School approaches!! I’m so happy to finally be going back to learning again you have no idea. Above are some of the school supplies I bought just yesterday (excluding the bag & pencil case) and some pretty decorative things I got. 1. What is your degree/favourite subject?

i haven’t officially declared a major yet but i’m thinking about doing the dual major in computer science and economics.

but i like math and music and economics and art history :)

3. What motivates you to study?

honestly i just really like using my pens on nice paper and the studying comes along with that haha! also i just like learning in general :)

4. What do you love about yourself?

one thing i really love about myself is that i try to be (and i like to think that i succeed at) really outgoing! i try to put myself out there, meet new people, and try new things.

5. What time do you do your best studying?

in the morning, with a nice cup of tea, chill music, and no distractions

6. What is your favourite tv show?

shadowhunters is awesome! also masterchef, big bang theory, so you think you can dance, and the voice.

7. Best self care tip for exam season?

get enough sleep and STAY HYDRATED! it doesn’t matter if it’s tea or coffee or juice or magic unicorn water, just drink your fluids and you will feel a lot better.

8. Do you listen to music when you study?

yes! i actually have different playlists for different subjects hehe

9. What is your favourite book?

the phantom tollbooth by norton juster. if you’ve never heard of it, i highly encourage you to read it because it’s just hilarious and witty and teaches a bunch of great life lessons.

otherwise i love harry potter and the little prince and the shadowhunters series hehe :)

10. Where do you do your best studying?

at the library or in my room at my desk

11. What do you get complimented on often?

my amazing vine references and meme game HAHA

12. Where would you like to live in the future?

i have no idea. i definitely want to go study abroad in france though!

13. How long have you been active on your studyblr?

two weeks? this is my second account because my studyblr was a side blog on my first, so i guess that doesn’t count.

14. Favourite way to spend study breaks?

watching youtube, hanging with friends, dancing, doodling, lettering, getting/making food!

        So I kind of forgot to post for the past two days even though I took pictures meant for posting?? Idk so here is all of the stuff I forgot to post. I reviewed some notes, re-organised my bookcase, cooked dinner and made a new organisation system for the new school year. Can you tell I’m bored of summer already? So as my classes went down from 16 (yikes) to 11 (yikes, but less), I sorted out a new colour code, figured out the class difficulties and revamped my study system. I can finally work longer on all of my classes instead of improving just the one. Honestly, who decided to give us 16 separate classes? Clearly not students.

        A brief overview of my day, ft. the best watermelon ever. Today I reviewed this past year’s biology curriculum, which I’m glad to say is still fresh in my mind, and went a little further into molecular genetics. I learnt about polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which is a process that copies a select piece of DNA, often used in forensic science, which I found very fascinating.

        I used the Khan Academy website if anyone is interested. You can find everything I studied today under the high school biology section.
