made a realization with the new collection + reply system tumblr is testing. if you don't know about what they're beta testing– side blogs will soon be able to leave replies on posts and collections are essentially collecting your favorite blogs + tags and making your own curated feed outside your following tab. meaning... soon side blogs will to be able to, of course, comment on peoples posts, but also create their own collection / curated dashboard. so side blogs could have their own dashboard so you won't have to dig through your following feed to find your specific rp partners for that blog and its aesthetics

Is your muse a top, bottom, or a switch? Why? - for anyone that wants to answer

Elise In life, she's a switch. She will take charge when she feels she must or that she has the most authority in a given situation, but will defer to those she perceives as above her in authority, such as Owen, Claire, Sobek, and Rexy.

However, with a mate, she tends to be more meek and would rather let someone else take control. She wants a gentle and kind mate who isn't afraid to fight alongside her and protect her if she's in trouble. She would do the same for them.

Ripper Not that he has expressed much interest in finding a mate, entirely uninterested in having hatchlings or in having a life partner. However, if he had a mating partner, he is very dominant. He will not yield power or control. He must be on top, controlling everything.

Blue Definitely a top. She is not the submissive type, is incredibly stubborn, and only defers to her alphas, as she is second in command as the beta. Even then, barring orders from Rexy, Blue will often challenge the orders of her alphas. Though, physically, she can't necessarily top, if she could, she would. In her personal life, she must take charge.

Delta As the peacekeeper, Delta does not seek dominance or leadership. She defers easily to authority, but only steps up to keep things level and civil between pack members. She never even challenges the orders of her alphas or her beta unless their orders would harm the pack or put members of it in danger. With a mate, she would be submissive and want them to take control. However, if she feels they're not being good to her, she won't hesitate to take charge and make sure they know not to treat her that way.

Echo Total switch. She has a lot of energy and is the middle ground between her siblings. She's not dominant like Blue, but not submissive like Delta. It really just depends on the situation. After all, she did challenge Blue for her position once. With her mate, Fuego, she is very flexible. If he needs her to take charge, she will gladly do so. If he wants to be in charge, she will gladly participate.

Fuego Despite having been the de-facto alpha of his pack on Isla Sorna after their numbers plummeted, he's not necessarily a dominant sort. He's rather pushy and bossy. He's an anxious and neurotic busybody at heart, after all. Most of the time, he actually prefers to be submissive, though his attitude about it changes depending on his mate. If his mate is an aggressively dominant sort like Blue, he's more of a brat about it. With his mate, Echo, he's much more relaxed and at ease and if his mate allows it, he will gladly dominate. Sometimes he needs that sense of control, especially after everything he's gone through, and he's very gentle and considerate when in control of mating.

Rexy The old tyrannosaurus is a dominant force that all others defer to. There's only one she ever bows to, and even then, Claire holds a near immeasurable amount of respect and reverence for her. Just in her life, she's a dominant force in her relationships as well. Not to mention the fact that male tyrannosaurs are generally mellower than their female counterparts. However, her wisdom and experience has taught her not to be an aggressive leader. Rather a stern one. She conducts herself with dignity and grace and, despite her sternness, maintains a steady, kind, and gentle hand to those that depend on her and a healthy respect towards those that dare challenge her. She will only submit to someone she sees as her equal.

Sobek Unlike Rexy, the alpha of Isla Nublar, Sobek, the former alpha of Isla Sorna, is far more ornery. An incredibly dominant force that is far more aggressive. However, his age and experience has also granted him wisdom, but only a mere modicum of patience towards those he merely tolerates. He's certainly an ornery sort but, because his species does not mate for life, he is not an attentive dominant. This does not mean he is unkind or cruel. Quite the contrary. With a partner, he's very gentle and kind to his partner during the mating. But once its done and over with, he simply takes his leave.

Alexander Alexander, formerly nicknamed Junior, and named Limper by the inhabitants of Isla Sorna, was never an aggressive sort. However, that did not translate to submissive. During Sobek's time as alpha, Alexander maintained a healthy respect for the ornery spinosaurus, and that respect was mutual between them. Alexander wasn't necessarily a leader, per se. Just a commanding and dignified presence. He commanded respect, simply put. However, since Sobek's departure, he has proven to be a respectable alpha of the island and takes his position seriously. With a partner, he acts very much in the same way. Commanding, leading, but kind, gentle, and respectful.

They all seem pretty neat, though I must admit that, as a long-time furry, I greatly prefer the fox and the dragon :D

Azurel Dracolis - Large blue dragon. Also Dzamie's dragon transformation and my primary RP character. Generally in control of the situation, and rather protective of his loyal kobold den, the VitAzurels. Has been known to kidnap a princess or prince, and gets either a ransom or a meal out of them.

Rinta VitAzurel - Kobold mage, equipped with a staff directly from Azurel's hoard! She learned through some books he has, and has a penchant for size-changing magic... though prefers to use it on other people. Before Azurel sent her and Kassar to join a nearby city's Adventurer's Guild, she tended to shrink intruders and either swallow them or stick them between her legs. A bit of a dragon fanatic, even for a kobold.

Kassar VitAzurel - Kobold fighter, given sword and shield from Azurel's hoard. Sent with Rinta to become an adventurer, is a bit more... understanding of non-kobold beliefs, and generally tries to keep his fellow bold out of trouble.

Grace (slime) - Slime griffoness who hangs around in Azurel's lair. Friendly, outgoing, and loves physical contact. Often horny. Perfectly safe to be inside, unless you keep on insisting that you're trying to kill her. That gets your body turned into hers, fatally. Cannot fly, but can either puppet around whoever's inside her, or let herself be moved around by the same.

Grace (not) - Experimental fursona. She's on this list because I've drawn her once or twice. Generally a bit perkier than Dzamie and Azurel. Not an RP character.

Rekus - Dragonslayer-in-training panther, a bit gullible. Good fighter, unless he's up against a dragon. Admittedly don't have a strong personality for him.

Sinera - Fox mage, possibly the second living katul (the furry species) to learn magic, taught by Dzamie. Uses a brush or pencil to draw sigils in the air. Again, not much personality.

Galleon - MLP griffon, a bit cocky. Has quick claws and surprisingly good flight control for a non-pegasus. Has a good nose for finding legal means to keep his omnivorous diet - or at least keeping out of trouble with the illegal means.

Razzle - size-shifting Salazzle, and Dazzle's twin. Rarely uses her pheromones, but does have a bit of an ego (doesn't take it out on people directly, but she's no stranger to an "everyone will be mine!" villain soliloquy). Has basically no sex drive. Possibly ace?

Dazzle - size-shifting shiny Salazzle, and Razzle's twin. Basically the stereotype of a horny, enthralling Salazzle. Envies Razzle a little since Razzle doesn't rely on pheromones to get people to like her.

Wendy - friendly lemon shark (has stripes tattooed on her back for the "tiger shark" joke), works at an aquarium as a show diver (hops in to feed the fish and give relevant facts to visitors over the speakers). Occasionally picks up a side gig as a moat shark for a villain, or rescues shipwreck survivors as a hobby - though she does first ask if they'd rather she eat or save them.

Cerise - Velociraptor pack leader (Jurassic Park style raptor), marked by a dark red stripe down her snout and back. Able to read English, and takes great pleasure in outsmarting humans, often fatally.

Oh no, Emiiiiii don't make me crryyyyyy. My sense of time is really skewed but it feels like I've known you forever at this point. When we do talk, it's always so endearing to see how much energy that you have and in general you and I just feed off of eachother's chaotic energy when it comes to bothering our muses and I appreciate that. (I love that for the muses)

You took to Pino and Ravein just like I did to Emi. I tend to find a bias and stick to my bias with a velociraptor like grip, but I'm always open to trying something new and if you ever wanted me to adopt a new OC to take over a section of my brain, i'll never say no.

My bias for OCs is strong and will never break. I blame RP on forums where everything was OCs, so it's what I call home.

I just love threading with you and also just talking to you about-- whatever, whether it be life or what. mornin all, i plan to write during down times at work today + after a doc appt i have. im also still thinking on a community to test on beta, and since tumblr stated they wanted a vast array of different communities to begin and will be picky what they select with beta-- im between a community where people can share art and info about their ocs, or a simple "roleplay" community that's a bit of a catch all that maybe people can post promos and stuff? communities can be public or private, so I'm def going to go with the private option just to keep things sane. but those are my thoughts atm!

———  three  facts! ♡

My favourite dinosaurs are tyrannosaurus, utahraptor, dakotaraptor, velociraptor, spinosaurus and therizinosaurus. If you can’t tell, I really like therapods and especially adore the dromaeosaur (raptor) family. One of my big obsessions is dinosaurs; one of my preferred genres of writing is palaeofiction (very niche, I know), I dream about them (I’ve even dreamt about BEING a dinosaur... multiple times) (and yes, I’ve dreamt a dinosaur Sephiroth and you can find a doodle of him on this blog...).

Speaking of my passions, my main three special interests are dinosaurs, veganism/animal rights, and funnily enough, Sephiroth himself. I’m also a big film connoisseur (my favourite genres are science fiction and horror; I despise comedy and most romance so my knowledge on those types of films is borderline non-existent), and I adore animation. I’ve also had special interests in space, various groups of animals (and animals in general) (apart from non-avian dinosaurs, I’ve had a dog phase which makes me cringe, and an avian dinosaur phase, AKA modern birds, and also one on Phorusrhacids (giant, flightless, extinct carnivorous birds), anime/manga, different pieces of fiction (funnily enough, this includes my least favourite piece of fiction ever conceived, I hated it so much I grew fascinated by it, and began to love it in a ‘you’re so terrible that I’m actively inspired by your terrible-ness’ way), and probably a bunch more I’ve neglected to mention. You don’t choose the special interest... the special interest chooses you.

General tropes you’ll find in my writing includes extreme violence, tragic or bittersweet endings, characters who are ‘different’ in some way (or misunderstood), anti anthropocentrism, trauma, corruption, moral greyness (sometimes of a very dark shade), and most likely, a LOT of death. No, I do not write light stories, and yes, I’ve had people tell me my work has made them cry. Granted, said works are old now and I hate them, so I’m hoping my current project will have similar effect.

I first started RPing in 2019 with a character named Ghost; it was a wattpad RP about a war between fire and ice dragons. Ghost was a pacifist ice dragon, and she ended up being the focus of my first tumblr RP blog (summer 2020, I adapted her into the FF7 universe... the blog’s pretty much inactive now, but it was a multi-muse with other OCs adapted into the FF7 universe from previous wattpad RPs, like Athena, Andromeda and Blade).

With regards to Sephiroth, I began to RP him a month or two after I made Ghost’s blog (again, summer 2020). I’d never really written a canon character, like ever, but I wanted to give it a go because a) I really like Sephiroth, b) I find him very relatable to a personal degree, and c) because of those two reasons, I felt I might be able to write him decently. It was a sideblog, but in February 2021 I made him my main muse with a blog of his own, since I was much more active with him.

General writing-wise, I think I started writing stories around when I was 7, and I haven’t stopped since.

SEPHIROTH. My other blogs (the OC multimuse, Hojo, and JENOVA) are all inactive now. Sometimes I have moments where I want to write Ghost again (she’s my favourite OC if you can’t tell), and maybe I could make a sideblog for her sometime, but my focus is definitely on Sephiroth.

———  FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT! ♡    

FLUFF: You know, usually I’m not big on soft/happy stuff, but sometimes it’s good to write considering most of my stuff is DEATH, BLOOD, and PAIN. Especially since Sephiroth is a character who’s committed acts of extreme violence, and hides a lot of his true vulnerability, I think it can be interesting to explore said vulnerability with nicer, more calm situations. I don’t write much fluff, but I kinda wish I did a bit more.

ANGST: ... Well duh. DUH. Though, it’s more Sephiroth causing angst for other characters, but he’s still very much filled with pain considering what he’s been through. Sometimes this can slip through when he thinks back on his conception, or if he’s interacting with a character like Lucrecia, Hojo, or Vincent. One of my favourite drabbles to write was this one, where he faces permadeath and must come to terms with the fact that he will face his biggest fear of all: oblivion (hence the title). So yes, I like angst.

SMUT: nOPE. I don’t mind writing something suggestive, especially if it’s paired with my familiar old friend violence, but I can’t bring myself to write explicit smut. 

PLOT / MEMES: I can honestly go either way.
