I'm so proud of myself and so happy I made this lifestyle change! I wish I had done it sooner, but I'm happy with knowing I have the rest of my life to continue being vegan.
Even though it's not a diet—I love eating the RAINBOW!! Some of my favorite dishes I've made over the years ↓
A bunch of soulful food to celebrate 11 years of veg and 3 years of veganism 💖 Do it for the animals, do it for the environment or do it for your health 🌱
When I told this to my wife she couldn’t stop laughing. I think she may secretly be a sadist who takes pleasure in my self-inflicted hardships. For this reason, I present this little tale of woe, in order that you my valued reader can make your own mind up. so distracted by life that i only just now realised that i passed my 6th veganniversary 👍 i have now spent a quarter of my life vegan and almost 10 years since i've eaten meat.
Hi! Congratulations on your veganniversary from a fellow german vegan. <3 Der Kuchen aus deinem Post sieht furchtbar gut aus. :D
thanks!!!! :D
nice to see other germans!! there are, like, 3 of us
its medovik, heres the (german) recipe: https://veganuschka.de/blog/rezepte/gebaeck/medovik-vegane-honigtorte/
tho for the karamell sauce i recommend to melt the sugar on its own in a pot, then add the butter until iits both golden brown and then add the creme. trying to melt sugar & butter together is super hard and easy to fuck up
Was my seven year veganniversary on the 13th and straight up forgot. Probably the most important thing I've done was go vegan and so much has changed since. Not as much as I'd like but more than most would expect. A lot more needs to be done in terms of animal agriculture and what we view as food. But change is happening.
