well the answer to this question depends on the version of my au that we're talking about. i have two versions in my head: one in which william was a murderer and one in which he wasnt. the second one i imagine as much more Slice Of Life and is mostly for my own personal needs, because as much as i love fucked up shit, sometimes i just wanna write something cute in a mundane setting

in the first one howeverrr

of course she kills. now william's feelings toward murder and etc are irrelevant, all that matters is that she heard of him. and as any good vanny fan, i imagine that her motivation has to do something with her being a copycat killer. generally in my AU she's somewhat of a true crime freak ( or whatever they're called ) - ever since she heard of the whole fazbear schtick, she's been obsessed with it, obsessed with finding any information on it. she could probably spend hours trying to find ANY newspaper scrap about it and the murders associated. and when she puts together the story of the afton's youngest dying because of the eldest son, she thinks that wiliam's motivation was to rid the world of bullies ( or something similar to that ) thinking of him to be some kind of vigilante. and it absolutely does not matter if she's actually correct and that was indeed his motivation. because she'll decide to 'honor' him and continue his work, downing on a bunny persona as well, one that she ( just like william ) has always felt attached to, ever since the character was created ( similar to william, her bunny character would NOT be created just to be their murder persona, its something they made a long, long time ago )

does she actually go through with any of it?

i imagine that she at the very least makes the costume and even starts making a victim list, but never goes through any of the murders until she meets william, in which she starts to murder people hannibal lecter style ( where the murders are supposed to be love letters/messages to william )

and what would she feel about it afterwards?

a sense of.. relief, i would say? like how one would feel after their body is finally allowed to relax after a lot of built up stress. but i also think she's too focused on making the crime scene pretty
