have an artistic hobby - Loki. Though I don't think he'd be very good at any of it. Like he'd try to take up painting and it would be like when you buy a groupon for an art class, and what you produce is like...the kind of thing your spouse tells you is really good, but it's really not. But you had fun and that's what matters!

win at monopoly. - Stephen. Look I know everyone wants Loki to be a chessmaster but I simply do not agree. This is a guy who plans a few steps ahead, finds himself at an impasse, and thinks, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Only when he gets to that point he's like, literally constructing the bridge as he's crossing it, and he's burning it behind him at the same time.

Anyway, I think he'd buy Monopoly properties based on names and colors.

write a bestseller - Stephen. I just feel like he has the stubbornness and patience to stick with the process.

spend all their money on something stupid - Stephen, obviously, because it's canon that he did exactly that.

cry during a movie - Loki. And he would deny it.

get into a bar fight - Loki. And he would deny it.

go vegan - Loki. I already head canon that he's vegetarian (most of the time).

get into an argument with a kid - Stephen. The kid said something stupid, come on. You think he's just going to let that stand?

get a speeding ticket - I have to assume Stephen racked up plenty of speeding tickets, considering how he drives in Doctor Strange. But I'm going with Loki by virtue of the fact that in my fic universe, Loki's the one with access to a car, and he loves driving (fast).

lead an activist movement - Loki, I guess...though this is one where I don't think either of them would really do this. But I definitely don't think Stephen would—I literally have a line in The General Mess where he says he hasn't voted in years, haha.

dye their hair rainbow colours - I think Loki would dye Stephen's hair rainbow colors. I'm not sure he'd do it to his own hair.

laugh at a funeral - pass, they are both just as likely to do this.

have books written about them - Loki, because my favorite running gag is that no one knows who Stephen is.

I had been pretty sheepish all day just trying to keep my head down maybe they forgot about me, Once the bell rang luckily I had model UN so I scampered there before I could get in trouble and sat in my UK-labeled chair.

"Okay, good afternoon everyone now before we move onto the current affairs of the day does anyone have any new business they would like to bring up?" Alby asks

Brenda Young, the school activist and art freak never seen without paint on her hands and a soap box about something, I never paid her that much attention honestly just sort of saw her as a positive Karen I suppose, then again last year she did force the cafeteria to start at least stocking a vegan and vegetarian option for people thought four weeks of violent protests. they still haven't fixed the window and it still kinda of smells like chum around it.

she stood from her chair her hair cut short with a bright blue streak, her black clothes of net and leather a hand-drawn tattoo on her arm made of Sharpie,

"Brenda, I've told you before if you're not going to do this properly you can leave" Alby sighed "You can't call a revolution,"

"Fine" she pouted sitting back down

"Anyone else, Yes Eygpt" He says and she gets up from her seat

Harriet Toll, a fashion student and a sketchbook kept under lock and key, always wore the most up-to-date fashion trends and made the most of it as well. She didn't exactly like being here but the textiles room is closed on Thursdays and she doesn't get picked up till six so it's something to do other than sitting outside on the step.

"I know that this model UN is small and we are missing various countries but I cannot help but feel offended at the selection of countries" She explained

"I second that!" Brenda yelled, "The white boys are the rich countries and the rest of us are the countries with populations with the majority people of colour!"

"It feels -" Harriet began

"Racists!"

"Wouldn't you agree South Africa?"

"Humm? What's going on?" Fry yawns as he had basically been asleep since we got in here

"Calm down, calm down everyone, The assigned counties are assigned randomly," Alby says

"Randomly?" Harriet glared

"Completely randomly so sit down"

"Fine" she sighed sitting down again

"Anyone else" he sighed "Yes Denmark"

"What's up with the UK?" Zart asked as he clearly noticed me and the fact I'd barely spoken to him or anyone else today

"Is brexit making you sad?" Brenda laughed

"No" I sighed "I'm just a bit out that's all"

"Alright, now on to new business"

I left after the model UN was over starting to make my way out to go home when I saw three of those blue and white letterman jackets

"I don't like waiting, Newton" Ben yelled

"Fuck!" I complained trying to bolt as quickly as I could away but they caught up fast and threw me against the wall punching and kicking me

"The hell do you think you're doing nerd! You dare actually talk to a cheerleader? It would be funny if you weren't so fucking stupid!" He laughs "You are not to talk to her again, don't even look at her, not even think about her again, or I will cut your balls off and mount them on the flag pole, we clear Newton?"

"I can talk to whoever I damn want!"

"You wanna die! Let me explain something to you y/n is a cheerleader with a fat ass and tits that porn stars pay for, you are a scholastic decathlon, model UN, chess team little freakazoid. Now you will not do it again, are we clear!"

"Hey!" A voice came I could barely see as I likely had a black eye but I saw

Gally Anderson, cohead of the debate team, used to be the muscles of metal shop and woodshop until the school district cut the funding those rooms were gutted of equipment and turned into extra maths rooms and now were often stuck in the back of the art club making small wooden building sculptures while people like Brenda engaged in utter anarchy we used to be friendly but you drift Apart and all

"Leave the fuck alone before I knock those teeth down your throat, and we all know daddy paid to get them all nice and touched up for ya which you haven't paid off yet so unless you wanna root around your shit for those pearly fucks. Walk away"

"I know what you're doing, everyone heard but she aint your girlfreind as I recall she Dumped your ass so fuck off home"

"Come on guys" he says heading to his car "I'm watching you newton!"

"You okay?" Gally asks helping me up and grabbing my stuff for me

"Yeah he socked you pretty hard, we'll grab you some ice, come on I'll drop you home"

"Thanks man"

"No problem" he says taking me to his car and we stopped and he got me some ice for my eye and a bandage for my bleeding arm "I know what you did"

"Everyone knows apparently"

"I don't blame you, cheer girls are gorgeous, don't sweat it he'd have kicked your ass for being rude if you hadn't spoken to her"

"I don't get what his problem is"

"Dudes been butt hurt since she dumped him, still protective of her, he thinks because they used to date he owns her. Don't let it get to you" he says pulling up outside my house "You gonna be okay?"

"I think so, thanks gally"

"Don't worry about it, see you around"

"See you around" I nodded before climbing out and heading inside immediately to be met by

"Oh my god my baby!" She screams

"Mum I'm alright -"

"What the hell happened!" My dad yelled

"It's a long story"

Understandably my mother went crazy and I'd been sitting in the kitchen for over an hour while my parents paced and panicked, having replaced my ice and bandaged my cuts and bruises. when they finally let me go back to my room, so I headed to my bed Luckily I didn't have any homework or anything so I just crawled into bed and tried my best to get some god damn sleep.

When my alarm went off I forced myself up and quickly went for a shower Sonya was about to go in but she stopped short as she saw me

"What the hell happened to you?" she asks

"Don't. Say. anything." I warned her to go in the bathroom and lock the door tightly I put my music on as loud as possible ran myself a bath and climbed in trying to soothe my aching body, I took as long as I wanted in the bath, once done I went back to my room and got dressed for the day shoving my stuff in my bag even if It stung to add my bag to my shoulder and I headed downstairs to my mum and dad "Morning"

"Morning Kiddo, sit down and take your time with breakfast I'm taking you in today," he says

"You are?"

"Yeah, I want a word with the headmaster"

"Uhh okay" I nodded sitting down and my mum gave me as many strawberries, waffles, and french toast as I wanted "I'm happy to take the bus Dad"

"No, no. I want a word with him. phone doesn't do the same as turning up so If I'm going then I might as well take you"

"Why do I have to take the bus and he gets a ride to school!" Sonya yelled as she arrived downstairs

"And where were you while your brother was being beaten up like a 1930s gangster?'

"...at the movies with my friends"

"So you'll be taking the bus"

"Uuughhhh!' She yelled marching off outside

"You can take her too it's okay," I said

"You really should -" my mother began

"No, for once I'm not Bowing to that girl," he says finishing his breakfast he took my bag and we headed out to the car We started up and headed through the rainy streets he stopped for coffee of course and he even got me a few hash browns.

"So? Lead the way," he says I nodded and got out of the car he still carried my stuff for me as we headed into the still pretty empty school as the busses hadn't arrived yet I led him through the corridors to the headmaster's office but she wasn't here yet so we just sat outside. "You wanna tell me what this was all over so I have a little backing info?"

"I figured Sonya told you"

"She did but you know how your sister exaggerates."

"I was working, and the cheerleaders came in"

"All of them?'

"I think so, looked like all of them I don't exactly count them everywhere they go, Dad"

"Hu...I did"

"Did you?"

'When I was your age yeah, so?"

"So one of the cheer girls needed a hand with the slushie machine the cherry one always gets stuck so I pulled it for her we talked just casually while I did and told her I'd cover it. But clearly, people found out. I've been getting the cold shoulder from people all day because of it"

"Why? You did something nice for her?"

"Yeah, but she's a cheerleader. I'm...me. I can't talk to them it's like an unspoken law. So one of the track guys beat me up to teach me a lesson"

"And?"

"and lesson learned. I won't talk to her again" I sighed

"What's her name?"

"What does it matter They'll kill me if I ever even look at her again"

"Well tell me anyway"

I was on the chess team, algebra club, top science student two years running and your mother was a flag girl"

"No offence but stuff is different nowadays it's not like them You were my age things have changed"

"...how old do you think I am?" He glared

"Well, I'm seventeen?"

"Yeah and I'm thirty-four," he says "AHH Miss Ava Paige just the woman I've been needing to see"

I was kind of taken aback by what he said for a moment before I followed them into the office.

Hey there! I did a quick search on your blog and didn't see mention of this, so I thought I'd ask since you seem pretty knowledgeable (if that's ok!)

I was wondering what your thoughts are on Medieval Times and their performance practice with horses? Is it enrichment or is it overwork/abuse? Does it depend on location?

I'm asking because the only takes I've seen before have either been from animal-rights-activist vegan types who think using animals for entertainment is bad no-matter-what, or from more conservative folks who don't actually care about animal welfare to begin with and think it all must be fine as long as it's "legal." I'd love to see an actually educated take from someone more well-rounded! If this is asking too much you don't have to answer it, of course. I've always wanted to go back to a medieval times, but I also don't want to be supporting something bad!

Mock jousting is a fine horse sport and is generally very low stress at that. Jousts like those seen at Medival Times and ren fairs are choreographed and performed by trained actors, very little is expected of the horses. All the horses have to do is gallop in a straight line, and be brave enough to carry flags, run passed eachother, and be chill with brittle fake weapons and riders flying off their backs. Comparing it to many other horse sports which I also am not against or even partake in myself, jousting horses have it pretty easy. In my sport we basically train our horses to be fit enough to gallop for 5-10 minutes straight. Jousting horses only have to gallop for 30 seconds max per match. While I don't necessarily follow it that closely, I've yet to see any mishaps on horses associated with jousting.

Personally I'm a huge fan of just about any kind of mounted martial arts. In pretty much all cases, a bit of courage with strange sensations and noises is all that is really expected of horses used for it and really it's a good thing to prepare any horse for. I've personally been trying to get into mounted archery, and my cousin did rodeo where she competed in mounted shooting.

The only potential issue i can see maybe is the facilities the horses are kept, but from what little I know in how horses are kept for things like medeval times is that they tend to outsource from horse farms that have horses trained for these types of jobs and they rotate through so they will spend some time at the facility and some time on their home farm where they will get light work and training brush ups with plenty of rest days where they can go out and be horses.

My mom was a huge fan so I had the urge to analyze his chart and wow! I’m using whole sign system for his chart

With Neptune 1h, people create these fantasies of who you are and not see the real you, they also put you on a high pedestal, you give off “Gods among us energy!” This is exactly what I think was happening to him lol, Harry styles has Jupiter 1h as well with libra moon 12h, I’m seeing the same energy with him a little bit

I added his asteroid Lilith here and I see it conj his Mc and Mars. He may have been seen as a sex icon or lot of people wanted to hook up with him. With mars in his 10h, he put a lot of passion into his career, 10h ruler in the 11h Virgo, and wasn’t he one of the first mainstream celebrities to introduce vegan life style before it became as popular as it is today.

His Taurus moon conj Saturn 7h , he was emotionally mature and stable. He may have had to grow up quickly than other kids with Saturn on his moon. It probably took him awhile to open up emotionally to people. His 4h ruler(moon) is in the 9h. he either came from a immigrant family, they traveled a lot or they were religious or spiritual some way. OJV Stan… he is a fucking stereotypical DREAM MAN! Kyle is down astronomically bad. He is TALL (hit his last growth spurt between sophomore and junior year), like tops off at a lil over 6’2 and is the second tallest of the ojverse Star Seven also he’s BUILT AS HELL?!? In high school his physique could be attributed to the myriad of physically demanding hobbies he cycled through (football in particular when he started dreaming of going pro rip to that) and work on Randy’s Fuckass Farm (fuck u randy). But when he’s older he gets softer, sure (best pillow ever) but keeps working out JUST so he can hold every animal ever like a BABY!!! If you want an approximate art reference of young adult OJV Stan, @bunytime ’s drawings on here for SURE! Like he is tall and strong and BUILT FOR HUGS!!!

Blue blue BLUE eyes like not scary stare into your soul but this soft deep shade that reminds you of calm waters and gemstones peeking from the depths of the shadows of his brows. Just gentle waves and clear dusk light.

Ojv Stan didn’t go through the ever popular bleached hair headcanon, most of my Stans didn’t, but this one bc on the brink of a SadSack episode he mentioned getting Kenny to pierce his ears and dye his hair and (this was before they were dating) Kyle was like NO!!! Bc he always loved Stan’s classic all american look and knows him well enough to know that he would’ve hated it a few days later.

And he has tiny, almost imperceptible random scars in various places from childhood tomfoolery, especially on his hands bc he sometimes rivals Kenny in recklessness, and those hands are so rough but so TENDER when they touch you and he’s so aware of his own size and inherent ruggedness that completely juxtaposes his personality and it’s so!!! (God forgive me I’m thinking about nsfw ojv style hcs now)

Aight so OJV Stan IS greasy to some extent, c’mon he’s very Boy, but (this is important) only when he’s having a rough time mentally. Like he’s one of those people where while his horrendous lack of style doesn’t change much, you can tell by the stubble and the gross hair when he’s not doing well. Uhhh later down the timeline he has a beard tho. The bear jokes definitely emerge.

And for his style choices ohhhhh my god this man CANNOT fuckin dress!!! I’m constantly putting ojverse Stan in my clothes bc WHAT is this guy doing wearing the “Bigfoot is real I made s’mores with him” shirt and he is GENUINELY confused when he can’t wear jeans to something formal. His socks are STUPID and GIMMICKY and never match, and his wallet has a million keychains HIS BACKPACK omg like every stereotypical veggie boy he has alll the vegan loser pins and patches. Animal activist Stan forever.

A very casual dresser tbh, t shirts and jeans, sweatpants, hoodies (that have mostly been confiscated by Kyle) like he truly sucks at clothes unless he’s going stupid abt a Halloween costume. He kinda relies on Ky to know what looks good on him irl, bc Kyle is VERY reactive when he’s dressed a certain way and Kyle climbing him= ah yes I look Not Disheveled right to jail for both of them.

Oh KYLE!!! From Stan’s pov??? OJV Stan is a huge fucking fantasy loser and he only knows the word “ethereal” bc he’s a nerd and it describes Kyle. On GOD OJV Kyle is so pretty!!! Like Stanley Down Bad Marsh is ENTHRALLED!!! Always, like since he knew what beauty was, beauty was Kyle.

Ojverse Kyle keeps his hair a little past his shoulders since like freshman year of high school, his HAIRRRRR lord those gorgeous red curls, Stan simply cannot get enough of them, that ponytail, the half bun, the little braids Marj used to do when she and Ky would hang solo… dear god Stan will not shut up about his beautiful elf kings hair. My guy, OJV Kyle is TINY. Not as short as Kenny and Tweek, but close and definitely skinny to the point where if he misses a meal EVERYONE is on his bony ass bc 1) diabetes and 2) they all know his past with eds and no one’s gonna let that shit get its claws on him again! Unfortunately, OJV Kyle has a really hard time gaining weight, but as an adult he’s fully recovered, just kinda slim and at risk of health problems from the damage he did, but he’s mostly ok.

Ky topped off at 5’7 and was the tallest of the m5 in 7th grade and then EVERYONE but Kenny surpassed him WHICH he was pissed abt for a while. But he kinda stopped caring once he and Stan got together bc Stan wasn’t thattt much taller at first (and then this mf got huge) but Kyle was… VERY INTO THAT! It’s so unserious bc when they’re older Kyle’s like dude just fuckin toss me around and Stan WILL NOT because he’s NERVOUS and also traumatized from the ONE time he reinjured Kyle’s bad knee during Super Best Spicy Time (yes that’s what his loser ass named the sex playlist) but when Ky gets in the mood he wants to be manhandled frfr (I will do a nsfw headcanon post prolly) like the SIZE DIFFERENCE kyle is so spicy 100% calls the shots out here climbin Staniel like a tree.

He’s pale as fuck, cannot tan at allll this dude will not go outside without sunscreen bc he IS Sheila’s son and had it drilled into him that they are pale redheads and uv rays are not their friend, BUT his freckles are faint and so prettttttyyyyy he doesn’t even hate them bc Stan loves them and Kyle loves Stan (losers) he’s got a little group of them on his left cheekbone that Stan INSISTS looks like a heart aaaaaaaaaa

Good lord those eyes. Like you look into them and you are LOST in the most beautiful woods you have ever SEEN!!! I’m serious his eyes look like a forest, green and threaded with occasional brown like tree trunks and they are MAGNETIC!!! He is POINTY too like his features are sharp but his eyes are comfortable and it’s just a beautiful balance.

I’m fully of the belief that this lil redhead is a CHRONIC CLOTHES STEALER!!! Sneaky lil fox like if he’s comfy at home he’s 100% wearing Stan’s lame ass “earth day 2013” hoodie or some shit BUT!!!

His actual clothing is VERY much hot professional dark academia vibes the sweaters, the reading glasses, that hair, like he’s so cute in his button ups and when he stops wearing cargo pants so much in college (man likes pockets change my mind) Stan is SALIVATING bc he can see the sbf’s lithe legs better and he wants to SNAG him smh down horrendous. Kyle wears a lotta green, bc we ginger losers know that’s our COLOR and he looks GORGEOUS in jewel tones what a PRETTY BOY!!! Favorite item of clothing is DEFINITELY Stan’s Peace Love Pine Trees hoodie!!!

They do have friendship (lovers) bracelets that Kenny made them btw

In late September, Anastasia Yemelyanova, an activist from St. Petersburg, was killed in Erzurum, Turkey. During her life, she attended rallies against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, was a member of the Party of the Dead and the Vesna movement, assisted the gender equality collective Eve’s Ribs, and ran a YouTube channel about feminism. The 32-year-old’s body was found in her apartment; later, during an interrogation, her boyfriend confessed to injuring her with a shard of glass. By the time doctors arrived at the scene, Yemelyanova had died from blood loss. On September 26, the St. Petersburg outlet Bumaga published a story about Yemelyanova’s life. Meduza shares an English-language adaptation of the article.

The start of Yemelyanova’s activism

Anastasia’s Yemelyanova’s death was first reported publicly by her fellow activist Anastasia Polozkova. “The two of us would argue on the balcony about the list of banned professions [for women in Russia] and listen to true crime podcasts and stand-up comedy together. She loved to sew, cook vegan food, and meet up with friends. She planned to live,” Polozkova wrote.

Yemelyanova moved to St. Petersburg from Novosibirsk in 2013. She enrolled in the mathematical linguistics program in St. Petersburg State University’s philosophy department, and it was there that she first became involved in activism.

Nastya became very interested in politics, political art, and feminism, and she hit the ground running on several projects at once, from official ones such as election monitoring to creative ones like workshops run by the [performance] art group {rodina} (“Motherland”).

At the same time, Yemelyanova was also working with the YouTube channel “Feminists explain,” the Vesna movement, the women’s rights organization Eighth Initiative Group, and the projects Eve’s Ribs and Open Space.

Yemelyanova embroidered original designs about political topics on bags, clothing, and pillows. She belonged to the art groups Urodina and Party of the Dead, and according to her friends, she never missed a single feminist rally or picket protest in St. Petersburg.

Nastya was a terrible bore! She was the most persnickety person in the world — she would outargue God himself if he was wrong, which he usually is. And she had the most passionate, tender heart, sensitive to all the pain in the world: the pain of her loved ones, the pain of total strangers, the pain of animals, the pain of entire countries, the pain of the whole planet.

We lived together [in a shelter for activists, then in a shared apartment], and I knew her for a year and a half. She always struck me as a very responsible person. She worked in a research center and would talk about how she was reviewing research and studying English literature. She also knew Italian, and she was studying Turkish in Turkey.

In January 2020, a group of St. Petersburg feminists, including Darya Apakhonchich and Leda Garina, released a book called Fairy Tales for Girls. The volume is a collection of children’s fairy tales without patriarchal stereotypes and with an emphasis on dynamic female characters. In the stories, female characters go through personal journeys, making discoveries and overcoming obstacles, while simultaneously fighting against the patriarchy. Anastasia Yemelyanova edited and revised the book.

She was very brave. Whenever we had any kind of protest performance, like the “vulva ballet” (Note from Meduza: A protest performance in support of Yulia Tsvetkova, who was prosecuted for her drawings of vulvas), she would always participate. She seemed to have a deep inner drive to show solidarity. This was a very important feeling for her.

One of Yemelyanova’s last projects was called Cheat Sheet. Its goal was to defend the rights of schoolchildren as well as their parents and teachers, and it included a chat group where people could ask for advice about how to implement the government’s “patriotic” history lessons or what to do if school administrators were pressuring you for opposing the war in Ukraine.

One of the most important issues in Yemelyanova’s work was domestic violence. “We made several videos about this topic for the YouTube channel,” said Varya Mikhailova. “We discussed it constantly at various events; she had her own original project involving posters about domestic violence, and she organized protests in support of the Khachaturyan sisters.”

‘It became clear that it would be dangerous for her to stay’

In the spring of 2022, Yemelyanova emigrated to Turkey. By then, many of the feminist activists in St. Petersburg had had their homes searched by the authorities, and at least one of them had been declared a “foreign agent.” Many of Yemelyanova’s friends had already left Russia. According to Varya Mikhailova, Yemelyanova hesitated to emigrate for a long time and was one of the last people in her circle to leave.

After the start of the full-scale war, she participated — almost every single day — in all of the anti-war protests in St. Petersburg, and she wore yellow and blue symbols when she went to work or walked around the city. At a certain point, it became clear that it would be very dangerous for her to stay, and she went to Turkey. I think she was happy here [in St. Petersburg].

In late June, Yemelyanova said on Twitter that she had started dating a man who had come to Turkey from Syria as a refugee: “War on all sides, and I’m in love once again, what are you gonna do?” she wrote, quoting a song. Her new boyfriend worked as a barista in a coffee shop.

Yemelyanova’s last social media post came on September 20. In previous weeks, she had written about her remote work for the Hannah Arendt Research Center, adjusting to life in a new country, and her plans to get married.

All of her posts about her boyfriend were positive, even when she wrote about their arguments. “I flipped out because Nizar works from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., then he sleeps until 3:00 p.m. and spends the night in the basement, and I didn’t come here to never see him. I came to him in tears, with all of my grievances. He promised to take a day off and spend the night with me. He brought me to work, sat me down, and made me a soy latte,” read one post.

“She seemed very happy in this relationship. She said Nizar really supported everything she did and cared for her,” Yemelyanova’s friend Yulia said, according to Kosa.media. “We also knew that he had religious parents, so he couldn’t tell them about Nastya. But as far as we knew, he wasn’t personally criticizing Nastya’s views; they didn’t have any quarrels or fights.”

Nastya didn’t see any danger in this man because he never showed any signs of danger: he was polite and caring. And Nastya’s alarm bells weren’t triggered, because there evidently wasn’t anything to trigger them. In that sense, I think we should reconsider how we teach our children to talk about violence. Because we have this idea that you should look out for red flags [in relationships], and that’s correct, but we also need to understand that sometimes there are no red flags.

In September, Yemelyanova and her boyfriend rented an apartment in Erzurum. On September 20, she stopped responding to her friends’ messages. “Nastya was a very responsible person; she wouldn’t just disappear like that. She especially wouldn’t stop responding to her mother,” Anastasia Polozkova said.

Yemelyanova’s friends teamed up on social media to spread the word about her disappearance, and two of them went to the police in Istanbul to file a missing person report. The police, however, refused to search for Yemelyanova and told them to consult the Russian Consulate. The Consulate initially told the women that they needed a statement from Yemelyanova’s mother, and later stopped responding to their calls altogether.

We monitored social media and wrote to Nizar’s friends. I asked a friend who knows Arabic to write to him. We figured out his last name and searched for his relatives on social media. Other friends of ours used clues from videos to search for the address of the apartment where they were living. We examined Nastya’s last posts on social media.

On Sunday, Yemelyanova’s friends managed to get an answer from the police: their database indicated that Yemelyanova had been killed three days earlier. According to Anastasia Polozkova, the police later said that when the women contacted the Russian Consulate, the agency already knew what had happened to Yemelyanova.

The Russian Consulate was just doing what it always does; they traditionally don’t give a shit about anything. I don’t think they were intentionally trying to hide anything, I think they just couldn’t care less. The same is true of the Turkish authorities, apparently.

According to the Turkish news outlet Hürriyet, on September 20, at about 11:00 p.m., a fight broke out between Yemelyanova and Nizar that was loud enough for the neighbors to hear. Shortly after, Nizar asked one of the neighbors for help, saying that Yemelyanova had been injured. By the time an ambulance arrived, she had died from blood loss.

At the time of his arrest, Nizar said that Yemelyanova had accidentally cut her leg on a coffee table that had broken during the fight, but he later changed his story during an interrogation and said that he had injured her himself.

It seemed to me that she stood out from many of my other friends in that she had a very defined sense of her boundaries. She would always speak clearly in conversation about a lot of things that the rest of us were still trying to learn how to be clear about. And despite that, she ended up in this situation. But violence happens whether you’re ready for it or not.

Anastasia Yemelyanova’s friends have launched a fundraising campaign to support her family and to pay for the cost of transporting her body back to Russia, which will cost approximately 500,000 rubles ($5,140).

Just Stop Oil or Just Stop hypocrisy?

I love how a group of climate change activists thought the way to call awareness to climate change was to throw soup at a piece of art belonging to an artist whose goal was to through his art communicate “joy and comfort”.

Yes, because the oil painting from the artist who lived in misery his entire life who only wanted to bring the joy and comfort he did not experience in his life to those who saw his art is completely at fault for climate change, and not the multi-million dollar oil companies exploiting the world and society.

You hear that @juststopoil? Totally Van Gogh’s fault!

Someone needs to explain the difference between oil paint and petrol oil to these activists.

Actually, allow me.

A quick google search can answer that for you:

All you’re achieving with these protests is becoming a joke to the people who actually support you, Just Stop Oil.

But sure, Van Gogh is totally to blame for climate change. And not the plastics, and silicones and petrol used to make the super glue your activists used to glue themselves to the walls.

Go back ten years or so, and it was a different world regarding sexual minorities.

Few people cared about drag queens performing for adults. Gay marriage controversies were dying down, and anti-gay discrimination was almost entirely in the past. Most people thought that transgenderism was weird, fringe, and basically harmless. There were so few transgender people that the issue rarely came up, and few people cared much.

Even the gay marriage debate was more about the term than the legal rights–opponents wanted to carve out a space for traditional marriage, but most were no longer objecting to a legal equivalent in civil unions.

Fast forward a few years and alphabet ideology is everywhere, and the alphabet ideologists are basically tied with the pro-Hamas crowd and the Climate Change cultists for being the worst people to share spaces with. They are even more obnoxious than vegans.

It is all about power and privilege. There is an inverse relationship between the oppression claimed by activists and the actual power and privilege they wield.

We see this everywhere we look. Few of us would care much about the few actual transgender people among us, but the recruitment of children, the obnoxious, in-your-face demands for obeisance, the mutilation and sterilization of children…it is and is intended to be an assault on the dominant culture.

Alphabet ideologists demand to rule the rest of us. What we say, what we think, who can play what sports, what spaces woman may or may not use in privacy. Unless we kiss their feet, date them on demand, pretend that men can be pregnant, or use their newly invented pronouns we are to be canceled.

A great case is this privileged activist Tommy Dorfman, a celebrated trans activist who uses his male name (no deadnaming, at least), is clearly male, but bullies a working guy for “misgendering” him.

Dorfman complains that he is suffering human rights abuse when the poor gate agent is just trying to do his job. Dorfman is a celebrated actor who sponsors products for major brands, and yet he feels the need to get a guy fired for saying “sir.”

Why? Because he can, and having the power to destroy others has always been attractive to a certain kind of tyrannical personality. The destruction itself is the goal.

This is why the rules are always changing. You literally cannot keep up with the changes in the pronouns, the rules, the things that get you canceled. As I have written before, there are many lists of dos and don’ts, pronouns, and microaggressions to avoid, and in the end, they all note that you have to keep checking back because the lists change and expand.

The message is clear: we are in charge, and you must obey. And, of course, we are coming for your children and there is nothing you can do about it. You must pay for our surgeries, kiss our feet, call us what we want, and if you don’t, you will lose your job and social standing.

And we will plaster your shame all over the internet. Because, as you see, not only did this activist shame this gate agent in public but blasted his face across the world. It is about destruction.

All the Left-wing activists have similar strategies. They destroy our art, deface our monuments, block our movement, poop on the street, and demand we embrace their assault on everything we value.

If the activists tried to explain, persuade, debate, or even lobby the level of conflict would drop to almost nothing. I would still oppose them, but I wouldn’t spend so much time fighting them.

But they are horrible people. Terrible, horrible, no good very bad people. And they must be defeated.
