Happy Sunday Runday. Long runs are back on the agenda. Today was my first time running double digit miles and I skipped 10. Feeling myself to say the least. Ignore that heart rate, it’s definitely wrong, it was raining.
I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday.

I’m cooking some of my meals for this week and I can’t help but imagine reader and lewis doing it together. just domestic bliss and tooth rotting fluff. even cleaning up afterwards would be fun *sobs into my hands*

Another inane post about food, but I keep thinking about how I always find myself surprised by how few people in my life/social circle are actually vegetarian, and I'm not sure why I do this? I grew up a vegetarian in a non-vegetarian household and everyone around me acted like it was really weird (and, in the case of some family members, tried to sneak meat into things I ate but that's another story), so I don't know why I would assume that it's something more people around me share, but I pretty consistently do?

🇩🇪 🍷 It's Sunday night and I'm enjoying this lovely, vegan 2021 Pauly Generations Riesling (90 pts, $26) from Mosel tonight. Arrived in LCBO VINTAGES last weekend. Highly recommended buy! Full review: https://rebrand.ly/xvoqoll

Running Dump.
Still down, it’s whatever. Still been running. Decided to start doing speed workouts again. Did two last week since I can’t lift with my thumb injury. Felt nice to run fast again. Did an easy run yesterday to prepare for my long run today. It went well. New record for me as far as distance and time goes. Treated myself to some food around the park. Not pictured, shallowed whole.
Can’t wait for the next run

Sundays are for cooking:
Curried cabbage, chickpea and mushroom with wholegrain rice.
Balsamic roasted stir fry veg with breaded 'prawn'.
Bombay style potatoes with paprika wilted spinach and smoked tofu
Black forest smoothie.
Vegan cooking rocks.

I decided to cook more. The goal is to take on new challenges, try new things, explore my limits, etc., all while remaining comfortably in my house. I enjoy cooking but have been lazy about it the past few years.
So, I made this over the weekend: subbed broccoli for snap peas (I'm not crazy about snap peas) and noodles for rice (love a noodle), kinda underestimated how much ginger to add, and tripled the soy sauce, and it was still freakin great!
(This is a gift article.)
