As far as I can tell, “Ganja and Hess” (1973) is the first vampire movie with African American actors as vampire in primary roles.

Duane Jones played Hess Green, an Anthropologist. One day, in his house surrounded by ancient objects from his research, Hess is attacked by his crazed assistant and stabbed with a ceromonial dagger. The assistant then kills himself. Later Hess wakes craving blood and drinks from the assistant.

Days later, the assistant’s wife (Marlene Clark) arrives looking for her husband, but she’s enthralled by Hess. They become lovers and he turns her a well.

Northern Ghost bat

Angry face

Primarily eats moths and apparently likes to sing while doing so. Fuckin superb you funky little ghost bat

Desert long-eared bat

What's he so happy about???

Apparently they get scorpion stings to the face a lot but it's okay because they just don't care and swoop down to eat them whole (stinger and poison sack included) off the ground anyways

So actually he's probably happy about all the scorpion murder he commits

Pallid bat

Ears

Greater false vampire bat

Can apparently eat like anything. Bugs? Yes. Frogs? Yes. Birds? You bet.

Like straight up cannibalizes bats smaller than it.

Kind of a killing machine overall really

Wrinkle faced bats

Ugly but full of love

has a flap of skin they use as a facemask when they nap. Fancy.

Their weird skull structure lets them eat a wider range of food than most other bats. So that's rad.

Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of him. A man-- a fish?-- lying nearly unconscious in the shallow waters. His skin was decorated with blue scales, flared gills on his neck as if they were gasping for air. He had a tail and fins in place of legs. What was most alarming, however, was the angry red gashes on his back. It looked like he had been hit by a boat or a jet ski, and was too weak to swim away. She cautiously approached him, and he looked up at her with red-rimmed eyes. "I don't know what you are," she muttered, trying to keep her voice unthreatening, "but please let me help you."

There was a werewolf in his backyard, littered in gunshots and limping. It left a trail of blood where it walked. The wolf was wild. Too afraid to allow him to get close, but just scared enough to know that it needed his help. The night would be over soon, and he was worried what would become of its injuries when it turned human again. He would be patient, though. Just to make sure that they would be okay.

They found a vampire unconscious in the woods. She had been caught in the sun, skin red and blistered like a severe sunburn. All they could smell was burning flesh. They lifted her, hooking their arms under hers so they could drag her to the shade.
