he felt his heart lurch in a way once lost. The watered down beer in your hands, the affectionate nip to the younger male’s sun bitten nose... he was disgusted not by the act, but the receiver.
- Alencar seemed to have luck on his side; he may have bested malaria, an attempted assassination attempt and all else this country threw at him, but those times were over.
- There were no rules out here. Everything and everyone was fair game; this was his world, one sure way of proving that would be to show him who could properly guide you through it. Who better to traverse the flames with, than the man responsible for keeping them lit?
Vaas
- You poor thing, so jittery and fearful even when he’s told you time and time again that he had no intention of popping a bullet in you. Nor did he intend to let you go for that matter, but beggars couldn’t be choosers.
- But when Jason Brody- Snow White... whatever you wanted to call the bastard showed up to play hero? He joined the dots immediately.
- If this yankee clown honestly thought he was going to part with his soulmate, then he was even stupider than he was annoying.
- Vaas will use this to his advantage of course. A way to spite him. He’d never dare lay a hand in you (not in any way that you wouldn’t enjoy of course) but Jason doesn’t know that.
- He’ll set traps, use you as bait that your lover boy will never be able to take.
- Each time he sees you, Vaas will ensure a nice few sets of hickeys are visible on your neck to really drive it home.
Pagan Min
- Part of him rues his own hospitality. He cared for the little whelp, but he definitely needed to learn his place.
- You charmed him the moment he saw you but alas, the life of a king meant courtship took time he didn’t have with petty uprisings and all.
- Ajay slipped right past him and caught you before he had the chance. One of his many guards (ordered to ‘keep an eye’ on you of course) notes the two of you embracing rather passionately in your little Banapur lodge.
- Pagan will have Ajay thrown in prison, just for one night, to be sure he’s learnt his lesson.
- You’ll of course be staying in his palace; not an invitation, but a gilded command.
- If you have any ambitions of returning back home with Ajay or anyone other than him, it’d be best if you vanquished them now.
Joseph Seed
- He had high hopes for you; for your shared future. You would fall into place eventually, it was god’s will for you to be together.
- So, when news spreads of that troublesome deputy somehow tainting you’re judgement and attempting to love you, he very quickly sped up his planning.
- You’ll be knocked out, a bliss covered rag subduing you whilst Jacob and his assistants took care of your favourite sinner.
- Joseph will wake you up personally; a gentle binding keeping you from struggling away from his guiding words and touches.
- ‘My love, my light... you lost your way... your destiny to wrath but I’ll help you find it again’
Anton Castillo
- Like pagan, he became preoccupied with current troubles and presidential duties.
- But he always kept tabs on you; letting you explore his island with false freedom in the hopes you’d understand his vision.
- It was when he received urgent news from one of his soldiers that you had been seen in a far too comfortable state next to Rojas.
- It seemed they were intent on toppling every last bit of all he had worked to build (including his plans of wedding you).
- However, he wasn’t going to rush in recklessly. He’ll use this to his advantage; kidnap you, hold you and lure Rojas and as many guerillas as possible before ‘taking care’ of your pursuers.
- It’ll be your fault they were killed, technically. Why let it go to waste? Enjoy his company. There’s no doubt he’ll treat you well; absolve yourself of guilt and embrace it.
- ‘Rojas loved you, but did they deserve it? Did they manage to bring you home? No, only I did.’

@badtrigger : Day by day she grows, and Santiago adores every moment of it. He had not ever imagined he would father any children, and to be having two on the way? His mind is still trying to wrap itself around that. Twins. They'll certainly have their hands full. He comes to lay on his side in the bed, moves to rest his temple in his hand and his free palm against her belly (every time with the silly hope he might feel the kick of little feet.) "I've been thinking more. What do you think about 'Monte' for one of them?" He tests the waters, watches her face for change. This name Santiago had thought long and hard about, about what it means to him, about how it might make her feel. They had both lost the same man. Watched him lose himself in his final days with Los Piratas. Santiago still thinks about him all the time. As much as he would like to give a hundred percent to the present, to Brianne and this new life they are laying the foundation for, his brother is always somewhere there at the back of his mind. But it's a happier, cheekier version of him, of Vaas, because that's how Santo prefers to remember his brother as. Not as the delusional, tormented man fighting an unwinnable war in his own mind. "I know he was not always the kindest. He was difficult. Very difficult. But.. he was like family. There was no one else like him." No one else like Montenegro. // wonderfully random asks ( always accepting ) ᠂ ⚘ ˚
She loves it, Santiago’s penchant to touch her growing bump, seeing it as an outward expression of their future sons being on his mind as they are on hers. More change awaits them, more settling into this quieter domestic life, to building a family into their future, and putting the stress of their past behind them. Among deciding what nursery furniture, baby carriers, and diaper creams to purchase, the ongoing discussion is naming these twin boys.
It takes a second to register where the name he suggests comes from, and then — Montenegro, Vaas’ last name. With it, eyes bright with anticipation and a smile that’s curious drops under the need for solemn remembrance, to the mourning they both carry on for this man they lost.
What would it mean to her to honor him by bestowing this name to one of their sons?
Vaas was a man she loved in her own delusional way. Not for love that could be returned or a love untarnished by shame and fear, and perhaps only held onto by pity and a foolish belief he needed her more than just for her money and body. She does not always like who she was with Vaas, who she had to be at times to appease him, or the feeling of being trapped in his cage that ironically ended up protecting her. But without him, Santiago would not be in her life as he is now. Everything happens for a reason, they often say. Maybe only in this, she chooses to believe it.
Her hand reaches towards her husband's face, her fingers lightly gliding up the length of his strong jawline before resting her palm against his cheek. A searching gaze locks onto his brown eyes, under it a smile that's doleful in its thoughtfulness. A moment is taken for her hand to seep in his perpetual warmth. Softly she speaks. “He was your brother. And I believe he saw you the same.”
Santiago was always a fixture in Vaas’ conversations. Yes, as his righthand man who managed all the gang’s ongoings, but more than that. He was someone whose advice Vaas would actually follow, someone he trusted, and someone he loved like family. For all the man's difficult tendencies, she knows that was not all he was. His smile, mischievous usually, could still so often bring one out of her. He could make her forget her troubles for a brief period of time. He was there when she had no one else to fall on. For good or bad, he means more to her than he probably deserved.
“I like it. Monte. And it would go really well with Miguel. Two m’s.” Their other thought was to pass on Santiago’s middle name. A perfect pair, and one that would hold meaning and memory. Vaas should not be forgotten. “Monte and Miguel.”

Well, is there more Vaas in the Lacho universe? We are always happy about it. A bit silly but an obsessive thing that asks to come out.
Lalo returned to the hacienda after another meeting with the bosses in a friendly mood, whistling some old song that only he knows. Going into the kitchen for a beer he found his husband looking for something in the refrigerator. Ignacio bent down in such a way that it would be a crime not to slap this ass. Who would have resisted at all? So, having completed his mission and even forgetting about the beer, Lalo went to the living room where he found Nacho watching TV. It made him freeze in place, the gears in his head refused to spin.
— Uh, who.. Who's in our kitchen?
Ignacio suddenly started up, getting up from the sofa.
— Oh, you're back already? I'm sorry, darling, that I didn't warn you. I invited my cousin to visit us. Let me introduce you.
Entering the kitchen they found Vaas sharpening a knife with a crazy smile on his face.

Tale As Old As Time... (Part 3)
I actually really enjoyed writing this chapter, and I hope you guys like reading it, we have Jai’s POV this time. But man, however shiny a first draft may look, it looks guady when you go back for editing. That is, I may have hyped this chapter a bit, and now am slightly nervous of whether it will live up to the hype.
But the more I write of this story, the clearer the future of it becomes (and the more sprawling, god help me).
I hope everyone got to see the gorgeous cover created by @burningsheepcrown, which can be found here, and the breathtaking piece made by @stuckyandlarrystuff, here.
Onto Part 3...

///
Kaaka was shouting at him as he sipped at his wine, leaning against the column, watching at the princess being led away. Watching as his new…guest followed her, still wearing such a brave mask. Still thinking he would eventually get a chance to leave.
“-what could that boy possibly be worth-” Kaaka found himself being slammed against the wall by the throat, legs struggling even as Jai looked at him with amusement and continued drinking.
“Raa…vaa..na,” he choked out, and Jai dropped him. Kaaka panted as he tried to catch his breath, clutching at his throat.
“Am I your king, Kaaka?” Jai mused.
“Of course.” came the immediate response.
“Do you think I have lost my se-senses?”
“I… no, Raavana.”
“Then do not question my decisions. I co-consider you to be my most trusted advisor. I let you ta-take liberties with me and my ruling that no one else is permitted. Do not mi-s-s-stake that trust for blin-dness or ignorance.”
“But Raavana,” Kaaka protested, and honestly, he was one of the few souls who could get away with questioning him so directly, “Why would you let not one, but two royals go, all for a single soldier? If you have need of bedwarmers, I could find you as many as you wished.”
Jai smirked as he downed the rest of the wine. He could make out a commotion as the city gates were opened. What was that soldier thinking? Would he try to make a run for it?
“I did not let them go because I wanted a who-whore Kaaka. I let them go because they are nuis-s-sances, and that snivelling rat, he revealed far more dangerous information about his kingdom than even he realizes. If we had kept the prince and princess, then-then rescue parties would have continued to fall at our door. I do not have the time to deal with the tri-trivial groups of men. Our resources would be better spent in letting the kings think they can negotiate with me. The re-re-release of their heirs would paint me as … reasonable. They would not s-s-suspect me till too late. Besides we already have two brats we are taking care of. I did not want to double that number.”
He turned to see Kaaka, who was looking at him with naked admiration and pride. He bowed at the waist. “Raavana, forgive me.”
“But?” Jai prodded as he placed his goblet on the sill of the balcony railing.
“Why keep the boy then? Are you going to throw him in the dungeons?”
Jai shrugged. “We will see. There is something…intriguing about him. He didn’t flinch when he looked me in the e-e-eye. I want to see how far his bravery goes.”
“So…?”
“Take him to the guest room in the wes-s-stern tower, ensure it is fully stocked. And leave him there. Watch him without his-s knowing. I am curious what the little soldier will do.”
Kaaka opened his mouth like he wanted to say something, but Jai’s stare quietened him. He bowed. “As you wish, Maharaj.”
Kaaka left, informing one of the servant’s of the king’s wishes as he went to greet the returning party.
Jai stepped back into the shadows. The soldier’s fists were curled, but he kept his head down. Jai frowned. He didn’t want the soldier to bend his head for anyone but him.
He followed him with his eyes as the man disappeared into the palace with Kaaka.
///
Jai left the  soldier to stew in his room. He ensured he wanted for nothing.
Kaaka reported about the man pacing the room, exploring the clothes and jewellery that had been placed there. About how he had taken to scribbling at the desk.
On the fourth day, he reported the man had stopped eating, and Jai frowned. He wanted the man to crack but not like this. Not because it was caused by hunger.
He told Kaaka to invite him for dinner.
///
Jai settled into the upper alcove, a secret niche meant for guards to protect the rulers from danger while hidden. He watched as the soldier hesitated at the door. Followed him as he tentatively took a seat. Let his voice wash over him.
He really was an extraordinary specimen, the more he looked at him.
His hand tightened when he spied the ruby pendant the man had worn. Of all the priceless pieces Jai had left him, he had to go for that old trinket. He hadn’t realized it had mixed in there at all. But there Kala Bhairava was, wearing it all on his own.
Jai desperately wanted to know why he chose that piece.
///
Jai did not examine the fact his dreams had started to be haunted by him. Writing, screaming, crying. Nor the fact that body was now always wearing the same damn locket each time.
He did not want to think about why he was starting to want to know the man. Why was his mind so set on him? Why was he so distracted by this stranger? What was so captivating about this ordinary soldier?
///
The soldier started eating again. And he had apparently tried to speak with the servants. He was still pacing, a tiger caught in a cage and knowing there is no escape.
Kaaka asked him what the point of the dinners were. Jai did not reply. He did not owe Kaaka anything more than was necessary for the advisor to carry out his duties properly.
Besides, he had two headaches of his own that he had to handle in the meantime.
///
It was ten days before Jai decided to actually dine with his guest. He sent Kaaka away, instructing him that he should not be disturbed under anything but the direst circumstances.
He sat at his place, another silk black kurta paired with black pyjamas. He wore his standard jewellery, his two serpent headed anklets, his thick golden arm cuffs. His long chain and his short one. His royal ring, topped with a ruby so red, it looked like someone had trapped blood inside it. He scratched at the diamond topped ear cuff.
He kept his gaze fixed on the door, sipping at the wine from his goblet. He licked his lips as he heard footsteps approaching.
There he was. Kala Bhairava.
The soldier stumbled, clearly surprised by Jai’s presence. Good. Someone off guard was someone less able to think of a lie.
He didn’t fall though, catching himself at the last second and making his way to Jai’s side.
He was nervous, but he hid it well. If Jai had not been so focused on him, he may have missed the shiver that passed him when he settled at Jai’s side. He kept his head down, hands clenched in fists on his lap. Now that wouldn’t do.
“It is polite to greet one’s ho-ho-hosts when one joins them for dinner.”
The soldier stiffened before forcing himself to look at Jai. Jai’s eyes focused on the way his throat undulated as he swallowed, wondering if it would be soft under his teeth. Would it bruise easily?
He dragged his gaze up slowly, making no effort to hide his intentions. The soldier’s mouth was slightly parted, the lower lip glistening slightly, pink and inviting.
Jai licked his lips absentmindedly, only to curl curling his hand into a fist when the soldier mimicked the gesture absentmindedly. He wanted to bite that lip.
“I-that- Forgive me Maharaj.” Kala Bhairava responded, shifting his gaze to the empty table again.
Jai kept his gaze fixed on him as the servants entered the hall, dismissing everyone once the plates had been served. He sipped more wine.
“Is the food not to your liking?”
“Maharaj?”
“There is a veritable feast in front of you. And yet you are more interested in your palms.”
“No, I-”
“If I sat here the full night, feeling s-s-sated and plate untouched, would you sit there while your stomach clenched from hunger?”
Kala Bhairava gaped at him. Jai smirked.
“Eat, Kala Bhairava.”
The soldier’s hand reached for the food-laden plate, his gaze darting between it and Jai the whole while. Still unsure if this was a trap or test, and whether eating would mean losing.
Jai licked his lips again as Kala Bhairava ate his first bite, feeling a curl of something dark in his belly as the rich taste on his tongue caused the soldier’s eyelashes to flutter.
Jai sat up suddenly, startling his dinner companion. He drank more of his wine, still paying more attention to the man next to him than the food on his plate. He noticed every time Kala Bhairava’s eyes skipped to him, and how quickly they darted back when he was caught in Jai’s gaze.
Jai reached out for the wine jug, refilling his goblet and filling his guest’s. “Try this.”
“I-uh. I’m not one for wines, Maharaj.” Kala Bhairava said, voice low.
Jai’s eyes narrowed. “Afraid I’ll do something to you? I am not that type of monster, Kala Bhairava.”
“What?” Kala Bhairava choked out as his head whipped up to meet Jai’s. “No-no, that’s not.”
Jai’s lips snarled as he slammed his fist, the soldier frozen to his seat as he stared wide eyed at him. “I have enough cowards and opportunistic rats crawling inside my walls, Kala Bhairava. I have no need for a simpering fool or a scared idiot. If my judgement of you was mistaken, tell me. Spare us both a waste of time.”
For a minute, Jai thought the soldier would back down, would prove himself to have been ordinary after all. That his mind had taken a momentary fancy and blown it out of proportion.
Kala Bhairava’s eyes flashed with a spark of anger as he drew himself up.
Jai held his breath, a curl of anticipation wrapping around his heart.
“I came here of my own free will. You proposed a deal and I said yes. I have obeyed every order you have given so far and stayed locked in my cage with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs till you decide to summon me to dinners you have not even bothered to show up at.” Kala Bhairava said in a tightly controlled voice that dripped with a venom that promised to burn. “You hold a threat over my kingdom that you yourself have said is entirely dependent on your mood. And I have borne it all with as much dignity as I could muster, restraining myself from questioning your servants or your advisors. It does not make me a fool or coward to think of my actions in front of a king whose name has become synonymous with tyrant!”
By the time he was done Kala Bhairava was halfway up from his seat, fists clenched on the tabletop as his chest heaved. His cheeks were flushed and his body trembled with barely contained rage.
Jai wanted to eat him alive. This magnificent creature, even braver than he could have hoped, so self-righteous and honorable and captivating. He kept his face blank, another layer of restraint as he willed himself not to drag the other man onto his lap.
No.
He would wait.
Wait till Kala Bhairava himself begged Jai for permission to sit on his lap.
He leaned back in his seat, drumming his fingers on the table. “Bravo. Anything else you want to get off your chest?”
That seemed to bring the man crashing back to earth, as all the blood drained from his face and he fell onto his cushions.
“Come on now, don’t pretend you are scared, after that speech of yours.” Jai taunted.
Kala Bhairava’s chest was still heaving. The ruby pendent bumped against his sternum with each breath. “Maharaj…”
Jai snorted. “Spare me. We both know you don’t respect me enough to do that title any justice.”
The soldier looked lost. Jai circled a finger around the rim of his goblet. “Have you ever tasted wine?”
The soldier averted his eyes. He had. Jai wondered if the wine would taste better if he drank it from Kala Bhairava’s lips. He wondered if they would add a sweetness to their taste.
“Hmm.” Jai hummed. “Each cup is different. Some are sweet. Some sour, and some too bitter. But the good ones, the good ones linger on your tongue for a long time after. They don’t inhibit you so much as make the world around you tolerable.”
“The world has not been intolerable to me.” Kala Bhairava replied quietly.
Jai let out a harsh laugh, and downed the whole cup. “You were born under a lucky star then.”
He stood up, one fluid motion as he drew himself to his full height, sending the soldier fumbling to get up from the soft cushions. He stopped him. “It is rude to leave a plate half eaten.”
“Yours is untouched.” The soldier replied.
Jai’s eyebrow rose. “Perhaps I had already had my supper.”
“Then you would not have allowed the servants to serve you a plate.” The soldier argued back.
“Oh?”
“You, this palace, I may be a mere soldier but I have seen my fair share of the houses of rich people. This place is not one brimming with useless luxuries and decorative nonsense. Everything has a function and nothing is wasted. They say houses reflect their masters. Even you-”
Jai’s curiosity was growing by the second. Who was this man who spoke so freely with him? Was he so stupid? Or was he so honest he could not see why his words could get him killed. Jai wanted to hear him talk more. “Me?”
Kala Bhairava’s eyes were defiant as they rose to meet Jai’s. “Your majesty, for all your wealth and power, you dress in simple attire, expensive but not gaudy. Your jewellery is practical, and the others I have seen in the palace, as well as outside its walls. This kingdom seems to value the joy of comfort over flashiness.”
For the first time since they met, Jai felt like he was the one on uneven footing. Even cooped up in a room isolated from the palace, all alone for ten days, and the man had managed to garner so much information about a man he hadn’t even seen. This man was dangerous.
He moved like a viper, entangling his fingers into that gorgeous mane of hair, and fisting it till he could pull it back so the man was forced to practically bend over backwards to meet Jai’s eyes. The man gasped but stayed quiet. Jai ran a delicate finger down Kala Bhairava’s throat. “Do not forget that you are at my mercy Kala Bhairava. You may have found your voice but I suggest you learn to temper your words.”
“A king who refuses to hear honest words is a foolish king, who will sooner be taken advantage of or killed.” Kala Bhairava gritted out.
Jai bared his teeth in a mimicry of a smile as he pulled Kala Bhairava’s head further back, causing the man to grunt. “Are you calling me a fool?”
“No. Not a fool. But you are stubborn, and reckless. You have a soldier at your feet, and you are so focused on his words and face, you forget to pay attention to his hands.”
Jai stiffened as he felt a sharp tip pierce through his tunic. The bastard had grabbed a knife and was pressing it to Jai’s stomach. But he didn’t actually stab Jai.
“Why not kill me?”
“Because if you die, then your advisor will launch a war and my people will die.”
Jai hauled him up by the hair, the movement abrupt enough to make him yelp and drop his knife. “What do you think you are doing here Kala Bhairava?”
The soldier looked him straight in the eye, steely-eyed. “I was expecting you would tell me, Maharaj. What am I doing here? What am I supposed to be? Guest or slave or concubine? Or is this just a game you play, toying with your prisoners, luring them till they feel safe and then killing them for your amusement.”
Jai snarled, releasing his hair as he stepped away. “Finish your dinner.”
Jai walked away, feeling a sharp gaze following his every step. He would need to reevaluate his strategy. And his assessment. There was more lion in the soldier than he had expected.
A thrill went down his spine at the thought of taming it for himself.

The XEi Webcomic - A New LGBTQIAP+ Sci-Fi/Fantasy and More Upcoming Webcomic!
Tumblr media
Rating: 16-18+
I thought I would share some information about my webcomic! Please note I am not a professional artist and my updates on the webcomic is varied, but I hope you will enjoy anyway!
The XEi Webcomic is my first ever full webcomic project, and is going to feature sci-fi, fantasy, romance, action and other themes! There will be LGBTQIAP+ characters, neurodivergent and disabled characters, and much more, such as aliens, mythical beings, superheroes and robots! Here is a summary of the webcomic’s main focus:
Set in 2042, the XEi is an alien government that has taken over a large portion of the galaxy and has colonised a large amount of dimensions and planets. Their main goal is to obtain as much of the universe as possible, by recruiting worthy creatures to work for them and to colonise more places for their people to live and work from. The story focuses on three characters; Axel Drous, Tüun Vik, and Vaa'Spark. Axel was originally an ordinary human boy, but after an encounter with a group of unidentified aliens abducting and experimenting on him, he became the XEi’s first metahuman employee. He uses his bodysuit and emotion-shifting dial to switch between forms and use the powers of the alien creatures he turns into. Tüun is from a race of humanoid, buglike aliens called ‘Scvorpons’ and is an ex-criminal who was employed by the XEi in an effort to clear his name. Vaa'Spark is a cyborg, who used to be a human much like Axel, but was taken by the XEi hundreds of years ago and fitted with technology, while erasing her memories and giving her the name 'V11.VAA-SPA'RK1.’ She works hard for the XEi, but is determined to one day regain her memories so she can return to her old life. Axel meets Vaa'Spark not long after being recruited by the XEi, and she becomes a mother figure to him as she shows how their system works and what each role in their government does. The two end up assigned to rescue Tüun, who was breaking into one of the colony buildings and had set the area on fire during break-in. After Axel comforts Tüun and tries to get him to see a better light, the bug decides it’s a good opportunity to clear his criminal status and assigns to work alongside Axel and Vaa'Spark.
Here are the three main characters!
Tumblr media
Axel Drous (He/him)

Fucking fate - part 2
Vaas x soulmate reader are back
Tumblr media
Y/N had been living in a pirate camp on Rook Island with her psycho soulmate for two months when a group of natives attacked and some hostages offered her to come with them, taking advantage of the panic to escape.
They knew who she was, but they considered that it wasn't her fault, that she was unlucky, and that she deserved to be free.
Two months was not enough to develop Stockholm Syndrome, as Y/N agreed to follow them almost immediately.
It was only later, after several days in the jungle and when they had found a boat, that she hesitated.
On the way, they had heard some conversations, hidden in the bushes. The pirates were terribly talkative.
"Did you hear what happened at the central camp ?"
"Yeah. Fucking rakyats. Francisco is dead. He was selling the best shit, too bad."
"I was thinking more of Vaas' mate. She disappeared."
     "He must not be happy."
"Not happy ? He was already mad, but now he completely lost his mind. He killed all the hostages, and the guards who survived the attack. He ordered that they searched everywhere for her, and as long as he doesnt have any news, he goes around in circles in the camp, hitting those who are not looking."
"He knows she's already dead, right ? The jungle must have eaten her."
"I know. But it's his mate, man. Shit, he needs hope. When we find the body, he's going to be impossible. Whoever brings the news will probably be hanged. If he just doesn't burn the whole island."
Y/N tried not to think about it as the others got the boat ready to go home. It wasn't her problem what would happen here after she left. She had been kidnapped, she had seen people being tortured and killed, and she deserved to return to a normal life.
Even if it meant rejecting her soulmate.
Except that while he wasn't perfect, not perfect at all, Vaas wasn't that terrible.
It was weird to say, because he was crazy. He was dangerous. He was doing the worst things in the world. And yet, with her, Vaas could be adorable. A tiger that was turning into a little cat, purring against her.
He hadn't hit her, not once. He was even upset when she was afraid of him. He also didn't shout, whereas Vaas shouted a lot at others. He always asked her if she was ok with doing something. Yes, he naturally made it sound like it was a bad idea to tell him no, but Y/N had told him no several times anyway, and Vaas had simply nodded, accepting the answer without further ado.
"You know, mi corazon. You're the best thing that ever happened to me." he had said one evening, while cuddling her in bed. "It's true. I had a shitty life. A shitty family, a shitty sister. A shitty job. Yeah, I like having fun with people, but it's still shitty. I'm drinking, being high and kicking idiots every day. Even my beloved island has become bland over time, controlled by an asshole and populated by tattooed morons. Then you came, mi amor, mi vida. I waited for you my whole life. I'm so happy."
He sounded so sincere that Y/N couldn't not believe him. He had told her what her sister had done to him.
When he had been pissed off that she was talking to his men, not liking her getting out of his crip, she had used it against him, quite deceitfully.
"You or them, right, Vaas ? Right ? You or them ?!"
He had looked at her. He understood very well what she meant. He had wondered if he was becoming like his sister, if he was doing to her what she had done to him. So he hit a wall, smashing his hand, before leaving. The pirates, frightened, had avoided him.
Y/N felt bad. She had followed him, she had apologized, taking his bloody hand, trying to hug him, to kiss him, to bring him back because he seemed very far away. He let her do what she wanted, listening to her excuses, then following her back to camp without saying anything, like a child.
To cheer him up, she had cooked, she had put on his favorite movie, she had put on some music and invited him to dance with her, and after a long time, he had sighed, with a tired smile, accepting to join her, laughing together.
Her soulmate wasn't perfect. He had a lot of problems, and it was impossible for him to change, since the situation on the island wouldn't change either. But above all he was a broken man, alone, lost, who needed her.
Most of the little moments they had spent together were happy.
Maybe two months was enough to develop Stockholm Syndrome after all.
Several voices were heard behind her, as Y/N ran along the beach, then through the jungle, looking for the nearest pirate camp. It wasn't easy, as he often said Vaas's men were a bit stupid, but she approached with her hands up, saying she was his mate.
Since they had all heard of the attack, they were very careful with her, calling their leader right away.
When she arrived at the central camp, Y/N noticed two things.
The place was in a terrible state, and no one had started the repairs, probably too busy looking for her, not to be killed.
And Vaas didn't seem happy to see her.
He said nothing, his eyes blank, simply thanking his men for bringing her back. Then he ordered Carlos to take her to his room, bringing her something to eat, before going to fetch the doctor to check that she was not injured.
For several days, he seemed to avoid her like the plague. It was hurtful. Y/N could have left, she might already be in her country, with her loved ones, but no, she had chosen him, and that was how he thanked her.
She tried to talk to him, but it was a disaster.
"If you're not happy here, you didn't have to come back, nena." he hissed, playing with his gun. "You could go see my sister. Find a cabin near the beach. Swim to shore."
"I'm just saying you act like a fool."
"Oh, a fool ? Me ? That's probably true. I was stupid enough to think everything was fine, but one day, poof, you have the opportunity to leave, and you leave. You leave ! You leave me !"
"But I came back !" she cried, starting to get scared, because it was the first time he had raised his voice with her.
"She came back ! She came back ! Great ! Welcome back, hermosa ! I have work to do now, leave me the fuck alone !"
It was too much. Y/N went crying with rage in a corner of the camp, far from everyone, while Vaas continued to shout at his men. Maybe she should have left. Maybe she still could.
Pushing a crate against the wall, she jumped over it, walking quietly away from the camp to the beach, where she sat down to think. Could she really swim to shore ? Vaas had probably said that in jest, he had warned her about the sharks. Maybe he wanted her to be eaten. He didn't really seem to care.
     "I found her, jefe !"
Or not.
Y/N recognized the voice of Carlos, Vaas' right-hand man. There were several footsteps, then mumbles, and finally a single person who came to sit next to her.
"Nena, come back to camp. You scared us, that's not nice."
"I'm staying here. You don't want me on your side anyway."
"Mi corazon..." he sighed. "You know very well why I am angry."
"No, I don't know. I mean, yes I left. It was chaos, and I didn't want to die. But I came back, you should be happy."
"But you had no choice, right amor ? I guess your friends died, or you lost them in the jungle, and you thought 'Damn, what do I do now ? Oh, I know, I'm going to go back to Vaas, that idiot Vaas. He adores me, he never refuses me anything, he's my bitch, he can't live without me, he's going to take me back.' And of course I'll take you back, because I'm really an idiot, and I love you more than anything hermosa, but it hurts. It really hurts, shit."
After that, Y/N finally stopped sobbing, continuing to watch the ocean. He was stupid and angry, but not for the reasons they both thought.
     "The others took a boat."
     "... What ?"
"We found a boat. I left before they started it, but I guess they're home now. Or drowned. I don't know. But they were fine when I left. When I decided to leave. To return to the camp."
To return with you. Because I wanted to.
Vaas stared at her for a long time, before rubbing his face and then his skull, visibly embarrassed.
     "Damn, nena... I'm an asshole."
     "Yes."
"You came back... Shit. You're as stupid as me."
"Excuse me ?" she was indignant, finally looking at him, annoyed.
"I thought you had no choice, but you chose me. Me ! Me, and this shitty island, and this shitty life, when you could have left, been safe, happy, found a good guy, and have a great life. I would have understood. But no, me ? Shit. I'm super happy right now. I feel like my heart is going to explode. Can I kiss you ?"
     "Go to hell."
"Come back to camp with me, tesoro." he whispered in her ear, his eyes sparkling, his hands hugging her tightly. "I was an asshole, sorry."
Vaas was not perfect. He knew it and he knew that she knew it. Even though he did his best to make her feel good and have everything she wanted, he understood why she had disappearred, he would have understood if she had left the island, and he couldn't imagine that she came back of her own free will.
"You're as crazy as me, aren't you nena ? Mi nena. Mi mejor mitadn mi media naranja."
"Fine, we're going home." she muttered, feeling a little too hot between the sun and Vaas kissing her again and again on the neck while purring words of love in Spanish.
No doubt he was right, and she was just as crazy as he was, but it was fucking fate after all, and she had accepted it.

Could we get Vaas sending Liv out of the camp because of Hoyt coming down. She goes out to see the doc and gets some pictures of him and his home. Cue Vaas getting jealous of her pictures of Doc!
A/n: thank you, hun, for sending me this. I had fun writing it. I hope you enjoy it.
Warning(s): Vaas being Vaas (albeit a bit tame), mentions of drugs, language, jealousy.
No Minors Allowed!!
"Hoyt is coming here? Why?" Liv asked, raising a curious brow.
She tried not to let it show, but she was terrified. Since meeting him, she never wanted to be put in a situation where she'd have to see him again, but of course, things didn't always work out the way she wanted them to - her new life on the Rook Islands was an example of this.
Carlos sighed. He understood her worry, he didn't much like Hoyt or his Privateers, but her questions were unnecessary.
"It doesn't fucking matter. We're not going to be here."
Liv was more confused than ever, but as if the pirate knew what she was about to ask, he quickly answered.
"El Jefe (the boss) is sending us on a run to the doctor's house."
This must be a drug run.
The only time Vaas sent someone to Doctor Earnhardt's place was to buy drugs from him, though Liv never went to see him for that reason. She wondered if Vaas was sending her there because of Hoyt's sudden visit. Her stomach was in knots. She wasn't sure how to feel about this.
"Can I grab my camera before we go?"
"Hurry the fuck up," Carlos retorted in annoyance.
He honestly didn't mind. As long as she stayed out of his business, then he was content. Giving her back her camera was probably the best idea Vaas had when it came to Liv. At least she wasn't annoying Carlos.
With her Olympus in tow, she got into the Scavenger and tinkered with the settings as Carlos drove her to the doctor's house. Liv was beyond excited; the land around the mansion was gorgeous.
She spent hours running around the grounds within sight of Carlos, taking pictures. Doctor Earnhardt was a bit strange, but always so kind to her, sometimes mistaking her name as Agnes, which she didn't mind. It almost saddened her to say goodbye to him and return to the outpost.
Liv was on cloud 9 as she sat beside Yada at an unoccupied table beneath one of the huts. It was almost time to eat thankfully, so she waited with him as Carlos went to check in with Vaas.
"Why are you so damn happy?" Yada asked.
Was she not allowed to be?
"Good day," Liv uttered.
"Lucky fucking you. We had to deal with Hoyt and his stuck-up putas (bitches)," Yada mentioned.
Liv would have felt bad for them, only the Pirates could handle it. She wondered if Vaas was in a terrible mood; she wanted to view her pictures on the laptop. It was probably best if she waited.
After dinner, she sauntered to the trailer that Vaas stayed in and knocked on the door, knowing better than to just walk in.
"Fuck off!" He shouted in response.
Liv tightened her jaw. She reckoned that he was in a bad mood. With an uneasy breath, she clutched her camera right.
"Thank you!"
She turned to walk away, but the sound of the door slamming open startled her, drawing her attention to the pirate. Her first response was to avert her eyes, due to his half-naked appearance; his shirt was missing, and his pants were nearly hanging off his hips. The dark circles beneath his eyes were more prominent, making her assume that he had been trying to sleep.
Liv felt her face heat up.
"The fuck are you thanking me for?" Vaas asked in confusion.
"For allowing me to go with Carlos to see Alec," Liv answered quietly. She lifted her camera. "I took some pictures. Um… I left you a note before I borrowed it from your room."
Vaas ordered her inside, despite the look of annoyance on his face. He considered turning her away since he wasn't in the mood, but the content and embarrassed look on her face wasn't one he was used to seeing. She mostly tried to hide her fear, remaining quiet in his presence unless spoken to.
As she walked in, Vaas shut the door behind her and grabbed the laptop, tossing it on the bed before he lay down. He watched Liv grab the cable, sitting down on the edge beside him where he could see the scene.
One by one, once booted, the images appeared on the screen. Liv was in awe of them, even the ones of Doctor Earnhardt that she took. A specific one of him sitting at his chair by the window made her smile. He looked comfortable, maybe even a little high.
"You like him?" Vaas suddenly asked.
Liv raised a brow.
"Alec? He's sweet… Though sometimes he's a bit unorthodox. But I like him enough."
"Enough to fuck him?" Vaas asked.
Where was this coming from? Liv wasn't sure what to say. She peered over at him, seeing his eyes narrowed on the screen. There was no way he could have been jealous of the doctor. Vaas might be bipolar but she had never seen him show signs of jealousy toward Alec before.
Is it because of me?
Liv sighed. How was she meant to defuse this? Turning her eyes back to the laptop, she searched for an image and then turned it into a background image, lying down beside him; the laptop rested on her stomach.
"This is by far my favorite picture on the island."
It was a picture of Vaas sitting on the beach with the sun on his back, making him appear almost like an angel.
Or a demon.
"The lighting is flawless," Liv uttered as she hovered her fingers over the screen, showing him the way it cascaded over him. "And so are you. Guapo (handsome), no?"
"¡Mierda (shit)! You know how to play the game," Vaas stated with a grin. "Always kissing my ass."
He put his fingers to his lips to emphasize his point.
Liv snorted in response.
She wasn't lying. Vaas was the most handsome demon she had ever seen.
Here's to hoping he doesn't attack Alec for this.

Ok this might gonna sound strange or silly and more of a me thing but it needs to be said. I think we should’ve gotten more DLC amigos for Far Cry 6, especially when we have 2 Amigos va Download packs who have no Lore in the story *Alia Champange and K-9000* I think It’s a Massive Missed Opportunity, especially with the villains DLCs since after beating them you get, Weapons *weither it be new, a Reskin, or returning from the past game*, Costumes, vehicles, Chibis, Mounts Ect But No Amigos. Vaas’s DLC is the only Exception since you had no Pets in FC3, However not so much for the others. For example beating Pagen’s Maybe we could have Gotten Shangri La Sky Tiger *In Just going to Call Him Sky for short from Now On*, and I’m just going to say for Joseph It’s a Crime That Cheeseburger DIDNT Make it back *Or Timber, Peaches and Horatio*
Now I’m a bit sad they didn’t do that and we didn’t get the Tiger or another Fang For Hire in Far Cry 6… You’re right, it doesn’t really matter that Champagne and K-9000 don’t have a backstory because we love them anyway, and you can never have too many virtual pets!
Actually, I think I would almost have preferred them just giving us Boomer as a reward after completing Collapse rather than trying to justify his presence in Yara. Since the USA still exist and the Seeds are apparently still alive in the world of Far Cry 6, the Reaping most likely never began, so Rae-Rae is fine, so Boomer still has a family, so Hurk just… stole him? I was happy when I found “Boom Boom” but my first thought after reading the note was, “Oh no, he’s here all alone, away from everything and everyone he knows and loves, poor baby…” I stopped feeling sad when I realized he could sit in my car, but still 😅

I just want it to be known that I adore all of you that I've made friends with. Each time we interact, chat or do anything, really, it's a very nice, very warm feeling.
IT JUST HAD TO BE SAID.
Now that it has been, I'll return to the regularly scheduled insanity, courtesy of Vaas.

Exhaustion carries the soft steps of the corpo through the garage door. The meeting (to silence) V about her indiscretions inundated her in emotional discomfort. All she wants is this ordeal with the nomad merc behind her and she’s only halfway convinced it is.
The floodlights are their usual evening dim and the spacious first floor of the North Oak estate sits in its usual silence until the crunch of broken glass under her security chief’s boot alerts her that something is off. A large palm raised stops her in her tracks. Turay confirms via his comm what he already suspects; the notification from in-house security states that the ganger is in residence. Chin turns and lit Kiroshi’s corner on his charge, who already pieces the lack of extra precaution together. “You know what I’m going to say."
A sigh suffices for an answer. Turay would prefer her to disengage, to lock herself in her room, away from the ganger and his tantrums, but that’s not how Brianne functions. She hasn’t heard from Vaas since before the incident and she can't simply sweep what happened with V under the designer rug. Carefully, she steps around the chief, her own judgment taking precedence in all matters concerning Los Piratas' president. It's worked so far.
To the living room she meanders, lamenting not the broken baubles or glassware at her heels, which she keeps on her feet for safety. Rather a tired acquiescing to his volatile manner unfolds, even if his unhinged anger scares her.
“Vaas?” A falsely calm voice calls after seeing the shadow of him perched on one of the plush grey sofas, his red optics eerily glaring back at her. A shiver runs down her spine, almost pausing her in her tracks. “You alright?" She manages shakily, trying to replace that chill with concern, foolish but genuine. "I was worried. All that blood.” You never returned my texts... // @badtrigger (p.s.)

If the horoscope of Lord Ram and Sita was a perfect match? Why was there so much suffering in their marriage then?
This is the most common query when one thinks about Astrology and its utility. Being perplexed about the life events of any of the Vishnu Avtaars or even the Rudra Avtaar, even when they were all Demi-Gods, is obvious!
A relevant couplet by Saint Kabir Das Ji can be quoted:
मुनि वशिष्ट से पंडित ज्ञानी , सोध के लगन धरी । सीता हरन मरन दशरथ को , वन में बिपति परी । करम गति टारे नाहीं टरी ।
So, here we are talking about two great Kings, Dashrath and Janak Both were very righteous, and their subjects had much adoration for both.
King Janak, was even referred to the most learned wise man, or the ‘Sat Guru’ of his times. Whereas Dashrath had the honour of having Muni Vasisth as his ‘Kul Guru’
So, basically it can be assumed that both collectively did the right thing for their age and times. [Remember, they were great Kings and their pupil were like their family.]
Then, what went wrong? Nothing! Yes, absolutely nothing went wrong. It was all pre-planned and pre-destined.
The purpose of horoscope matching for marriage, is that they both should be supportive to each others cause and purpose of life. This is what happened in Sia-Ram’s match.
The purpose of Shri Ram was to get rid of the devils dwelling around, who were posing a threat to all the sages and humans in general. As a future king, it was his duty too, to cleanse all the evil doers in the society before establishing the Ram-Rajya! How else could have been a king on excursion (or exile, as it is termed) for 14 years without raising an eyebrow!
In getting married Sita Ji to Ram, she supported him in all his endeavors, be it the van-vaas, be it her kidnapping (as it was also needed as a premise for an exiled Prince to attack on an enemy, Ram being Purush-uttom, couldn’t do anything adharmik)
Considering, why did Laxman became an accomplice to Ram. Here too, we need to broaden the perspectives of two brothers taking care of the Kingdom, while two others taking care of the others. In the current scenario, you may count it as Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Defense, being Ram (always being politically correct & Laxman always being the aggressive) while the other portfolio of the cabinet resting with Bharat & Shatrughan.
Did Ram and Sita really suffered? Where is it written in any of the Ramayanas written by anyone? While it has clearly mentioned of the pain and agony of Dashrath while sending Ram to exile or the agony of Ram when Laxman went into coma. So, it is us mortals who are unaware of the true mission, consider their lives to be full of pain, while it mustn’t have been.
What was the achievement of this particular episode of Ramayana? All the Devils were neutralized, friendly relations were established with all the neighboring kingdoms.
The losses thus occurred? Except for the pains while a team is out on excursion, there was no loss, the Kingdom, the family, the pupil, the neighboring states, all were handed back to Ram on his return.
Now, look at Uttar Ramayana Sita was sent to exile, as people said that she became impure due to her stay with the devil. This is what we know! While the fact is, Sita is Pious, and was kept pious by Ravana. He never used force onto her, when he was such a great warrior! We are so used to hear about rape cases all around us these days; wasn’t it possible for Ravan? He never did! So why did Ram sent her to exile (or to Valmiki Ji’s Ashram)? The basic reason is that Sita ji was pregnant, and as we know, the sanskar gained during pregnancy have a lasting effect onto the child (Abhimanyu of Mahabharata is a true example). In the Ashram, she would be taken care of! She would receive the best knowledge through Maharishi Valmiki and the kids would attain the basic learning and knowledge in the best possible manner, while keeping aloof from the glitz and glamour of a princely life!
Finally they were tested too, both at the court of Shri Ram and in the war front when they stopped the Horse of the Ashv-Megh-Yagna.
So, in totality, Ayodhya received the best of king as Shri Ram and his sons Luv-Kush. It was well matched through Muni Vasisth as per the need of those times.
Hence, kundli matching isn’t always done for a happy life, rather its a means to achieve the desired result (Karmic outcomes) out of a marriage.
