Climbing on the picturesque vajolet towers today. We had to wait most of the morning for all our gear and clothes to dry in the sun but luckily we were at an Italian refuge so could drink cheap coffee during the wait. We decided to climb the second tower called Torre Stabeler and climbed the Fehrmann Vinatzer direct start. The direct start consisted of two more interesting cracks pitches than the normal. Steep cracks made much easier with bridging. Lots of pegs and possibilities for protection. timelapse_around_the_world After a wonderful sunset at the Vajolet towers I hoped to take also a good stars timelapse. Unfortunately in the evening it was raining. I went to sleep and I set my alarm at 5 A.M. for the sunrise. In the middle of the night I woke up and I watched through the window to check the weather.
