Figured i'd post my Glade, though there is no glade itself XD
I've wanted to rip off Vasnetsov's paintings for some Silmarillion fanart for a long time now. His fairy tale works are very much neoromantic mess and i am sure are problematic in a list of ways! Perfect for Tolkien. Last October i used Мёртвая царевна for a small Fëanor resting next to his mother's body (did not turn out too well, messed up Míriel's bed big time). This year i think i did better, using The Frog Princess for Lúthien dancing! Though i thought, if i try adding Daeron or any background i am very likely to mess things up! So i decided to just keep it the way it is.
The leaves were long, the grass was green,
The hemlock-umbels tall and fair,
And in the glade a light was seen
Of stars in shadow shimmering.
Tinúviel was dancing there
To music of a pipe unseen,
And light of stars was in her hair,
And in her raiment glimmering.

🖤🤍💀❄️ JULGHOST 🤍💀❄️ 🖤
My biggest tribute art for Papa Copia so far.
I was inspired by old master painter Viktor Vasnetsov, the scandinavian Julgoat, the mythological Wild Hunt and of course Copia's bewitching fashion sense.
