Anna helped Kristoff out of his clothes, slowly and tenderly giving him a caring stroke here and there while her fingers worked him out of the different layers of fabric.
He pulled her close, meanwhile all naked, pressing her body to his and pecked a kiss to her forehead.
“Can I skip the bath?”
“Ugh… no!” Anna laughed. “But I will be right with you, lend you a hand if you wish.”
He grinned, cupped her chin tilting it a tad upward and softly brushed his lips over hers. “I´d love that, feisty pants!”
“Off you go, you valiant pungent reindeer king!” Anna teased and tantalizingly squeezed his butt. Kristoff grumbled fondly and turned for the adjoint room where the bathtub was set ready.
Anna watched after her husband with a warm glance. He was so brave and deserved some good treat… She started sorting his clothes onto the vanity chair, and just then, a sassy idea came to her mind.
~~~
He had lowered into hot water, sank his large body to a comfortable position at his best, bracing his arms along the tub wall and leaning his head back. Eyes closed; Kristoff had to admit that the privilege of a warm bath at the end of a nerve-wracking day was not to be denied.
It didn´t take long and he heard soft footsteps advancing.
Anna was such a sweetheart… was she going to rub his back, and maybe some more…?
He could literally feel her hands gliding down his chest already and the mere imagination of his wife´s tending to his tensed body sent him almost over the edge. He breathed deeply to prevent his dick from hardening for another few moments. She would notice eventually, but had not to see his cock poking out of the water the very first moment she came in.
How rude…
A soft cough made him open his eyes, dimly aware that his groins were throbbing in anticipation.
Holy iceberg…
He glared at Anna who was standing just a hand's reach away from him. If he thought he was in control of his manhood, his rock-hard buddy was not obeying in the least and poked his head out of the water instantly, to see his wife standing there!
Anna was smirking, with her hands braced on her hips. Her bare hips. Her hair fell free over her bare breasts. She was completely naked, adorned with only one piece of cloth. His sash.
“I just need to talk to some rocks about my childhood and stuff”
I funny little line from Olaf that I hope could become something more in the future, because I’ve always wanted to see more about Kristoff and his relationship with Bulda and the Trolls, and this little line seem to suggest that, to this very day, he still needs to find their confort and council even if he doesn’t seem to need it on the outside.
Maybe one day we will find out more about his past to know what exactly happened to his family and how he met Sven ...
It’s a shame Frozen 2 just had this little line, then Bulda hugging him and saying “Kristoff, we missed you!”, than that little friendship with Ryder ...
and his failed “Northuldra proposal idea” with a bunch of reindeers, as some sort of “Valiant, pungent, reindeer king” ...
Not-a-Blooper, Blooper- ‘The Filming of Frozen 2: Behind the Scenes’
Kristoff: *eyes herds of reindeer circling the set, and waiting outside the director’s door*
Kristoff: Woah! What’s going on here?
Anna: I was going to ask you the same thing!
Kristoff: Sven, do you have something you want to share?
Sven: I’ve come to the conclusion the writer’s took the ‘Valiant, Pungent Reindeer-King’ thing, pretty literally.
Elsa: It smells like a barn in here!
Sven: *chuffs*
Anna: *turning to production crew* Don’t you guys think these auditions would have been better suited, I don’t know...OUTDOORS?
Crew Member: *shrugs* Jennifer’s looking for well-trained reindeer, like Sven.
Sven: *eyes go wide* *freezes* *stops chewing on the table cloth*
Anna: That seems like a tall order. I mean, where are they going to find herds of well-train- WAIT! Is that Santa Clause!? *runs eagerly away*
Elsa: Anna, no! That’s Marcus, the caterer! *hides behind hand*
Kristoff: Anna, stop! Don’t jump the man! ...I’m so sorry about this, sir. *pulls Anna off of caterer*
Talking about Kristoff - The Champion of the Frozen Franchise
A Champion can be a person who vigorously supports or defends something. This is who Kristoff is to his very core - he defends and supports those around him by being there and helping them when they need it most. Especially when it comes to Anna and his family, Kristoff is ready to help them without putting his own needs first.
Although it takes him time to warm up to other people, Kristoff proves that if you truly love someone, you will be there for them and give them a love that is not easily broken by misunderstandings or personal goals.
Just as with the sisters, as you all know by now, I will be discussing Kristoff throughout the franchise and then delve into what I think could be next for our favorite valiant, pungent, Reindeer King.
Kristoff’s Childhood
Ice?! Faster Sven!
A bit of Kristoff's childhood happens off-screen, and is told by us by the creators - We don't know much about Kristoff's parentage, except that they were Saami and have now passed away. However, Kristoff would always refuse to stay in the orphanage he was confined to and found himself exploring the outdoors. Through his wanderings, Kristoff would find Sven.
While working with other Saami Ice Harvesters, Kristoff would find himself following the royals to the Valley of the Living Rock, where he would find his new family with the Trolls.
What we immediately see is how Kristoff is, indeed an outdoorsy person - but more importantly, we also see a flaw forming. Kristoff starts to form a dislike and distrust for people. The only time he finds comfort is with a non-human family and spends most of his time away from people and the wilderness.
Kristoff in Frozen
Reindeers are better than people.
Kristoff continues his reputation as the mountain man - he spends most of his time away from Arendelle and other people. When we see him again in Oaken's Trading Post, he is completely rude, and outright calls Oaken a crook. When he is alone with Sven, he pushes the fact that he feels that Reindeers are better than people - people will beat you and curse you and cheat you, after all.
When he sees Anna again, and the two start their journey, Kristoff begins to show his softer side. He starts to fall for Anna's feisty personality and even starts to find chemistry with her. Throughout their adventure, Kristoff starts to care for her - seeing if she was alright after falling from Elsa's ice blast and then trying to make her feel warm when her heart begins to freeze.
However, Kristoff is willing to put his own desires to be with Anna to the side in order to get her to Hans. Even so, when he sees that Arendelle is forming a cloud, he rushes to help Anna - regardless that she could be with Hans. He needed to be sure she was alright.
This shows how when Kristoff started to break out of his shell and form a bond with another human, he immediately showed her kindness, companionship, and love.
However, it would still take Kristoff some time to fully be able to communicate his feelings properly.
Kristoff in Frozen 2
Now I know you're my true north, 'cause I am lost in the woods.
In Frozen 2, Kristoff wants to take his relationship with Anna to the next level - but he has a hard time finding the right words. He tries so hard to try and make everything perfect, leading him to overthink and even lose a bit of himself in the process.
He begins to question his relationship with Anna - even coming to the point where he feels as though he is completely lost without her. He keeps all these emotions bottled up - leading to a lot of his proposal attempts to be awkward and superficial.
Kristoff needed to learn to express himself openly and to be honest with himself. He didn't need a fancy proposal, and the right words would come to him when he was able to finally let down his guard and express his emotions as they were - without the perfection, he thought he needed.
Frozen 2 also continues to show how Kristoff supports Anna and puts his own needs aside for the moment. When he sees Anna is in need, he immediately saves her and offers his help - without demanding an explanation or questioning her judgment. This is quite a development from where he was in Frozen, where he would do nothing but question. This shows how he has grown respect for Anna over the years.
When he announces that his love is not fragile, he lets Anna know that he understands her feelings, accepts her apology to him, and that this will not break the strong love that they have for each other.
Kristoff in the Future
Given his more supporting role within the franchise, I know that Kristoff probably won't get to much in terms of extensive story. However, there are a couple things that could work for him that fall in line with what I had also discussed with Anna, giving him a few development points while still keeping him as a supporting character.
As I discussed with Anna, there could be a possibility that Anna would have children in the future - given that I had her wanting to develop her feelings towards her parents, and thus strengthening her bond with them in order to become a good mother herself, Kristoff could also have this moment with his own birth parents as well.
We could actually see him questioning his ability to be a good parent with the absence of his own - only to discover that Bulda was a great parent to him and to use her as an example instead. This could help explore a little bit more of Kristoff's past, and perhaps finally see his more Saami roots.
Also like Anna, being that Kristoff could become King, Kristoff ultimately questioning his abilities to become a ruler along side Anna could help give his character even more development.
Either way, whatever is for Kristoff in the future, I know that he will forever support Anna and his family and a champion for their safety and love.
