Tiffin being the one to advocate for the Stonemason's Guild and being the one to die immediately from the injustice she fought against is such a fascinating piece of writing given how the Defias turns out that I don't even want to give Blizzard the credit for it.

I wonder often how much Edwin thought about this moment, esp in the later period of the brotherhood. I wonder if Vanessa looks at Anduin and thinks about it now.

"That you would win in hand to hand combat against me... And THAT is utterly unrealistic..." She smirked.

"Well- not that unrealistic... I got a lot of training from Shaw and-"

"Me too, Anduin..."

"Oooh... Hm..." He got lost in thought for a second. "How do you know Shaw anyway?"

"Well... Mathias used to be like... Like an uncle to me... A second father maybe..." She smiled. "Before and in the beginning of everything... And I suppose he came back to fill the role of a dad for me... Even after all that happened..."

"Oh so... so like Genn is to me?"

"Well..." She started giggling.

"What is it?"

"Well... Unless Varian and Genn slept together, it's not the same..."

Anduin looked at the giggling rogue, absolutely flaberghasted. "What?"

"What what?" She laughed.

"I didn't know Shaw and Edwin-"

"Well now you know... They always acted like an old married couple yet everyone was like 'huh, just buddies being friends'..."
