I just wanted to let you know that I loved your style of Wally so much that I saved it as my phone background so I can see it everyday 💕 and also I just love your art in General. Your colors are very veggiecore and I am here for it💖
Oh my??? You liked my little sketch that much? That really Warms my Heart to hear :-D Thanks for sticking around 💛 (I am not entirely sure what Veggiecore colours means, but I will asume it is a good thing haha)

May 29, 2021 - I’m still here! Garden is doing well but life is busy. Used a lot of the bounty in this basket to make a delicious vegetarian chili last night and I realized I need to plant some beans! Also not pictured is about a pound of cherry tomatoes. the winter crops are dying off with the heat so I’ll probably clean up the area where the broccoli used to be and plant the beans there.

March 12, 2021 - I was in incredibly surprised by how well my leeks did. They just feel like an up North crop to me, so I didn’t expect much here in Florida. But I bought one little plastic pot with a bunch of spaghetti thin leeks popping up in it and separated them into a 3 x 4‘ clump in the back of the garden. I added some loose bagged soil around them once, maybe after they had been growing for about 3 months. I couldn’t tell you exactly how long ago I planted them, but I now am adding leeks to everything and I will be planting just as much if not more next fall! Delicious 12/10 would recommend. I basically ignored them for 5ish months and they still thrived

April 10 2020 - the plants are happy! The “Black Beauty” eggplants are living up to their names. Some vine borers have gotten to the cucumbers, but I was halfway expecting that. Looks like we will at least get a handful of cucumbers for tasting before they go. I didn’t plant any Zinia seeds this spring, but that sure doesn’t mean there are no zinnias in the garden 😂

Jan 30, 2020. Planted two more varieties of carrots because I’m obsessed & some Red Fire lettuce. Overcast and cool (61F) so it should be a good day for germination.

Feb 25, 2020 - planted a handful of basil in pots and did some weeding around all the babies. Also let the sprinkler run because it’s been so dry and the seedlings aren’t fully established yet. It’s been weeks and I’m still pulling a good amount of broccoli, but letting the bits I missed go to seed (flower) so I can use this same variety next year & to feed the bees of course.
