Damien Pools

Meredith “Merry” Pools - Damien’s mom, in any AU is a florist. Which is one of the main reasons he shows his affections through flowers and why is always has well kept flowers in his office and home. I’m not sure if I gave Damien’s father a job…. or even a name for that matter. XD

Bastian Alejandro Fernando Rei Chele

Octavian Rei - Bastian’s father, a business owner with some… shady dealings- mostly tax evasion and the like. He has gone to jail for it, but that was while he was with his first wife. Octavian cleaned up his act (partially) when he married Dulce.

Dulce Rei Chele - Bastian’s mother and Octavian’s second wife, is a hairdresser.

Adelaide Rei Pena - Bastian’s older sister (+ 17 years), some detective type of law enforcement. (Obliviator for the MoM in OU)

Valentine “Van” Lanis

Raleigh Lanis - Van’s dad, a postal worker.

Marla Lanis - Van’s mother when when she was living was a teacher (I believe.) Died due to complications giving birth to the twins Maverick and Angela (-9 years).

Kylian Lanis - Van’s older brother (+2), works in McDonalds

Frank and Martha Dylan - owner of the JuneBug Deli, and the apartment above it where Van lives. Sort of like a second family to him.

Lily Ann Kerrington

Gloribel Kerrington - Kerry’s mother, stay at home mom, later a house cleaner.

Rowan Kerrington - Kerry’s father, Doctor.

Henley Vanderbuilt - Shy’s mother, water ski/ skydiving/ zip-lining/ cliff-diving instructor. The main reason Shy is fearless around water and high places.

Ephraim Richmond - Shy’s father and curios salesman. The main reason why Shy collects and hordes small shiny or interesting knickknacks

Nadeem Richmond (+7 years) -  Shy’s brother, takes care of their father and helps with his trade.

While I’m at work I think about my pairings.

A lot. 

Especially the ones I have with Roxxy and how they would fair in other universes.

Especially Dulcedomum. 

So without further ado, I give you my headcanons of me and Roxxy’s couples in Dulcedomum.

First off we have Charlie and Damien. At first I thought of having Charlie be the wizard, but it actually makes a lot more sense to me to have her be the Guardian to “ageing” Wizard Damien. He made his first pact with a light spirit while rather on the older spectrum, maybe around mid to late 30’s or so. This was probably because his lack of confidence turned other spirits way. Then, as he’s honing his skills and meeting more spirits, Charlie comes into the picture as a fledgling guardian. And he takes care of her because her clumsiness constantly get her hurt and he want that not to happen- also a good way to practice those light powers. And thus the relationship is born! I also feel as though because in both the universe’s that Damien and Charlie have children, Charlie has issues with the second pregnancy, so in this case they would probably go on to have more kids and the spirits would make Damien bare these little ones. Not that he minds.

With Jonah and Bastian it’s fairly obvious (to me anyway) who would be what, especially considering Jonah’s constant in any universe is to protect Bastian from his own stupidity. So with them you have overly flirtatious and flamboyant Wizard Bastian, flirting with every guardian he sees and then comes across Guardian Jonah, who’s probably been there for a while, but not meshed with anyone. Or maybe one person, but it didn’t quite work out.  Skip forward a few years and a marriage pact later, they have spirit-born Jethro and adopted Nadezdha from another wizarding couple that didn’t make it.

Keaton and Mathias were also fairly easy to figure out. With Wizard Keaton probably pulling some prank on Guardian Mat or something and they end up being fast friends and then soon come up with a pact that ends up with Mat falling in love with Keaton but not wanting to ruin the great friendship and guardian/wizard relationship they had going and knowing what happened with Keaton’s last lover (Rose’s mother, most likely not a guardian or knows any part about the family for that matter) and the fact that the wizard is straight… And ending up banging him after a hella drunken night.

With Eva and Jake, it’s kind of a toss up. On one hand Eva’s a fighter and on the other hand Jake’s a protector. (As spoken by the great and powerful Roxxy: “Jake is the wizard? because like Mary? could have been his first guardian/lover but Jake became Jake…and then Mary stopped being his lover and it was too painful so he ended their partnership releasing her from his contract”) So more than likely it would be Guardian Eva with Wizard Jake. There would probably be a point where Eva almost gets kicked out of Dulce and she meets up with Jake on accident starting a bit of an unlikely duo and she calms down a bit just to stick around him longer. When it comes to their family and having Emma, because they are both trans, the spirits make sure Eva is the one who gives birth. And she hates Jake the entire ‘pregnancy’, and the entire world for that matter. She becomes a pain in the ass to EVERYONE. If they ever have any other kids besides Emma, the spirits make sure not to do that shit again.

Lastly, Cassi and Van. Even if Van was a part of the Redstone family he’d probably end up a Guardian. But for the sake of these headcanons he’s not. Wizard Cassi is a Redstone. And she travels all around with her parents until she make a pact with a spirit and it’s off to Dulce with her. And she probably meets Guardian Van while he’s training and then talks to him and thinks he’s a total dunce, but he’s smitten with her and follows her around like the love sick puppy he is. And in actually talking to him she finds he’s not as silly as she thought, but he is pretty out there sometimes. They end up having twins because of his genes plus the Redstone genes.

what is everyone's favorite sex position?

Okay time to dive right into this! 

Let’s start with the easy ones shall we (pun may or may not be intended)

Bastian loves to be pressed up against a wall with his legs around his lover, preferably with his arms restrained.  

Eva, to quote Ludacris *ahem* “face down, booty up, that’s the way she like to fuck” - both as bottom and top seeing as it’s not the most personal of positions. That is, until she met Jake. The first time they had sex it was in that position, though afterwards she found she would much rather him top her while she’s on her back. She can kiss him a lot better this way.

Damien, being a big guy, is always worried that he’ll crush Charlie so he’d much rather her ride him cow girl style. He can also watch he face and body language a lot better to see what she likes/ dislikes.

Mathias likes to power bottom, being astride his lover excites him, since he can easily control what’s going to happen from where he sits (pinning down his lovers hips so he can’t buck up, riding him hard, going slow to tease, so on.)

Now for the difficult ones

Van is a very vanilla sort of guy when it comes to positioning, really liking missionary or laying on his side. He would rather spice it up by making love in different locations

Thursday is rather fickle when it comes to a lot of things, sex positions included. The thing he liked for his lover to do last month may not be something he’s into this month and so on. So he has no favorite position, buthis favorite thing is to spice up the bedroom in different ways.

Kerrington, though he doesn’t care to admit (nor really knew himself) loves to be pegged.  So one of his favorite positions is to be on his lover’s lap being penetrated by toys.

In both his original EGG universe and the Pokemon AU, Van tends to over prepare himself... to an extent. In the EGG universe after the death of his mom, both his father and older brother became a bit uncaring to the world and thus Van took it upon himself to step up to the plate and become a 'father' to his younger twins brother and sister. This caused him to grow up fast and gave him and overwhelming sence of responcibility. When he no longer had that responicibility over his younger sibs, he walked a line between reverting back to the teen life he never lived and being overbearing to his very independent girlfriend Cassi which caused a big strain in their relationship. In the pokemon universe, he also resumed responcibility over his siblings, but his older brother did not become depressed as in the EGG universe and thus was more of a help, allowing Van to live his life a little more and get out from under that burden that he was never supposed to bear. This way he got to prepare himself for his travels, but still missed some value able lessons (like type advantages/disadvantages) but living on a Miltank farm taught him others(such he knows a lot about breeding and egg care, preparing different types of pokemon food).

Van has always been a bit of a foodie, thought I didn't really explore that to much in his original incarnation in E.G.G. tech. In his new pokemon AU however, it's much more pronounced. And in the fact that it's been ingrained in him to care much more about the people/pokemon in his care means their first trip to a big town where they sell specialized food, he's going to end up spending a lot more on pokemon food than his budget permits. Leaving him to depend on Cassi for supplies and keeping him following her a little longer.

When choosing a birth-date for any of my characters I consult my favorite and most battle worn book - “Darkside Zodiac”.  This lovely book has helped me determine almost all the birthdays of my characters, starting off with what I know about them and then running through zodiac signs that would fit that bit of personality. Also, toss a bit of numerology in there too - I’ve been known to switch around the birthday by a day or so if there is a set year I’m working with and the Destiny number doesn’t match what I’m going for.

All in all, there are only two characters that I can think or where this process didn’t apply-

**Van, who’s birthday came from his annoyance at his name Valentine. I thought it would be cute, seeing as I have a cousin born on Valentine’s day as well (I am a dork a pull a lot of stuff form irl experiences). However, it was really hard for me to grasp Aquarius personality traits and soon grew to hate him after a while. In the pokemon AU he’s a lot better and I have room to grow with him. (Feb 14)

**And Shy, who birthday as originally in March 15, but in her Dulcedomum revamp, I mistyped it as May and couldn’t be assed to change it back. Though she is very much like a Pisces, I can still see a little Taurus in her and I plan to work with that in the future. I have to many Pisces characters any way. (May 15)

As for the rest of the characters…

**Damien, my bleeding heart. Which meant he just HAD to have a water sign. Me being a Cancer myself I though Damien would be one as well, but after a little research Pisces suited him better. (Feb 26)

**Bastian had no contest in being a Leo. He’s dramatic, boisterous, loves a crowd, overtly sexual and touchy. He just oooozes Leo. So the better part of figuring out a birthday was making his Destiny number a 6 for his loving nature. (Aug 5)

** Eva, my motormouth, brash as hell, over dramatic hard hitting transgender DJ turn office queen… she was another one of my characters that came with her sign tattoo on her ass (not literally, but now that I think on it that one of those things that could easily become canon. Yup, it’s canon now.) So very talkative, but much rather take action at the same time, she ended up with the 11th because 1 in numerology aggressive, determined and unwavering, and double the number means it hits twice as hard- which is what Eva is all about.(Jun 11)

**Thursday, I thought, was going to be my first earth sign- probably a Virgo. But his flights of fancy and indecisiveness made me lean more towards an air sign. Then there was the fact that he’s very spendthrifty that made me lean toward Libra, but close to Virgo, to keep a little o that down to earth personality trait. (Sep 26)

**Mayla may actually get a birthday change if I ever use her again. I first imagined her as a Cancer/Leo cusp - laidback and caring but dramatic, a home body with a party girl that switches on with the drop of a dime. But the more I played her, the ore it felt to me that- while I was right about the water fire cusp, I wasn’t right about the TIME. Her highly secretive nature and her way of getting to the point of what she wants to do reminds me more of a Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp. (Jul 20 - may change to Nov 21)

**Kerrington, another water/fire cusp, this time with Pisces/Aries. With him it was all about how he made friends and handled his anger. He fumed in silence and loyally stuck with friends he found worthy. I dunno honestly. He just reminded me of a more calm fire sign. How do you calm fire? With a little water.(Mar 22)

**Mathias is a recent addition in the birthday mess, since I didn't think of a birthday for him until just now. XD For him, he's a rather playful guy and very sure of himself so I went with a fire sign. He perfectly content with being by his lonesome but thrives in a groups so that turned me to Saggitarius since that is most of the Saggi's I know Kthere are three in my family) Also I felt the need to put him in November. Also finding out the birthday I picked is right next to his lover's is and added bonus of hilarity.(Nov 25)

I THINK that’s it, though I feel as though I’m missing some people, I’ll update this if anything comes to mind.

In E.G.G. Van's older brother Kylian was depressed since after their mom died. Van's father became a shell of his former self and leaned on heavy drinking for years. So it was left to Van to take care of his twin younger siblings for all of their lives. So that why he took up the job at the deli and saved up for Zanice in the first place for someone to help him out and to talk to besides his family. 

Also, Kylian reaching his breaking point was going to be the storyline for Van hatching his defense EGG Cthulhu. I can't remember how I was going to play it out completely but Van tended to talk Kylian down if he went off the handle, but this time Kylian went off without him and Van would have had to find him, tracking him down in an abandoned house with the help of Zanice. There he was going to set the house on fire with himself still inside, hesitating when he saw Van. the rest is a bit hazy but it would have had a bit of talking and a hugging it out at the end, which would have been the protected feeling for Cthulhu's hatching.

Of course that was completely axed after the fucking timeskip.

Van at the start of his pokemon AU, lived on a Miltank ranch with his father, older brother and younger twin siblings. He was not very prepared for his journey, but he does know a bit about battling thanks to his older brother Kylian making sure that he practiced a little using the farm animals in play battles. This has made him very confident in himself though he's never been in a real battle yet.
