HAP VALENTINES DAY

2024 Valentines are here!! Last year I did a set of punny kids classroom style Valentine cards, and this year I made a whole new set! They were a ton of fun to paint, and I'm really in love with each one XD

The classroom style cards (which are perfect for kids, or friends, or coworkers, or anyone) are up in my Etsy shop! I am also selling the original watercolour painted card used to make these, also up in my Etsy. (And if anyone is interested in any of these punny ones as a printed greeting card, hit me up, I'd be happy to add the listing.)

The last two photos are product photos - first of the above eight artworks, which have been printed and cut into classroom-style kid's Valentine cards. They are laid out together on a wooden board.

The second one shows four cards, all of which have been scored for easy folding. Two lay upright, displaying the toad and unicorn card, while one lays on its back, showing that the back reads "Happy Valentine's day!" and "To/From." One card has also been folded and sealed with a heart sticker. Two strips of heart stickers, one red and one pink, are arranged with the cards.

This was a funny one for me because this happened in real life when I was 17!

“Sixty-seven, sixty-eight, sixty-nine, seventy.” Mickey counted as he sorted through the pile of red-themed cards that arrived addressed to him in the mail that week, all signed by ‘Anonymous’.

“I wonder who sent these to me?” He smirked. “I wonder if ‘Anonymous’ is a tall big-dicked ginger, whose carpets match the drapes?”

“A tall ginger sent you sixty-nine fuckin’ cards, because it’s your favorite number.” Ian said darkly. “And when I find out who else sent you a Valentine’s card I’ll hunt them down and tear them limb from fuckin’ limb!”

“Mmmm, Tough Guy act is gettin’ me hard, Gallagher.”

Valentines Day, the day of love, a day of joy. A day that is in two weeks. This year, they’ve planned something special for each other. Personalized cards everyday until the 14th.  Rain has his card ready, stuffed in his backpack hanging from his chair in class. He’ll give it to Phayu tonight, when he gets to the garage and they have dinner there. “Rain,” Sky hisses, bringing Rain back to the present, to the class he’s supposed to pay attention to. “Rain, focus.” Right. Class first, Phayu second. He’ll have plenty of time to fantasize about Phayu later. His big, strong, capable hubby, his– Sky flicks his ear. “I won’t give you my notes if you don’t start paying attention now.” Rain straightens himself, sitting up and running his hands through his hair. Right, focus. Focus. He can’t wait to give Phayu his card tonight.

Y'all I made lil punny animal Valentine's cards!!
