Thinking about a universe where Scanlan was able to use Wish and Vax lived after all.

Thinking of him and Keyleth settling into their house built inside of giant tree in Zephrah.

Thinking of him and Keyleth starting a polycule with Shaun after some time has passed - Vax had always loved that man, he'd just been too scared to admit it to himself before now.

I'm picturing Shaun opening a branch of his shop in Zephrah so he has an excuse to visit for long periods of time - he is working Sherri, stop glaring at him like a disappointed mother, he has a reputation you know.

Maybe they all get married to each other somehow, maybe they even have children.

They have options for children; they could adopt, they could always adopt, they know plenty of children need and deserve it

i also headcanon Vax as trans, so he could carry the kids if he felt comfortable enough in his body and identity to do so

or Keyleth could, as well - though I personally have the headcanon that she can change sex on a whim and prefers having a male body during sex, I can see her agreeing to having Vax's kids should he be able to give them

they would all just be happy to have children, I think

they'd all be cute parents imo
